"Okay Seven, we're about to have company. Let's put you somewhere safe so I can kick some serious butt." She sets Seven down, hiding her behind a counsel. "Lieutenant,...Bellana, she stares at her. Be careful." "My middle name," Bellana tells her.

Chapter 4

The door opens and their two captors walk in. Bellana is ready to strike when the security from Voyager rushes in.

"Hands up," yells Chakotay. "Back up over there," he points toward the corner of the room. "Where are our people?"

"Chakotay," Bellana yells. She emerges from her hiding spot and runs over to them. "Seven is hurt. We have to get her back to Voyager now." She points to where she has hidden Seven and Tuvok walks over to retrieve her.

Seven is unconscious as Tuvok examines her injuries. "We must hurry," Tuvok said.

"Chakotay to Voyager." Voyager here. "Captain we've found Bellana and Seven. Seven's hurt pretty bad. Can you lock on to her signal and beam her to sickbay?"

Janeway instructs the crew to lock on and beam their people out. " Hold on Chakotay we're getting some interference."

The beam snatches them just as the Zyrillian guards rush in and start shooting.

On the ship, Seven has been placed on the biobed and the doctor is working on her. Janeway walk in. "Report."

"We found them in a lab under the city," Chakotay reports. "Seven was unconscious. The doctor is trying to stabilize her now."

"How's Bellana?" Said Janeway.

"She got some scrapes and bruises but she's okay," said Chakotay.

The doctor approaches the Captain to update her on Seven's injuries.

"How is she doctor?"

"It's bad Captain. While trying to remove her implants, they caused serious damage. Her cortical node is shutting down. Unless I find away to repair it, she'll die. I have some avenues to explore, so I'll begin the surgery immediately."

"Can I speak to her before you begin?" the Captain said chocked up. The doctor nods. Janeway walks over to the biobed and takes Seven's hand. She looks down on Seven's bruised face and begins to cry.

"Do not cry," Seven whispers. "The doctor will correct the problem."

"I know Seven. I'm just glad you're home."

"How is Bellana?" said Seven. "She saved my life. Said she would kick my butt if I died."

Janeway smirks. "She's fine Seven. You just concentrate on getting better."

"Where is Harry?"

"He's on the bridge. He'll be here when you wake up."

"Please tell him that I love him and not to worry."

"I'll tell him Seven. You rest now. I'll see you after the surgery. I love you so much," Janeway said crying.

"Love you too Mama," Seven said drifting off.

"It's time Captain," said the doctor.

Janeway kisses Seven on the forehead and backs away. Chakotay encircles her in his arms as she breakdown.

"I can't loose her Chakotay."

"You won't," he tells her.
