The Passage of Time.

A/N: sorry about the wait for this chapter but back in may I had my mind on exams, then I managed to finally get a part time job so that took up some time, that and I must have rewritten this chapter about a dozen times before I got to a point where I liked what I had typed thus this finished chapter. As of Monday the 15th of September this story has been up for a year, so just for that enjoy a chapter with 20k+ words.

And keep a lookout for my other stories if you read them as well, and again sorry for the wait and NO I have not abandon this story or my other ones it's just I hit writers block and it took a while to get away from it. Anyway enjoy this chapter.

Story Begin:

It was another glorious day in the elemental nations, and two and a half months since Arashi and Tayuya were married, the village has been rebuilt and refortified thanks to the efforts of the villagers and shinobi.

Speaking of Arashi and Tayuya, the expecting parents were preparing their room and themselves for the birth of their child. Tayuya had become more and more excited to give birth to her child as she got closer and closer to her due date, according to Tsukiko and Shizune, the child had been growing nice and healthy, evident enough from her enlarged abdomen and the definitive motherly glow she had about her, Arashi loved how she had this air of happiness surround her all the time.

The couple were spending some time together in town doing some shopping, mainly for the baby, when they sensed an incoming chakra signal, so they weren't shocked when an ANBU appeared in front of them.

"Uzumaki-sama, Hokage-sama needs you in his office ASAP, he says it's an emergency" the ANBU said.

Yeah Arashi returned to the Uzumaki name as he and Hikari really wanted to rebuild it as they were brought up Uzumaki, anyway they unlocked their Uzumaki bloodlines so there was no chance of their kids unlocking the Senju bloodline, so they left the Senju line to Naruto and Hitomi who recently unlocked her mokuton abilities as well as the Nidaime's unnatural affinity to Water.

"Alright tell him, I'm on my way" Arashi said thinking what the emergency was,

"Roger" the anbu said disappearing in a swirl of leaves

"Sorry Hun, looks like I need to split" Arashi said kissing his wife.

"No problem Rashi I understand it's an emergency, I'll see you later at home" Tayuya replied returning the kiss. She was disappointed that her alone time with her husband got cut short

"Of course, see you at home Hime" Arashi said kissing his wife again this time on the cheek while giving her a warm embrace then disappearing in a yellow flash. Tayuya headed home, hopefully the fox kits would be out and about along with Senritsu today.

-With Arashi-

In a flash of yellow Arashi appeared in his father's office, to find his grandfather standing beside the desk with a serious look on his face. Jiraiya may be a pervert but when things go south he is one of the most reliable shinobi around. But what had Arashi thinking was the worried look on his father's face. Minato had a frown on his face as he was reading what looked like a mission report from Kakashi, as evident from the ninken standing beside the desk

"Ah Arashi, sorry for calling you like this but we just received word from Kakashi. You see a while ago I issued a mission to Naruto with team 7, it was his first mission as squad leader and we figured it was a routine escort mission, they were to escort the film crew responsible for the princess gale movies, along with the actor Yukie Fujikaze. However turns out Ms. Fujikaze is actually the princess Koyuki Kazahana and is wanted by her uncle Dotō. While attempting to rescue her after being taken Naruto had also been captured by Snow ninja, Kakashi has requested backup, you are to leave immediately." Minato said looking at his eldest

"Hai Hokage-sama," Arashi said seriously, his little brother was in danger and he was needed to help,

"Also Arashi I need to tell you to be careful as Akatsuki have been seen in that area" Jiraiya said "My spies tell me they sent Itachi Uchiha and Hosigaki Kisame after you brother,"

"No problem Ojī-san, I'll take care of it" Arashi said saluting and disappearing in a yellow flash, heading home for supplies.

-Senju Compound-

When Arashi reached home he was met with the sight of his beloved resting on the couch while talking to Hitomi about the academy which Hitomi had started at recently.

"And so then Iruka-sensei asked us to go home and read up on the second shinobi war" Hitomi finished with a pout, just like her brother Naruto, Hitomi wasn't one for the more academic ventures of the shinobi academy.

"Well squirt, you'd have to ask Hikari, Kushina-kaa-chan or Rashi for that, I never really read up on that stuff as I became I jōnin when I first came here" Tayuya said ruffling Hitomi's hair when she saw the small pout from calling her squirt.

"Well" Arashi said stepping into the conversation "You'll have to talk to your Kā-chan, imōto, I need to go away on a mission now and Hikari is already out on a mission" Arashi said sitting on the couch

"Aww really aniki" Hitomi pouted,

"Yup afraid so squirt, but I'll bring you back something nice kay" Arashi said

"Okay aniki, I'm going to find mama see if she can help me with my homework" Hitomi said

"Bye squirt" Arashi and Tayuya said waving to the preteen

"So Rashi-koi, what's the mission" Tayuya said giving a stern look to Arashi who started chuckling nervously

"I need to get to the land of snow to back up Kakashi, no worries, I'll be there and back with mission success in a week tops Koishii, believe it" Arashi said kissing his wife while wincing at his verbal tic again. However Tayuya just smiled, it was rare for him to use the tic, only times when he was over emotional or excited

"Good just promise me you'll be back in time for the baby okay" Tayuya said kissing him back

"But of course my dear, you have my kunai so as soon as anything happens you throw it got it" he said in a serious tone

"Okay koi, now go I'll be fine for now" Tayuya said standing up to see him off while a clone of Arashi's came with a scroll of supplies.

"Aishiteru Koishii" Arashi said kissing his wife and touching his forehead to hers,

"Aishiteru Anata" Tayuya said returning the kiss and hugging her husband back.

With that Arashi left the house and as he entered the yard he ran through the seals for the summoning and finished with the bird hand sign to clarify he wanted his eagle summoning.

"Kuchiyose no jutsu"

Activating the jutsu he summoned an Eagle that slighter larger than himself and large enough to carry him on his back

"Ah nice to see you again Arashi" the eagle said, it was a golden eagle which quite rare even in the summon realm, he also happened to be Arashi's personal summons from the Eagle clan

"Nice to see you too Kōtō [Soaring], I need a lift to the land of snow if that's alright with you" Arashi said bowing to his friend and partner.

"Not at all my friend although it will take a day and a half to get there, I'm good but not that good" the Eagle replied chuckling.

"Thanks Buddy, beats the hell out of riding a freaking boat for a week, plus I'm in a bit of a hurry as Kakashi sent for back up asap" Arashi said scratching the back of his neck

"Well then we better get a move on, hop on" Kōtō replied kneeling so Arashi could climb upon his back, which Arashi proceeded to do. With that Kōtō took off into the skies and breakneck speeds.

-Currently with Hikari-

Hikari for once was having a hard time, currently she was investigating one of Orochimaru's bases in Grass country and was quite frankly disgusted with the man, the atrocities he committed all for the pursuit of immortality. What's worse was that this was supposed to be an easy mission as the base was supposed to be deserted but she found it full with Oto Nin expecting their master to somehow return to them.

So here she was fighting Oto Nins while trying to escape with the notes and scrolls her father sent her to retrieve, currently she was fighting a band of five ninjas that were heavily experimented on, and how could she tell? Well one of them had four arms, two of which were surgically graphed onto him.

As she was running she was blindsided by one of the Oto Nins, this one was like the sound team from the chuunin exams, i.e. he had those sound tunes graphed into his arms.

"HA got you now leaf bitch" the Oto Nin yelled

"kage bunshin no jutsu" Hikari said summoning two clones to keep the guy busy and off her back while she unsealed her katana, "Time to teach these assholes a lesson ttebane"

Equipped with her sword now she engaged the Oto Nins fiercely seeing as she has no other choice now. She began her dance of death slipping into the Uzumaki kenjutsu stance,

"I got you now you little leaf skank" the man with four arms said appearing in front of her, the man was equipped with four scimitars.

"Bring it Oto scum" Hikari rebutted, snarling the four armed man attacked head on bring his two top swords down in a vertical slash aiming to dismember her arms however Hikari easily blocked one strike and dodged the other by stepping to the side then followed up with a horizontal cut to the man's abdomen and managed to cut him slightly as he jumped back to try and avoid the hit but wasn't fast enough to dodge completely.

Hikari backed off to release her resistance seals as she needed to take this fight deadly serious, as the other Oto Nins could decide to join in on the fight at any time,

Engaging the man again Hikari upped the ante as she attacked faster as her seals were released, dodging another slash aimed for her head this time, Hikari ducked and slashed one of the man's arms. Encasing her katana with her wind natured chakra, Hikari managed to dismember one of the man's arms, the man yelled in pain then in rage as he attacked her blindly, aiming to take her head off violently, however the attack was telegraphed so much that Hikari was easily able to dodge it and then followed up by taking off two more arms and slashing diagonally on the man's torso leaving a large gash that started to bleed profusely, taking the four armed abomination out,

Of course this was when the others decided to step in so now it was four against one and they all had the sound tubes graphed into the arms, apparently it was a common thing in Oto, but then again it was the village of sound, however something unexpected happened, two of the nins that were about to flank Hikari from the right were blown back by a large gust of wind

"How dare you ruffians try to attack this fair maiden" came a voice.

Hikari looked towards to the speaker and had to try hard to contain her blush, as standing there was a very handsome man, he was well built and 5ft 11 tall, he had crimson hair which was styled like a samurai's and black eyes that stared hard at the Oto nins in front of him, however instead of a katana like normal samurai, this guy had a double-edged sword that was about 4ft in length.

"Back off pal this is between us and the leaf bitch" one of the Oto guys said

"how unbecoming of a man to call a beautiful woman such as her such an awful word" the man said shaking his head in disagreement "Alright then listen here enemy nin, I am Ryu Uzumaki and today is the day you four pay for your crimes against her"

With that the now identified Ryu joined the fray backing Hikari up who got over her shock at finding another Uzumaki in order to block a strike from the other Nins. With the two Uzumaki working together the four were being fought off easily enough, killing two of them.

However Hikari was soon getting pissed off with the sound attacks the Oto Nins kept firing, so going through the signs for a summoning with a particular one in mind

"Kuchiyose no jutsu: Wolf Pack Summoning" she shouted slamming her hand on the ground creating five clouds of smoke that surrounded her, when the smoke dispersed surrounding Hikari was five large wolves snarling at the Oto nins. "Get them" she said calmly

And with that the five wolves charged at the two remaining Oto Nins who ran at the sight of the large wolves charging at them, after a while their screams of torture echoed throughout the forest. When the wolves came back Hikari thanked and dispelled them. She then turned to Ryu and bowed slightly

"Thank you Ryu-san for helping me fight of those Oto Nins" she said remembering to be polite.

"Don't mention it, anything to help out such a beautiful woman" he said smiling charmingly. Hikari blushed red as her hair and placed her hands on her cheeks to hide the blush

"Muu don't say such an embarrassing thing ttebane" she said shaking her head.

"Oh my what a lovely little verbal tic you have, may I be so rude as to ask for the lady's name" Ryu replied chuckling a bit at her verbal tic. Of course when Ryu said her tic was lovely Hikari blushed her more. However she regained her composure and smiled

"Oh sorry my name is Uzumaki-Senju Hikari, nice ta meet ya" she said curtseying.

"Hmm Radiance, well I must say you are a radiant beauty" Ryu said taking her hand and kissing the back of it.

"Muu, so embarrassing ttebane" Hikari said blushing furiously once more then she jumped suddenly remembering something

"I'm so sorry but I need to get back to konoha quickly" she said then went through hand signs and she summoned a large eagle "Again I'm sorry but I need to get back to report to the hokage I'm late as it is thanks to the Oto nin but if you ever come to konoha try and look me up there, see ya gain Ryu-kun" she said mounting the eagle as it began to take off and fly off towards konoha.

As Hikari flew off into the distance Ryu decided he would head to konoha next after his business in the hidden grass village.

-Konoha, Hokage's office-

Minato was busy filing paperwork as he had actually ran out of stuff to read and for once was actually in the mood to do the paperwork. Anyway he was about to take a break when the door to the office suddenly opened with Hikari walking in

"Tou-chan, mission successful" she said panting after to catch her breath

"Good job Hikari, now you were two days late reporting back, care to explain" Minato asked in a worried tone of voice.

"Well I was being chased by these Oto nins that wouldn't give up but when I took care of them I came back as quick as I could" Hikari explained, as soon as she mentioned being chased Minato went into mother-hen mode checking his eldest daughter for injuries

"Are you okay, you're not hurt are you," he said as he was checking over her

"I fine, get off tou-chan ttebane" she replied pushing him off her, embarrassed by his mother-hen-ing.

"Are you sure you're okay princess" Minato said looking at her with a worried look

"I'm fine tou-san, besides this really cute guy came and saved me before it got too bad" Hikari said blushing a bit when she realized she called Ryu cute, of course this was a bad idea as Minato had a shocked look on his face

"What a boy, when, where, how?" he said switching to overprotective dad mode.

"TOU-SAN it's not like that yet" she said quickly whispering the last part to herself. "And anyway there's, like, little chance of him coming here anyway, I kinda cut our meeting short when I realized I had to return immediately" she said with a sad look on her face "Anyway I'll see you at home later tou-chan"

She then headed out the door with Minato giving her a quick hug to cheer her up.

"That poor girl" Minato said getting a bit depressed himself, as a father his first priority is his children's happiness, but then again it was his little girl here he was talking about, it was too soon for her to go off and get married, however just maybe, "I think I'll give this one a chance, I mean he did save my daughter when he could have left her to her fate."

With that Minato resolved to let her daughter pursue this guy if and when he ever does visit konoha however Minato would of course lay some ground rules as well as tell Arashi and Naruto to look out for their sister. With that concluded Minato returned to his paperwork

-With Arashi a few days later-

Arashi had finally arrived in the land of snow and called upon his wolf familiar Amaterasu, who was a snow white with red tribal markings, timberland wolf the size of a small horse, but she was the best damn tracker in the pack and she was deadly in a fight, Arashi was currently on her back hitching a ride as she tracked down Kakashi,

"Any luck finding Kakashi Ama-chan" he asked looking around to see if he can spot anything with his Rinnegan activated,

"No not yet" Amaterasu said sniffing around, until she picked up something "hold on I just got a scent of cheap perfume, tomatoes and wet dogs"

"Yeah that would be Kakashi and two of his students, the third one probably uses scent killers" Arashi said "alright Ama-chan, let's head over to team 7 and get to rescuing my brother"

"Roger Arashi-kun" Amaterasu said picking up speed heading in the direction of Kakashi and co.

-With Kakashi and Co.-

Team 7 were currently bunkered down in a rebellion safe house with the rebel leader of Yuki no Kuni, Sandayu, Who also happened to be Princess Koyuki's agent.

The mission to escort the actor Yukie Fujikaze was going so well until the Director had the 'brilliant' idea of shooting on an iceberg, while they were shooting they were ambushed by a group of Yuki Nin led by Nadare Roga. Naruto, Sasuke and Kakashi managed to fight them off while Sai and Sakura made sure Yukie and the crew got back aboard the ship safe and sound,

It was then they found Yukie was actually the princess Koyuki Kazahana rightful heir to Yuki no Kuni's throne, and when they stopped along a mountain range she made her attempt to escape but was thwarted by Naruto who used his mokuton to trap her in vines, however Nadare had returned with Dotō on a large train which started shooting kunai at the rebels and crew which was stopped when Naruto summoned a wall of wood, this had the effect of tiring him out, and was captured by the Yuki nin, that was when it was found out that Dotō and Nadare had help from two Akatsuki members Uchiha Itachi and Hosigaki Kisame, the princess was snatched and the villains escaped in a blimp, a bit clichéd if you asked Kakashi but that was neither here nor there,

Kakashi was thinking along the lines of if 'I was just a bit faster' and what not, this was when he, Sasuke and Sai went on alert as two large chakra signature was coming their way

However they relaxed when Kakashi recognized one of them as Arashi and told them back up had arrived, with that he went out to meet up with up with Arashi.

"Hey sempai, how's things on your end" Arashi said

"Maa, they've been better Arashi" Kakashi said dejectedly "You see it's like this…" he started and then explained what happened during the mission so far, by the end of the report Arashi was beyond pissed, Madara and his plan had to be stopped before it could progress anymore, but first he had a brother to rescue.

"Alright here's how this is going to go, I'm going to beat the shit out of Akatsuki and bust my brother out of Dotō's evil castle then level the fucking thing to the ground" Arashi said clenching his fist in anger, Rinnegan glowing slightly as he activated without realizing it, they deactivated though when he calmed down, "Now" he started by looking at the actor's agent "Where's Dotō castle"

The man then told him everything he wanted to know

-With Naruto the next day -

Currently Naruto was lying in a shitty bed in a prison cell in Dotō's dungeon, yeah the prick actually had a dungeon, anyway in the cell with him was Koyuki Kazahana, who had been subjected to his potent Therapy jutsu, and now resolved herself to take back what was rightfully hers and bring her country back into prosperity.

Also with them was Itachi Uchiha, who had learned that Naruto knew why he had to leave the village, he also learned everything that had happened since he left. He was surprised his mother was brought back to life as well as Naruto's parents, and the fact his [Itachi's] father had placed behavior modification seals on Sasuke. Naruto then told him how he had been ordered to return home and that Arashi would be no doubt be coming for him [Naruto]. Of course Itachi argued that the village needed as much data on Akatsuki as he could get, Naruto countered that they have everything they needed thanks to Arashi getting it from Hidan and Kakuzu using his Rinnegan, of course this was a lie as Arashi had completely obliterated the zombie brothers before he could suck their minds of the info, however they had managed to catch Zetsu when he tried infiltrating the village for madara, however he was caught by the new barriers Hikari, Honoka and Arashi added to the barrier defence of konoha. Basically what it did was paralyze him long enough to slap a chakra restraint seal on him then Arashi used the Human path to take Zetsu's soul as well as all of his information he had they then sealed the body in a scroll then destroyed the scroll making sure Zetsu was thoroughly disposed of.

Anyway it was a while until the duo was shaken from their conversation when they heard alarms blaring and shouts of giant wolves and tigers, Itachi looked at Naruto who grinned back at the stoic Uchiha.

"That would be my older brother, looks like you pissed him off" Naruto said then looking at the corner of the cell Naruto shouted "Oi Keitaro any chance you could get this chakra thingy of me" he asked pointing to the device on his chest, and low and behold in the corner the air shimmered before an orange fox appeared and trotted over to Naruto, the fox then proceeded to rip the device off Naruto carefully.

After the device was successfully removed Naruto then did some stretches as he felt his chakra flow again more fluidly.

"Alright let's do this" Naruto said unsealing his new sword, well new for him it was of course the Raijin sword which was an heirloom of the Senju so seeing as he was one it was his by birth right. Activating it Naruto cut the bars in front of and exited the cell he then turned to the princess "You coming"

Koyuki just nodded dumbly as she was shocked by the blond's actions.

-With Arashi and Squad 7 (Play those who fight from FF7)-

Currently Kakashi and Arashi was engaging Kisame Hosigaki and Nadare Roga, Arashi fighting Kisame, giant ass sword vs giant ass sword, and Kakashi was fight Nadare, only this time Kakashi was taking it very seriously, i.e. rather than show off his copying abilities with the sharingan he was kicking the shit out of the man with his superior tactical mind and agility and skills in ninjutsu and taijutsu.

Arashi was showing the deadly skills of an Uzumaki in the way of the sword against that of one of the most deadly mist swordsman, to say Kisame was shocked was an understatement, he couldn't understand how this punks buster sword was standing up to the might of one of the seven mist swords and not just any but his Samehada.

"You're very good punk I'll admit, but how the hell is your sword able to match my Samehada" Kisame said blocking a vertical slash from Arashi,

"That's because each of the blades in this fusion blade was forged in the sacred forge of Uzushio using the Uzumaki traditional way of forging weapons" Arashi said blocking a strike from Kisame,

"Shit, so I'm guessing you're a genuine Uzumaki then" Kisame said sending strike after strike against Arashi who blocked every one of them.

"But of course, myself and my younger brother Naruto are sons of the Bloody Habanero" Arashi said sending a few strikes Kisame's way who never noticed the chips being taken out of Samehada,

"Shit, I knew your style was familiar, that woman was a monster, she made us seven look like little puppies, as she used to slaughter any nin from Kumo Kiri or Iwa during the third shinobi war" Kisame said as a shiver went up his spine

"Only because those countries were responsible for the destruction of her home village, which was a PEACEFUL COUNTRY, we never made it our priority to get involved with the five great nations' stupid little wars but no, we presented a threat that must be taken care of, well we gave as good as we got, it took 50 nin to take out a single Uzumaki, how do you like that Kiri scum" Arashi said attacking more furiously, but controlled. Kisame was beginning to sweat a little especially when the punk detached one of the blades from the main sword and with renewed vigor began to attack faster,

"Time to finish this, Kage Bunshin no jutsu" Arashi said creating a platoon of clones, which rushed Kisame and with kunais drawn began to attack with reckless abandon as they were large in number, Kisame dodged and blocked many attacks and dispelled quite a few clones however a few did managed to hit the giant of a man, when only four were left they charged kicking and punching the weakened Kiri Swordsman

"1" said one close lining the man

"2" said another elbow dropping him

"3" another kicking him towards the last

"4: Uzumaki Barrage" the last clone said sending the man sky high with a chakra infused kick with the original Arashi jumping after the man

"Tempest Special: Omnislash" he said starting the deadly dance flinging his swords towards Kisame,, they glowed an eerie blue with chakra, and surrounded the Kiri rogue nin, then he grabbed a random blade and then stuck with it, then two corporeal copies grabbed swords as well and thus began the deadly combo, after several strikes dismembering the Kiri rogue's body, Arashi took the first key blade and then decapitated his enemy with a horizontal slash infused with wind chakra.

The body fell to the ground as did Arashi's swords while he landed and grabbed the first key blade. Arashi looked over to see Kakashi finishing up his fight as well, by plunging a chidori into Nadare's chest killing the man instantly.

When that was done, Kakashi's and Arashi's attention was taken from their victories to the castle violently exploding with black ice dragons and wooden dragons attacking each other not to mention, the armored giant that was no doubt a Susanoo from a mangekyou sharingan, looking closer the two elite jōnin witnessed Naruto and Itachi fighting against Dotō,

"Heh looks like otōto got Itachi to come back" Arashi said looking to Kakashi, he resisted punching the man when he saw Kakashi take out that infernal orange little book,

"Maa, looks like it," Kakashi said looking up from the book and nearly paled when he saw a look on Arashi's face that Kushina would give sometimes.

-With Dotō, Naruto and Itachi-

The battle between the three had escalated quickly when Naruto confronted Dotō who revealed he had the ultimate chakra armor, which was black in color. Anyway the explosion was when Itachi's Amaterasu clashed with the ice style: black dragon blizzard. Then Itachi's Susanoo was activated to protect himself and the princess from the rubble while Naruto had activated the wood dome.

Now it was a battle between wits, as the three ninjas threw jutsu after jutsu at one another, Naruto would fire a wind or water or wood jutsu at Dotō who would fire his ice jutsu at both Naruto and Itachi, and Itachi would fire a fire jutsu at Dotō. Eventually it got to a stage where Dotō needed to come down onto the ground as levitating with the chakra armor was depleting his reserves faster than expected, that was when Naruto decided to strike

"Rasengan" he shouted shoving the grinding blue ball of chakra into the man's abdomen grinding away at the armor and flesh, then Naruto re-activated the Raijin and stabbed the man in the heart making sure he was killed.

- (End [those who fight FF7]) sometime later-

Everyone returned to the original palace after activating the 'weapon' only to find out it was a climate control machine to bring spring to Snow Country, Koyuki told them how she now proposed to rename Snow to the Land of Spring. They gathered in the palace to organize the coronation ceremony for Koyuki however Arashi was getting anxious and had to excuse himself

"I'm sorry guys but I'm heading back my mission was to help squad complete their mission which I did but I can't stick around as Tayuya is due soon and I don't want to miss it" Arashi told them

"Well I guess that's alright, we'll see you at home Arashi, Itachi will help us for the rest of the mission, right Itachi" Kakashi replied turning to Itachi who nodded

"That is correct sempai," Itachi said, he was busy getting pestered by Sasuke who seemingly reverted to his 6 year old self again around him (Itachi)

With a nod of his head Arashi left the palace and summoned Kōtō and they left in a hurry, Arashi used his wind chakra to help Kōtō fly faster.

-With Tayuya a few days later-

It had been two weeks since Arashi had went on his mission to backup Naruto and squad 7 and she was upset mainly because the baby had started to kick and he wasn't here to experience it with her,

However the others managed to keep her as happy as they could while Arashi was gone, her partner Senritsu introduced her to her kits one of which would be the baby's partner in years to come. Kushina kept her occupied with photo albums while Hikari told her stories of Arashi when they were growing up with their aunt some of which made Tayuya laugh with Arashi's escapades.

Anyway Tayuya was in her and Arashi's room currently brushing her hair, a guilty pleasure, but she does it none the less, her hair was now a lot longer now coming down as far as her thighs, and she now brushes the strand of hair that falls over her face behind her ear.

When finished brushing her hair Tayuya went downstairs for some food as she was getting a bit hungry, as she reached the bottom of the stairs the front door opened, Tayuya waited to greet the person when she gasped as standing there was Arashi

"Arashi" Tayuya exclaimed rushing to embrace him and the. Kissed him passionately. "Oh my kami Rashi I got so worried, I thought I'd never see you again"

"Well I'm home now Koishii, and I don't plan on going anywhere for a while," Arashi said holding her gently so as not to hurt the baby, after standing there hugging for a while he lead Tayuya over to the couch to sit down once sitting Tayuya looked to him and gave him a warm smile

"Anata, the baby started kicking a while ago, here look" she said taking his hand and placing it on her swollen belly. After a few seconds Arashi did indeed feel a kick and a goofy grin came across his face

"Oh my, looks like we got a taijutsu master here" he said making his wife giggle, her laugh was music to his ears.

"Anata can you get me a bento from the kitchen I came down for something to eat when you came home" Tayuya asked looking at him sweetly

"Of course Koishii, anything for my Aka-joō [joō is queen]" Arashi said kissing her on the forehead making her blush from his attentiveness

He left for the kitchen and started to prepare the bento, he was just about finished when Tayuya screamed

"ARASHI GET IN HERE QUICK" she shouted in a panicked voice, Arashi dropped what he was doing and ran into the living room to find Tayuya with a look of pain on her face and a puddle of water around her

"Anata my water just broke" she said again in a panicked voice

"Tayuya don't panic, the baby is coming" Arashi said in a surprised but excited tone of voice he seallessly created a shadow clone and told him to go pack a her night bag and hurry "okay Koishii, I'm gonna take you to the hospital now alright"

Tayuya looked to her husband as the pain subsided and smiled warmly "Anata the baby is coming"

"I know Tayuya-joō, that's why we need to go to the hospital okay, now I'm going to pick you up and we're going to go alright" Arashi replied trying his damnedness not to panic right now, Tayuya nodded her head as Arashi picked her up Bridal style and walking out the door, he created another shadow clone to go set everything up at the hospital and notify Shizune, the clone nodded once created and took off in a Shunshin.

On their way they met Kushina who squealed and calmed down immediately, and helped Arashi and Tayuya get to the hospital by clearing the way, not violently of course she just asked everyone to move aside as there was a medical emergency. Although Tayuya's contractions were getting stronger by the minute.

-At the hospital-

When the trio arrived at the hospital, Arashi's second clone was their waiting with a wheelchair which Arashi placed Tayuya in while signing her in. Kushina excused herself as she needed to go let Minato know, Shizune showed Arashi and Tayuya to their room as she got everything ready for the birthing

When they got to the room Tayuya's contractions began to get worse, and boy were they bad

"AHH SON OF A BITCH" she yelled as the first contraction hit her, "THIS IS YOUR FAULT YOU BASTARD, I'M GOING TO CASTRATE YOU FOR THIS UZUMAKI ARASHI"

"You're doing fine Tayuya" Shizune said checking her over with her medical jutsu "Alright your cervix is dilated at 5cm, Arashi I need you to concentrate on the seal until your father gets here"

"Actually Oba-chan, there won't be any trouble with the seal we reinforced it, like Naruto's seal it can only loosen through the key which is currently with the wolf summons, that and Tsukiko is helping Tayuya through this and not trying to escape" Arashi explained while comforting his wife, who was starting to scare the hell out of him

"Oh alright then well then just concentrate on keeping Tayuya as calm as possible. Now while she is still early in the childbirth process, will you be going with natural birthing or have you agreed on an epidural" Shizune asked

"I believe we went with a Na...AHH" Arashi began only to have his hand squeezed and a look of murderous rage on his wife's face "EPIDURAL, ha hah she wants the epidural"

"DAMN FUCKING STRAIGHT NOW DRUG ME UP NOW" Tayuya yelled another contraction setting in now getting less and less apart. Shizune jumped as Tayuya shouted, and ran to get the nurses and the epidural.

-With Naruto and Squad Seven-

Squad seven plus Itachi left the day after Arashi and made quick time seeing as Naruto left a Hiraishin tag at the dock in fire country thus cutting their journey in half.

It was in the Hokage's office however we currently find them finishing their mission report

"And then with the Coronation ceremony finished they presented us with medals to show their appreciation for our help and Koyuki thanked Naruto more than enough ain't that right Naruto" Kakashi finished giving Naruto his patented eye-smile. Naruto turned red and grumbled something like 'know-it-all scarecrows' making Kakashi and Minato laugh

"Good, good, now Kakashi how would you comment on his leadership skills" Minato asked,

"Well he rose to the challenge and did his best and I say he would make a good leader, he made tactics that went with our strengths and covered our weaknesses, he prevailed under pressure not breaking under it and i would like to recommend him for jōnin from the show of skills he also provided in the mission" Kakashi said standing up straight.

"Are you sure about this Kakashi" Minato asked, he was surprised at Kakashi's recommendation but he trusted Kakashi's judgment

"Of course Hokage-sensei" Kakashi said smirking a bit, Minato always told him to refer to him as sensei or Minato due to him being his student, Minato of course gained a few tick marks on his head.

"Alright then Kakashi, recommendation has been acknowledged, Naruto I'm going to put you under review for a promotion to jōnin, until notified otherwise you will be under review during mission now so as to assess whether or not you will be qualified for the promotion, do you understand" Minato said

"Understood Otō-sama" Naruto said bowing his head although he then broke out into his goofy grin excited over the chance to be promoted.

"And Itachi are you willing to become a defender of konoha once more" Minato asked turning to the stoic older Uchiha

"Hai hokage-sama, in fact I never stopped defending her from her enemies both foreign and domestic" Itachi replied

"Very well so, I then hereby reinstate you as a jōnin ninja" Minato said taking out and handing Itachi a new headband. Itachi was so surprised that it actually it showed on his face.

"But hokage-sama what about my punishment for abandoning the village" Itachi asked, he suddenly became nervous when Minato developed a predatory grin on his face

"Oh I'm leaving your punishment to your mother, as she asked me to, something about putting your brother into a unnecessary Tsukiyomi" Minato said shrugging, Sasuke snickered like a child would, knowing his older brother was going to get it now.

"Hai hokage-sama" Itachi said sighing dejectedly

"Alright then dismissed" Minato said however before Naruto, Kakashi and the others could leave Kushina burst into the office

"TAYUYA HAS GONE INTO LABOR, GET YOUR BLOND FLAKY ASS OVER TO THAT HOSPITAL NOW" Kushina shouted pointed with an angered face scaring the crap out of the genin and Naruto not to mention Minato and Kakashi, even Itachi went pale with fear. However Minato's fear changed to joy and surprise as he found his Son and daughter-in-law were having their first child.

"Right come on then, Naruto get Hitomi from the academy tell Iruka it's a family emergency" Minato said grabbing Kushina as they Hiraishined over to the hospital. Naruto himself went off on his errand. Kakashi and squad seven was left in a stupor

"Umm sensei can we leave now or what?" Sasuke asked.

"Yes my cute little genin, you may leave" Kakashi replied disappearing in a swirl of leaves. Itachi then changed into a flock of crows who flew off towards the Uchiha compound, Sasuke, Sai and Sakura left through the door and let the secretary know that the hokage had to leave because of a family emergency

-At the hospital a few hours later-

Coincidentally it was when all of the family was gathered when Tayuya started giving birth. Of course although it was painful Tayuya was quite content as the epidural did its job

"Alright I can see the head crowning, Tayuya I need you to give me a few more pushes okay" Shizune said. Tayuya nodded her head too tired to say anything. She then staring yelling again trying to push to help the baby

"Come on Koishii, push, push" Arashi said trying to comfort his wife.

It then became quiet until Arashi and Tayuya heard, to them, the most beautiful sound, the sound of a baby crying

"Congratulations Tayuya, it's a girl" Shizune said handing Tayuya her baby daughter,

Tayuya cried tears of joy gazing upon her daughter, she was the most precious thing she has ever seen, her precious little girl had beautiful brown eyes in a cute pudgy face with scarlet red locks topping her head and to top it off the little girl had three whiskers on each of her cheeks

"Oh look at her Anata, she's beautiful" Tayuya cooed holding her baby close to her face

"Just like her mother" Arashi said kissing his wife on the forehead

"Have you decided on a name" Shizune asked writing stuff on a clipboard. Tayuya looked at her daughter and smiled warmly

"Erza, Uzumaki Erza" she said, Arashi smiled as well

"Alright then, now Tayuya I'm going to need you to hand little Erza over to me as we need to just check a few things but I'll have Arashi come with me and he'll bring her right back along with Erza's special crib okay" Shizune told Tayuya who nodded while wiping away the sweat and tears that had accumulated on her face.

"Don't worry Tayuya she'll be back in no time." Shizune smiled seeing the look of worry in her face.

When Arashi left the room after Shizune he was swarmed by his family, all asking about the baby, if Tayuya was okay, yadda, yadda, yadda. Well Arashi looked at his parents mainly and smiled a smile, one Minato was familiar with as it was the one of a newly made father,

"As a few moments ago Tayuya gave birth to a baby girl, whom we named Uzumaki Erza" he told them

Arashi then left his parents and siblings to comfort and look after Tayuya while he went to his daughter.

Arashi found the nursery and had no trouble finding his little princess. As they had finished all their tests so she was ready to be taken back to her mother,

Arashi went up to Erza as Shizune left the room to go check up on Tayuya, Arashi looked upon his daughter and tried to hold back the tears as he gazed upon her

"Hello my little Erza" he said smiling at her "I'm your daddy"

Little Erza on some level recognized his voice and stopped her crying as her father picked up and held her close to him

"My precious little Erza know that no matter what I will always love you and protect you, no matter what you decide in life I will be right behind you as your loving father" he said kissing her on the forehead "now let's get you back to your mother"

Making sure he was carrying her properly he walked back to Tayuya's room, walking in he saw his family in the room

"Everyone meet little Erza-hime" Arashi sad smiling that fatherly smile as he looked down to his daughter

"Oh my god she's so cute ttebane" Kushina said looking at her granddaughter, "she's the perfect blend of her parents"

It was true, little Erza had her father's eye shape, her mother's hair and eye color as well as the same shape of face as Tayuya as well,

"Wow she's so tiny ttebayo" Naruto said looking at his niece, he wasn't there to see his little sister so he didn't know how big babies were when they were first born

"Of course she is, squirt she was just born" Tayuya said smiling at her brother-in-law. Hearing her mother's voice Erza started to cry as she became hungry, and Tayuya knew it. "Alright people out, Erza-chan needs to be fed now"

Kushina shooed everyone out to leave the young parents alone.

"Sochi, Musume we're heading home okay and again congratulations you two, you have a beautiful baby girl" she said smiling motherly at the young parents "I'm proud of you two"

"Thank you kā-chan, we'll see you later" Arashi said lying next to his wife who was busy breast-feeding their daughter and cooing at the baby

-A month later-

Hikari was heading to the main gate to collect the traffic reports for her father. As she was walking along her thoughts began to drift to the events that had happened since her niece was born.

When she was brought home, Tayuya and Arashi came back to the Senju house. As was tradition to give Tayuya time to recharge and relax, Kushina and Minato helped every step with no hesitation as was their duty as grandparents.

During Ezra's Oshichiya or naming ceremony they gave their granddaughter a lovely ceramic plate, her name was inscribed in kanji by Minato, and as she was the new Uzumaki heiress the plate had pictures of whirlpools.

Arashi spent his time devoted to his wife and child but he had several shadow clones busy building the new Uzumaki compound. As he took his mother's clan name he took the responsibilities of clan head, as such he needed a new compound for his children to grow in, and if survivors turn up, a place where they too can settle down.

Today however Arashi and Tayuya were currently visiting the Shinto Shrine as was custom so as to allow the baby to get used to the surrounding spirits and guards, especially the Uzumaki's guardian kami Susanoo, the kami of storms.

Another memory that came to Hikari's fore thoughts was when Naruto had to talk with Ino about their relationship. For a while now Naruto's feelings for Ino went from his crush to those of close friendship however there was no attraction for anything more to develop. So Naruto asked Ino to meet up on top of the monument mountain, there he told Ino how he treasured his friendship with her and how he didn't want to risk it to try and start a relationship together. Surprisingly enough Ino was most understanding, however she was still upset as she herself thought there was something more.

Naruto then went to Karin and told her although he was attracted to her and he would like to pursue a relationship with her in the future, he told her how before he thought of anything like that he wanted to focus on his training and making sure he could protect his most precious people. She understood his ambition but told him he didn't have to shoulder everything.

Anyway after that Jiraiya who overheard his conversation, told him he had a training trip for him in the works, one like he took Minato on before the third Shinobi war. Of course when Kushina first heard about it she said no, absolutely not, Minato was for it as it would give Naruto a chance to see the world. They were still debating it but Jiraiya was winning as he said Naruto needed to up his A game with the Akatsuki on the loose still.

Hikari focused back on reality as she approached the main gate and saw Izumo and Kotetsu who were on duty once more

"Hey Hikari-sama, how are things" Izumo asked shaking his buddy awake as Hikari approached them

"I'm fine" Hikari said with a smile "can't complain really, anyway Otō-sama sent me here for the traffic logs for the week, can I get them off you please"

"Sure no problem Hikari-sama" Kotetsu replied

"Muu, knock it off with the sama crap ttebane" Hikari said puffing her cheeks out, she hated it when people referred to her as sama, as it was because she was the Hokage's daughter

"Of course Hikari-chan we were just teasing you, anyway here are those reports you wanted" Izumo said handing the reports over

"Thanks you guys" Hikari said smiling once more, the two guards sweat-dropped at the girl's sudden change in mood, 'like mother like daughter' the two thought to themselves

"Excuse us but is this where visitors are to sign in" came a new voice, causing the three to turn to the origin of said voice, and the three gasped as standing there was Ryu and who appeared to be his parents

"Ryu-kun" Hikari said running over to the man and hugging him "you came"

"Well of course I did, I wouldn't want to make you sad, by not coming, and I wouldn't be able to live with myself" Ryu said smiling warmly making the girl blush

"Oh my, what a lovely young lady you've met Sochi and she's an Uzumaki to boot" a woman said coming over and looking Hikari up and down

"Okā-chan of course she's beautiful she is the clan heiress" Ryu replied "Hikari-chan this is my mother Izumi Uzumaki and my father Yoshimitsu Uzumaki"

"It's an honor to meet you Hikari-sama" Yoshimitsu said bowing his head in respect

"Yes same for me" Izumi said

"It's nice to meet you too" Hikari said bowing as well "however I'm afraid to say I'm not the clan heiress, my niece is, my older brother Arashi is clan head and took his new-born daughter to the Shinto shrine today but he should be back later today"

"Oh well sorry for the misunderstanding then, it's just we knew that Kushina-sama was sent here and we just thought you might have been her only child as we heard she passed away" Izumi said looking a tad but sheepish

"Don't worry about it" Hikari said rubbing her neck nervously, she then told her everything that has happened up till now explaining everything to them as she took them to the hokage tower to apply for citizenship.

She was finished telling them everything when they entered the Hokage's office

"Tō-chan I've got the week's traffic reports" Hikari said walking into the office, Minato looked up from his paperwork to see Hikari and three more people walking into his office, Minato smiled at seeing his eldest daughter

"Thank you Musume-chan" Minato said smiling warmly at his daughter taking the reports off her. He then turned to the newcomers and smiled "hello and welcome to Konohagakure, I'm Senju Minato, Yondaime Hokage and Hikari's father"

"Hello Hokage-sama I'm Uzumaki Yoshimitsu, this is my wife Izumi and my son Ryu" Yoshimitsu said bowing with Izumi and Ryu following suit.

"Ah so this is Ryu, well my boy you have my thanks for helping out my daughter in her mission, and my wife will be glad to know more Uzumaki survived" Minato said smiling at them

"Thank you hokage-sama we are glad as well to know Kushina-sama survived as well, your daughter also tells us your son is the new clan head" Yoshimitsu replied

"Ah yes my eldest Arashi was actually asked to be clan head of the Senju clan but he felt that my youngest son Naruto was more suited to lead the Senju seeing as my son Naruto possesses his great-grandfather's Mokuton" Minato said nodding his head "Hikari-chan can you show our guest to the Senju clan grounds I'm sure they are tired from their journey"

"Hai Tō-chan" Hikari said bowing and smiling "follow me please" she said turning to her newest friend and his parents

"Lead the way Hikari-chan" Ryu replied smiling as well, his parents had mirthful smiles on their faces as the four of them left Minato's office.

When they left Minato was left pondering over the new boy Ryu,

"Hmm, well I'll Give him a chance, he is respectful and polite, plus if I sensed the vibes from Izumi correct then she raised him to be a gentlemen like Kushina has done with Arashi and Naruto, but if he hurts my little girl then kami have mercy on him, cause I won't" he said laughing a bit menacing at the end making his ANBU guard sweat-drop at his overprotective nature and antics

-Later at the Senju compound-

Hikari and her guest had finally reached the Senju compound, as Izumi and Yoshimitsu had wanted to look around konoha first before going to the compound.

As they entered Hikari could hear her mother cooing and giggling, evidence that her older twin had concluded his business at the shrine and returned here.

"Taidama," she called out, Kushina who had got up to get a drink from the kitchen,

"Okaeri nasai, Musume" Kushina said smiling warmly at her daughter however she then gasped as she saw who was with her

"*gasp* Izumi-chan" she exclaimed embracing her long lost relative in a hug "oh my kami it's so good to see you"

"It's good to see you again Kushina-sama" Izumi said smiling with a twinkle in her eye, Kushina puffed her cheeks

"Mou Izumi-chan, I told you when we were kids not to give me that sama crap" she said

"Yes and I said that as the clan heiress as well as the heiress to the head family or royal family, it was only proper for me to call you sama" Izumi said smiling mirthfully "all that aside it is good to see you again Kushina-chan" she finished embracing Kushina in another hug

"So I see you have a family of your own, with Yoshimitsu no less" Kushina said returning the smile "you two were always close back in Uzushio"

"Of course," Izumi said "And this our son Ryu" Izumi said gesturing her son to bow to Kushina, which he did

"Konnichiwa Kushina-sama, it's a pleasure to meet you" Ryu said politely as he bowed

"Konnichiwa Ryu-kun, the pleasure is mine, and I must thank you for helping my musume in her time of need" Kushina said returning the bow and smile

"It seems my musume has found the one her red string of fate as chosen for her" she added smiling mirthfully, thus of course had her intended effect of making Hikari blush,

"Kā-chan stop, that's so embarrassing ttebane" Hikari said her face an atomic red

"Maa calm down musume-chan, it's naturally for a mother to be ecstatic her daughter is turning into a woman dattebane" Kushina said making a calming gesture with her hand. "Anyway you guys must be tired from your travelling, please come and sit down in the living room" she said gesturing towards said room.

The five went into the room to find Tayuya tending to her daughter, who was giggling in joy

"Tayuya, where has Sochi gone to" Kushina asked looking around for her eldest child

"He just went to the Uzumaki compound to check on his clones" Tayuya said looking up

"Tayuya, this is Ryu and his parents, Izumi and Yoshimitsu" Kushina said gesturing to the three "And this is my daughter-in-law and the new matriarch Tayuya and her daughter Erza" she finished gesturing to her daughter-in-law and granddaughter

"Umm konnichiwa, it's nice to meet you" she said bowing her head at seeing Ryu and his parents

"The pleasure is ours Tayuya-sama, and I must say what a beautiful little girl you have" Izumi said smiling warmly bowing her head as well, her husband and son

"Thank you," Tayuya smiled back "And please just Tayuya, I'm not for the sama-crap either, especially as I was a Tatsumaki before I married Arashi-koi"

"Oh but I must insist dear, it's only proper as you are now the matriarch of the main head" Izumi said shaking her head "And I could care less if you were a branch family Hyūga, you married the clan head of the main branch of Uzumaki"

"Fine" Tayuya said pouting making her daughter giggle at her antics, which in turn made Tayuya smile warmly at her daughter

"Taidama" came three voices from the hall as the Minato, Arashi, Hitomi and Naruto came in, Arashi walking over to his wife and daughter getting a quiet 'Okaeri' from Tayuya

Again introductions were made for Arashi and Naruto, and the two boys gave a quick glare to Ryu to make it known they were onto him making the poor guy sweat a little, this in turn made Hikari glare at her brothers.

"So Arashi-kun, how goes the building" Kushina asked her eldest

"It's going grand, the main house is finished and ready for us to move into, and a few of the other houses are ready as well" Arashi replied, he then turned to Ryu "Do you and your parents plan on staying or are you just visiting"

"Actually we came to ask if we could re-join the clan and live here" Ryu replied looking at Arashi

"Well I don't see a problem, I've been actually been looking to see about searching for any lost kinsmen and bringing them back here" Arashi said smiling, he then turned to his father "Otō-san would do you think"

"There's no problem, in fact as this is more of a clan matter than I really have no say whatsoever as hokage." Minato said smiling as well

"Thank you very much Arashi-sama, hokage-sama" Yoshimitsu and Izumi said smiling at the two blonds, Naruto, Kushina, Hikari and Hitomi whooped in joy

"Maa just Minato, I'm not on duty right now" Minato said smiling sheepishly

"And I ain't one for titles either ttebayo" Arashi said mirroring his father's expression, only for Izumi to give him the lecture as to why she wouldn't just call him Arashi

"Alright then, later I can show you to your new home" Arashi replied smiling "Like I said, my clones managed to finish a good number of houses in the Compound"

"Thank you again" the three additions to the family said

"And Arashi-sama, if you want I can get in touch with a few more Uzumaki and tell them to come here if you want" Izumi said looking to her new clan head

"That would be great, the more the merrier" Arashi said smiling that broad grin of his that threatened to split his face

"Of course," Izumi said bowing her head making Arashi sigh a little,

'This is going to take some getting used to' he thought to himself

"I will send out the message tonight then, and again congratulations on your daughter, she is the cutest little baby I have ever seen" Izumi added smiling at the young man

"Thank you Izumi-san" Arashi said smiling back.

The rest of the evening went well, as the families got to know each other more, especially Hikari and Ryu. When it came to show Yoshi, Ryu and Izumi where they will be living and the rest of the family, the Uzumaki district, they were amazed, the Uzumaki district was similar to the Uchiha district however the houses were more spaced out, the clan head's house sat on a small hill overlooking the district, beside it was a gorgeous White Sakura tree, with a pound next to it. There was a few buildings that were built specifically for clan shops, and all over the district was the Uzu swirl on everything from the wall surrounding the district to the lanterns that littered overhead along the streets

Ryu and his parents were shown to a house near enough to the head house, it was a medium size house with garden, and the family thanked Arashi once more, with Arashi saying it was no problem. He then showed Tayuya their new home while his parents took care of Erza. Tayuya was overwhelmed with happiness at seeing her own house she was going to be sharing with her husband and children.

A couple of days later Hikari and Ryu had dinner together at the Golden Sycamore, a very fancy restaurant, suffice to say they enjoyed the date and decided to pursue a relationship with each other, none the wiser of Arashi and Naruto spying on them making sure the guy tried nothing, given special anbu masks for their assignment from their father.

-One month later-

Now it had been another month passed. Everyone was enjoying the weather, their lives and so on. Arashi and Tayuya were very proud parents at the moment, as Erza had spoken her first word, to Arashi's great pleasure was 'papa', she also learned to walk, her first steps was to Tayuya, who had the of bragging that time.

In other news more Uzumaki have re-joined their kin in konoha, celebrating that the main family survived, much to Kushina's and Arashi's embarrassment. Erza of course giggled and clapped at all the attention she was getting as the heiress. The Uzumaki district was bustling with people now, Arashi had finished it sometime after he and Tayuya moved into the main house.

What surprised everyone was when Jiraiya's students Nagato and Konan and a revived Yahiko came to Minato and confessed everything about Akatsuki, they also asked for amnesty and to join the Uzumaki, Minato was hesitant however it was found out that Nagato was actually Kushina's younger Brother who she lost when they were being evacuated, of course Nagato didn't remember this as he was just a baby, but Kushina did as she was five at the time. Anyway her brother was then accepted as well as his associates, it was also a tearful reunion between the Ame trio and Jiraiya.

Speaking of Jiraiya, he was finally given the green-light on his training trip with Naruto, they were actually leaving today and we find them and their close family at the main gate to konoha.

"And remember Naru-chan Make sure that you bathe every day and stay warm… Also... Don't stay up late... You need lots of sleep" Kushina said between sobs

"Hai kā-chan" Naruto said also struggling to hold his tears back

"Remember that everyone has strengths and weaknesses…So don't get too depressed if you can't do something well…" she continued

"Hai kā-chan"

"And this is important… It's about the Three Prohibitions for a shinobi…
Be extra careful about lending and borrowing money…No alcohol until you're twenty… Too much can ruin your health, so drink in moderation… Another Prohibition is women…I'm a woman, so I don't know too much about this but… All you need to remember is that this world is made up of men and women…So it's natural to take an interest in girls… But just don't get hooked on bad women and don't listen to your grandfather on this subject… Find someone just like me…" Kushina finished wiping her tears, she hugged her baby boy getting a few stains on his vest.

"Already have kā-chan" Naruto said smiling at Karin, who blushed, over the past weeks the two have gotten closer, no thanks to Naruto who was still headstrong in training first, however thanks to her stubborn will like most Uzumaki, Karin managed to get his attention and dragged him out on a couple of dates before he had to leave today

"Naruto, remember to listen to your grandfather, especially when it concerns your training, and most importantly remember what your mother told you and know that we are proud of you" Minato said smiling at his son

"You got it tou-chan" Naruto said hugging his father

"Jiraiya you make sure you bring him back in one piece, do you hear me" Kushina said staring her father-in-law down with a glare that could freeze hell

"O-of course Kushina-chan, don't worry about a thing" Jiraiya said chuckling nervously, this women scared him to death worse than Tsunade sometimes. "Alright Gaki let's hit the road" he said turning to Naruto

"Roger Ero-jī-chan" Naruto said saluting, with Jiraiya muttering about 'wise-ass gakis', with that the pair started to head out, however Naruto stopped as he heard his name called, turning around he saw Karin run towards him, when she reached him she kissed him passionately on the lips, while initially shocked he begun to kiss back, after a few seconds they broke the kiss needing air

"Just remember Naruto-kun to come back safe to us, or else I'll bring you back from the dead and kill you myself" Karin said weakly glaring at him towards the end of her statement

"O-of course Karin-chan, I would never do something to hurt you, just remember while I'm gone that I love you and I'll miss you" Naruto said smiling warmly at her, Karin gasped as he said he loved her, tears formed in her eyes as she hugged him tightly

"I love you too Naruto-kun, and I'll miss you too," Karin whispered she let go of him and gave him one last kiss on the cheek and walked back towards the others

"Alright Romeo let's hit the road" Jiraiya said smirking at his grandson.

With this the two finally began to walk off into the distance, not to return for another three years, well that is the plan anyway, but then again Naruto had plans of his own especially after now as he would miss Karin even more know that his feelings for her have been recognized and returned. He didn't know it at first but he started to fall for Karin two months ago shortly after his niece was born. It helped that Karin basically dragged him on dates.

Meanwhile Minato and his family returned to their lives confidant that Naruto and Jiraiya would return, the former much stronger and confident in his abilities.

-2 years later (second to last time-skip bear with me)-

It has been Two years since Naruto has departed in his trip with Jiraiya, the trip has been productive, Naruto was much stronger and was getting closer to surpassing his great-great-grandfather Hashirama, it was taking him a long time but he was training his ass off to get as strong as possible to become the best hokage he could be and be able to protect his precious ones.

Back in the Village it has been busy as well, the rest of the rookie twelve have made chuunin, Shikamaru, Sasuke, Neji and Karin have made jōnin, as they got serious too. Hitomi had graduated and was placed under the care of Anko, who was urged to become a sensei from her friends. Hitomi and two of her Uzumaki kin made up team Mitarashi.

Hikari and Ryu had gotten married last year during spring, it was a happy occasion for the couple as they felt it was right and something they wanted wholeheartedly. Hikari also gave birth to her firstborn, her son Hitoshi, who she loved dearly and wasn't seen without him.

Itachi was welcomed back hesitantly, as one would expect to be honest, however after the revelation of the truth behind the Uchiha massacre, or its new title of the Failed Uchiha Coup de tat. Additionally Itachi learned not to cross his mother ever again, yes she knew she had to be killed during the massacre as she wouldn't betray her husband, however she did not condone Itachi's actions on his younger brother, her punishment was her own version of the Tsukiyomi, his torture was 72 hours of the time he was a baby and his mother had him in a kitty pyjama onesie and he was cooed at by every women in the Uchiha district. He still shivered uncontrollably from time to time, anyway lately he had been getting real close to Hana Inuzuka with help from Arashi and Obito, well more like they pushed him into her one day and they began to talk, they found similar interests and took a chance on beginning a relationship. Suffice to say they have been going out ever since.

Sasuke had mellowed out since his seals were removed. He was helped by a girl he had helped with Naruto on a mission sometime before he left on his trip. Sasuke, Naruto and Karin accompanied Anko Mitarashi to the land of sea where an old base of Orochimaru was still active. When they arrived there they came across a girl named Isaribi who was experimented on by a scientist by the name of Amachi. She was difficult at first as she was working for him as she believed Amachi's lie he could reverse her mutations. However once Amachi was confronted all her hopes were smashed as he said he would never undo the magnificence that was her mutations. Sasuke felt bad for her and told her that Naruto's grandmother was the best medic Nin in the elemental nations. They eventually managed to convince her to come with them, and when they returned to konoha she was examined by Tsunade and Shizune who had said that her road to recovery was long but painful, they estimated three years and were making good progress, Sasuke was with Isaribi every step of the way, slowly but surely falling for her

Sakura had begun training in genjutsu under Kurenai after being recommended by Kakashi, originally she had wanted to become a med Nin, however Kakashi told her she had more aptitude for genjutsu.

Today however focuses on Arashi and Tayuya. The young heads of the Uzumaki clan have been enjoying parenthood these past two years. Little Erza has been one of the best things to come into their lives, she was very intelligent for her age. Tayuya was enjoying motherhood, she found out she was pregnant once more and was ecstatic, Arashi had the biggest shit-eating grin on his face for the longest time after she told him, and Erza was excited she was going to be a big sister.

Anyway we find Arashi walking through the Uzumaki district on his way home after reporting in his successful mission, he recently went on a mission with Itachi to guard the prince of moon country on his adventures. Arashi had to deal with the prince's brat of a son, but it was long forgotten when he returned. The only thing on his mind now was getting back home.

As he strolled home he was greeted by his fellow clansmen who greeted him with smiles and waves, Arashi returned the greetings and waves, it brought joy to his heart to see his clan prospering once more, growing up he always wanted to bring the Uzumaki back to the top, hence why he gave the responsibility of restoring the Senju to Naruto.

Walking up to his house Arashi was met with the sight of his partner Kurokaze out playing with his kits. The eldest of the kits a scarlet vixen with a black coat like pattern on its fur hand bonded with Erza as the two were inseparable after she turned two and Kurokaze and Senritsu were allowed to leave the Senju compound and live with their owners/partners. The little kit was known as Scarlet.

Arashi walked through the front door and took off his sandals and put his slippers on.

"Taidama" he said entering the living room.

"Okaeri nasai Anata, We're in the kitchen" Tayuya called from the kitchen, the smells of miso soup assaulting his nose as he entered the kitchen,

"Papa" called Erza who was sitting at the table but ran to him after she spotted him.

"Hello my little Erza-hime" Arashi replied smiling as he picked her up and gave her a kiss on the forehead "have you been good for Kā-chan"

"Mhmm" she hummed nodding her head hugging her father as he walked over to Tayuya who was busy preparing ramen for lunch, Tayuya quickly turned her head to kiss her husband

"How did the mission go Anata" she asked finishing up and filling three bowls

"It was alright, there wasn't much trouble, but the prince's son was a brat, I mean he was so snobbish i though I was just going to drop the kid in a hole or something ya'know" Arashi said sitting at the table with Erza climbing on his lap. "Besides that the mission went okay and we have a possible trade treaty with moon country, anyway how were things while I was away?"

"Things have been fine" Tayuya said sitting down after placing the bowls on the table "I have my first appointment with Shizune today to check on how the baby is doing,"

"Is that today" Arashi asked looking towards his wife

"Yup, it's at 4 so we need to bring Erza to Okā-chan and Otō-chan's before we head over, as they said they would watch for us" Tayuya said smiling

"Alright then" Arashi said as he finished his ramen and helped his daughter eat hers. After breakfast was done Arashi cleaned the dishes as Tayuya brought Erza upstairs to wash up and change into her clothes for the day

At 13:00 they headed to the Senju compound to leave Erza with her grandparents. As they walked through the district they were greeted by the rest of the clan, Erza was giggling all the way as she was complimented on how big she was getting and whatnot.

Soon enough they exited the Uzumaki district and headed to the nearby Senju compound. As they entered the house they announced their present.

"Hello Sochi, Tayuya, we're in the sitting room." Came the voice of Kushina. Complying with her Arashi and Tayuya headed into the room to find Kushina with Hikari and her little one Hitoshi.

"Hello nii-chan" Hikari said with a warm smile, after getting meeting, falling in love, and marrying Ryu, Hikari had calmed down much from her hyper self from before. Now a mother she was even more so.

"Hello imōto, Kā-chan, how are you doing" Arashi said, returning the smile

"Bābā" Erza exclaimed seeing her grandmother while waving making the woman giggle at her actions,

"Hello little Erza-chan, how are you doing today" Kushina said taking the girl into her arms as Tayuya handed Erza over.

"Fine, kā-chan and papa are going to the hospital to check on my new otōto or imōto" Erza replied with a wide grin

"Is that so" Kushina asked with a smile, Erza just nodded her head

"So kā-chan any word from jījī or Naruto" Arashi asked sitting down in one of the recliners. Occasionally they would get a letter from either Jiraiya or Naruto telling them how they have been and how Naruto is getting on his training, of course Karin and Kushina where the ones normally waiting around for the letters. Recently Naruto and Jiraiya were sent on a mission to Suna to help them with these warriors that didn't look like ninja at all, they didn't even know what chakra was. However Naruto made a friend out of this Temujin guy, who showed him his people's style of swords and fighting with them. Suffice to say Naruto recently took up smithing.

"No we haven't heard anything from those two lately" Kushina said shaking her head negatively, a worried look came onto her face.

"How's Karin taking it" Tayuya asked concerned for her friend and relative.

"She is training herself a little too hard again, trying to keep her mind off it," Hikari replied, burping her baby, who let out a cute little burp.

"Hmmm well hopefully we'll hear something from them soon" Arashi said pondering the situation for a moment.

"Anyway I believe you two have a doctor's appointment you have to attend ne?" Kushina asked

"Yes and thank you for watching over Erza" Tayuya said giving Kushina a grateful smile.

"Of course I would be glad to take care of little Erza, we're going to have fun today aren't we Erza-chan" Kushina said smiling to her granddaughter

"Hai Bābā, and Hitoshi-kun and Hikari-obachan too" Erza said smiling much like her father.

"Of course, Erza-chan but after Hitoshi-kun has taken his nap, now nii-chan, Tayuya, you should head off towards the hospital, don't want to keep oba-chan waiting" Hikari said as she placed Hitoshi into the bassinet she had set up beside the couch. The bassinet was an Uzumaki one with special silencing seals that worked one way, i.e. nothing could wake the baby however the parents would be able to hear the baby crying, it was a closely guarded secret in the clan.

"Alright we'll see you guys later" Arashi said as he and Tayuya walked out of the house.

-Konoha hospital a couple of minutes later-

Arashi and Tayuya arrived at the maternity ward in the hospital and sat in the waiting area. As they began to wait they noticed the number of expecting parents, since they had Erza, the patriarch and matriarch of the Uzumaki clan noticed how more parents began to have children of their own, especially shinobi, Hayate and Yugao recently had their first child last year, and Anko who married Zabuza last year was now expecting their first child, it was weird at first for Haku although she got over it pretty quick and took to teasing Anko by occasionally calling her kā-chan, Hikari having rubbed off on her a little too much.

Any-who as they were waiting Arashi began to doze off, feeling a little tired until he heard someone calling him and Tayuya. Opening his eyes he saw Ino, the shy Hyūga, Hinata, Arashi believed, and Sakura coming mover to them

"Arashi-sensei, Tayuya-sensei how're you" Ino asked not having seen them for a while.

"We're doing fine Ino, how are you" Arashi asked looking at his student

"Please don't tell us you're expecting as well" Tayuya said with a smirk, not passing up the opportunity to tease the younger ones, enjoying them become sputtering messes with crimson faces.

"WW-what n-no of course not, we're too young to be having kids" Sakura sputtered out.

"Bullshit, I was seventeen when I had Erza" Tayuya said crossing her arms

"Yeah girls, remember you're kunoichi, we live dangerous lives, we can't afford to have the ideal life like a civilian," Arashi said

"Well I guess you're right" Ino admitted.

"Of course we are, we are your sempais now, so no more sensei, it makes me feel old" Tayuya said pouting

"So how is motherhood sempai" Hinata asked genuinely curious.

"It's been great" Tayuya said smiling warmly. "Of course it has had its up and downs, I mean I haven't gone on as many missions as I used to but that's more of blessing than a burden as when I do go on missions, I miss Erza terribly ya'know"

Arashi snickered at her verbal tic she got from hanging around his family too long

"Uzumaki Tayuya" a nurse called out

"That's us, it's been great seeing you girls," Arashi said waving to them as Tayuya dragged him into the room. The girls waved back as they left the hospital, they were visiting lee and Chōji who were in there suffering from some injuries sustained from training.

When entering the room the Uzumakis where met with Shizune getting the ultrasound ready,

"Ah hello Yūshi, Tayuya-chan, how are you" Shizune said greeting them as they walked in

"W-We're great oba-chan" Arashi said smiling at his aunt "how are things with you"

"All good, Okā-sama is grooming me for the head of the hospital, as she pans on retiring soon enough" Shizune said smiling grabbing the tube of gel "Now Tayuya I believe you know the drill"

"Of course," Tayuya said lifting her shirt exposing her swelling abdomen, she braced herself for the cold gel and wasn't disappointed as she shivered from the freezing gel. Shizune then boot up the ultrasound machine and started moving the wand device around Tayuya's belly to get an image of the baby. It was a few minutes but then all of a sudden Shizune gasped

"What is it, is the baby fine?" Tayuya asked getting worried now, Shizune woke from her shock and gave them a beaming smile

"No everything is fine, the babies appear to be perfectly healthy, just listen to their heartbeats" Shizune said, flipping a switch allowing the machine to let them hear the heartbeats and as shizune said two distinct heartbeats were heard loud and clear

"Congratulations its twins" Shizune said turning the monitor to Tayuya showing the image of the twins in the womb

"*Gasp* twins, oh that's so wonderful, right Anata" Tayuya said, asking her husband his thoughts

*THUD*

She looked over to him to find him passed out on the floor

"Huh I guess he was so overjoyed he fainted" Shizune said giggling.

-Time skip 2 years later [last one, I promise]-

Today was a glorious day in Fire Country. It was mild and not a cloud in the sky, we currently find ourselves a few miles outside Konohagakure with two men traveling towards said village or returning in their case.

One man was tall, roughly 6ft 3 with a large mane of white hair, red lines marked his face and he was dressed like a kabuki performer, the other was roughly 5ft 10 and appeared to be eighteen years old. He had a head of golden yellow spikes with a few hanging down the right side of his face, his head band keeping back a majority of the locks back, whiskers donned his cheeks and his cobalt eyes took in the sights. He was currently dressed in the standard konoha shinobi uniform with his khaki jōnin flak jacket, over this was a short sleeved Haori, similar however this man's jacket was a crimson red with black flames at the bottom unlike Minato's white with red flames [tale of a gutsy ninja Naruto appearance with Naruto's Haori from the fight with Pein].

This young man is Naruto Senju, youngest son to Minato and Kushina Senju and grandson to Jiraiya and Tsunade Senju, beside him was of course his grandfather Jiraiya, the two are of course returning from there training trip around the elementary countries.

"So Naruto ready to return home" Jiraiya asked his grandson. He was amazed by the growth in skill his grandson has made in the past four years, the kid had already surpassed his expectations.

The two were now walking through the gates of konoha, with Kotetsu and Izumo the gate guards waking up to see the pair walking up to the booth

"Ah Jiraiya-sama Naruto so good to see you again" Kotetsu said smiling

"Yeah, Karin has been asking if we've seen you every week since your last letter according to her" Izumo added

"Ah heheh well we kinda got held up in Suna, when I helped the Kazekage defend against Akatsuki. I also collected the bounty on Deidara the mad bomber to old man Ōnoki" Naruto replied chuckling sheepishly while rubbing the back of his neck.

"Anyway we need to go check in with your dad Naruto, we'll see you guys around" Jiraiya said as he and Naruto headed towards the hokage tower. Along the way people were noticing the two and began whispering about how Jiraiya and Naruto had returned.

"Tch, hey jījī, 200 ryō says the girls interrupt our meeting with Otō-sama 15 minutes in" Naruto said looking to his grandfather

"I meet that and raise it 300 and they bust in, the first five minutes" Jiraiya said with a smirk

"You're on jījī" Naruto said shaking his grandfather's hand. Jumping up not the roofs they made it to the hokage tower. Sneaking in through the windows they found Minato fast asleep, his paperwork for the day finished on his desk in front of him

"Wow if the job is this tiring then I think I should rethink on whether or not I should aspire towards it anymore" Naruto said smirking at his grandfather

"Tch why do you think I never went for it" Jiraiya said chuckling at his grandson's antics.

"Oh no you don't son, you're taking this hat and let me retire while I'm still young enough to enjoy it" Minato said looking up at his youngest son with a smile on his face "I see tou-san has manage to out-do himself once more,"

Minato got up from his desk and went around in order to hug his son properly.

"It's so good to see you Musuko, we've all missed you terribly" he said smiling

"I missed you guys too Otō-chan" Naruto said smiling back "And of course jījī out did himself, it is me we're talking about" he added with a cheeky smile.

"Yes, you always did manage to surprise us, even your Aniki was astounded with your progress when you were younger" Minato replied. "So how strong is he now Otō-san" Minato asked looking to Jiraiya.

"He'll give you a run for your money" Jiraiya said smirking. "He's low kage-level at best, and S-rank as of last year" he added throwing Minato a book "Page 47"

Minato opened the book to the page Jiraiya told him to and found what he was looking for

They're the Yonbi and Gobi by the way" Naruto said chuckling sheepishly

"Oh right then, did you meet any of the other Jinchūriki then" Minato asked, curious as to his son's travels

"Well we met Taki's jinchūriki Fū who contained Chōmei the Nanabi, Utakata and Saiken the Rokubi, Nii Yugito and Matatabi the Nibi and octopops Kirabi and Gyūki the Hachibi." Naruto said smiling "We also tried finding Isobu the Sanbi but we had no luck as he hasn't reformed yet according to Kurama"

"Ah right, and was there any trouble upon meeting the other jinchūriki." Minato asked

"No, before we went to see them, Kurama and I reached out to them using Kurama's link with the other Bijū" Naruto replied

"And what about Shukaku and Gaara" Minato asked

"They're doing fine, in fact the two made an agreement and got past their differences last year when I helped Gaara fight off Sasori of the red sands and Deidara the mad bomber, two less Akatsuki to worry about" Naruto replied with his large grin.

"Well I must say you have been busy" Minato said, he was going to ask Naruto something further but the door burst open and Kushina rushed in

"WHERE'S MY BABY BOY" she shouted at her husband

"Hi kā-chan" Naruto said waving to his mother catching to her attention

"NARU-CHAN" she said rushing and embracing him in a hug "oh I missed you so much my little fishcake"

"I missed you too kā-chan" Naruto said returning her hug, it was then Kushina noticed something, stepping back she took a good look at her son

"Oh my look how handsome you've gotten, and your taller now" she said looking up and down

"Thanks kā-chan" Naruto said blushing at the praise of his mother, he was stunned however by who came in next

Walking slowly into the office was Karin, who grew more beautiful since Naruto saw her last. She was slightly taller than Kushina, her hair style changed dramatically, before she had two distinct styles, one side was nice and straight while the other side was unruly and spiky, now however her hair was a little more tamed, it was overall straight but spiking at the ends, she changed her glasses to nice half frames giving her a sexy secretary look, she had grown more womanly, her curves showing modestly, and her generous bosom slightly straining beneath her chuunin flak jacket

"N-Naruto-kun" she whispered asking if he was really there or not.

"Hello Karin-chan, it's so good to see you again" Naruto said smiling warmly at the girl making her blush slightly as she hadn't expected him to become so handsomely sexy. Naruto walked up to her and brought her into a hug, he noticed he was head taller than her.

"Baka, Baka, baka, baka" she mumbled while thumping on his chest softly as she began to cry in happiness. "Don't you dare leave for that long again unless you plan on bringing me"

"You'll be the first to be asked" Naruto said, he then cupped her face in his hands and tilted her head up and gave her a kiss so passionate and loving she went weak in the knees.

"Huh guess absence really does make the heart grow fonder" Jiraiya said, chuckling at the two young adults. Hearing this the two in question broke apart and blushed crimson when they realized they were not alone. They turned to see a quietly squealing Kushina and a smirking Minato

"Should we be expecting more grandkids soon" Minato asked teasing the two. Karin blushed redder than her hair

"Shut-up Otō-Chan" Naruto mumbled glaring at the older blond

"Anyway let's head back home, you must be tired from the journey" Minato said brushing off his son's glare.

"And you must be hungry as well" Kushina said knowing from Minato that Jiraiya wasn't much of a chef, evident enough when Naruto's stomach growled.

With that the group headed towards the Senju house. As they walked the streets of konoha, the villagers all waved and welcomed the Senju heir back, making the poor boy blush from the attention,

As they were passing the Uzumaki district, explosions and sounds of fighting could be heard making Naruto raise an eyebrow, Kushina and Minato saw this and chuckled, Karin blushed in embarrassment

"It's the weekly all-out brawl, the clan likes to let loose now and again, and really it's just so embarrassing sometimes" Karin said shaking her head

"Sounds like fun" Naruto said a bit excited at the prospect making Kushina, Minato and Jiraiya guffaw with laughter at his statement

"Of course you would say that Sochi, you were always a bit of a brawler, you get that from me ttebane" Kushina said puffing her chest out in pride. The rest of the journey was made in comfortable silence

The Senju compound was a sight for sore eyes for Naruto it was just as homey looking as it was before he left. They entered the house and took off their sandals and went into the living room while Kushina and Minato went into the kitchen to prepare some lunch. Naruto and Karin went to sit down while Jiraiya went upstairs to bed, travelling today was tiring for him, especially seeing as Naruto was being a pain in the ass asking if they were close yet every 5 minutes.

He told them all the people he helped like the Fūma clan which Minato nodded and told Naruto that they made it safely here after they left their old home as it was in danger from Oto.

Naruto then told them of times he had to prank Jiraiya, just to get them moving or training, or just because Naruto was bored, they all got a laugh outta that.

It was after a while that they heard new voices calling from the door, and in walked Arashi, Tayuya, Hikari and Ryu not to mention their kids. Naruto was surprised as he might have sent letters home but Karin was the only one to send him a letter back and she never mentioned anything about his older brother and sister having more kids

"Hey otōto, long time no see" Arashi said giving his little brother a smile, a blond little girl giggling in his arms "Reiko-chan say hi to your Oji-chan"

"Hiya Oji-chan" the little girl said suddenly becoming shy

"Hiya Reiko-chan, jeez Anika you and Tayuya have been busy" Naruto said shaking his little nieces hand. He was almost knocked over from another girl barrelling into him, looking down he saw a four year old Erza

"Hiya Erza-chan, wow you got big" Naruto said smiling at his eldest niece

"hiya Naruto-oji-chan, thanks for the present" Erza replied hugging her uncle, a while back it was Erza's birthday and Naruto knowing this sent his niece a present, it was a scroll however Erza wasn't allowed to open it until she was older,

"Hiya squirt, looks like you finally sprouted huh" Tayuya said walking up to the small group, in Tayuya's arms was a two year old boy with red hair and blue eyes, "say hi to your Oji-chan Satoshi-kun" she said, the little boy just waved and burrowed into his mother's shoulder becoming shy

"Satoshi and Reiko are twins by the way" Arashi said seeing the confused look on Naruto's face.

Next Hikari came over and hugged her younger brother, then introduced her kids, Hitoshi who was a year younger than Erza, and then the new-born twins Motoko and Miko.

The family conversed and Naruto and Karin, talked as well getting everything they wanted to say off their chests, however Naruto asked Karin if he could join her for a walk after dinner to which she agreed to.

Dinner was a simple affair, Tayuya and Arashi helped Kushina prepare a special Ramen for the occasion. Instead of him talking Naruto wanted to know what people got up to while he was away.

Arashi told him of the onba, these cute little creatures that turned into these huge monstrous beasts. Tayuya then told them about the guys who tried to pass themselves off as Rock Lee and Maito Gai in order to gain secrets about the village however they were played and subsequently put in jail.

It continued like this for a while until Naruto and Karin excused themselves and made their way outside. Walking hand in hand Naruto led Karin to the top of the hokage monument. The two sat down on grass and looked over the village, they had the perfect view made beautiful by the sunset casting an orange glow over it.

"Karin, these past four years, I done a lot of thinking and soul searching," Naruto said getting up to stand, Karin getting up as well was worried at what he was about to say.

"But during this trip, I came close to death a few times" he said eliciting a gasp from Karin, "and that made realize something" he paused and looked at Karin "in my darkest hour all I could think of was you, I know it sounds cliché, but honestly when we close to home I couldn't stop thinking about you and how I want to spend the rest of my life with you" he said, tears of joy began to form in Karin's eyes.

"Well yeah, but remember we're ninja and we never know when we could die and like I said I almost did several times" Naruto said smiling "Experiences like those really tend to give you an insight into what you want outta life, and I want to spend the rest of mind with you"

"Baka" she mumbled into his chest as she hugged him tighter. They stayed like that for a while longer until something Naruto said finally registered in her mind

"How exactly did you come close to death, you were supposed to be on a training trip not gallivanting across the world rescuing every old man and damsel in distress" Karin said fixing him with a glare

"Umm for a walk? And then we watched the sunset on the hokage monument," Naruto said trying not to laugh as he knew what his mother was trying to get at and he decided to tease her by playing the fool

"And?" Kushina asked getting annoyed, as evident from her tapping her foot and the twitch in her eyebrow.

"He proposed" Karin squealed caving into Kushina's demands, no longer able to hold it in, Kushina's mood change instantly as she squealed in happiness as well joined by Shizune, Honoka and Tsunade, Naruto was congratulated by his father and grandfather, special Sake was brought out by Tsunade for the occasion and a toast was made to the young couple and wishes for their eternal happiness.

"Thus leaving with this year's squad 7, Naruto you will be in charge of Sarutobi Konohamaru, Moegi and Udon" Minato said looking up at the jōnin smiling, Naruto himself was pleasantly surprised with this outcome, unlike with his team Naruto wouldn't have to test for teamwork as it was already there seeing as the three he was tasked with were already used to working together to wreak havoc via pranks.

"Now go and pick up your teams and report when you have passed them" Minato said dismissing them. The jōnin took off in various methods, some with the leaf shunshin, Sasuke used a lightning shunshin and Shikamaru used a shadow shunshin however Minato was surprised when Naruto was suddenly encase within a tree that suddenly sprouted from the floor and as soon as it came it disappear taking Naruto with it.

The genin teams were waiting patiently for their senseis to arrive as Iruka told them they would after the lunch break. Konohamaru and his friends were excited as they got their senpai as their team sensei, it was the main reason behind them staying back a year.

Anyway as they were about to doze off due to waiting, the classroom jumped due to Sasuke appearing in a flash of lightning, with a thunder clap thrown in for extra, Shikamaru then appeared from a shadow in the wall and Neji appeared in a normal shunshin. "Alright, now this is the part where we introduce ourselves and what not but seeing as we already know each other we can skip that part, I also then tell you how you aren't genin yet and how the test was to weed out those who don't have the ability to become proper ninja." Naruto said causing the genin to cry in outrage. "Hang on and let me finish [Konohamaru and Udon reddened in embarrassment] now normally we give genin a test to see if they can work together, however seeing as I know you guys can work together, we won't bother with that, however we need to do something so what you're going to do is take these balloons and try and hit me you have till six to hit me" Naruto said grinning. The Konohamaru corps were also grinning madly

"You're going down boss" Konohamaru said

"Bring it Kono" Naruto said, "You start now" he said blurring out of sight as he sped away. Of course he would give them some chance to try and hit him but he wasn't going down without a fight.

She had to resist to urge to squeal and hug her daughter upon seeing her adorably cute face as she concentrated. It was unbelievable but she had more chakra than most kage, not to mention the color of it was very strange. However the parents were thinking of this for a few seconds before they were overcome with pride for their daughter as she activated her chakra at such a young age

"Erza you can stop now," Arashi said still smiling proudly breaking his daughter's concentration, disrupting the aura making it disappear. Erza opened her eyes and looked to her parents and saw the smiles on their faces

"Did I do it papa" Erza asked looking at him still her face hopeful

"Yes you did Erza-chan, I'm so proud of you" Arashi said smiling warmly at his daughter, because he was still sitting he was unprepared for when his daughter talked him, this caused Tayuya to burst out laughing at the scene, this caused the father and daughter pair to look up to see her still laughing.

"Mama, mama, did ya see me, I did it" Erza babbled while still smiling broadly.

"Yes I did musume-chan, I too am very proud of you" Tayuya said smiling warmly at her daughter. "Now time to come inside you two, its dinner time"

"Alright then," Arashi said nodding his head with that he picked up Erza and they went inside for their dinner.

-With Minato-

The jōnin were one again standing in from of their hokage at attention. They were here to give their verdict on whether their teams had passed the test or not, all the teams bar Sasuke's, Neji's and Shikamaru's. Now it was time for Naruto's verdict

"Squad 7 pass with flying colors" Naruto said, he then chuckled, "Literally"

His joke was clear as reports of the third Hokage's grandson was jumping around throwing water balloons filled with paint at Naruto.

"Very good then, everyone but Naruto dismissed" Minato said letting the other ninja present disappearing in their shunshins.

"So what do you need me for tou-chan?" Naruto asked looking at his father questioningly.

"Well I just wanted to let you know that after you students are promoted to chūnin, I'll be starting your grooming to take over for me" Minato said receiving a shocked look from his son

"You mean…" Naruto stuttered.

"During the finals of the next chūnin exams, I will be announcing you as my successor" Minato said with a proud smile "Naruto you have shown outstanding leadership qualities before you left and have shown amazing progress in skills after returning. Of course I won't be handing the hat over immediately after announcing you as my successor but a year or two after that as we need you to learn all the procedures and whatnot"

"Tch no problem there" Naruto smirked "just be ready to hand that hat over Oyaji"

"I can still take you to school Musuko" Minato said as his eyebrow twitched, "Anyway I think it's time to go home"

Naruto nodded as Minato finished up the paperwork and handed it to his secretary as they headed out the door. It was a short enough trip home for the two Senjus and they were met with waves and good days from the villagers. However when they returned home Naruto and Minato were met with a grinning Kushina and an uncharacteristically shy Karin.

"Okaeri Mina-koi, Sochi, We have good news for you" Kushina said greeting them with her bright smile.

"Taidama Kushi-chan/Kā-chan" the blondes replied

"So what's the good news" Naruto asked smiling his broad smile while looking at his bride to be.

"Well lately I have been throwing up a lot so I went to Tsunade-obā-chan and had her check to make sure I wasn't coming down with something serious," she said getting shyer with each word

"Well are you okay, are you sick" Naruto asked quickly getting worried which brought joy to her heart knowing he was worried about her

"Y-yes I'm fine, I'm very healthy" Karin stuttered "but we found out I'm pregnant" she said smiling weakly and shyly, worried he might get upset.

"You're pregnant" he asked shocked to find out, Karin nodded her head confirming it Minato smiled warmly but was shocked as well, Naruto then broke out into a goofy grin "Heh I'm going to be a father"

He then ran up to his fiancé and hugged her and spun her around a few times eliciting an 'eep' from her while he chuckled gleefully. Nearby Minato and Kushina looked on with smiles on their faces, the two were happy there will be more additions to their growing family soon.

Karin herself was overjoyed and crying tears of happiness finding out her fiancé was thrilled to find out he was going to be a father. Was it a little too soon for them? Maybe if they were civilians but the truth is they are not, they are ninja and they don't have the comfort of time on their side when it comes to these matters. All Karin knew was her life was heading in a good direction and she wanted it to stay that way.

Meanwhile Arashi and Tayuya were putting their kids to sleep, they had put the twins down and were now tucking Erza into bed.

"Goodnight Erza-chan, sweet dreams my darling little tenshi" Arashi said kissing his daughter on her forehead.

"And remember that we are so proud of you Musume" Tayuya said kissing her daughter as well

"Thank you mama, papa, goodnight" Erza replied smiling tiredly at her parents as they exited the room. Erza fell asleep as soon as her head hit the pillow.

Arashi and Tayuya retired to their own bed and laid down snuggling together in the warmth of their covers. As they laid there Arashi couldn't help but smile as he remembered everything that has happened since he rescued Tayuya. He fell in love with the most wonderful woman, they got married, Tayuya gave birth to their children and their clan was thriving once more. It brought an even bigger smile to his face thinking of the future and what it may bring.

'Well one thing's for sure, it won't be anything dull' Arashi thought as he fell asleep.

Okay again let me apologize for taking so long with this. But like I said up top, I actually rewrote this chapter like eight or nine times before I was finally satisfied with it, sorry for breezing through the mission to snow and mentioning the other movies but I've only read the manga and only read about those missions in other fanfics. Also this chapter I wanted to focus on the relationships and Erza's birth.

Speaking of Erza. Yes she will be based partially on Erza Scarlet, I think I will have it either her equip magic is her special Uzumaki chakra ability like the chains or she creates the effect of it using fūinjutsu.
