I do not own the characters of Dirty Dancing, nor do I own the movie. Let me know what you think of this story from me. Please do read and review this one, so I know if I must go on with it.
Early in the morning I woke up because Thom was calling for me. I stood up, putted my bathrobe on and went to his room. It was actually Lisa's old room but as she has moved out mom and dad furnished and decorated the room for Thom.
"Mommy." He smiled as he saw my face, I got an instant flashback to last night.
"Your smile makes me happy every day." As I lifted him up on my arms and he laid his little arms around my neck.
"Poopoo." He giggled and I looked at him.
"I can smell. Off we go." As I walked to the bathroom with him. Thom giggled and moved his legs and arms while I was cleaning him and putted his favourite onesie on.
He tried to put his fist into his mouth while I was talking to him, he was looking very serious at me like he was thinking about what to tell me. I smiled at him which made him smile too.
"Honey, you're ready? Breakfast is waiting!" Mum called.
"Coming mom!" I lifted my son up and went downstairs.
"Good morning darlings." Mum looked at Thom and me and smiled.
"Good morning mom and dad." I gave them a smile and putted Thom on his chair.
"Boo boo." He said as he clapped, my parents looked at him with a smile as I went to the kitchen counter to make him porridge.
"He's such a happy boy." As Jake sat closer to him and stroked his cheek.
"Boo boo." Thom said serious now and putted his fist in his mouth.
"He's hungry I guess." I looked at them and smiled.
"Yeah, he's very hungry. His porridge means everything to him." Jake smiled as I was whisking in the bowl. Marge looked at them and smiled too.
"Oh Baby." I turned to look at mum when she looked at Thom now.
"There's someone walking back and forth on the street, do you know who that could be?" I looked into the living room at the window.
"I don't know, will take a look." As she went to sit down.
"May I?" Jake asked and pointed at the porridge. I looked at him and my son and smiled.
"Sure. Here you go." Thom waved his little hands as he was watching the porridge and his grandfather.
"There you go." Jake said as he came with a spoon full of porridge and Thom already has his mouth open. Jake smiled as he looked how his grandson was eating.
I went to the living room to look out of the window as mum told me that there was someone walking back and forth. I pushed the curtain a bit aside and saw the guy pacing with his hands in his pockets.
I gave a sigh as it was Johnny. Then I remembered last night and smiled. I walked to the front door and Marge looked up.
"You know who it is?" I heard my mother asking.
"Yes I know, I saw him last night again after 2 years. I'm wondering why he's still here." As I was in the hallway.
I wanted to open the door when mom came into the hallway. I looked at her and saw the surprised face of her.
"Is that Johnny?" I only nodded and she started to smile.
"But that's something good isn't it?" She asked as I had my hand on the door knob, I gave a sigh and looked at the floor.
"I don't know mum. I mean, I just went for a drink yesterday and I have decided I'm going to take that job in London. Then Johnny is back and I have no idea what I must do about it." Mum looked careful at my face.
"But you missed him and you are glad he's back, I can see it on your face." She was still smiling.
"Yes I am glad he is back and there's nothing more what I want then him meeting his son. I need time." I opened the door a bit now.
"Well, you probably have time before you will move to London, use the time to see what he wants and if he wants to stay and fight for you." I gave a sigh as I thought.
"But what if he wants mum? I'm going to move, what am I supposed to do?" I was confused and mum came to me to give me a hug.
"You will figure it out." She whispered in my ear and let me go again.
"Well off you go then." I went outside and walked to the sideway. Johnny stopped as he has seen me coming out of the house.
He rubbed his hands on his pants and gave a sigh as I crossed the road. I wasn't really dressed and he looked at me and swallowed once.
"Hey, what are you doing here?" I'm being curious because I thought he wouldn't be here anymore after last night.
"Hey, I came because I wanted to see you again. After last night I've been thinking all the time." He putted his hands in his hands in his pockets.
"I thought you were going away again, you are with that dance group." I said as I crossed my arms to keep my bathrobe closed.
"We stay in the neighbourhood for some days, about a week I think, for promoting the play in the theatre that starts over two weeks." I nodded as I understood.
"You are in the play as well?" I am curious, he smiled and I melted again.
"Yes, I have the lead role." I walked closer to him and he kept looking in my eyes while smiling.
"That's great Johnny, really great. I'm sure you do great as well." I whispered this and then looked at his chest. He lifted my chin up and looked in my eyes again.
"Are you really going to move?" He had let my chin go and I saw the sadness in his eyes.
"Yeah, it's a great opportunity for me." I answered, Johnny looked at my cleavage and gave a sigh.
"You want to come in? I'm not really dressed." He looked at my eyes again.
"What about your parents? Don't they mind it?" I grabbed a hand and smiled.
"No I don't think they do, I want you to meet your son. I guess my parents would love it when you could see him." I explained and he smiled again.
