*Sam pov*
Mercedes walks down the stairs in a purple high-waisted skirt and a white tank top. " You look amazing" I say. "Thanks" she says. I take her hand and then walk her out to my car that got sent from L.A. " I hope you like Breadstix" I say. "The guys told me its really nice" I say. " Yeah its really nice" she says. We continue talking until we get to Breadstix.
*Mercedes pov, In Breadstix*
Sam brought me to Breadstix for our date and it is really nice. We have been joking and talking the whole night an it's been really fun. " Are you two finished?" asks Jessica, our waitress. "Yes" says Sam. "Would you like the bill?" asks Jessica. " Yes please" says Sam.
After Breadstix Sam brings me for a walk in the park. "So do you like it here in Lima?" I ask. " Yeah and no. I'm still trying to get used to how small it is. I've lived in L.A almost all of my life, but it is a nice place" he says, as we walk past a guy selling flowers. " Do you want some?" aks Sam. "No thanks I'm okay" I say. "Well I'm buying you some" he says. "Which ones do you want?" Sam aks me. "These ones" I say pionting to a boquet of purple roses. "Thank you" I say. "Tonight has been great" I say as Sam pays for the flowers. " Yeah it has" says Sam, as we start walking back to his car.
*Sam pov*
As Mercedes and I get in the car I feel a sudden urge to kiss her. I grab my seatbelt to buckle myself in and when I turn around to put the parts together, I look right in her soft, brown eyes. I can't help myself any longer so I just lean in and place a soft, gentle kiss on her lips. I start to worry when she doesn't kiss back but after a few seconds she kisses back and I feel sparks in my stomach and think to myself that I will be her boyfriend.
