Danny sat at his desk completely focused on evidence in front of him. He was piecing together the remains of the paper packaging that was on the bomb. He nearly jumped with joy when he formed a first name and partial last name.

"Andy St..." Danny spoke out loud. Jackie leaned over from her desk.

"What was that?"

"I got a partial name."

"Got any more information?"

"A partial address. Man this guy must be stupid. He put his return address on a bomb he mailed to a police officer."

"Let's be glad he was stupid." Danny nodded and typed the partial name into the system. He waited for a second as it loaded.

"Got him." Danny read straight from the computer. "Andy Stevens. He was arrested last year for drug possession. And look at that," Danny pointed to the screen. "Jamie was the arresting officer."

"We got our guy." Danny stood and pulled his gun from his desk drawer.

"Let's go pay him a visit." Jackie stood and followed Danny.

With Danny's driving they made it to the guys house in record time. Danny barely had the car in park, when he jumped towards the front door. Danny didn't bother knocking, he just kicked in the door and ran into the house with his gun drawn. Andy sat in his boxers on the living room couch. He jumped when Danny burst through the door. He turned to run, but his foot got caught on the edge of his side table and he went tumbling to the ground. Danny holstered his gun and started cuffing the guy.

"I'm innocent."

"Yea, of course you are and that's why there is evidence at the station with your name on it." Danny pulled the guy to his feet. "You are under arrest for attempted murder on a police officer and many other things."

"Just attempted murder. Damn. Guess I didn't do my job right." Anger bubbled inside Danny and he gripped the man's arms as hard as he could.

"Ow."

"Shut up." Danny walked towards the front door and purposely ran Andy into the door jam. Danny chuckled and then throw him into the back of his car. After Danny went through with booking the guy, he called Jamie's cell.

"Hello?" Jamie's voice sounded tired.

"Hey kid, how are you feeling?"

"I've been better."

"You should have stayed in the hospital."

"No, I prefer Dad's house over a hospital bed." Jamie coughed and then groaned.

"So, I caught the guy who sent you a bomb."

"Who was it?"

"Do you remember Andy Stevens?"

"Yea, that guy was a real pain in the ass. He made a big scene at the station when I took him in."

"Well, he is a stupid criminal. He sent his name and return address on the package." Jamie chuckled.

"Yea, I caught him because of stupid stuff like that."

"Any way kid. I'' be by later with dinner. Pop said he'd be working late tonight. I want you to stay in bed."

"It hurts too much to walk, so I think I'll stay right here."

"Good talk to ya later."

"Bye." Jamie hung up the phone and place dropped it into his lap. He snuggled down deeper into his childhood bed and let the pain pills pull him into a peaceful slumber.
