DAY ONE-13 DAYS TO PROM NIGHT

GRAY AND JUVIA-SECOND PERIOD (English)

Second period was English and the teacher was running a bit late. Gray was down to a singlet and shorts as he took his place at the back of the class. On his left sat Juvia, who for once seemed preoccupied with something besides him. Her pen danced above the paper as she finished up her essay for fourth period's History, clear cursive handwriting filling up most of the paper.

"How the hell am I supposed to get her attention," muttered the now half naked Gray. He surveyed the classroom, watching and hoping for a chance to get her attention. English was the only period he had with her today and he would be too busy picking up discarded clothing off the floor in between lessons to find her. This morning he had overheard a bunch of guys planning on going tie shopping so that their dates' dresses would match. He hadn't a clue what Juvia's dress color was going to be. 'The sooner the better,' he figured.

Just then, his chance arrived. The blue-haired girl beside dropped her essay and he leaned forward to grab it. As he handed it back he put on the most charming smile he could muster (pretty much looks like a OMG I NEEDA PEE PLS HURRY smile) and said out the seven words, stuttering so badly he thought she wouldn't understand.

He squeezed his eyes shut in anticipation.

"Juvia would love to go to prom with Gray-sama."

He opened his eyes to see her warm smiling face and felt his cheeks turn bright red.

"But first," HIS STOMACH TIGHTENED, "will Gray-sama please take Juvia to the nurse's…THUMP."

Juvia landed face first on the floor. A panicked Gray scooped her up in his arms and sprinted to the nurse's office. With a giant triumphant grin on his face.

GAJEEEL AND LEVI-SECOND PERIOD (Chemistry)

"Oi shortie, c'mere and explain this damn question to me." With a sigh, the blue-haired girl walked over to Gajeel.

As she explained, all Gajeel could think about was how cute she looked in that orange shirt and jeans. The smell of her shampoo filled his head and couldn't help but stare at her as she went on to tell him various ways the question could be asked.

When she was finished she looked at him expectantly, finally satisfied with her lengthy explanation. An expression he found adorable. "I got another question for you."

She sighed at his lack of thanks for the previous question and smiled forgivingly. "Yes Gajeel?"

"Would you go to prom with me?" For a moment, time seemed to stand still around them. Gajeel watched her swallow nervously and Levi stared at him open-mouthed.

"Um y-yeah s-sure Gajeel." He grinned as she blushed furiously. Grabbing her hand he held it to his mouth and whispered. "Then would you please be my girlfriend?"

Levi looked as if she was about to faint. "I um I..huh?" "Just say yes you shortie." "Yes?" "Yes."

Thankfully they were at the back of the school laboratory and no one was paying attention to the class genius and bully as they shared a good thirty second kiss.

AFTER SCHOOL LUXBUX CAFÉ

"NO WAY!" Lisanna, Lucy and Juvia squealed. Cana chuckled, Mirajane giggled and Erza wondered whether she should congratulate Levi first or go off to kick Gajeel in the face for kissing the blue-haired girl. "I mean asking you to prom I saw that coming but, "said Lisanna. "Asking you to be his girlfriend and kissing you during class!" continued Lucy. "Juvia wonders whether or not Gray-sama wants Juvia to be his girlfriend," said the other blue-haired girl.

"You two are so lucky. Bickslow barely looked at me today." "I feel you Lisanna," Sighed Mirajane, "Freed took one look at me during lunch and ran off in the opposite direction."

"So Lucy, did you get asked by anyone?" "Same question to you Erza. Has Jellal found it in himself to ask the mighty Titania to prom?" The mighty Titania's face turned as red as her hair as she dug into her third piece of cake. "But no, neither Loki nor Natsu asked me out to prom today." Cana shook her head as well and the girls sipped their drinks quietly.

MEANWHILE AT THE ARCADE

"I can't believe you did what you did Gajeel. Levi could've been sent to detention had the teacher caught you." "Relax. You should focus more on what happens to your Titania. You haven't asked her have you?"

"So Natsu, I'm guessing you haven't asked Bunny Girl. Did Loki get to her first?" "I just want to make it work out smoothly iron head. I mean, look at ice head, Juvia spent half an hour in the nurse's office thanks to him." "I DIDN'T MEAN TO MAKE HER FAINT!" "Quiet, making a girl faint is not MAN." "Oh and not asking your own girlfriend to prom is?"

"Guys shut up. There's still plenty of time before prom. No need to panic," said Freed. Satisfied with the following silence he sat down and continued to worry on how to ask out Mirajane. He opened his fists and stared at his hands nervously. The other guys followed suit quietly
