She had never wanted to be revived and had killed her reviver She had resisted resurrection, but lost her concentration when Inuyasha spoke her name. Now she was face to face with the lover who had killed her

"BETRAYER", yelled Kikyo, as she attempted to purify Inuyasha ."You were the one whose claws I felt rip through my shoulder and my chest. You were one who stole the Jewel. You stood over me taunting me with the Jewel while I lay in a pool of my own blood."

It was clear that this time she meant to kill Inuyasha in the same manner that she had previously killed Urasuae. Inuyasha was too stunned to move. He was unwilling to lift his hand against the woman he loved. He bowed his head and waited for death.
