Hello everyone! I am happy to say that I finally got this up here for you all. I am very sorry that it took so long, but I wanna thank all of you for hanging in there. This is not the super long update that I promised, but I promise the next one will be. Hopefully that one will get posted by next Wednesday. After that I'm going to work on getting updates back up every couple days. Thank you guys so much for the reviews while I was gone. I love you guys so much!

The next place I think to look is Christina's. We decide to split up: Zeke and I go to Christina's and Caleb searches around the chasm. When we get to Christina's, we see Uriah sitting outside her door. His head is down, but I can see the gleam of not-yet-dry tears on his cheeks.

"Do you guys know where Christina is?" he snatches his head up.

"No, we actually were coming to see if she was here," I answer.

"What's up little bro?" Zeke questions looking confused.

"I made a huge mistake," he says hanging his head again.

"Well if she's not here, then she must be with Tris," I say.

"So now there are two missing girls," Zeke sighs.

"Missing!?" Uriah yells. "What do you mean missing?"

"When I woke up this morning, Tris was nowhere to be found and I haven't been able to find her. I don't remember what happened last night at all. I hope no one hurt her."

We all stand there quietly for a minute.

"Where could she have gone?" Uriah asks.

"If I had to guess," Zeke says, "she came here and that's why Christina isn't here."

"We have to find them," Uriah and I say simultaneously.

I turn around quickly and run right into Caleb.

"Any luck?" I ask as I steady him on his feet.

"No, how about you?"

"No," I shake my head, "and now we can't find Christina either."

"I'll go check all of the shops, you guys check all of the hallways. They've got to be around here somewhere," Caleb says hurriedly.

"Watch out, man," Uriah says. "Your Erudite is showing. You might want to cover that up, it's indecent."

Caleb's eyes narrow and he opens his mouth to say something. He quickly changes his mind and his mouth closes as quickly as it opened. He turns around and heads toward the Pit. Zeke is still laughing hysterically, but I ignore all of them. I have to find Tris.

"Guys, let's go," I say impatiently. "This is serious."

They both straighten up quickly. I imagine that I'm wearing the Four mask, but I don't care. I'll do whatever it takes to find her, and if that means intimidating my friends, then so be it. We split up and weave through all of the hallways on this side of the compound. We intersect each other at times and give updates. Next, we make our way to the other side of the compound and continue our strategy. Once we finished all of the hallways, we met up at the edge of the Pit.

"Still no luck," Zeke sighs.

"Where could they have..." I stop short.

Zeke and Uriah follow my gaze, their eyes questioning my sudden distraction. Their eyes grow wide as Christina and Tris saunter by us without so much as a second glance. There are shopping bags in their hands of all different colors and shapes. I look at the two stunned brothers beside me and feel my face turn red. I feel my muscles tensing, my jaw clenching, my blood pressure rising, and my Four mask coming into place.

"Shopping," Zeke mumbles throwing his hands in the air.

He turns and stomps off towards his apartment, mumbling angrily to himself.

"Christina!" Uriah calls, running over and grabbing her by the arm.

"What do you want?" she hisses in response.

She tries to pull away but his grasp is too firm for her to overcome. She looks at Tris to help her, but she just moves out of the way. Christina gasps a little, but willingly goes with Uriah as he pulls her down the pathway. Tris watches as they go and then her attention turns to me.

"Where have you been!?" I yell, reaching out to grab her hand. "I've been looking for you all day. You left without saying anything this morning."

"Really?" her grey eyes darken and her cheeks flush. "Don't act like nothing happened, Tobias."

"What are you talking about?"

"You've got to be kidding me," she rolls her eyes and her nostrils flare. "You are not stupid, Tobias Eaton. Don't try to act like it now."

"I'm so confused," I say leaning against a wall. "What happened?"

"You really don't remember?" she huffs. "Which part is escaping your memory? The way you were acting with Nita? Being so drunk it took you 20 minutes to make it inside the apartment? Admitting that Nita is your girlfriend? Or is it the part where you punched a hole in our wall because you missed my face?"

"WHAT!?" I yell, the anger that I felt earlier returning with a vengeance. "Nita was the one that kept talking to me. Yeah, I had a little too much to drink, but so did everyone else. As far as this nonsense about Nita being my girlfriend, I'm tired of hearing about it, Tris. Stop being so jealous of her."

"Jealous? You think I'm just jealous? You told me last night that she's your girlfriend. I'm not making it up. Just like I wasn't making up what I thought about her before. You thought I was just being jealous then, too, but I was right and you know it."

"Whatever, I'm not going to keep doing this," I roll my eyes.

"Oh, so you're just going to pretend that I don't know? You're just going to pretend that you weren't acting like Marcus last night?"

"I SAID ENOUGH, TRIS!" I yell at her.

I can ignore her being irrational about Nita. But I will not, nor can I ignore her accusing me of being like Marcus. I grab her arm and pull her closer to me, our faces nearly touching, our eyes as cold as ice.

"I will NEVER be like Marcus," I mutter through gritted teeth.

"Too late," she hisses back. "You should have thought about that before you tried to hit me."

She pulls away from me and runs down the pathway in the direction of our apartment. What did she just say? Before I tried to hit her? Her words cut through me in a way I've never felt before. My heart is pounding and I can feel my blood pulsing in my veins. I take a step forward, but my legs fail me. I stumble and manage to grab the wall so I don't hit the floor. The memories from last night come flooding back: Nita, Peter, the walk to our apartment, the fight, her running away from me, the swinging of my fist, the sting of connecting with the wall, the look in her eyes. I can no longer feel my limbs. I slide down the wall and hit the floor hard, but I don't feel a thing. The world is spinning around me and my vision seems blurry. Did I really try to hit her?

When I make it back to our apartment, I enter quietly. Everything in the room is as it was when I left it, but the light in the bedroom is on. I walk towards the doorway slowly, unsure of in what state I would find her. Sitting on the bed with her back facing me, Tris sits with her arms and legs folded. She doesn't say anything, but I know that she knows that I'm here. I stand there for a moment, unsure of what to say to her.
