I do not own the characters of Dirty Dancing, nor do I own the movie. Let me know what you think of this story from me. Please do read and review this one, so I know if I must go on with it.
"So what are you going to do in London?" I looked at John again and smiled.
"I got a job there, it's a great opportunity for me." Answering his question and I stroked Thom's little cheek.
"What about Johnny?" John was asking himself about it. I gave a little sigh.
"He said he would move to London as well when he was down with the tour."
"Tour?" John was curious. "Yeah, from the play he's in. He has the lead role." John smiled now.
"That's great to hear. I'm glad he's doing something he loves to do." I nodded.
"He will find enough work in London, the city is known about their entertainment." I looked back at John and thought.
"Have you been in London already?" He smiled at me and nodded.
"Yeah several times for business. I'm going now too for business, staying there for a few months this time."
"Sounds great. I can't wait for Johnny to come." John chuckled as he looked at Thom again who moved.
"I will lay him in the chair if you want." As I reached out to Thom. John smiled as I took Thom from his lap and laid him in the chair next to me.
John and I talked a little longer, we got food and drinks offered and took some while talking. Thom woke up once to get his diaper changed and fell asleep again.
Arriving in London
When the plane finally landed, John looked at me.
"Keep sitting for a bit until most people are out already then you have more space to get your stuff and walk out. I will help you." I nodded and keep on sitting.
He helped me and walked with me and Thom out of the plane to the luggage department.
"Thanks." I looked at him as he helped me putting my suitcases on a trolley.
"You're welcome." He smiled as he took his own suitcase. I sat Thom on the trolley as well and John walked with me to the exit.
"If you want we can have lunch tomorrow, it's a day off for everyone and I think you can use some company and explore London a bit."
I looked at him and smiled. "Thanks, that sounds really lovely." He smiled as he took his pen out and a business card from himself. He wrote down the name of the hotel and the street he is staying and gave it to me.
"Be there at 12, I will wait for you." I took the card and nodded, I looked at it for a bit and putted it in my bag.
Thom was looking around while holding his teddy. We went through an automatic door and I looked around. Many people stood there waiting for people to arriver and bring them home or welcome them back and so.
"There's my ride. I see you tomorrow Baby." John looked at me and I smiled, he gave me a hug and a kiss on my cheek which made me blush a bit. He stroked Thom's hair who smiled at him.
I looked how John walked to someone who was holding a sign up with John's name on it, I looked around as I had no idea where I needed to go. Then I saw someone holding a sign up with my name and I walked to him.
"Miss Houseman?" As he looked at me. "That's me." I smiled and he smiled too.
"Welcome to London ma'am, I'm Duncan your driver and assistant." He told me and I was a bit surprised.
"Driver and assistant? Why do I need one?" I was curious and he was still smiling, a really cute smile I must say and I turned my head away not to show him I was blushing a bit.
"Yes ma'am. I'm your assistant at work and your driver for when you need to go to congresses and such." He explained and I looked at him.
"Alright, you will bring me to my home I guess. And please don't call me madam, I'm not so old yet. Call me Baby as almost everyone is doing." He nodded and smiled, I smiled back.
"Let me push the trolley." I moved and took Thom on my arms, Duncan looked at Thom as I walked next to Duncan outside.
"He's adorable, I have a daughter." I looked at him and smiled.
"That's nice, how old is she?" Thom laid his arms around my neck.
"She's 6 now but her mother and I aren't together anymore, we're friends now though."
"How do you do it with raising her?" I was curious and he looked at me again.
"She comes to me several times a month and in holidays, she's doing great. I'm very proud of her, she wants to be a ballet dancer." I chuckled a bit and he smiled.
"That's lovely really, this is Thomas. We call him Thom, he looks like his father and if he has the same then he will be a great dancer too. All-round dancer." Duncan looked at Thom and nodded.
"Sounds great, where's his father?" He looked around.
"He's not here yet, he is in a play that starts touring next week. He will be coming after the tour."
We arrived at the car and Duncan putted the suitcases in the trunk. He opened the door for me and I stepped in. Then he brought the trolley away and walked back while I waited. He stepped in a drove away from the airport.
