Return from the Honeymoon and the start of the Exams.

Story begin:
-The Next Day in Konoha-
Minato was currently in his office going through the paperwork with three shadow clones. Currently the paperwork involved getting the village ready for the chuunin exams. You know travel permits for the ninja coming from the different villages, permits for merchants, also a couple of new hotels had to be built to accommodate the excess of foreign ninja that was coming to the village for the exams.
Minato was about to go for a break to meet up with his family when a familiar poof noise was heard. Minato turned towards the door and standing there was an average sized timberland wolf. The wolf was carrying a scroll around its neck like a St. Bernard with that little barrel.
"Hokage-sama, I come with a scroll from Arashi-sama" the Wolf said walking towards the desk.
"Thank you Wolf-san" Minato replied taking the scroll. Opening the scroll he read the message it contained.
'Ohayu Tou-san.
Inside this scroll you should find my report on the mission, Tayuya and I are going to enjoy the next week and a half on vacation, tell Kā-chan Arigatō for our kimono's and tell Jiraiya-ojī-san thanks for the 'honeymoon gift' we'll be enjoying
Love Arashi'
Of course there was a drawing of a chibi Arashi and Tayuya giving the victory sign was added. Below that was a seal, containing the mission report. Opening the seal Minato went over the seal that covered what Arashi and Tayuya encountered. Minato was surprised about the Akatsuki encountered but according to Arashi considering the surprise everything went well with little injuries.
Minato was slightly confused about the Honeymoon part, but he will mention that to Kushina later.
"If you can tell my son to enjoy the honeymoon I would be thankful" Minato asked the messenger wolf.
"No problem hokage-sama" the wolf said as it poofed out of the room. Chuckling a bit Minato headed out of the room flashing away towards the house.
-At Chateau le Senju-
When Minato arrived home, he found Shizune and Kushina in the sitting-room. Little Hitomi asleep in Kushina's arms. Taking off his sandals and throwing on his slippers.
"Taidama" he said hanging his cloak. Shizune and Kushina Looked over and smiled
"Okaeri nasai Mina-koi" Kushina answered seeing her husband in the hallway "are you home for lunch or are you finished for the day?"
"I'm home for lunch, but I have to get back to finish the paperwork, these chuunin exams don't arrange themselves you know" he said chuckling "Oh by the way I got this letter from Arashi, who says thanks for the kimonos you packed for him I guess" Minato said handing the scroll over to Kushina. As she was reading the scroll Jiraiya decided to pop into the house.
"Tou-san what does Arashi mean by honeymoon" Minato asked spotting the old pervert.
"Heheh it means I left them with only the honeymoon suite in the hotel" Jiraiya answered "most of the single bed rooms were left and so I booked all the two bed rooms and the only room after was the honeymoon suite."
"Well that explains the gift part, I just hope they didn't do anything rash" Minato said rubbing his head in thought.
"Enough about Arashi and Tayuya and their little romantic getaway, let's go eat already" Kushina said getting impatient.
"Yeah I'm with Kā-chan, let's go get ramen I starving here dattebane" Hikari shouted from the kitchen. 'Like mother like daughter' Jiraiya though. Gathering their stuff the family headed out towards Ichiraku's.
-With Arashi and Tayuya ^_^ -
Currently our favorite couple were currently busy cuddling in bed, after a night of sexual exploration all they felt like doing was lying in bed for the rest of the week. However I wouldn't have much of a story if they did as I would only end up with a short story but I digress, Arashi was currently lying on his back with Tayuya lying on his chest. Arashi was thinking back on the previous while stroking Tayuya's hair. He spotted Tayuya's mate mark on her back, but then again it's kinda hard to miss, it was a beautiful tattoo that depicted two Foxes a pale red Nine-tailed fox and a golden Ten-tailed Fox embracing each other.
'To be honest this totally beats the hell out of a wedding ring or an engagement ring, that don't mean I won't get her one just not right now' he thought.
Seallessly creating a shadow clone he had it go and get breakfast ready for them, while falling back asleep for a while. However that was shortly lived when the smells of bacon and eggs soon filled the bedroom from the kitchen. This had the effect of waking up the two of them.
Tayuya stretched before sitting up, rubbing the sleep from her eyes and wrapping the blanket around her bare torso.
"Mhmm Ohayu Rashi-koi" she purred kissing him on the lips "last night was amazing"
"Best night of my life so far Akahime" Arashi replied returning the kiss with vigor "Now I believe it's time we get up and enjoy our 'honeymoon', no?" he asked
"Oh of course especially seeing as tou-chan was so generous as to give us paid vacation" Tayuya replied smirking.
With that the couple got dressed and headed into the kitchen and enjoyed some breakfast. During breakfast they made plans for what to do over the week. Finishing breakfast they cleaned up got ready and headed out.
That day they went to the local movie theatre where they had an all-day Kaiju [monster movies] movie marathon. Their favorite movies being the Godzilla movies. The great thing about this was they were just about the only ones in the theatre to enjoy the films so they were able to cheer on the characters and whatnot during the films and not disturb anyone, and anyone that was there cheered along with them.
The next day they actually did spend it in bed, cuddling and other bed and couple-like activities, they even watched a couple of movies on the large TV they had in the bedroom.
That was Friday, over the weekend they attended the Boardwalk festival enjoying some of the activities they had during the festival and in fact they had a booth with Godzilla plushies, Arashi got them all for Tayuya. They also enjoyed the Ferris wheel they had on the boardwalk, as well as having a nice romantic dinner in one of the restaurants in the town. They also had quite an adventure as well but that's another story.
The next week they enjoyed one of the mixed hot springs they had running during the week as well as some beach time so Tayuya could work on her tan. There were also some couple activities like couples beach volley ball and what not. They spent their last day before they had to go back to the Leaf village, again in bed only they weren't cuddling, oh no they were spending their time doing the nasty as they wouldn't be able to do it for a while. The next day they headed back to the village.
-Back in the village two days later-
Naruto and Karin had just finished training for the day and Naruto was off to learn Fūinjutsu with Kushina, while Karin went to the hospital for her lessons in medical Ninjutsu. The chuunin exams were upon them and they were soaking up every bit of training they could get even Ino was busy training with her father in their clan jutsu. Ino and her older brother would be seen sparring on their clan training grounds daily when she wasn't with Karin and Hikari at the Hospital.
Naruto had been real busy since his Grandparents came home. Tsunade would teach him in her super strength and Jiraiya thought him some of his jutsu except his ones that needed a contract with the toad summons. However Naruto was able to learn some combination attacks with his summons, like with his wolf summons he would help them when they used their ice breath he would use a wind jutsu to super cool it to make it more effective he would do the same with the ligers and their fire breath.
Plus a couple of weeks ago he managed to unlock his chakra chains so he was being trained in using them by Kushina, as well as that he was able to use his mokuton effectively now thanks to Yamato. Naruto also made some good progress with the Hiraishin and his elemental affinities
-With Minato in the Hokage's office-
Minato was quietly reading a new book he picked up the other day after finally tired of reading his sensei's first book, to be honest if you read a book over and over again a number of times no matter how much you love it you will get tired of reading it. Interestingly enough this book wasn't about ninja's but a person known as a detective as he solved crimes in made up city full of tall buildings and what-not. What interested Minato was the fact that this detective didn't use chakra at all in fact this book was set in a different world all together in which no one has the knowledge of chakra but more of technology.
Anyway Minato was reading his book and he shadow clones were going over the paperwork occasionally bothering him to get a second opinion on certain decisions. As he was reading he sensed to familiar Chakra signatures coming towards the tower and fast. He managed to get a chapter or two of his book finished before the two signatures barged in through the window.
"Sup Tou-san, jōnin Senju Arashi and Tatsumaki Tayuya returning from an A-rank turned S-rank Mission and issued vacation Hokage-sama" Arashi said as he and Tayuya saluted towards Minato
"At ease you two, so how was it, besides what was in the report" Minato asked. And with that the two young adults retold exactly happened on the mission, Arashi of course excluded the part about Tayuya becoming a jinchūriki
"One thing that bothered me though was when we got your letter you said thanks for the honeymoon gift but the way you wrote it, it sounded as if you were really on your honeymoon, you didn't do anything reckless now did you Musuko" Minato asked his eldest.
"No we didn't, especially eloping if that is what you are referring to, however I will tell you what we meant by that when we get home as I would like not to repeat it to Okā-san, Oba-san, ojī-san and Obā-san." Arashi said, Minato nodded as he accepted the answer, he could help but notice how closer the two young adults in front of him were, it seemed his and his wife's plan worked, although he was wondering if it was overkill getting his own father to help them in this endeavor.
"Fair enough, well with the debriefing done, all I have to do is give you your pay for the mission, and seeing as it was upgraded to a S-rank mission, you'll be getting a 20% pay increase." He said giving them their pay slips which they would have to hand in to the mission office to claim their payment for the mission. "While you are getting your wage, I will be finishing up here and I meet you at home"
"Right then we'll be off then, see you at home Otō-san" Arashi said bowing and actually heading for the door, seeing as the mission office was on the floor below them and the only way to get to the office was through inside as their wasn't big enough windows on that floor for them to go through.
"See ya later tou-chan" Tayuya said winking at Minato, which had a result of leaving a confused and shocked face on Minato. Finishing his work quickly Minato went home to head off the teens.
-Later at the Senju Compound-
Flashing into the hallway, Minato took of his sandals and cloak and heading into the living room to relax and get his head cleared before an inevitable bombshell would be dropped in the coming moments.
"Taidama" he said loud enough to let anyone on the ground floor while taking off his sandals and cloak and throwing on his slippers, a red blur came from the kitchen as Minato was tackled into a hug, and only through getting used to it was he not knocked to the floor, he chuckled as an amused Kushina came out of the kitchen as well the smell of her cooking saturating the hallway in the heavenly scents as the door closed behind her
"Okaeri nasai Tou-chan" Hikari said releasing her father from her hug as Kushina walked over and kissed her husband
"Okaeri nasai Mina-koi, how goes the paperwork" she said smiling at her husband,
"Good, I almost have all the paperwork regarding the chuunin exams finished, the only thing left is to pick the proctors for the three tests." He said not bothering to mention that Arashi and Tayuya had returned home, no he would leave that as a surprise.
"So any word on when Arashi-kun and Tayuya-chan might be returning to the village, they should be home any day now right?" Kushina asked getting slightly worried about her eldest son and future-daughter-in-law.
"Actually I got a summons from them yesterday saying they should be home soon enough as they were leaving the resort village yesterday morning. So we should be expecting them quite soon." Minato said "Where's Naruto I thought you would be training him in Fūinjutsu at this time of day?"
"No we finished early so he went out to look for little Ino-chan" Kushina said with a small smile.
"The little gaki is probably at that ramen stand again I swear he is almost as bad as you are Kushina" Jiraiya said walking through the front door with Tsunade and Shizune in tow.
"I'm not that bad ttebane" Kushina said huffing indignantly
The six of them were getting to sit down for lunch and Kushina was getting ready to feed little Hitomi. When all of a sudden the front door opened and a familiar male voice called out
"We're home, anyone here" Arashi called out as he took off his sandals, he was going to get his slippers when he was tackled to the ground by a red blur.
"NII-CHAN, you're back ttebane" Hikari said hugging her older twin to death, what can I say Hikari is a hugging person and like her mother and younger brother she can get quite excited.
"Hiya Imōto, nice to see you too, now any chance you could let me get up" he said deadpanning
"Heheh sorry nii-chan, I was just glad to see you home again, nice to see you back as well Tayuya" she said laughing nervously, see also heard about the mission from her father so see wanted to know what happened and if her brother and Tayuya had gotten any closer
"Hiya Hikari," Tayuya said smirking at her mate's predicament, it had always been funny when Hikari decided to football tackle Arashi randomly. "Hows the others?"
"They're doing fine, anyway lets head into the kitchen, tou-chan and kā-chan are inside and we were about to sit down for lunch" Hikari said as she proceeded to drag the couple into the kitchen "Hey kā-chan look what Tora dragged in" she said when she walked into the kitchen.
"Please don't mention that demon imōto" Arashi mumbled "Hiya Kā-chan" he then said walking up to his mother and hugged her
"Welcome home Arashi-kun," Kushina said hugging back "How did the mission go"
"It went well," he started going back over it for his mother and of course leaving out the part of Tayuya becoming a jinchūriki.
"And how was your vacation and 'honeymoon' I hope you didn't do anything foolish, like eloping did you?"
"No we didn't elope Okā-san" Arashi assured his mother "However we might be technically married" Arashi said chuckling nervously while Tayuya looked nervous as well.
"WHAT" Kushina, Minato and Hikari shouted completely surprised.
"Well you see according to Masamune, because of our connection to the Kitsune we have now, those with Kitsune partners in our clan when we, well mate we become bonded or mated as Masamune put it, this bond is shown by a mate mark, showing that we are bonded for life" Arashi said as he took off his shirt and showed the tattoo on his back, he quickly put it back on once they all saw it. Jiraiya starting giggling perversely
"That's great my boy that's pure gold" he said as he wrote into his little notebook "Two lovers her find themselves bonded by their love for all eternity, brilliant" he continued giggling until he was planted into the ground by a knock to the head from Tsunade who grumbled 'pervert' while her Son and daughter just chuckled at the scene
"Now when can I start expecting grand-babies" Kushina said changing the subject and with that Arashi blushed and Tayuya also sported a blush but she forced it down and prepared a counterattack
"Okā-san! Can we not be talking about that sort of thing right now" Arashi said getting red in the face
"Oh and why not Arashi-kun, it's perfectly natural for a man and a woman to make love to one another and as you know a child is the result of such love making, that and I want grandbabies to spoil rotten soon" Kushina said smiling at her blushing son and daughter in law
"What's with the change of attitude towards us sleeping together all of a sudden?" Arashi said
"Well seeing as how you are technically married and are consenting adults I don't mind anymore, and I want grandbabies" Kushina said shrugging her shoulders
"Don't worry kā-chan, I plan on enjoying my man to the fullest" Tayuya said smirking, she had enjoyed her 'honeymoon'. "Oh and heads up I'm moving out of my room and into his" she said pointing her thumb at Arashi who was bumping fists with his father who was grinning like a mad man. "So, if you don't mind Rashi and I are going to move my stuff into his room." Tayuya said dragging her mate up to her room to begin moving of her stuff.
"Well have fun then" Kushina said waving enthusiastically, Minato just gave his son a thumbs up.
-With Naruto-
Naruto was currently returning home after encountering the team of genin from Suna, ie the Kazekage's children Kankuro, Temari and Gaara,
Kankuro was bullying Konohamaru and Naruto stepped in to avert something serious happening, when kankuro wouldn't budge he used his mokuton to constrict Kankuro and Temari when she went to help her brother, Naruto told them he would let them go as long as they didn't try anything, then Gaara showed up and threatened his siblings lives and then asked Naruto his name. They were surprised to say the least when they not only found out he was a Senju but who exactly he was related to. After saying he was looking forward to fighting Naruto in the future, he and his siblings left.
Kurama had warned Naruto about Gaara being the jinchūriki of Shukaku the Ichibi no Tanuki, [one tailed raccoon-dog]. However Kurama said not to worry as having Two nine tails and a ten tailed against a one tailed is overkill, but Kurama told Naruto to be careful and not piss the Gaara kid off as Shukaku likes to drive his vessels absolutely bat shit crazy.
Naruto had just turned down to the road leading to the Senju compound when Kurama and himself noticed he was being followed, as thanks to them being partners for the long run now Naruto was able to sense people's emotions now and he was feeling a lot of negative ones now right now
'Kit just to let just a heads up but we got a tail and I don't mean my tails but as in someone is following us' Kurama said
'I know Kurama and I know what you mean when we have a tail, aneki and Kaa-chan did make study and improve my intelligence remember' Naruto replied 'anyway better confront the teme now and get it over with'
"You can come out now Uchiha, I know your there, now whaddaya want" Naruto said getting the emo king's attention. And speak of the devil and he shall appear for Sasuke jumped appeared in front of Naruto jumping from out of the trees
"Fight me dobe" he said in his usual arrogant tone.
"Why would I fight you especially after being insulted," Naruto replied
"You have power I need that you don't deserve, I need power to kill my older brother and I am an Uchiha and elite and more deserving of any power that you dobe" Sasuke said glaring with his sharingan.
"Well if you think I was just handed my skills then you're wrong, and my Kekkei Genkai I got the same as you got yours I was born a Senju and inherited my great grandfather's mokuton, so just like I can't use a sharingan or Haku's Hyoton [Ice release] or even aniki's Rinnegan, then there is no way on kami's green earth you'll be able to use my mokuton skills" Naruto said glaring right back at Sasuke
"Fight me I won't tell you again" the Uchiha said
"And I say no, I have no beef with you and I don't fight outside team training spars, so if you want to fight me so bad go to Kakashi-oji-san and ask him to arrange something with my aniki otherwise get lost cause I need to get home" Naruto said turning around and heading for home
"What too scared to face me dobe" Sasuke said resorting to calling Naruto out. Naruto turned around and raised an eyebrow
"Seriously resorting to that, just go home Sasuke, you won't get me with such cheap tactics especially after the training I went through with my aniki" Naruto said. Sasuke was now becoming enraged at Naruto for not fighting him not waiting another minute he threw a couple of kunai at Naruto who dodged them easily.
"Alright if you're going to act like a rotten spoiled little child throwing a tantrum when he doesn't get what he wants then allow me to give you the beat down that is severely deserved by you" Naruto said as he released he resistance seals and getting into his Family Taijutsu stance.
Sasuke came at him in frustration "You'll pay for that Dobe" he went to get him with a right hook which Naruto dodge easily, Naruto then feinted right but hit him with a left uppercut from there he sent Sasuke flying with a roundhouse kick to the side of his head.
Coming out of his stupor Sasuke flipped in midair and landed on his feet. He then went through some hand seals that ended with the Tora (tiger) seal meaning he was going for a Katon jutsu.
"Katon: Gokakyu no jutsu [Fire release: Great Fireball jutsu]" Sasuke shouted blowing a huge fireball out of his mouth and sent it towards Naruto who was also going through his own hand seals
"Suiton: Teppōdama [Water Release: Gunshot]" Naruto said shooting out a large ball of water from his mouth towards the huge fireball and from the collision of jutsu steam engulfed the area as the water bullet extinguished the fireball. Then going through some more hand seals and ending with the Inu seal
"Fūton: Daitoppa [Wind release: Great breakthrough]" Naruto said unleashing a gale force wind from his mouth as he blew the steam and Sasuke away, Sasuke hitting a tree.
Then Naruto made the seals Ram Ox boar and finally snake.
"Mokuton: Shichūrō no jutsu [Wood release: Four pillar prison jutsu]" Naruto said using his Kekkei Genkai to create a large enough wooden cage to hold Sasuke in until ANBU arrived no doubt soon after the chakra spikes from their little 'spar'. He placed a chakra suppression seal on the cage to keep Sasuke from using his chakra to escape which would be hard as the wood was as strong as steel thanks to the Mokuton Bloodline.
"Naruto what happened here and why is Uchiha Sasuke in a wooden cage" Minato asked
"Well I was walking home after meeting up with some of my friends after Fūinjutsu lessons with kā-chan, I just turned down this street towards home when I was confronted by Uchiha-san and he demanded that I fight him, as he wanted to gauge his strength against mine I guess, however I refused as I didn't want to fight as I had no reason or motive to and I just wanted to go home to rest. Not liking he wasn't getting his way, he resorted to name calling, when that didn't work he then resorted to attacking me when my back was turned, we then fought using taijutsu with him resorting to using the Gokakyu no jutsu which I deflected with a Suiton: Teppōdama and a Fūton: Daitoppa then when he was knocked out I imprisoned him with the Mokuton: Shichūrō no jutsu that Yamato-sensei taught me" Naruto said reporting everything exactly like it happened
"Okay, good job keeping the Damage to a minimum Naruto, now get on home as your Okā-san is getting the dinner ready and she'll need your help okay" Minato said smiling at his youngest son.
"Hai Tou-san" Naruto said as he bowed his head and rushed home after that.
"Well sensei what do you think of that" Kakashi asked
"He is definitely Chuunin material, he showed tactics and restraint when handling that situation" Minato said proud at his son's battle method, which had change from a brawler style when he was younger to a more savvy fighter who waits for the opportune moment to strike. "Anyway Anbu bring Uchiha-san home, Kakashi follow them and keep an eye on him, I need to get home before my wife kills me"
Kakashi and the Anbu which included Yamato who was Captain, all shuddered feeling sympathy for their hokage as they knew what his wife was like. Yamato dispelled the mokuton jutsu and they brought Sasuke home. Minato then headed home catching up with Naruto who told his dad of his day.
-With Arashi, Tayuya and Hikari-
The three young adults were currently out in the backyard of the Senju compound going to check on their fox companions in the small clinic Naruto had made for his older sister with the Four Pillar House Jutsu it contained everything Hikari needed to take care of the foxes that have joined the family. Currently they were going to check on Tayuya's partner Senritsu who fell ill before they went on their last mission.
"Okay so you know the way Senritsu wasn't feeling well before you went on your mission Tayuya" Hikari asked as they walked into the kennels.
"Yeah, is everything okay with her, she's not sick is she?" Tayuya asked starting to get worried for her fox partner.
"Everything's fine, and I have some good news for you" Hikari said as they got to Senritsu who was in a nice wicker basket bed with Kurokaze sleeping beside her on the floor.
"Senritsu is with kits" Hikari said with a beaming smile. Tayuya and Arashi had smiles on their faces
"That's awesome" they exclaimed, this had the effect of wakening Kurokaze and Senritsu up. The Fox and vixen looked at their owners and smiled
`Welcome back you two, hope we didn't miss much` Kurokaze said
"No buddy you didn't miss much" Arashi said smirking a bit. "I believe congratulations are in order"
`Yes I believe for the both of us` Kurokaze smirked back, Arashi's smirk grew bigger and Tayuya had a tinge of pink on her cheeks but she had just a big a smirk. Arashi and Tayuya then spent some time relaying the mission details to their fox partners, after a while the two bid farewell to the foxes and headed back inside the house.
-Back inside the house-
Naruto and Karin where helping Kushina and Shizune prepare dinner. Tonight Kushina was preparing a lovely roast chicken with mash potatoes and a selection of vegetables such as carrots and peas with a nice gravy sauce. Minato and Jiraiya were in the sitting room drooling at the smell of dinner wafting into the room, the two found it hard to concentrate on anything they were doing, Jiraiya was trying to finish up the manuscript to his next book which was surprisingly not as smutty as the last one. Since finding out he had grandchildren especially a granddaughter that was exactly like Tsunade and Kushina, so when he beloved little granddaughter found out what it was that was in his books let's just say that he promised her after one hell of beating and the cutest puppy dog eye no jutsu, that he wouldn't write anymore smut, so he had been trying to write the next Icha Icha with more plot than smut. Minato was trying to read his new book but the two men were finding it hard to do anything at the moment.
Arashi, Tayuya and Hikari came into the sitting room, and sat down on the couch with Arashi and Tayuya quickly starting to drool along with the two men.
"Shit that smells good" Tayuya. The three men in the room just grunted in agreement.
Just then Tsunade walks in after taking Hitomi with her to visit her old sensei. The old man was happy to hear Tsunade and Jiraiya reunited with their Children, and he was happy to hear they were finally resolving their relationship issues and coming around to finally admitting that both she and Jiraiya had feelings for one another.
Anyway after a couple more minutes of tortu… I mean waiting for dinner Kushina and Shizune called them for dinner and there was flashes of white, yellow and red. Once inside they all started eating of course they all told how their day was and Arashi and Tayuya told Naruto and Karin about their mission. They also told them to meet them with Ino tomorrow for a team meeting. After dinner Naruto and Karin went to tell Ino about the team meeting and they also hung out for a while.
-That night-
That night while everyone was asleep, Arashi headed out to the backyard to a cave he managed to find quite some time ago, using seals he turned the small cave into a place where he could play his music without disturbing people, he place a sound barrier, stopping the sound exiting the cave and also he used another but tweaked it so that it stopped the echo in the cave so he didn't get reverb unless he wanted it that way. He also put wood paneling on the walls and squared it off so it was a little more professional looking not that he cared. He had set up a few of his instruments he collected as well as created over the years he had lived. He had violins, mandolins and all sorts of stringed instruments, drums, and a few guitars but also something he created himself as they didn't have them in the ninja world, was the Electric Guitar, as well as the electric Bass guitar. He also created amplifiers and other gizmos to produce the sound of the guitars so he can increase the volume of them.
He wanted to work on a song he was working on for the longest time now but he couldn't figure out what it needed. He already had the lyrics written and the music for the most part was done and for a while he thought it was finished until he had him and his clones play all the parts together. However one of the instrument's parts didn't sound right, and he didn't know what to replace it with, he tried all of his instruments but none of them fit the part that was until he heard it. Just before he got to the entrance he heard the sweetest music he had ever heard, it was a flute song that was both saddening and beautiful [she's playing Lugia's song from the second movie], he turned around to find Tayuya sitting on top of the house playing her flute.
Tayuya herself came out to get some practice in with her new flute. And as soon as she started playing she knew the flute was amazing, it was so light and beautiful and it felt right in her hands, and the sound it produces was simply amazing. As she was finishing she felt someone approaching and turned to see her mate look at her with amazement in his eyes, blushing profusely she stopped playing.
"Wow, just wow, Tayuya that was absolutely beautiful, you're amazing" he said finally finding words to describe exactly what he was thinking at that moment. Tayuya's blush was reaching atomic levels at this stage to her praise at her playing, the last people to compliment her playing was her parents.
"T-thanks Rashi-koi" she said
"How long have you been playing" Arashi asked
"Since I was five," she answered.
"Like I said you're amazing Akahime" Arashi said smiling warmly at his beloved.
"Thanks, by the way, what are you doing out here at this time of night?" Tayuya asked
"Same as you, I've been trying to get this song to work that I have been working on for some time now but I just can't find the right piece but I think I found it" Arashi said
"Oh really?" Tayuya said
"Well that is if you don't mind playing with me?" Arashi asked
"Sure, I think it could be fun" Tayuya answered smiling, she had always wanted to play music with someone for a while and she remembered that Arashi had said he played music back at their team introductions.
"Awesome, come with me I'll show ya what I have been working on" he said as he started walking towards his studio.
When they got their Tayuya was amazed at his studio she was also curious to what some of the strange instruments where. Seeing the look on his mate's face Arashi was quick to educate her.
"Those are my own invention, I call them the Electric guitar they are connected to an amplifier to produce the sound and the amplifiers can be modified to change the sound of the guitar," Arashi said.
"Oh that's kinda of cool" Tayuya said amazed at the craftsmanship on the instruments. She especially liked the black guitar that had a v-shaped body and wedge-shaped headstock. The first fret had an 8-ball detailed pearl inlay [ESP DV-8 picture of one on my profile however mine is an LTD the cheaper version], in fact all of the guitars had the 8-ball on them, 'Huh I guess that must be his personal touch to them, well he always did seem to have great luck when we played poker with the others' Tayuya thought.
"Alright well let's get jamming then" Arashi said as he created a number of shadow clones to play all the parts he needed for the song.
"Okay Tayuya when I give you the signal which will be a simple nod of the head I need you to start playing this" he said handing her some sheet music.
"Okay guys ready 3…2….1 and go" as Arashi and his clones started playing

Arashi starts playing a clean guitar strumming away and after 13 seconds in, he signals Tayuya who starts playing a lovely tune on her flute. The two play along for another 40 seconds. When Arashi starts Singing.

When she gets there she knows, if the stores are all closed

At this point Tayuya stops her part being finished, and Arashi adds a flanger effect to the guitar and switches between the two.

The Arashi clone on the drums begins playing

After a bit of strumming Arashi goes into a distorted guitar solo for 44 second solo.

To be a rock and not to roll.
Again, Arashi goes into a more melancholic solo to finish off the song

Finishing off the song Arashi calms himself as he reacquaints himself with the real world to find the gaping stare of Tayuya
"Wow, that song was amazing, absolutely fucking amazing, and the way you were playing that guitar was simply beautiful, how did you come up with the idea for that" Tayuya asked.
"Well to be honest It was when I turned fifteen and started playing guitar when I thought it could do with some bigger and meaner sound so I made up sound plans and this was the outcome, but this was more of a mellow sound with a hint of fantasy, I was going through a bit of a mellowed-out phase, and I have plenty of other ideas for more songs" Arashi said
"Cool, any chance you can teach me how to play guitar or bass" Tayuya asked wanted
"Sure I see no problem with that" Arashi said "and thanks with that you played your part beautifully it was exactly what the song needed" Arashi said hugging his mate close and kissed her on the cheek
"S-seriously" Tayuya stammered
"Of course, I was trying all sorts of instruments but I don't play wind instruments so I didn't think of that" Arashi said "you know it be cool to write a song together you know" he added smiling warmly at her.
"Yeah that would be awesome" she said returning the smile. "Now I believe it is time we retire for the night Rashi as we have a team meeting to be up for tomorrow and it wouldn't becoming of us to be late like a certain scarecrow now would it" she said smirking
"Of course dear, it would be most unwise" Arashi replied with a smirk of his own "so let's go then" he then turned everything off and picked her up bridal style and flashed out of the studio and into their room. Disrobing quickly they both got into bed and fell asleep cuddling each other tightly.
-Next morning at training field 6-
Narutoand Karin were busy training with their fox partners, unlike the Inuzuka ninken which help out their masters in combat and tracking, the Senju ninkitsune not only help with tracking but there are four types of Kitsune, Kurokaze and Keitaro, Naruto and Arashi's partners both can do Ninjutsu as well as genjutsu in fact all of the Kitsune can do genjutsu seeing as Kitsune were known to be masters of illusions. Senritsu was genjutsu only to help Tayuya with her genjutsu. The last two vixens knew med-ninjutsu, were they could help out their partners in the battlefield when it calls for it. Ino was sitting by a tree reading up on some Medical Scrolls
As they were finishing up Arashi and Tayuya appeared in a brilliant flash of yellow with a mix of red.
"Ohayu guys" Arashi and Tayuya greeted
"Ohayu sensei" came the reply
"Hey aniki where's Kurokaze and Senritsu" Naruto asked noticing his older brother and sister-in-law
"Yeah Arashi-sensei, we haven't seen them for ages" Karin and Ino added
"Well shrimps, it appears that Senritsu is with kits so she and Kurokaze will be off duty for a while as Hikari wants to make sure everything goes as it should as this will be the first of kits born into the clan since we added our partners into the clan so yeah" Arashi said rubbing the back of his neck.
"That's great" the three said however Naruto huffed when he remembered the shrimp part
"So aniki why did you all for a meeting today" Naruto asked
"Good question otōto, well as you may know the Chuunin exams start in two days and we called you here to tell you that Tayuya and I have nominated you guys to take part, all you have to do is sign these forms and report to room 301 at the academy."
"Alright you're the best aniki" Naruto said jumping gleefully as the two girls high fived. For the rest of the day the team trained for the upcoming exams, Arashi and Tayuya had them go over everything with them making sure they were ready for the exams. They did the same thing the following day.
-On the day of the Exam-
Currently we find Team 6 heading for the academy. As they reached the second floor they saw that everyone was in front of what appeared to be Room 301 however that wasn't the case.
"Psst Naruto, this hallway is under a genjutsu" Karin whispered to her cousin.
"Good job Karin okay guys let's continue on and let these guys continue to believe in this illusion" Naruto whispered to his team getting nods in confirmation. As they were making their way to the stairs they heard an arrogant voice call out
"Alright losers take down that pitiful genjutsu and move out of the way" the ever so arrogant Uchiha called out "My teammate here noticed it as soon as we walked in, didn't you Sakura"
"Uh... Well Yeah your right Sasuke-kun it's such a weak genjutsu even Sai-baka here noticed it, so do as Sasuke-kun said and take it down"
"Ugh idiots" Naruto said as he and his team continued as they reached the third floor they couldn't help but hear the Banshee scream about green weirdoes cheating and hurting her Sasuke-kun. Coming up to room 301 team 6 where met with Arashi and Tayuya both having victorious smirks on their faces
"Well done team, good job on making it here together cause as you know you wouldn't be able to take the exam on your own but with your team" Arashi said "alright you guys go in there and show them what team 6 is made of"
"YOSH" came the three replies, as they headed into the room.
-Inside the room-
When Team six entered they noticed it was packed. It was packed there was three teams from Iwa, two teams from Kumogakure, a team from Amegakure and two teams from Kiri. They were the first team there from konoha , but that changed as Team, 7, 8 and 10 along with the team from the year ahead of them team 9.
"Hey look at this, the rookie 9 reunited at the Chuunin exams" Kiba shouted
"K-kiba-kun m-maybe y-you s-shouldn't b-be s-so l-loud" Hinata stuttered shyly
"Oops sorry about that Hinata-chan" Kiba said rubbing the back of his neck.
"Hey Kiba, what's up" Naruto said spotting his Inuzuka friend
"Yo Naruto, so your older brother nominated you guys" Kiba said
"Yeah, aniki and Tayuya-sensei have been running us into the ground, and when they went off on a mission tou-chan and kā-chan picked up the slack. Best part though is I finally mastered tou-chan Hiraishin" Naruto said smirking
"Sweet, well we haven't slacked off either have we? Akamaru" Kiba said with the little puppy on his head barking in confirmation.
The rookie nine continued talking amongst themselves until a guy with silver hair and a grey outfit. As he got closer all three foxes started growling. Naruto asked Keitaro what was wrong and Keitaro replied with the fact that the guy reeked of snakes. The guy introduced himself as Kabuto Yakushi and said he wanted to help his fellow leaf ninja so he showed the rookies his 'ninfo' cards. And Sasuke had asked for information on Gaara, Rock Lee and Naruto. [Lee and Gaara's info is the same as canon]
"okay last but not least Naruto Uzumaki-Senju, wow says here that he is the third child of Minato and Kushina Uzumaki-Senju, the Kiiroi Senkō and The Akai chishio no Habanero. And his grandparents are Tsunade Senju and Jiraiya of the Densetsu no Sannin. He holds the legendary Mokuton Kekkei Genkai. His sensei is His older brother Arashi Uzumaki-Senju and Tayuya Tatsumaki. He has completed 20 D-ranks and 2 C-rank missions" Kabuto read off the card
'Huh better tell tou-chan we might have a spy, I'm pretty sure genin aren't allowed access to mission data like that' Naruto thought. Everyone save his teammates oohed and ahhed at this information. Kabuto then told about the different villages that were taking part in the exam, however when he mentioned how small a new village called Otogakure [Village hidden in the sound or hidden sound village] he was attacked by three ninjas from said village. This was when the proctor for the First stage of the Exams entered the room
"ALRIGHT MAGGOTS KNOCK IT OFF, no more fighting during MY test or you will be thrown out on your asses faster than you can say 'will of fire', my name is Morino Ibiki," Ibiki said as he told them the rules of the first exam [it's the same as normal except of course Naruto ain't going to panic as he has Keitaro to help get him the answers like Kiba has Akamaru]. With 5 minutes left Ibiki announced the last Question.
"alright Maggots time for the Tenth question however before I tell you it, I need to ask you if you want to take it or not, but know this if you quit now you can always take the next exams in six months' time, however if you take the question and fail to answer it you are failed immediately and cannot take the chuunin exams EVER AGAIN" Ibiki told them.
"What that's not fair, Kabuto here took the exams seven times already," Kiba said pointing towards said silvered haired teen.
"Yeah well that's because he never had me for a proctor, this is MY exams and MY rules" Ibiki said "Don't like there's the door" he finished gesturing towards the door. After five minutes half the teams had left with only 27 teams remaining.
"Alright then, anyone else want to quit, remember if you fail the tenth question you risk remaining a genin forever" Ibiki said.
"JUST GET ON WITH IT, you don't scare me with your tactics, I don't care if I remain a genin or not cause I WILL be Hokage and I will surpass my Tou-chan, Cause I'm Naruto Uzumaki-Senju so give up on making me give up Dattebayo" Naruto shouted much like his motor-mouthed mother making her proud.
'Heh kid's just like his mother, hokage-sama told me he might pull something like this, natural born-leader this one, he just gave the rest of them their guts back' Ibiki thought. "Alright then, for those of you left, you…. PASS" he shouted. '3. 2. 1'
"NANI" the whole room shouted
"What about the tenth question" Temari asked, even though she was a genin she looked about Arashi's age.
"If you wanted to take the tenth question was the tenth question, you see as chuunin you will be asked to take missions by your Kage without any intel on it whatsoever, this was an example of what you will be expecting as a chuunin" surprisingly enough it wasn't Ibiki who answered it but Naruto
"Your old man told you as much did he" Ibiki asked
"Yup, it also helped that kā-chan and Onee-chan were supervising my academic studies during the last year of the academy" Naruto said rubbing the back of his neck while chuckling nervously. Suddenly something crashed through the window. It turned out to be a banner that got hung by two kunai embedding themselves into opposite corners of the room. The banner read 'Introducing the proctor of the second exam the incredibly sexy and single Anko Mitarashi'
"ALRIGHT MAGGOTS, I'm your proctor for the second exam" Anko said with her usual grin.
"You're early Anko" Ibiki deadpanned walking through the banner as he was pushed behind it, Anko just chuckled while rubbing the back of her neck but then she saw the amount of teams left.
"Hey Ibiki what gives there's 27 teams left, meh no matter I'll have that number more than halved when I'm through with them." Anko said giving her predatory smirk again. "ALRIGHT MAGGOTS meet me at training ground 44 in 15 minutes or you'll be disqualified" and with that she jumped through another window with Ibiki sighing at her behavior
"See you again, Ibiki-san" Naruto said jumping out the window Anko jumped through, with Keitaro and the girls behind him.
"Ugh I swear you can't be a famous or powerful ninja without having something crazy about you" Ibiki said as he was picking up the tests "then again I'm one to talk" he then came across Naruto's, he had finished it with all correct answers however on the back of the last page was 'Ibiki-san tell tou-chan that Kabuto Yakushi might be a spy for orochimaru, Keitaro said Kabuto reeked of snakes'
'Well better tell hokage-sama then' Ibiki thought as he exited the room.
-At training ground 44-
As the group of chuunin-hopefuls gathered round the entrance to training Ground 44 Anko was finishing off her last stick of dango, taking the stick she threw it like a senbon at a tree, completing the leaf symbol she had made out of her dango sticks.
"Okay boys and girls welcome to Training ground 44 a.k.a. the forest of death or as I like to call it, my home away from home" she said with her patented smirk.
"Hn, doesn't look all that special to me" Sasuke said as arrogantly as usual. Everyone but team 6 and Sakura tensed as Sasuke's cheek was grazed by a kunai, Sakura just screeched 'Sasuke-kun'
Anko appeared behind Sasuke and licked his cheek. "You know it's the arrogant ones like you that end up having their delicious blood spilt all over the forest" she said and had to cover her ears as Sakura screeched to get off her Sasuke-kun.
Anko then went on to explain the test after she was handed her kunai back by a kusa Kunoichi with an abnormally long tongue. Basically the teams had to get a pair of scrolls one earth and one heaven and were to bring them to the tower in the center of the forest. All the teams went into a tent to get their scroll after signing a waver saying the village wasn't responsible for their deaths. When team 6 went in they got an earth scrolland upon exiting went to gate 6 to await the start of the exam.
"ALRIGHT MAGGOTS WHEN I BLOW THE HORN THAT MARKS THE START OF THE TEST" Anko said
"READY" "GO"
The horn blared signaling the start of the test as the teams burst into the forest.
"Okay guys let's try to find a team to get a heaven scroll and get to the tower as fast as we can while looking out for ambushes, Karin are there any teams nearby" Naruto said
"Hai, Naruto we actually have a team incoming from the south-west" Karin said as she got ready for the inevitable confrontation. Naruto and Ino also got ready for battle with all three foxes growling telling that the opposing team were close. All of sudden team 7 burst out of the bushes battle ready and glaring at team 6
"Alright Dobe, just hand over your scroll and we won't beat you up" Sasuke said arrogantly with a smirk on his face
"Yeah BAKA just give Sasuke-kun your scroll you don't deserve it" Sakura screeched at Naruto.
"Sorry but no can do Uchiha, and last time I checked I kicked your ass when you tried attacking me behind my back" Naruto said with a smirk of his own
"That's it dobe you're mine" Sasuke shouted before attacking Naruto, again.
However Naruto dodged him and then countered by kneeing him in the gut, Sasuke fell to his knee before getting back up and aiming a great fireball at Naruto who countered with a water gunshot, meanwhile Sakura and Sai attacked Ino and Karin respectively.
The fight between Sakura and Ino was short as Sakura was, to be honest, pathetic, sure she was one of the smartest girls in the academy but then again that was worth nothing in the real world if she wasn't convicted in training herself properly, which she wasn't, she would rather fawn over Sasuke and cheer him on all day, whereas Ino after she copped onto herself and trained, her father trained her in her clan's jutsu and Arashi and Tayuya made sure her taijutsu was up to spec, so it wasn't a surprise when she completely trashed Sakura.
Sai and Karin was a different story, it looked like Sai had the upper hand at first but Karin and Kaori managed to turn the tides when they started using Genjutsu against him. After a while Karin managed to knock Sai out with a genjutsu that put him straight to sleep.
Now things were really starting to heat up between the Uchiha and Senju as Naruto tried ensnaring Sasuke with the vine entrapment technique. However Sasuke managed to escaped by using his kunai he then fired of a Katon: Hōsenka no jutsu [Fire Release: Phoenix Sage Fire jutsu] which launched a series of fire balls at Naruto with shuriken hidden in the flames. However Naruto countered with a Doton: Doryūheki [Earth Release: Earth-style Wall] which made a wall pop out of the ground in front of Naruto blocking the fireballs from going any further. Sasuke then looked around for Naruto when the dust cleared showing that he wasn't behind the wall, 'where could that dobe be,'
"Doton: Shinjū Zanshu no jutsu [Earth Release: Double Suicide Decapitation Technique]" Naruto said dragging the Uchiha into the ground up to his neck. While doing so Naruto managed to check Sasuke for team 7's scroll which he found and to his luck was a heaven scroll the one he needed for to complete the test. Taking it he went topside and nodded to his teammates.
"Okay guys we got the scrolls we need let's double time to the Tower ASAP" Naruto said and with that team 6 regrouped and headed towards the center of the forest with the help of their fox partners. They only stopped when it got late and they needed to make camp for the night.
-Meanwhile with the Senju Family-
Back at the compound was two proud parents, however Kushina Uzumaki-Senju was very worried for her youngest son, she knows what's in that forest and she doesn't like how her little 'Naru-chan' had to stay in it for five days.
"Oh Mina-kun what if something happens to him" she whined to her husband.
"Now, now Kushi-chan, Naruto will be fine, we trained him properly and so did his brother and sister and Tayuya, also I managed to get Otō-san to train him for the month between the second and third stages. So trust me dear he will be fine" Minato said
"Minato's right Kushina Naruto is fine, he is smart like his father and every bit stubborn like his mother, anyway I have a thousand ryō on his team making it to the tower three days early," Tsunade said with a shit eating grin on her
"Only a thousand hime I have three thousand he gets there halfway through the second day with three pairs of scrolls" Jiraiya said with an even bigger grin on his face.
Both Minato and Kushina sweat dropped at their parent's escapades, their attention was torn away from the Sannin when they saw Arashi and a sickly looking Tayuya walking down the stairs, it was Kushina who noticed her paleness first.
"Hello you two" she said with a smile "Tayuya are you okay, you seem a little under the weather"
"Yeah I'm okay, I just seem to be a little queasy today" Tayuya replied, Tsunade perked up at this, her medic instincts kicking in.
"Oh and how long have you been experiencing these symptoms?" Tsunade asked looking over the girl. "Have you been able to keep food down for long?" Tayuya nodded her head to this,
"When was the last time you had your period" Tsunade asked, Tayuya blushed at this
"Whoa, Bā-chan a little much don't you think?" Arashi asked not liking where this was going
"Well Arashi-kun if I am to diagnose properly what is wrong with Tayuya I need to know exactly what I'm looking for." Tsunade told her grandson. "Now Tayuya if you could answer the question so I know what to look for with the diagnosis jutsu" Tsunade asked again.
"Well I haven't had in over a month now why?" Tayuya asked. She didn't get an answer from Tsunade as she used the diagnosis jutsu as her hands went over Tayuya's midsection bathed in green light. When Tsunade was finished she stood up and looked away from them as now Kushina and Minato was interested as they went through the same thing about thirteen years ago. It was then a couple of minutes before Tsunade turned around with a warm smile on her face.
"Congratulations Tayuya, you're pregnant" she said. Tayuya and Arashi had looks on them like deer caught in headlights.
Kushina then squealed about grandbabies with Tsunade, whereas Arashi got pats on the back from Jiraiya and Minato. It took a while for the news to finally set into their minds but when it did the two newly made parents couldn't help but shed happy tears "I'm pregnant, I'm going to be a mother" Tayuya couldn't help but jump for joy and embrace Arashi in a tight embrace with him muttering "I'm going to be a father"
'Congratulations Arashi you deserve this chance at a family' Masamune said from the seal, Arashi truly deserved this for what he did in his past world. 'Thanks Masamune will Tayuya's seal be effected though, like kā-chan's ' 'no it shouldn't considering she won't try to get out however you will get whiskered babies though' 'Meh least of my worries as long as the kid is healthy, then I don't mind'
The family then celebrated for a while before going to bed, Arashi and Tayuya having some celebrations of their own. The next day Arashi went to the tower to get ready to be summoned by his team when they got to the tower.
And done for now, sorry it has been awhile but some shit happened and i had to deal with. But that's beside the point.
Alright I should have the next chapter out sometime after Christmas, I also plan on a Christmas special so I'll get to work on that ASAP.
