A/N: Here's the second to last chapter everyone!

I DO NOT OWN LIFE WITH DEREK OR THE CHARACTERS.

Chapter Ten:

I walked into my room wearing just a towel. Everyone else was out, so I didn't think that I needed to bother with a robe. I had a hand towel in my hand and I was attempting to dry my hair, just enough, so it wouldn't drip down my back. I shut the door behind me and dropped down on my bed. I don't know why I'm so tired.

"Aren't you a sight for sore eyes?" Derek mused from the other side of my room. I jumped and fell off the bed. I sat up and rubbed my head. I glared at Derek, who was leaning against my closet doors.

"Jerk!" I hissed, as I got up. His eyes lit up and I groaned. My towel fell, when I fell. He was in front of me, before I knew it.

"Looks like Christmas came early." He breathed. He lifted me up and crushed his lips to mine. I moaned and he backed us up against my bedroom door. He locked it and dropped me onto my bed. "I hate that he kissed you." He growled.

"I hate that she kissed you." I moaned, as he mouth sucked on my neck. "Derek, stop. You're going to leave a mark and I don't need a lecture from mom." I gasped.

"Everyone needs to know that you're mine." He argued. I pushed him off of me and shook my head.

"I'm not yours, Derek. We're not exclusive and we both know that this is only temporary, because it'll never last in the long haul."

"Come on, Liz. Don't be so dramatic. We both know that this could work, if we weren't living here." He said, climbing on top of me.

"What are you saying?" I asked him, afraid of the answer.

"I'm saying that I got to university in a couple of months. We can sneak around. I'll have a dorm room and we can make it work. You only have a couple of years left here, Liz. I get that we won't have a conventional relationship. I won't have to keep up appearances after I move out and you can lie about who you're seeing and then fake a break-up, when Dad and Nora get suspicious. I'm willing to wait for you. You're worth the wait Liz."

"Derek…"

"I love you, Lizzie. I only want you. Let me show you."

"Show me?" I echoed. He nodded and started kissing a trail down my body.

I sauntered downstairs and got a glass of water. I winced a little as I walked. Ed and Casey were watching a movie. They both shot me suspicious glances. I looked at them and tried to make it seem nonchalant. Did they hear us? There's no way. We were so careful… I barely made a sound…

I carried my water upstairs and disappeared back to my room. I took a sip and Derek stole the glass from me.

"What's wrong?"

"I think they know, Derek."

"Who's they?"

"Casey and Edwin."
