Hello my amigos. I am back to continue writing my alternative story. Because of the amount of time I spend on a computer, I decided to take a break from writing stories for while. Hope you all could wait until my next update that is now published and ready to read. Enjoy the chapter, ladies and gentlemen.

The next morning in the World of Light, Blu and the rest of his family had woken up nice and early, and now they are all together again inside Blu's private medical room. He was glad to have his family keep him company for a while until the Angelus would request his presence.

Jewel sat to the right of her husband and held his good wing in her own. "Blu, when this is over, I hope we can put this behind us. We've been through so much. I...I want it all to be over...I want to live a peaceful life once and for all where we can raise our children and live out the rest of lives in peace."

Blu agreed with this one hundred percent, wanting nothing more than to settle down once and for all. "I promise, Jewel. We will bring Nexus down. I won't stop until I make sure he's gone."

Jewel was touched by her husband's words, but she had doubts on how he was going to help. She knew for a fact he was in no condition for combat and would not last a second against a single dark macaw, never mind Nexus. "Blu, I love you no matter what and I know you can do it. I believe in you."

Before long, Sadon had approached the blue macaw family while pushing a wheelchair for Blu. He hated to ruin what little time they had together, but it was what the Angelus wanted. "I'm sorry to break up your time together, but the Angelus is going to want to see Blu soon. We better get him ready."

Jewel nodded her head in agreement and turned her attention back towards Blu. She leaned forward and both of them locked their beaks into each other's for a moment, sharing a short kiss. She stood up off of his bed with her children beside her. "Good luck, Blu. I know you can do it."

The four blue macaw kids jumped back up towards their father and embraced him in a hug across his stomach. "We love you, Dad." they all spoke simultaneously, wishing their father the best.

"Rey, Azul, Crystal, Jessica. I love you all, too." Blu said smiling, returning the hug to his four children, but he had to be careful due to his injured wing.

The kids eventually let their father go out of their hug and joined their mother. The five of them made their way over to the exit, looking back at Blu one more time before they left. All they could do was wait and hope until all this was over.

After they were gone, Sadon placed the wheelchair next to Blu's bed and proceeded to help him sit down. He knew it was going to be difficult since he was not that strong, but he was sure he could imagine.

The door opened again and came in a light macaw, who walked inside to inform the medic macaw of an important message. "Sadon, the Queen has requested Warrior Blu's presence to her throne room as soon as possible. I have been sent to escort him there."

"Understood." Sadon nodded, before he turned back towards Blu and placed his wing over his body, carefully helping him off of his bed and into the wheelchair. He held him carefully until he was sure he was in right and would not injure himself further. "There we go. You feeling okay, Blu?"

"Never better." Blu admitted, seating himself back as much as he could, carefully making sure his talons were in place. "Well, I better not keep the Queen waiting longer."

"I agree." Sadon agreed, moving behind Blu as he began to push him towards the exit of his room. He continued doing so until they were outside and he handed him over to the guard. He wished Blu the best of luck before he left. "Good luck, Blu. I'll see you when all this is over."

"Thanks, Sadon, and thank you for helping me with my injures." Blu thanked, grateful to the medic macaw after everything he did for him.

With that said, Sadon proceeded back into Blu's medical room and closed the door behind him. The guard who was escorting Blu stood behind him and began to push him down the hallway rather than have him push himself.

"Allow me to escort you." the guard offered, but he already was pushing him before he got a say in the matter. "The Queen has insisted you have as much care as possible to conserve all of your energy."

"If that's what you wants, than I respect that." Blu agreed, placing his wings to his sides now that he did not need to use them.

After a few minutes passed, the guard had taken Blu right outside the Angelus's throne room that was closed by a big set of brown double doors. Guarding it were two of the Angelus's personal guards, one of the most powerful ranks in the light macaw army.

The looked the same as regular light macaws, but their feathers were slightly brighter, they were taller and wore white armor across their bodies and wore a black armored helmet to match their armor. And to top it off, they were armed with golden swords.

"Please state your presence here." one of the personal guards requested, raising a normal expression across his face and beak. He could only let lower ranks light macaws enter if they had permission from a general or the Angelus herself.

"I am here to escort Warrior Blu to her Majesty's throne room. I have had orders from the Queen herself." the light macaw responded, standing aside to show them the blue macaw merely sitting there in silence.

The two personal guards turned towards each other and simultaneously nodded to each other in agreement. They both turned around to the side and stood opposite of each door, allowing them to go inside. No-one would dare lie about having the Queen's permission, especially with the consequences.

"You may enter." the personal guard replied, allowing them to pass.

With that, the light macaw waited until the doors opened and pushed Blu inside the throne room. Blu felt a little nervous entering the room since this brought back a couple of bad memories, but that was in the past and they now had to focus on the future. If Nexus won, there would be no future.

Inside the throne room, twenty of the Angelus's personal guards were standing perfectly still in the throne room like statues. Eight of them stood alongside the left wall, eight of them stood alongside the right well, two of them guarded the entrance/exit, and the last two stood only a few feet away from the Angelus on her left and right.

The light macaw escorting Blu let him go in the center of the throne room. He moved forward a few feet and knelt down to the Angelus in respect. "Your Majesty, I bring you Warrior Blu as you requested."

The Angelus, who was now fully recovered since the events of being locked away in the World of Darkness, raised her wing, beckoning for the guard to stand up. "Thank you, soldier. You may leave presence."

The light macaw nodded in agreement as he stood back up. He turned around and respectfully walked away out of the throne room, the doors closing behind him. He did his job and no longer needed to hang around.

Blu placed his wings onto his wheelchair and moved himself a little closer to the Angelus when she beckoned for him to approach. He stopped himself a few feet away from her throne. "Your Majesty, you wanted to see me?"

"Yes, Blu." the Angelus replied, standing up out from her throne room as she made her way over towards the blue macaw. "I hope you have had a good rest. My best medics did what they could, but only time will tell when you heal."

"I appreciate everything you've done for me, your Majesty." Blu assured, but he decided to get back to the subject at hand. "But if I may ask, why have you summoned me here?"

The Angelus went silent for a moment, uncertain if she was able to continue with her next sentence. She knew it was going to be tough to explain this, but now was the time. She turned back towards Blu and without hesitation, she simply spoke the truth. "Because it's time you know."

"Know?" Blu repeated, turning his head to the side in confusion. "Know what?"

"Know that you are the one to stop Nexus. It has always been you." the Angelus explained, leaving Blu in shock and confusion. She turned around and faced the huge wall behind her throne. "The prophecy said it would be you."

"I...I don't understand." Blu admitted, surprised that he, a simply blue macaw would be responsible for defeating someone as powerful as Nexus.

"Blu." she sighed and turned back towards him. "Have you ever wondered why your family bloodline had the Darkness and all of it's powers?"

Blu merely nodded his head in agreement. He wanted to know for years how his family came to be in possession of the Darkness. He only knew that the first male blue macaw of his kind, his Grandfather was the one to embrace it.

The Angelus paused for a moment when she could see Blu with puzzled expression. She took a deep breath, knowing she was going to have to do some explaining so everyone further understood. "Let me explain: during the creation of the universe, Nexus and I were the first every specious of birds to be created. I was a light macaw while he was a dark macaw. We were both gifted with the powers of the Angelus and the Darkness. To gain them, we were both sent to both World of Light and Darkness to receive our gifts. I got my wish, but as for Nexus, he did not make it in time. Someone-a blue macaw to be precise-had taken the Darkness for himself by accident."

Blu was slightly stunned after taking all this in. He was unsure if he could take anymore of it in.

"Because of this, Nexus was enraged and was willing to destroy anyone and anything to get what he wants, which is what happened to me. And because of this, I was forced to leave my real body after it was destroyed and was forced to need a host, which had to be a female blue macaw since the males had the Darkness." the Angelus continued, now giving some explanation to why she kidnapped Jewel in the first place and used her as a host all those years ago. "Nexus wanted the Darkness, so to avoid death; he took over every single one of his family's body's to cheat death. He went around the entire universe, hunting down and killing every last male macaw there was...One hundred years ago, the many souls of his ancestors were trapped in the ancient scroll he seeks, and Nexus swore he would use this one day to his advantage. However, I managed to find it and hide it in Rio de Janeiro somewhere. He and I eventually tracked you and your wife down. And we both needed you. I needed Jewel for a host, and he needed you to take the Darkness from you...This is why he is so desperate to get you, because he fears blue macaws will be his end."

Blu was in shock for a moment as he looked down upon his broken talons. He now understood why Nexus had hunted down his kind and killed everyone single one of them, including his parents. He did just to get the Darkness back. "I...I understand now...This is why he killed my mom and dad that day..."

The Angelus looked towards Blu with an apologetic expression on her face. She placed her right wing onto his shoulder for a moment in a sort of comforting way. "I'm sorry, Blu. I wish I could have stopped it."

"There is still time."

Blu jumped slightly as a mysterious figure had appeared behind , standing only a couple of feet away and he looked very familiar.

The mysterious figure who had joined them was wearing silver accented armor across his body and wings, two metal wrist gauntlets just above his wingtips, wearing a belt across his waist and a sword holder belt across his chest to hold a sword on his back. And to top it all off, he was wearing red hood followed by a red mask around his head and face, covering his identity up completely apart from his eyes.

"Relax, Blu. He is an ally." the Angelus assured him when he looked worried, turning her attention back to the mysterious figure who knelt down to the Angelus in respect as he took her right wing in his left wing. "Hello Drako."

"It is great to see you again, your Majesty." Drako greeted, standing back up to full height for a moment as he looked towards Blu, who was looking both shocked and surprised as he placed his wings to his sides. "Blu..."

"It's you." Blu said in shock, remembering this mysterious figure he had met a while ago when he was in the alternative world controlled by Captain Lenny.

Flashback

Blu finally made it to the Christ the Redeemer statue and flew towards the very top of the statue and perched himself down onto the Christ the Redeemer's head. He placed both his wings to his sides while patiently waiting the mysterious watcher to appear (if his calculations were correct of course). "So...Here I am...Waiting...And standing on Jesus' head."

Before long, the sound of flapping shot through Blu's eardrums, and he turned around and lucky for him, he was correct. The mysterious watcher had appeared once again for the fifth time before he performed a barrel-roll across the statue's arm and landed perfectly down a couple of feet away from Blu.

Still with his mask over his face with only his eyes showing, the mysterious watcher spoke to Blu when he had his full attention to him. "I knew you would find me, Blu."

"You did leave me a riddle, remember?" Blu reminded with his wings folded, before he got serious and demanded to know who he was, why he was following him, and what he wanted? "Who are you? What do you want? Why are you watching me?"

"We have been giving many names, but you will come to know me as Drako." the mysterious watcher answered, revealing one of his many names to be Drako for Blu to know his name. "I am the loyal servant of the Sacred Order of Rio."

"Just what I need. Another secret sacred order." Blu thought to himself while rolling around his eyeballs, remembering the first sacred order he met which was Vadin and his brotherhood members. But for now, it was time for find out what Drako wanted. "So, you're a part of Sacred Order. What does that have to do with me?"

"I bring a message to you, Blu." Drako replied, before he began to warn Blu of a very important prophecy that may come true. "Dark days are coming, Blu. The prophecy is coming true. You are the warrior that will defeat the King and restore order through Rio. You are the one who will save the day, and if you don't, fires will rage, Rio will die, your loved ones will die, and you will die too."

Blu's expression changed and his head hung low, not believing that if he did not stop Lenny soon, all of Rio would be destroyed. "I...I don't believe it..."

"Believe what you will, Blu." Drako said, pulling out another smoke pellet from the belt he was wearing, preparing to vanish away once again. "The message has been delivered, and we will meet again one day, Blu."

The mysterious watcher threw his smoke pellet onto the ground, sending a wave of smoke for him to disappear out of plain sight.

After the smoke had cleared after a few seconds, Blu saw the mysterious watcher had vanished. But the important thing was that he understood what needed to be done, and if he did not do this soon, everyone and everything that he loved would be destroyed.

"I'm...I'm part of a prophecy. I don't...I don't believe it." Blu talked to himself while he looked down towards the ground below where he spotted multiple military macaws down below. "I...I know what needs to be done...I have to confront Lenny and finish this once and for all!"

Present time

Blu dazed out from his thoughts as Drako pulled out some sort of rolled-up paper from his belt. He did not expect him to be real, and thought everyone in that world were not real except for him and Lenny. "Drako?"

"I see you remember me." Drako replied, taking his scroll out as he prepared to unfold it and read it out to them. "It is time you knew the truth, Blu. It is time. "You and I met in an alternative dream world, and after that, I was aware of the danger ahead and needed someone to keep a secret. I suspected you would not wait, so I needed to tell someone who could keep a secret, and that was your wife."

"My wife?" Blu repeated, now even more surprised that his wife knew of something and could not hell him. He know understood why she was acting strange.

"Yes. I hoped it would get you prepared when it was time, but when Nexus unexpectedly attacked, it was ruined. I would have told you earlier, but to act too soon may seal your fate." Drako explained, answering some of Blu's many questions, but not all of them. "Now is the perfect opportunity to tell you. Your Majesty, if I may, I think it is time."

The Angelus nodded in agreement, agreeing with him completely. "Go ahead, Drako."

Drako nodded to his Queen in respect before he opened up the scroll where he began reading out its contents to them. He did not even need to look at Blu to know he had his full attention. "The prophecy spoke of a hero. A hero who would one day destroy the evil within the darkness and spread light throughout the world. They spoke of a blue macaw, one who would be the last of his kind. The one who would end the great war between light and darkness after going on since the beginning of time. That blue macaw is you, Blu."

Drako finished reading and rolled the paper back up and placed it into his pocket. He performed and back flip behind the Angelus' throne and used his sword combined with powers to draw a symbol on the wall.

He moved aside where he revealed he had carved the shape of a feather into the wall with his sword (the same symbol Jewel had saw back in Rio). "That was the prophecy."

Blu was speechless after taking all of this in. He was going to be the one to stop Nexus. He was unsure if he could do it, especially in his condition. He turned back up to face the Angelus and Drako, who waited patiently for him to respond. "I...I don't know what to say..."

"You don't need to say anything, Blu, but know that you are no alone." the Angelus reassured him, placing her wing upon his shoulder. "We will all stand beside you. We are your family and will help you destroy Nexus."

"Thank you, your Majesty." Blu thanked with a smile across his face, but he decided to point out the obvious. "But how can I defeat Nexus? Look at me. I can't walk or fly."

"I have a solution for your problem, Blu." the Angelus reassured, turning around as she made her way over towards the back of her throne. "Please, follow."

Blu placed his wings back onto his wheels and followed the Angelus and Drako behind her throne, but he was confused to what was there. It just looked like an ordinary wall in this castle.

The Angelus placed her wing upon the wall and closed her eyes, silently concentrating with all her power. Blu and Drako remained silent to avoid disturbing her concentration. After a moment had passed, the Angelus leaned back and part of the hall opened, revealing it to be a sealed door in disguise.

"Drako, please assist Blu down the steps." the Angelus requested, before she made her way down the steps inside the secret room.

Drako nodded in respect and stood behind Blu, carefully pushing him down the steps slowly to help him get down. He continued doing so until they were at the bottom of the stairs and were now inside the secret room. The sealed door closed behind them quietly, leaving the three of them alone.

When Blu got to the button of the stairs, his chocolate brown eyes widened when they met what was in here. It was square shaped pool in the center of the room, but it was not filled with normal water. Instead, it was filled with a mysterious green liquid. It brightened up the room that was the only place in the castle that looked slightly dark, but it did not effect the Angelus since it had no dark essence.

"Wow." Blu said in amazement. He turned towards the Angelus and inquired what this was. "What is this?"

"This is the Pool of Healing, Blu. It can heal every injury a personal has received, regardless of how bad it is." the Angelus explained with a slight smile across her light beak. "It can only be used every ten years. It is a good thing I have not used it for over one hundred years. It's going to heal you."

"Me?" Blu repeated, slightly surprised yet grateful that she would use this great gift for him.

"Yes. It will heal your bones and other injuries." the Angelus continued, placing her wing upon her hip. She did wish to wait anymore time with Nexus so close to becoming immortal. "Drako, now is the time."

"Understood, your Majesty." Drako agreed, taking out his sword from his belt and approaching Blu, who now looked slightly worried when seeing his weapon. "Do not be alarmed, Blu, but I am going to have to remove your bandage and casts before you go in. It may affect the healing process."

"I understand." Blu assured, knowing it was going to hurt for a little while.

Drako raised his sword and swiftly swung his sword around multiple times. He placed it back into his belt and watched as Blu's bandage and casts fell apart. "You are ready now."

Blu pushed himself towards the Pool of Healing. He carefully got out on his own and slipped himself inside that caused him a bit of pain without his bandage casts. He closed his eyes and held a breath as he floated towards the center of the pool and slowly, he sunk underneath out of plain sight.

The Angelus and Drako could only wait until Blu had returned. They had never tested the Pool of Healing on someone who is not from their world before, but they were certain it would not matter. It healed anyone, regardless of where they were from.

After a minute had passed, the water began to blow steam from the center and a few seconds later, a splash had emerged too. Slowly, Blu began to emerge from underneath the pool. He slowly approached towards the exit of the pool.

The Angelus and Drako watched with smiles across their beaks (even though you could not see Drako's smile due to his mask) as Blu got out of the pool, now full recovered. He could walk again and he looked better than ever. His feathers were even brighter than before.

Blu finally opened his eyes and smiled happily a she observed his wings and talons. He turned back towards the Angelus and Drako and put on a determined expression across his face. "Let's finish this."

He was ready to end this once and for all.

That brings us to the end of this chapter, ladies and gentlemen. Blu will be the hero who will save the door and he is now fully recovered and ready to bring down Nexus once and for all. Stay tuned for the next chapter, ladies and gentlemen.
