Deleted chapter from Rio the Darkness 3
As always, spoilers on what I am about to say.
For those who read Rio the Darkness 3, as you aware, Blu and the Angelus defeated Nexus together and shortly after, Rico had a power to bring a life back which he used on Jewel instead to bring her back but did cost him his own life.
Long story short, in this Deleted Chapter, Rico had never returned to help. Instead, he was still an enemy.
"All I wanted was power..." Nexus said, as he slowly began speaking his last words, with his body leaking with dark essence, as he his body was slowly burning out.
"Wanting something does not give you right to take it." Blu explained, as he kneeled down to him, knowing that Nexus was dangerous, but he can't do anything now.
"What would you know?" Nexus asked, with a growl followed after.
"I know that when you want something, you earn it." Blu replied, with an angry face. "You wanted to be a God. A God does not enslave his people, he cares for them and shows respect."
"Respect?" Nexus scoffed, before managing to give a slight chuckle. "Pathetic people like them, don't deserve respect."
"They are not pathetic!" Blu yelled. "...You were too greedy, Nexus."
"You're still nothing but...A boy..." with that last word, Nexus slowly closed his eyes and hit the back of his head down on the ground.
Blu looked at him, before standing back up onto his talons. Blu picked up the Orb of Darkness, which has been laying near Nexus the whole time.
When he had the Orb in his wings, Blu began to walk back over to his friends; before he left, he took one quick look at Nexus's corpse and said: "O que você disser, Nexus. (whatever you say, Nexus)"
He did it. Blu and the Angelus had finally ended Nexus's rule against Rio once and for all and saved the Jungle. His rule was over once and for all.
But what would Blu do now? He would have to take care of his babies on his own for now on, and would forever be saddened now that the love of his life was gone...Forever.
Blu walked back over towards the Angelus, who was slowly healing her injuries with her healing ability. He had a request to ask for her while he looked down towards his talons. "Your Majesty...We did it...But I have a favor I need from you."
"Blu, I am willing to do anything for you after you just defeated Nexus and saved a lot of lives." the Angelus said, smiling a little on her beak. "How can I help?"
"I would like you to remove these tattoos from my me." Blu requested, not wanting to hold more power than he had to.
"Of course, Blu." the Angelus agreed, while using her powers to make a portal appear to take them back to the World of Light. "Let us go. My guards will take care of Nexus's body."
The Angelus and Blu moved towards the portal and jumped inside that would take them back to the World of Light. Once there, there was only three things Blu wanted to do.
Number one: have those tattoo's of his removed.
Number two: take his children back with him to his home.
Number three: give Jewel a proper burial at home so she can forever be at peace like she deserves.
And that is pretty much it for this deleted chapter. The next chapter continues on from this one. Stay tuned.
