Deleted Chapters

Hello, everyone, I'll make this quick: originally, in my story "Darkness Reborn", it was originally Blu who was suppose to be the one who got injured instead of Jewel, and he would be the one to defeat Nexus on his own. I thought I would make that idea into a short story to see what would happen. Enjoy the chapter, ladies and gentleman.

Nexus turned back around where Blu was helping Jewel standing back up onto her talons, and this was the perfect chance to catch both of them.

Using his powers, he raised his wing and prepared to fire a dark beam towards them. He did not intend to kill them now, but knew he could at least injure them. He aimed towards both blue macaws and prepared to fire until a light macaw stood his way where he accidentally shot him instead, and this caused the beam to also ricocheted against the macaw's staff towards the tree Blu and Jewel were standing under.

Heavy branches above the tree collapsed from the impact of damage, and this caused them to straight in the direction towards Blu and Jewel.

Blu, who saw the branches coming towards them, panicked and shoved his wife out the way, but he did not have enough time to move himself. He covered his body at the last seconds before he was hit upon impact.

Jewel could only watch as the huge branches crushed her husband, and this sent only the worse thoughts in her mind. "BLU!" she screamed as he flew towards the huge branches.

Rafael and older Blu made their way towards Jewel (who desperately tried to pull the branches away, hoping Blu was still alive), to save him.

"Guys, please help me!" Jewel begged, gaining some assistance from his friends as they all placed their wings around the huge branches and lifted them up enough to drag them away. "He's trapped under there!"

"We'll get him out, amigo!" Rafael assured, grunting slightly as he pulled one of the huge branches to the side. "He'll make it!"

After lifting a couple of the huge branches away, Jewel could only watch in shock when she discovered Blu, who was lying badly on the ground, just able to barely move. His left wing was cut open, and both of his talons were still trapped under a huge branch.

Jewel jumped behind Blu as she placed her wings under his wings and around his body, preparing to drag him to safety. "Guys, lift the tree while I pull Blu out!"

Older Blu and Rafael jumped to it and both struggled to lift the branch up for enough room for Jewel to drag Blu away to safety, even despite the fact he was heavier than her. It was now harder for both of them to lift since it was only the two of them, but they would not give up until he was safe.

Jewel finally dragged Blu away to see he was half-conscious, slightly in shock from the dramatizing experience of almost being crushed. She panicked as she held him up in his wings, shaking him slightly. "Blu, are you alright!?"

"Ugh...Ah...Oh..Jewel...My talons!" Blu spat out, groaning in agonizing pain as he clutched Jewel's wing with his good wing. "I think my talons are breaking"

Jewel looked towards his talons where she corrected his thoughts of them being broken. They were snapped out of shape, and this caused her to gasp in fear. She turned his attention back to Blu, stroking his head slightly to keep him calm. "Blu, sweetie, everything is going to be okay. I promise you-"

Blu could only watch as Jewel was suddenly restrained in mid-air, forcing both of her wings and talons to go as wide as they could go as she was turned around. He gasped when seeing Nexus bring her close with his telekinesis.

Nexus smirked as he placed his wingtip on her and stroked the side of her face while keep her still. "Hello there, my dear. Glad you are back from the dead. You still look as beautiful as ever."

"Let me go, Nexus!" Jewel demanded, trying her best to not show any fear towards him. She tried to move the best she could, but she could only move her beak and eyes.

Nexus appeared some sleeping dust into his wing and blew it towards Jewel's face, putting her to sleep in a matter of seconds. He let her go out of his powers and allowed two dark macaws to carry her and take her over towards the rest of the prisoners.

Most of the light macaws were dead, and those who remained had been forced to surrender. Those who remained such as: older Blu, older Jewel, Rico, Rafael, Eva, the blue macaw kids, the captain, and a couple of light macaws were on the ground with their wings placed above their head.

Nexus made his way over towards the injured blue macaw and stood over Blu, whom tried to lean up, but his many injuries made that impossible. He folded his wings together with a smirk across his beak. "Now, now, and what do we have here? You're talons and wing are not looking so good there."

"Ugh, the pain..." he groaned. Blu attempted to crawl away with her free wing, but in his condition, he could not move.

Nexus placed his talon near the top of Blu's face and with one powerful slam, he used his incredible strength to knock Blu unconscious. "Almost too easy..."

"Blu!" Jewel shrieked, as she was watching the entire thing from where she was being held hostage. She attempted to help her husband, but the dark macaws restrained her.

"He is alive. For now , anyway." Nexus assured, shifting his attention back towards his men, whom kept the hostages from doing anything stupid. "Men, prepare to take them back to the prison in our world. I'm sure the warden will have some fun with these prisoners. But as for the older Blu and Jewel, take them to my castle."

The dark macaws nodded as they forced older Blu and Jewel up and tied some rope around their wings to hold them together. They pushed them away from the other prisoners so they did not end up taking the wrong Blu and Jewel with them.

Nexus watched patiently as he watch his men use their powers to open up a portal back to the World of Darkness. He looked towards the sky where he laughed evilly; finally thinking he had won this war he had waited so long far. "It is over. There is no-one to stop me now, and soon, the power of a million souls will be mine!"

Well, this is just the start to the alternative story of "Darkness Reborn". I will try to get a chapter out daily. I am busy at the moment, so it may take a little while. Stay tuned for more.
