Deleted chapters

This is the moment some of us were not looking forward to: the grand final to the alternative story of "Darkness Reborn". I would like to thank everyone who has been reading up to this point. You've all been a great help and I appreciate you taking your own time to read my stories. Thank you, everyone...Enjoy the final chapter.

After the battle between light and dark was finally over, Blu had met up with Sigma outside of Nexus's castle while he still carried Nexus in his wings. He quickly informed Sigma of the situation to which Sigma took action and immediately ordered transport to the World of Light.

The battle of light and dark was finally over with the light macaws winning at long last. Half of the dark macaw army were killed in action, but as for the other half, they had surrendered in fear of being killed and were now being transported back to the World of Light to be locked away.

Blu was reunited with his family and friends and was never more grateful to see them alive. He had the light macaws send them back home to Rio de Janeiro, but he decided to stay a little long just to take care of some business.

The mage of the light macaw army had used a special orb to contain Blu's light essence powers and his dark magic, allowing him to turn back into the normal blue macaw he always ways. And now he kept it locked away in his lab where only he could find it and only Blu could access it.

The Angelus was recovering nicely, but with the amount of dark essence she had endured, it was going to be a while until she recovered. As she slowly healed in the healing area of her castle, Drako stood as her personal, protecting her with his life, even despite the fact they had won the war now.

And as for Nexus, he had been locked away underground beneath the Angelus's castle that only she and Blu had access to. Using light essence and chains, they were able to restrain Nexus inside a special single cell where he could not hurt anyone again and could no longer use any of his powers.

Before Blu left, he made his way underground through a secret entrance that only he and the Angelus knew and began making his way downstairs. He came to the bottom and was greeted by four of the Angelus's personal guards, who stood entrance to the small prison and allowed Blu access.

They guarded a strong metal door made out of pure gold and light essence to prevent anyone from breaking through. They opened it using codes only they knew and allowed Blu inside before closing the door behind him as a safety precaution.

Now inside, Blu walked towards the end of the single room where he saw Nexus's cell only a mere couple of feet away. He continued walking until he stood right outside of Nexus's cell and stood there with his to his sides, waiting for the evil dark macaw-hawk to speak to him.

Nexus was imprisoned in a small cell where the only way in or out was through the entrance that was protected with a strong glass made from light essence.

He had a golden metal round restraint locked around his body; he had two gold chains attached to his wings that connected to the left and right walls in his cell. And to top it off, he had golden cuffs attached to his talons.

Nexus merely sat there in the center of his cell, not able to stand up and move. He smirked and chuckled nevertheless as he stared towards Blu through the glass. "Ahh, if it isn't Blu the macaw. And what brings you to my lovely home?"

Blu could tell he was being sarcastic, but nevertheless, he explained his reasons why he was here. "I came here to tell you Nexus that you lost. Rio, the World of Light, and many other places are now safe from you and no longer need to fear you. I don't fear you anymore either. You're locked in here and your armies are currently being transported to the prison in this world. It's over, Nexus. We're safe from you now."

With that said, Blu turned around and proceeded to leave this World and go back home where he belongs. However, as he approached the metal door, he froze in his steps when Nexus had called out to him.

"As long as I live, you will never be safe." Nexus warned, moving his wings slightly that caused the chains to rattle. He grinned and waited for Blu's response.

Blu turned his head half-round and looked at him with one eye, but after that, he waited until the metal door was open before walking out, knowing this was the last time he was going to see Nexus. It was all over now. Rio's jungle was safe, Nexus was defeated, and everyone was now safe and sound.

All Blu wanted to do now was go home with his family and his friends. He wanted to finally live that perfect live with Jewel, a life where they would live freely and watch their offspring grow up. It was a dream he looked forward to ever since he met Jewel, and now that dream could finally come true.

One month later

All the birds of a feather
Do what they love most of all
Moon and the stars, sun and guitars
That's why we love carnival

One month had passed since the events of Nexus and his army, and since then, Blu's dream of a peaceful life had finally come true. Together with his family and friends, everyone they loved and cared for got together to sing their favorite, traditional song.

Jewel the female macaw flew through the around the jungle, singing perfectly with her beautiful singing voice. She stopped in mid-air and hovered into the air.

Jewel:Loving our life in the jungle Everything's wild and free

Blu appeared beside her after following closely and flew up beside her in mid-air, now singing his own lines.

Blu:Never alone...'Cause this is our home

Rey, Azul, Crystal and Jessica appeared in between their parents with smiles across their beaks. The family of blue macaws sang together as they flew away.

Blue macaw family:Magic can happen for real in Rio

All by itself

Blu Jewel and the kids perched themselves on a branch down below over a lake with a group of roseate spoonbills near them. The family sang together as one

Blue macaw family:you can't see it coming; you can't find it anywhere else

Out of nowhere, Pedro the cardinal jumped up in front of his friends and began to sing his own lines while making his way down the lake between the roseate spoonbills.

Pedro: I'm tha kako wero kinga, kinga, kinga, kinga, KINGA! Birds like me cause I'm tha hot winga (There's your hot winga) Pedro does his famous love hawk squawk before flying off towards his best friend.

Nico was perched on a branch in front of Rafael and Eva's tree hollow and began to play his bottle-cap like an instrument.

Nico: Here everybody loves samba

Pedro appeared beside him and danced before gesturing his two wings towards the toco-toucan.

Pedro: I like da samba

Rafael and Eva, with their offspring, leaned out of their tree hollow. Rafael was the only to sing his own lines. He placed his hand upon his chest while doing so.

Rafael: Rhythm you feel in your heart

Pedro jumped up in front of Rafael and smiled widely.

Pedro:I'm the samba master

Nico: Beauty and love, what more could you want?

Nico and Pedro flew beside each other towards the top of the jungle until they were higher than all the trees present. With them were Blu, Jewel, Rey, Azul, Crystal, Jessica, Rafael, Eva, and the rest of Rafael and Eva's offspring.

Blu and Jewel held each other's wings for a moment in mid-air before sharing a quick kiss with one another, followed by a hug. The two smiled as they flew around each other, their backs touching for a second before flying with the rest of their family and friends.

Blu and Jewel and their children, the last blue macaws of their kind flew off into the distance towards the sunset with their friends following closely. All of them sang simultaneously together as their beautiful song slowly came to an end.

Well ladies and gentlemen, that brings us to the end of the alternative story to "Darkness Reborn". Some of you may have found this better than the actual story, some of you may like the actually story better, or maybe you liked both. It is up to you, of course.
