The day went by slow, I was at the convention doing several speeches and trying to convince companies and the media that the charity do great things for people in this world.
Johnny stayed at home, he has promised me to watch Thom and only would go outside to have a walk with him. He won't go out or anything and he told he me will be making it up with me for what he did.
Duncan was with me and we sat at a table for dinner. I gave a sigh as I smiled at him while he was eating in silence.
"Something wrong?" I asked and he looked at me. "No why?" He asked.
"You're so quiet today, normally you talk a lot." I said and he looked at his plate again.
"Anna said she wants some distance, she needs to think." He said with a sigh and laid his fork down. I laid my hand on his arm and he looked back at me.
"Give her time, don't go pushing her now then you will lose her." I said and he nodded.
"It's been 2 days without talking to her. I miss her." He whispered and I saw a tear falling. I tried to sooth him a bit.
"I can imagine. Imagine having this feeling for 2 years." I whispered and he looked at me questioningly and then looked at his plate again.
"Give it time, I'm sure it will all be alright." I said and he nodded. "Johnny came home late yesterday smelling of alcohol while I have been waiting for him." I said and Duncan looked worried at me.
"He told me he had drinks with his colleagues because they were celebrating the last rehearsing day, he really regretted that he had forgotten about his promise." I said and Duncan only looked at me.
"I can't stay angry with him anyway." I said and looked at Duncan. He smiled a bit at me. "You're too sweet Baby." I looked down.
"He thinks I'm pregnant because I have a little bump." I said and Duncan looked totally surprised at me now. "Are you?" He asked curious.
"I don't know, I need to go to a doctor for it. Wish my father could be here, he's the best doctor I know." I said and Duncan nodded that he understood.
"Do you want another child?" Duncan asked now. "Yeah, I always wanted a second child after Thom was born." He nodded with a smile.
"I'm really tired now." I said and yawned. "You can't go to bed yet Baby, you have one more speech." He said and I gave a deep sigh.
"Sometimes this really sucks." I said and he chuckled a bit. "You wanted this you know." I nodded and tried to smile.
"I guess it's time to go now then." I said as we stood up now.
I was really glad that I have a day off tomorrow, I came really late back home. The whole house was dark and I wished Duncan good night.
I went inside and upstairs after I hung my jacket up. I went to have a look at Thom who was really sleeping peacefully now. I went to my bedroom and saw a peaceful Johnny asleep, he was laying on his belly and was smiling.
I undressed myself silently and crawled next to him in bed. He moved and grabbed me.
"Happy you're back Baby." He whispered really soft. "I love you Johnny." I whispered and gave him a kiss while holding him in my arms. "I love you too." He whispered and snuggled against me.
He fell asleep again and I smiled while closing my eyes.
The day of the premiere arrived and I got Johnny a nice tuxedo with a white jacket, he must wear it after the show and before of course as well when they will arrive. It is a huge thing this premiere.
London seems totally blooming about it and everyone seems to want to see it but the premiere is for the invited and the people who won a ticket for it. Tomorrow is the first day for the public audience.
Johnny was totally nervous about it, he never had this in his life before. Well not this big, the promotions and premieres he had been through weren't that big and the plays never were sold out either.
I grabbed him and he looked at me. "Baby, what if I make a mistake? Everyone will laugh at me." He whispered. "Pull up Johnny, I know you can do this. I'm proud of you." I said and he smiled as he kissed me.
Duncan stopped at the house and walked to the front door. "I'll get it." Johnny said as the doorbell went off. Johnny let Duncan in and smiled as they shook hands.
"Nervous?" Duncan asked and Johnny nodded. "Big time." He said. "That's good, good nerves makes you more alert." Duncan said and patted on Johnny's shoulder. "Thanks mate." Johnny said.
Melanie finally arrived with her boyfriend, ever since I allowed this she takes him with her regularly and he doesn't seem to mind it. "Thanks for coming on last notice Melanie, I know it was short day and it's Friday." I said.
"That's okay Baby, I'm already thankful I can take Jake with me." She said with a smile and lifted Thom on her arms. Jake looked at Thom and smiled, he began to babble when Thom wanted to be with him.
"Little charmer he is." I said and Johnny stroked Thom's hair. "Dada!" He said and reached out, Johnny took him and twirled around making Thom shriek.
I watched Johnny, he always seem to forget about everything when he's busy with his son. I wonder how it will be when we would be getting a daughter. I automatically laid my hands on my belly.
"We need to go now." I said and Johnny smiled with a nod, he gave his son a big kiss and gave him to Melanie.
"Have fun!" Melanie and Jake said and we nodded. "If you decide to stay here the night, you can use the guest room." I said. "Thanks ma'am." Jake said and I giggled. "Stop that, it took me days for Duncan to stop saying that and now I'm telling you the same. I'm too young to be called madam." I said and Duncan laughed heartedly.
I looked at him as I rarely heard that laugh, it's always so cheerful that it made me laugh as well. Johnny laughed as well.
"I'm sorry." Jake said. "Just call me Baby or Frances if that pleases you more." I said and he nodded.
