Little did Pixal know, Cynder was watching her.

"Just what is little Ms. Pixie up to?" Cynder asked as she watched Pixal's every movement.

"Cryptor, they are far from weak. And none of them have let their guards down. But they are tired. We have moved to a new base, they knew you guys found this one." Pixal was leading them to the new one.

"We'll have to be more careful then. Anything else?" Asked Cryptor.

"Cynder will not be going home anytime soon, she likes it here better than in Pagama. She most likely will not let her guard down." Pixal sighed.

"Then we need you to hurt her, weaken her. Do we have anything else we must know?" Cryptor smirked.

"No…Nothing else, other than the ninjas are exhausted. That is the only thing." Pixal said.

Cynder frowned and teleported back to their new base. She ran into the ninjas' room.

"Zane, pookipsie!" Cynder yelped, as she shook him.

"What?" Zane groggily said, turning to look at her.

"Pookipsie!" Cynder screamed.

"Pookipsie?!" Zane bolted up.

"Yes!" Cynder said, trying to calm down.

"Okay, what's the situation?!" Zane demanded, as he got up.

"Pixal's a spy, she's leading them here right now!" Cynder grabbed Zane's hand and ran off. Zane ran to keep pace.

The two snuck outside.

"See?" Cynder whispered. Zane's eyes filled with shock at what stood before him.

"No…She couldn't be!" Zane had tears in his eyes.

"Just listen." Cynder mumbled.

"Here we are. Just as I promised." Pixal looked towards Cryptor.

"Keep up the good work, Pixal. And remember what I said." Cryptor began to walk off.

"Yes sir." Pixal sighed, and walked back inside.

"There has to be a reason!" Zane looked at Cynder.

"If there is, I don't know it. Now come on, let's get inside." Cynder got up and started walking inside.

"I don't want to." Zane mumbled. Cynder gave Zane 'the look'.

"I said, come on." Cynder said, coldly. Zane bolted onto his feet. The two walked back inside, in silence.

Cynder relaxed backwards as she played a video game on her laptop.

"What are you doing up at midnight?" Asked Pixal, nervous. Cynder noticed the USB in Pixal's hands.

"What's with the USB?" Asked Cynder.

"I asked you first." Pixal dully said.

"I'm not tired." Cynder said, looking at her.

"This is a USB." Pixal said.

"I said what's with it, not what is it." Cynder snapped, snagging the USB from her.

"What are you doing!?" Pixal yelped. Cynder plugged the USB into her laptop. Her laptop glitched out and shut down.

"I had a feeling this had a virus on it." Cynder took the USB out.

"Why would you do that?!" Pixal yelped.

"This isn't my special laptop. This is just my gaming one, I can get a new one." Cynder frowned, getting up.

"I asked why-" Pixal began.

"Because, you were heading to the ninjas' room. Going to corrupt Zane are you?" Cynder frowned. Pixal shook her head, nervously.

"Here is some karma." Cynder knocked Pixal off her feet. She pinned Pixal to the ground and growled much like a dog would.

"What are you going to do?" Whimpered Pixal. Cynder broke the USB and used her magic to melt in over Pixal face.

"That." Cynder got up, snickering.

"Ew." Pixal wiped her face off.

"I'll keep this one between us, okay Pixie? Do it again, and I'll plug it into you, understand?" Cynder growled, frowning.

"Yes!" Pixal nodded, frightened.

"Good." Cynder sighed.

"Would you like help with your computer?" Pixal asked.

"I'm going to take it to Veo, in the morning." Cynder closed her laptop and teleported it off.

"Where did it go?" Asked Pixal.

"In a special container that says 'Touch it and I'll kill you' on it. It's so just in case the virus makes it freak out, it won't hurt anyone." Cynder said, walking off.

"Where are you going?" Pixal followed behind her.

"I'm getting away from you, you back stabbing bitch." Cynder said, bitterly.

"I am sorry, I did not want to hurt him!" Pixal was on the verge of tears.

"But you were ordered to, by Cryptor. Even though I hate you, I expect so much better out of you." Cynder turned and gave Pixal a look. Pixal looked away.

"I am sorry, so very sorry." Pixal began crying.

"Sorry is a word, Pixal that cannot undo anything. Be glad I stopped you before you got too far. If you are looking for sympathy, you will get none from me." Cynder began to walk away, leaving Pixal to cry alone in the hall way.

The next morning was relatively normal. Cynder was holding her laptop as she walked and played her game.

"I'm so glad Veo is good at removing viruses." Cynder said as she walked into the dining room, which was unusually quiet. Cynder look up, no one was there.

"Pixie?" Cynder said, looking around. She walked out of the room and placed her laptop on the desk she had been using last night.

"You were calling?" Pixal walked in.

"Where are the others?" Cynder asked, bitterly.

"I have no idea." Pixal shrugged. The two heard singing and bolted to the gaming room.

The six playing a Karaoke game.

"There's nothing you can do,

To keep it out.

There's nothing you can do,

Just scream and shout,

Saying,

I'm, so lucky lucky.

I'm, so lucky lucky.

I'm so lovely lovely.

I'm so lovely lovely." Nya sang.

"Really I'm so Lucky Lucky by Smile D.K?" Cynder muttered, walking away. Pixal walked after Cynder.

"Listen I am sorry for last night." Pixal said, looking away.

"I do not know what came over me." Pixal said.

"Don't worry about it, Pixie." Cynder rubbed her back.

"Are you okay?" Pixal tilted her head.

"My back really hurts that's all." Cynder said. Pixal frowned.

"I'll be right back." Pixal ran off and into her room.

"Their guards are down and Cynder is in pain, I have to tell Cryptor." Pixal muttered, sighing. She turned on her radio.

"Pookipsie." Pixal said, and turned it off.

Cynder groaned from the pain in her spine. A loud crashing noise from the game room, frightened her. She bolted into the room.

The others had been easily defeated thanks to their weapons being in another room.

"Get her!" Hissed Cryptor. Cynder gulped, she wanted to fight but was in too much pain. Cynder realized something.

"How dare you, Pixal! We trusted you! I trusted you!" Cynder hissed, loudly.

"I am sorry." Pixal stood in the door way, tears in her eyes. Cryptor smirked and flipped open a panel on his wrist.

"You will not care soon enough." Cryptor hit a button on his wrist and Pixal's eyes turned red.

Cynder was knocked off her feet and in chains before she knew it. She thrashed.

"You'll pay for this." Cynder hissed.

"Says the one in chains." Laughed Pixal, as she led Cynder along.

"I can't believe it…" Zane was shocked.

"I can." Cynder snorted, she tried to bite the chains. Pixal yanked harshly at the chain that was connected to the collar on her neck. Cynder whimpered.

They were all soon in cages, separate from each other. Cynder was the only one still with the chains on.

"I'll get her for this, I'll tear her to shreds!" Cynder hissed, thrashing in her chains.

Zane sat in a fetal position in the corner of his cell, crying.

"How was I so foolish?" He cried.

"Shut up! You aren't the one in chains!" Cynder yanked too hard at her shackles. The chains retracted into the wall. Cynder fell over and was soon upside down.

"Fuck." Cynder hissed. Zane looked over at her.

"You are right, I am not in chains…" Zane had tears dripping from his eyes. He got up and walked over to the wall in-between Cynder and his cell.

"Are you okay?" Zane asked, rubbing his eyes.

"I'm fine, other than the blood is rushing in to my head." Cynder grumbled.

Dareth walked into check on the students. Who were each trying to figure out what happened to the ninjas. Suddenly the projector turned on.

"Hello, Dareth, students." Pixal said.

"Uh…Hi? Who are you?" Asked Dareth.

"My name is Pixal, the Overlord and his armies have your friends." Pixal grabbed the camera and walked down the stairs into the dungeon.

"See?" Pixal moved the camera around.

"Someone help me!" Cynder yelped, still upside down.

"No one is going to help you." Pixal dully said.

"What the?" Dareth gasped.

"She's a traitor!" Nya cried. Cynder thrashed and started screaming in another langue.

"What's she saying, I can't understand her. I speak tons of things but I don't speak stupid." Dareth smugly said.

"I said 'We were idiots to ever trust this bitch!' I mean seriously! No one listened when I said she still had the Overlord virus in her!" Cynder screeched. A dark purple aura surrounded Cynder. She was suddenly dropped; she had been given some more chain length.

"What was that?" Pixal looked interested. She motioned the guard closer. Pixal handed the random nindroid the camera and walked over to Cynder's cage. She unlocked the door and walked in.

Cynder reacted quickly to the sudden closeness. She slammed her head harshly into Pixal's. Despite the shocking pain, and the blood dripping from her forehead. She managed to snag her chain's key from the disoriented Pixal.

"That was a stupid move." Pixal frowned. Cynder had snuck the key into her own pocket. Pixal punched Cynder directly in chest, knocking the witch off her feet. Cynder coughed up some blood.

"Ow…" Cynder leaned against the wall for support.

"Cynder!" Zane yelped, who tried to grab Cynder's hand. Pixal smacked Zane's hand.

"Stop trying to help her, or I'll hurt you." Pixal walked from the cell and closed Cynder's cell's door. She locked it and walked back over to the guard.

"So you see, your little friends are going to rot here, and then the Overlord will rule the world." Pixal clicked the camera off.

"We have to help them!" Dareth decided.

"But we can't! We're just kids!" A student shouted.

"Damn it! What are we going to do!?" Demanded Dareth.

"We can wait it out, Cynder grabbed a key from Pixal's pocket." Bradley shouted.

"We can make a plan in the mean time!" Another student shouted.

"Alright, let's do it!" Dareth nodded.

Cynder was trying to keep herself from blacking out. The pain was too much.

"Cynder come here." Zane said. Cynder managed to push herself on all fours. She crawled over, wobbling. She sat in front of the bars, leaning against them.

Zane felt around her head.

"You cracked your skull…" Zane frowned, his eyes full of worry.

"We can worry about that later…I took a key from Pixal. It's in my right pocket. Undo the chains and I'll teleport us out of here…" Cynder said, as she began to get paler. Zane snuck his hand into her pocket, he pulled the key out.

"Oh my pretties!" Pixal shouted as she walked down the stairs. Zane quickly hid the key in his pocket and moved away from Cynder.

"Hello, oh my! Is she dying?" Laughed Pixal.

"How can you laugh?! Doesn't the Overlord need her or something?" Zane hissed.

"Zane!" Nya shouted. Zane gave Nya the 'I can't let her die' look.

"He does, but he'd rather use Lloyd's powers. Her's are too unpredictable." Pixal laughed at Cynder's pain.

"Well I just wanted to see if she was dead yet. Call me when she is." Pixal walked back up the stairs.

Zane walked back over to Cynder and grabbed out the key. He snuck his hands in between the bars. He quickly unlocked Cynder's chains. She concentrated and teleported the caged group back to their hide out.

"We have to move!" Kai said.

"Take what you need! We need to find a new hide out now!" Cole shouted. Zane helped Cynder get what she needed before dealing with his own property.

Zane and Nya bandaged Cynder's wound, but she still was in no condition to move. Zane picked Cynder up with ease.

"You are too light." Zane said to Cynder.

"We'll grab your backpack, Zane." Cole said.

"I'll carry Cynder's." Nya said, smiling.

They managed to find waterfall that had a cave behind it to hide in.

"Cynder, are you alright?" Zane placed Cynder down. She was pale.

"Cynder?" Zane felt for a pulse. Cynder leaned against a rock.

"I'm okay…Just having trouble talking…" Cynder stumbled out. Zane walked over to his bag and grabbed out a green container. He walked back over to Cynder.

"I made sure I found my herbal medicine kit that Vail gave me." Zane opened the container and undid the wet bandages.

"This is going to hurt a bit." Zane took his gloves off and rubbed some ointment into the wound on Cynder's head.

"How hard did you slam your head into Pixal's that you cracked your skull?" Jay asked, concerned.

"Hard enough…To…Disorient her…" Cynder mumbled, wincing.

"You probably have a concussion as well as a cracked skull. So no falling asleep." Zane got some new bandaged and wrapped Cynder's head.

"I am sorry I did not believe you." Zane sat down beside Cynder. She placed her head on his shoulder.

"I'm used to it." Cynder smiled softly.

"No falling asleep." Zane chuckled.

"Only…If you don't." Cynder let out a broken sounding chuckle.

"I didn't plan to sleep…My head may not be hurting but my heart does…" Zane muttered.

"But I don't want to cause you anymore pain so…I'll leave Pixal talk for when you are better." Zane said, frowning. Cynder stumbled onto her feet, her body trembling.

"No it's okay…I'm gonna head…To Pagama…You guys need to…Be able to leave…As soon as someone spots a nindroid…Who isn't Zane…You guys…Don't need to…To…Have to…Worry about me…" Cynder's legs could no longer hold her weight, she collapsed.

"Cynder!?" Zane yelped. Zane quickly crawled over to her. Cynder had blacked out.

"Cynder?! Hey wake up!" Zane yelped. Zane bolted over to his bag and dug through it.

"Where is it?! Don't tell me I forgot it!" Zane yelped.

"Forgot what?" Jay asked.

"Cynder gave me a container with these special things in them; they open the gate to Pagama. I need to get Cynder there, she needs medical attention! And I don't know enough to be able to help!" Zane continued to frantically dig through his bag.

"Thank goodness Cynder gave me one too…" Nya walked over to her bag and pulled out a container.

"Really?" Zane asked.

"She said it was just in case." Nya walked over and handed the container to Zane.

"If I forgot it, and the nindroids find it…Pagama is in trouble and it'll be all my fault…" Zane looked away, ashamed of himself.

"Does it look like that one?" Kai asked.

"Yes it does look similar." Zane said, holding the container in his hands up.

"Then I grabbed it. I didn't know what it was though, but I thought it was important considering you were hiding it." Kai walked over to where he hid his bag and took out a similar container. He tossed it to Zane.

"Thank you!" Zane smiled, he handed Nya back her container before getting up.

"Nya, do you remember the words to use these?" Zane asked as he opened the container.

"You don't need words; you just break one of the crystals." Nya face palmed.

Zane took out one of the crystal and smashed it against the floor. A cyan glow immerged the room in light. When the light faded there was a door. Zane bolted over to Cynder's nearly motionless body and picked her up.

Zane ran over to the Gate and pushed against it, the door opened with ease and he bolted through.

"This isn't Nera clan…" Zane's face turned pale.

"No it isn't. It's Pura clan." A voice said.

"Who are you?" Zane turned to look at the girl. Her eyes filled with shock when she noticed Cynder.

"My name is Skyra, what happened to Cynder?" Skyra stayed calm.

"We got captured; she smashed her head into Pixal's and cracked her skull." Zane said, whimpering.

"I'll take her to Nera. Please hand her here." Skyra said. Zane handed Cynder to Skyra.

"I will take you there as soon as I return." Skyra opened her wings and disappeared.

"Whoa…" Zane looked around, nervous at the glares he was receiving. Skyra was back in a couple of minutes.

"Vail is looking at the wounds. Please close the door to Pagama before I take you to Nera." Skyra said.

"Alright." Zane closed the Gate. In a flash of light, the Gate was gone. Zane's eyes widened in fear.

"Do not worry; I will open a new gate." Skyra began to walk. Zane took a deep breath and followed Skyra.

Zane sighed worriedly.

"I am worried about Cynder condition and Pixal just keeps trying to capture us or kill us!" Zane was trembling in a corner of the cavern.

"Zane, relax. Cynder will pull through. This is Cynder that we are talking about. That bitch has gotten through so much, it won't end this way." Nya said.

"As for Pixal, we'll find a way to get rid of the virus." Kai said. Zane's phone began ringing. Zane took his phone out, eyes widening at the number's display.

"Who is it?" Cole asked.

"It's Cynder's number, but something tells me, it isn't Cynder." Zane answered his phone.

"Hello." Vail said.

"Greetings Vail. How is Cynder?" Zane asked.

"She is still out but she is recovering. She most likely won't wake until she's all healed up." Said Vail.

"Alright, thank you for keeping me up to date." Zane said.

Cynder stretched out, rubbing her eyes.

"I am glad you are okay." Zane smiled.

"I died for a little bit…It was so nice…" Cynder muttered.

"Don't talk like that." Zane slapped Cynder.

"Don't hit me!" Cynder hissed.

"Then don't talk like that, it's worry some!" Zane sighed.

"You two can fight elsewhere. I have a job to do." Vail shoed the two through the Gate and back to Ninjago.

"Welcome back." Nya smiled and hugged Cynder. Cynder hugged Nya back.

"Thanks." Cynder mumbled.

"Are you okay?" Nya asked, breaking the embrace.

"Ya, I'm fine." Cynder smiled a fake smile.

"I'm glad to hear that." Nya chuckled.

"Good to have you back, Cyns." Kai smiled and smacked her harshly on the back. Normally Cynder would have punched Kai, but she bit her lip.

"Glad to be back." Cynder was disoriented.

"Did I accidently hit you too hard?" Kai asked, preparing to get punched.

"Just a little too hard." Cynder chuckled.

"Oh…Sorry." Kai was surprised Cynder didn't punch him.

"I wouldn't worry about it." Cynder said.

"Okay then…" Kai slowly said before backing away.

Meanwhile,

"Let's check their base, maybe it will have hints at where they went." Pixal said, as she and Cryptor walked together.

Cryptor and Pixal walked into the old base. They looked around and found nothing. Pixal noticed a rug in Cynder's room, she tugged it from its spot.

What lied under the rug was a safe, Pixal managed to get into the safe with ease.

"What is that?" Pixal grabbed out a container, she opened it. Her eyes widened as she smirked.

Little had the ninjas known that Cynder had a bunch of those crystals herself, so that if she couldn't use her magic, she would still be able to get to Pagama.

"We may not know where they are, and they most likely aren't in the Clan World, but that doesn't mean we can't draw Cynder out and get her to spill where they are." Pixal laughed, it was such a sinister laugh.

Pixal laughed at how easily Cynder has captured.

"Where are the ninja?" Pixal asked, pressing a knife to Cynder's shoulder.

"I'll never tell you!" Cynder hissed. Pixal sunk the blade into Cynder's soft flesh. She bit her lip to refrain from crying out.

"I'll repeat it one more time, where are the ninja!?" Pixal demanded.

"And as I said, I'll never tell you!" Cynder hissed.

"You will in due time, Shady." Pixal left the knife in Cynder's shoulder. She left the room. Tears trickled to the floor, the pain was over whelming for Cynder.

"Alright, alright! I'll tell you!" Cynder screamed, the tears falling from her cheeks.

"Good girl." Pixal yanked the blade from Cynder's shoulder blade.

"They're behind a waterfall…It isn't far from our old base…" Cynder panted, coughing.

"We need to make sure she isn't lying, I don't trust this little rat." Pixal left the room.

"Please…Let me go…I'm not lying…" Cynder cried. Cryptor smirked,

"Of all the things I'd do, do you believe I'll release you?" Laughed Cryptor.

"I have one trick up my sleeve you, prick." Cynder hissed.

"Then show me it." Cryptor was curious of what she was going to do. Cynder let out a loud screeching sound. Cryptor jumped.

"Well that was unexpected…" Cryptor mumbled. Cynder continued her loud screeching; it soon got higher in pitch. Cryptor covered his ears.

"Okay! I'll release you! Just stop it before you blow my eyes out!" Hissed Cryptor. Cynder smirked, Cryptor unlocked her chains. Cynder kicked him in the chest and teleported back to the others.

"Cynder!" Zane ran over to her and hugged her.

"I am seriously hurt…The crack on my skull hurts…But pookipsie…" Cynder used Zane as a support.

"Pookipsie?! Why pookipsie, what happened?!" Zane yelped.

"Pixal found my crystals, the ones I kept for if I ever lost my magic and needed to get to Pagama. She used my love for my clan against me. I was captured and tortured…I'm sorry…So Sorry but told her were you guys were hiding…I was weak…I am weak…" Cynder started crying.

"Whoa, whoa…Cynder, you've been gone for months…None of us would have lasted this long. So no you aren't weak." Kai said.

"Well, thank you for telling us. Let's go, we need to find a new base…Wait how'd you escape?" Zane asked.

"Skyra taught me how to make a really loud and annoying sound. According to Cryptor, I almost blew his eyes out with the noise. So he released me." Cynder said.

"I am glad you are okay. But we need to get out of here." Zane said.

"Let's go!" Cole shouted.

Cynder sat, watching the opening of the hole they were in.

"This is so weird…" Jay mumbled.

"How likely is it that Zane fell into a cavern that's underground?" Cole chuckled.

"It's actually very possible because you never know just where one would be. And since the rock here seems to be wet, which caused the rocks to erode. So judging by how heavy Zane might be, the rock could have crumbled beneath him. None of the other rocks seem to be eroding…How weird." Cynder said, looking around.

"Jeez Cynder, do you over think things in Pagama as much as you do here?" Kai laughed.

"Don't laugh at her." Zane said, crossing his arms.

"No it's alright, I deserve it. And I was just saying, Cole did ask how likely it was." Cynder said.

"You are being horribly serious, that's so unusual of you…" Nya said.

"I just want to keep my mind away from certain things." Cynder said, walking away.

"I'm going to explore. Don't wait up." Cynder snagged her bag and continued walking.

"She's acting really suspicious." Kai said.

"Maybe she thinks we don't like her anymore because she told Pixal where we were hiding." Nya said.

"She is hurt though, and we do need to treat her wounds." Zane said.

Cynder ran down the cavern and slid on the smoother surfaces.

"I can't let them help me…Not after this time…Not this time…This time I'm the traitor." Cynder was on the verge of tears.

Pixal frowned at the sight before her, an empty cave behind a waterfall. Though it did have evidence of people recently being there.

"So they moved, huh? It seems Cynder has a couple tricks up her sleeve. Well I'm not worried, I'll get her and I'll make sure she dies this time." Pixal laughed.

Cynder concentrated her magic as she began to mess with it. Closing her dark eyes she sighed heavily.

"It's all my fault…The waterfall base was so much better…Even if this one is bigger…It's more dangerous." Cynder's magic reacted to her emotions and threw her into the wall. Cynder shook herself off and stood up.

A thought occurred to Cynder.

"I can end this all…All the pain…" Cynder looked away; a small smile crept onto her lips.

"Has anyone heard anything from Cynder?" Zane asked, getting worried.

"Not a thing, why?" Jay asked.

"I have not seen her in two weeks, and I cannot find her in the cavern…I hope she's alright." Zane said.

"Well this place is huge. Let's find some string or something and we'll make a trail so we know where we've been. Who knows how deep Cynder went." Nya said.

"Yes but remember she was severally hurt, I just hope she is alive." Zane said.

"Did you check Pagama?" Asked Lloyd.

"I did, Vail said no one has seen her since the incident with her head." Zane said, frowning.

"Alright, then let's start looking." Cole got up.

"No one is going to leave a trail are they?" Nya frowned.

"We will Nya, Lloyd can freeze the ground or the walls or something." Jay smiled.

"Be careful guys." Nya sighed.

"We will." Kai said. The five ninjas went to look for the witch. Lloyd froze the left wall as they walked along.

"In hind sight, the ice has a high possibility of melting." Zane said.

"Shut up Zane; be glad we're helping you look for your psychopathic girlfriend." Kai frowned.

"I do not like walking this much either, Kai, but she was quite hurt…I just want to make sure she is alive…I have already lost Pixal, I am not sure I can deal with losing them both." Zane frowned, and looked away.

"Shut up and stop whining." Kai snapped.

"No arguing, guys. That won't get us anywhere." Lloyd said.

"Lloyd is correct, fighting is getting us nowhere." Zane said.

"Ya…Let's just find Cynder and go find a new base. I can't stand being down here for much longer. It's too creepy." Kai said, crossing his arms.

"That's right, isn't Cynder schizophrenic? Wouldn't she have gone to find a different place that wouldn't make her schizophrenia freak out?" Jay looked towards Zane.

"She would have but I do not believe she did…She would have informed us. Or we would have noticed." Zane said.

"Unless she teleported." Cole said.

"She couldn't. I do not know why, but something tells me she is too weak to teleport." Zane sighed.

"Then we really need to find her, she could be in trouble." Kai said. The five picked up their pace.

Author's Note:

I am freaking running out of filler! But this story is almost to the end (I believe there are three chapters to go. (Three left for me to write and then I have to write the epilogue.)) Maybe more, I have no idea. Any suggestions for filler are welcome.

I believe there is only a Supernatural reference in this chapter.

Suggests of who Zane is with are still up!
