"My pleasure, stay here. Going back the same way now would be dangerous, the sea mist gets here, I have some food and with the spring nearby we will have water. Besides, I suspect what Rouge's bag is carrying."

"Yes and we will have to wait for Fenrir"

Aedoni thought aloud.

"Didn't you understand the story?"

"You've said something?"

"No, nothing."

Fletcher of course tried to go out and finish this adventure by using his wind powers to fly, but Nautilus conjured a wall of water. Water wouldn't normally stop him, but it seemed solid and non-transparent right when he collided into it...a loud crackling noise was heard from the water and a big crack was heard from Fletcher's face.

Dorobu said to the two. "Stop playing, they won't let me count in silence."

Aedoni walked over to Sherry and asked her this time.

"That guy didn't hurt you, did he? She looked so scared on you."

Sherry recalled the Logtown incident and said in surprise.

"Was that you!? I didn't recognize you, even though your back was turned."

"Better that way, it was impossible to know that we would see each other again, although Christopher and Yokai I saw them before too."

"She tried to get to me so badly...more than most girls I just want to ask to become my mate."

"No one calls human girls their 'mate', dick," Christopher stated. "Although that started because Yokai is a lecher, she was pretty scary back there. I didn't really knock out Yokai because of his stupidity—although I would if he was not listening to a girl saying no to him—I did it because I was afraid if she went all out people were going to get hurt. And yes, you can be an assassin and still care about innocent people."

"Let's just leave it at that, before Fletcher tries to fly again, I guess I'm not the only user."

"Yeah..."

Sherry had to ponder how both she could use wind powers and her captain could to; Devil Fruits all being unique where each have a power that couldn't be duplicated.

"Now I'm the one asking you. Which one is your Akuma no mi?"

"Inu Inu no mi, model: Fenrir. Why?"

"Because Fletcher also uses one with the ability of the wind, there shouldn't be another one with the same ability."

"The Fenrir has this ability according to the legends, Fletcher's is a bird and possibly going in enough for him to master it too. But mine is included even if it's late because if I get out of control I could cause a hurricane, for that reason..."

"Aedoni, your real last name isn't Lycain is it?"

"No, it's Relius, I'm Relius Aedoni. I'm the person from the story."

Everyone looked so surprised it was as if they were rabbits ambushed by a predator (if that expression wasn't so hard to understand) except for Yokai who just sat down and concentrated on his sleeping...not meditation, he wasn't fooling anyone.

"I should have known, the way you talked about that story about her was just so...captivating."

Christopher's eyes slanted to him with a wryly tone in his voice "That's because your a lech who can't stop ogling girls, idiot."

A laugh sounded, not a wry, mean, or joking one. It was a real one, Aedoni was laughing seeing how not everyone understood the story until the guy from Akuma no mi said. When he finished laughing he said.

"Sorry, sorry. I couldn't help it. I haven't laughed like that in years, huh? Does that mean I'm still human?"

"Being an assassin I always lied to myself that people weren't human, that their greed had turned them into some black-hearted monster. They weren't monsters they just thought they were above everyone else...you have more human qualities than any of them and not to sound like Yokai but you are very beautiful...more beautiful than a few human girls. Sure, looks aren't everything but don't let yourself forget your not as bad looking as other people out there that wish they could live like you."

"Thank you, I guess. Since you know the truth. Would you like to see a Fenrir in person? Fletcher and Nautilus saw me. Ah, if you touch my fur you will hear my voice in your head."

"Go ahead." Christopher said. "While your at it you can see Sherry's true form. If my fruit didn't just give me the feats of a frog I'd show you my true form...turns out I don't have one. But-"

"Being an assassin." Everyone said having heard enough of Christopher using that term.

"My true form is how I am when it comes to life and death."

Sherry shook her head after hearing enough out of Christopher. She then got on her fours as fur started to grow out of her clothes, her teeth turned into sharp canines, a tail flicked up, down and sideways and her ears turned into...ears...the cat kind.

"Nice Sherry. Mine is quite big so she pushed me away a bit."

She took a few steps away from everyone, took a deep breath and when she opened her eyes she howled, a wind swirled around her covering her, when it ceased a gigantic wolf with silver fur looked at them with its green eyes.

Sherry knew she wasn't as big as Relius, but she had enough practice with her siblings and brothers to take down a giant in her human form. Fighting as a small beast against a beast the size of a mountain was the same as two sibling cats fighting. But Aedoni didn't want to fight, she just lay back and wagged her tail.

Cats only wag their tails when they are upset or angry so Sherry just laid down using her paws as a cushion for her angular head.

Aedoni suddenly rose to her feet and sniffed the air. He returned to his human form and said.

"You have to hide. To the tree quickly."

Nautilus turned into a puddle of water with his powers, Yokai hid behind a tree, Dorobou used coins to climb up the trees, Sherry transformed into a white cat staying where she was, and Christopher used his tongue as a pulley to get on the treetops. As for Fletcher...

He hide behind Aedoni forgetting entirely about her warning about touching.

"Do not be silly."

Aedoni grabbed Fletcher and they hid in the branches of some trees. It wasn't long before one of five people appeared, all of them with a strange hunting outfit and all kinds of weapons. The one who looked like the leader said.

"According to the map this is his territory, but there are no signs that he is here, the ground is almost rock and there are no footprints."

"Boss, what about that cat?"

"It's just a cat and we're looking for a wolf, that mayor will let me have her head if I give her that beast's filthy pelt."

"And if we don't find it?"

"People say you have an emissary, we'll use it to draw you in, I dine human. I love being at the top of the food chain."

They strolled past Sherry looking all around for any sign of the Fenrir. Behind them, Sherry followed them not caring how suspicious it looked for a cat to be following them.

They entered the hole but there was no one, they stepped on Nautilus and they were going to find Yokai, but thanks to Aedoni throwing a stone, he moved them away from them.

"Over there, look it up."

They all came out of their hiding places or went back to normal. Aedoni said.

"I know a place where they won't look for us, but I'm afraid to go to town in the daytime in human form."

"Yeah. And we don't have any disguises we can lend you. I mean, we pretty much dress in the same clothes everyday." Dorobou mentioned.

"Any ideas?"

Yokai coughed with his knuckles covering his mouth but he deliberately did it loud enough to get everyone's attention. Once their eyes fixated on him he started to speak, didn't bother looking them in the eyes.

"It isn't entirely true there are no clothes we can give her for a disguise. I actually keep a few dresses stored in the bilge."

"Why do you have clothes for girl..." Dorobou stopped himself when he remembered who he was talking to. "Oh. You know there's a place for people who can't go five minutes without outwardly lusting after girls, Yokai, and it's called Impel Down."

"I don't want to wear provocative clothes. Just to hide that I'm a girl."

"And the hair? Are there a lot of people with silver colored hair?"

Dorobu looked at the hair said.

"If it is true..."

Aedoni stopped her hand.

"No hair pulling. It's not real silver or at least I hope so."

"Before we talk about how we are going to disguise this dirt but still beautiful girl from the citizens who are ruled by an unjust mayor, can we get back to the ship Sherry, Fletcher and Yokai to see what clothes he's been keeping." Christopher suggested.

"You can use the lumberjacks' turns, in fact I was going to ask them for help. Right now the second group will be starting. And we can take refuge in my old house, nobody lives there anymore. Not even Mira. And if you had a nightmare from your past You would get grounded like, got it?"

Not many really understood what she meant but they all mostly nodded their heads except for Yokai who was standing upright grooving with his stick in both his arms like he was about to limbo.

They walked until they reached the edge of the forest and as Aedoni said there are already woodcutters, she walked towards them.

"Good afternoon, good felling."

"Oh, Emissary, good afternoon. What brings you here?"

"See these foreigners, the mayor requisitioned their ship and thanks to Rouge they found me. Could someone guide them to the pier? I'm sure they'll be able to get on the ship without any problem. And if they finally go down, guide them to the Relius house."

"I'll talk to those who are going now, but if they leave..."

"So be it, you're not here to hunt the Fenrir. If it were, it wouldn't help you."

"Hahahahahahahaha, that's true."

She came back and said.

"Okay, all set, if you want to go, you can. Mira is surely waiting for that hunter. Yokai, you can faint from the shock."

Yokai nodded his head before going on to fall to the ground. No sooner did he fall was his sprawled body poked by the hyperactive Fletcher.

"That was fast."

"For them I am the Emissary of Fenrir, I appeared after Relius Aedoni disappeared. Although I never liked Relius and changed it to Lycain Aedoni. I'm sure many of you may know something but that would put you in danger. I guess it's goodbye. "

"Does it have to be goodbye?" Fletcher asked with a forlorn look on his face.

"I still have to deal with Mira, tomorrow is our birthday and it's time for everyone to know the truth about Fenrir. I can't leave and make them feel abandoned, the truth will free them."

Christopher felt so moved by this rousing speech of hers.

Thank you for the speech but you are right, since you give us this opportunity, let's take advantage of it" Dorobu said grabbing the chest"

"Yes, thank you for giving us an opportunity like this." Yokai thanked.

Some woodcutters were waiting for them but Sherry said almost shouting.

"Aedoni saved me in Loguetown, saved me from kidnapping."

"Sherry no, that's enough."

"No Aedoni, they don't know enough of the secrets. Aedoni saved me from being separated from you without you knowing where I would go. She did it without asking for anything in return. I want to return the favor."

"Oh we know all about Aedoni and how kind she is," one of the lumberjacks said. "We lumberjacks blend in with the forest listening to the trilling of crickets and the buzzing of bees, but more the ones trying to be secretive."

"And despite being reserved, I never hesitate to help. It's a part of me and I know I'll never change. Good luck on your journey."

Aedoni said goodbye to Fletcher and his crew before setting off for the Relius house. The woodcutters helped them enter the city by making them carry some firewood. When they got to the sawmill, one of the woodcutters told them.

"The port is behind, watch out for the big ship, some strange guys came out and are trying to hunt the Fenrir. Don't let them see you."

Fletcher couldn't change his body more than get some wings for his hands but he made up for it by being able to fly into the stratosphere and fly down without any loss of breath or overexertion.

The others came closer as he flew. Upon arrival he saw the reality, from the large ship several chains stretched along the sides of the ship and practically prevented the ships from leaving. Upon reaching his companions, I do not hesitate to tell them what happened and what he really wanted to do.

"Are you kidding me?" Dorobou complained. "In just one day we've had to go hunting, see a Fenrir, make enemies with the mayor and now your asking us to deal with an army of ships that could dwarf even a Buster Call? This is...this is..."

"So like you, Fletcher." Christopher answered.

"And what do we do with Aedoni? Do we end up leaving or do we stay and get to safety? If we don't get out of the ship we could be arrested if we stay too long."

"That's how it is."

The voice came from the port, there was Captain Rouge and she was not happy.

"In the end they didn't listen to me. Unfortunately I can't help you nor can you leave. The metal of the chains is Kairoseki. But that doesn't come now. Why aren't you with her?"

"She's a very hard lady to keep up with. With any luck she'll be hiding in the village so well we'll never find her."

"Impossible, now Mira has her eye on the inhabitants. If anyone helps her, they will die. I thought she would have humanity again with you but I was wrong. I couldn't help her well before, I won't be able to help her now."

"That's the problem." Nautilus spoke up. Everyone looked at him with confused looks on their faces. "Your trying to help her not teach her. Have you tried going to her and telling her how what she is doing is turning people against her?"

"Have you looked at her well? She lost half a life being a forced hermit, at first people didn't see her as a person but a monster until a year later she appeared as the Fenrir and people realized their fatal mistake. I said that Lycan Aedoni was Relius Aedoni but no one sees it that way, believing that the young Fenrir who appeared 9 years ago killed her and that's why Mira wants her fur. But the truth is more horrible. Mira wants her dead for bearing the name of the first Fenrir, for being different from her and being unique. Teach her you say!? I've been teaching her everything for 9 years, she knows the truth and she's afraid, she wants to leave here but she's afraid, she's alone and she needs a friend and I can't because I must stay here."

"Staying here is really important to you. Have you tried telling her in great detail why you should stay here and intend to the people, implore her to do more for these people on her own?"

"Aedoni has thought a lot, but even so she can't leave, she needs Mira to pay for what she did to her and for the people to beg for another leader. Revenge? Justice? Whatever it is, I can't decide for her. Tomorrow she'll be 18 just like Mira. Well, I'm already disappointed to trust you, do what you want. But think of one thing. Would you shake hands with Aedoni if she's in trouble?"

"I'd shake hands with her." Fletcher replied.
