I do not own the characters of Dirty Dancing, nor do I own the movie. Let me know what you think of this story from me. Please do read and review this one, so I know if I must go on with it.

John sat in the lounge waiting for me, he stood up when he saw me entering. He smiled and came to me.

"Hey Baby." I looked at him and smiled. Thom reached out to him and babbled.

"Seems he's really clever." John said as he took Thom over from me.

"Yeah, he's my clever boy." John smiled as he looked at Thom and waggled him. Duncan stood behind me and looked at John and Thom.

John saw Duncan and became curious.

"This is Duncan, he's my driver and assistant." I explained and John was surprised.

"Fancy, you have a fancy job there Baby." I giggled a bit while John stuck his hand out to Duncan who shook it with a smile.

"I'm John. John Castle." Duncan nodded and John gave me Thom back.

"You're hungry Baby?" I looked at John again and nodded. "Seems someone is hungry as well." As he looked at Thom.

"Duncan can bring us if he want." John looked at Duncan and nodded.

"Is it alright when he joins us?" Asking when we walked outside again.

"Of course he can Baby, I don't mind that. Maybe he knows a nice place where we can have lunch." Duncan looked at John as he opened the door from the car.

"I do sir, a very nice lunchroom near Hyde Park." Duncan answered to his suggestion.

"Good, bring us there boy." Duncan nodded again as John stepped in the car.

He helped me in the car and Thom sat next to John. Duncan drove us to a nice small lunchroom and parked the car.

When we got out we walked to the lunchroom and entered. We looked at an empty table and sat down. Someone came to us.

"Can I help you? You want a special chair for him?" The waitress asked as she looked at Thom.

"Thank you yes that would be lovely." I answered and she went quickly to get one. I putted him in the chair and Thom was looking serious at the waitress.

"He's adorable." She said and we smiled. I looked at John who was smiling at me.

"And how is the house?" "It's great actually, it's perfect for my family." He smiled.

"Just Johnny is missing now, hope he will be here soon." He said and I nodded as I looked at Thom again.

"Maybe I can still meet him up when he comes Baby, it would be great to see my godchild again."

Duncan was looking from John to me and back and trying to figure things out.

"Your name is John and your boyfriend's name is Johnny. And you're Johnny's godfather?" John looked at Duncan and nodded.

"Is he named after you?" Duncan is interested about it and I looked at Duncan as well.

"Yes, he is. But we all called him little Johnny and eventually it became Johnny instead of John. His father had no idea how else to call Johnny and his mother didn't really care at all." It was John's explanation.

I remember when Johnny told me about his mother, he wasn't really happy about her but yet he wasn't really happy about his father as well.

"Did Johnny got raised by you?" I took the menu and start looking at it while listening to the men.

John looked at me for a moment and smiled a bit.

"Actually not really, because I tried to visit Johnny as often as possible but I travel a lot for my work. His parents divorced when he was about 10 years or something, he stayed with his father because he had his friends at that side of town. His mother went away to California."

I was thinking and Johnny didn't talk much about his father, only that he was a drunk.

"Johnny lived on the streets most of the times from that age." Duncan looked at me now.

"Exactly what Baby says, he was all the time on the street dancing to get some money to survive."

Duncan was really surprised about this, never expected that anyone would be living on the streets. Well his life wasn't easy as well, for the first time in his life he has a good job but he never lived on the streets.

"He's very close with my son Billy." Now it was time for me to get surprised again.

"I didn't know that Billy is your son." John looked at me and nodded with a smile.

"You know Billy I guess from Kellerman's." I nodded and smiled back at him.

"Yeah, Billy and I are good friends. He never mentioned his father though, only his mother." John gave a deep sigh and nodded.

"I can imagine it because his mother went away with him when he was about 6 I think. I haven't seen him much ever since and I regret that a lot." John admitted.

Duncan was listening to all these complications in this family and wondered why this all happened.

"Seems your family has a lot of trouble." Duncan stated and John looked at him.

"With love boy. Yes, we Castle men are not the greatest when it comes to that. My brother and I both had the same but for Johnny I can imagine. His father is unbearable because he's a drunk."

"Oh I get it, now I can imagine why Johnny choose the streets. I don't have a father though."

John and I looked at Duncan now and Thom was looking serious.

"You should be happy that his father came back." Duncan said as he looked at me and pointed at Thom. I smiled and nodded my head.

"I'm glad that my godchild has found true love really. He can proof that the Castle men can change into mature grownups and take care of their family." John looked at me now again.

In the meantime we ordered lunch and drinks and I asked if they could warm some porridge for Thom.

"He really wants to take care of us." I said with pride and John smiled bigger now.

"That's great Baby. I'm sure he will do big things when he comes here." I smiled only as I looked for a moment at John.

"If Johnny wants to keep doing plays and he is really as good as you telling me he will get famous here in no time." I looked at Duncan now and so did John.

"Dancing is his passion." I said and the men nodded. "Yeah, you mustn't ask Johnny do to some handyman work or paper work. He will get confused and annoyed and messes it totally up."

"He's stubborn and impatient from time to time." I chuckled and John nodded his head.

"Sometimes really hard to handle but I guess that's what I like about him as well." Duncan looked at me with a smile of admiration.

"I guess he became like that over the course of his life." Duncan said.

"Could be, but I know he wants to be accepted by people so bad." Now John looked at me again after he got his food.

"He still thinks he's nothing?" I looked at John and nodded with a sad face.

"Not good." Duncan looked from John to me, he wanted to get to know Johnny better.

"I would love to meet your boyfriend." I looked at Duncan and smiled.

"You will like him Duncan, I just hope he will stop thinking that he's nothing because he's not." John nodded to agree with me there.

After the lunch we brought John back to the hotel and Duncan brought me back home.

"Thanks for the lunch." He said as he helped me to step out.

"Thanks for your company Duncan. I guess I see you tomorrow morning." I said and he nodded.

"Yeah, tomorrow is the day. Then you will get to know the people and your job." He said and I smiled only.

"See you." I said and walked to the front door. I opened it and looked at Duncan who had stepped in the car already.

We waved and he drove off, I went inside and putted some music on. Shame I have no phone, I should really ask for one because I actually wanted my parents to know I have arrived safely and everything is alright.

I took my book and a cup of tea and went to sit on the couch. Thom was asleep on the couch now and I smiled a bit at him.
