Author's Note: Okay, I told myself that I'd never do a Spencer-running-away story, so this is the closest you guys will ever get to one from me.

Day Sixty-One: Chasing Pavements by Adele

She stared at the suitcase. She was positive that this was what she wanted to do. She had made up her mind ever since he put the idea in her head.

She knew she had gotten her hopes up countless times before, only to have them fall short. But she could tell this was different. He was different. She thought that she could finally depend on him. This could finally be it.

After all, she had no one else to depend on.

But she didn't know if it was right. She never really thought of herself being a moral person, but she didn't know if this was the right thing to do. Her heart said yes. Her mind said no.

The mere idea of running away and abandoning everyone without notice should've been a red flag. She should've known right there that this was wrong. But she didn't stop herself.

She looked out of her bedroom window. This would be the last time she looked out if she left. Surely, her parents would never let her step foot back in this house. Especially if they knew she ran away with him.

She hated that they thought of him in this way. They thought it was just love, especially on his end. There was no way someone like Toby Cavanaugh could fall in love with Spencer Hastings. And the converse of that scenario was certainly never to happen.

But she knew it was love. She wanted to tell them that, but they would never be convinced of it, no matter how much she said it.

Even then, as she said it to herself very quietly, she didn't believe it. She needed to say that to him. She needed to tell him.

Part of her thought to call him and tell him it wasn't right and to call this whole thing off. But most of her wanted to go. She knew here…she would only be chasing and pining after love which didn't really exist.

Her parents were never going to love her. Not the way she wanted to be loved. What was the point of trying?

Even if this road she was about to be taking with him led nowhere…at least she felt something with him. She felt like that was her place.

She knew what she was going to do.

Sarah: Well...life happens. And whatever you decide to do, I'll be there. And happy late birthday! Sorry. I was supposed to update yesterday but I had...stuff. And it's five nearly here and I still have not done anything except for take a shower and eat breakfast and brush my teeth and actually brush my hair, which is actually more productive than most of my weekends are. Pat on the back for me. Thanks. And some girls in my school saw Miley Cyrus recently. One girl said that some girl near their group took her bra off in the middle of the concert. Then again, she said she was pretty sure she saw people using drugs and stuff. I'm waiting patiently for a Marina concert or a Lana concert (though I've heard tickets to see Lana are hella expensive and I don't have money).

LittleBittyAbby: When I was younger, I did ballet, jazz, and tap and I remember actually not being so bad at it. Then in like the first or second grade, I stopped because I got bored. I went again for tap/jazz in the fifth grade (and I also sat in a lyrical class and did the dance there, I just didn't perform with them and sometimes I didn't go to that class...my friend was in it so she brought me there and nobody ever said anything, so...). I tap in my basement. I actually got an award for tap from that studio. They totally messed up my name on the award, but we kept it for laughs. I know how to do a pirouette, so I'm so proud of myself. And I can do a double in tap shoes. Idk, we can stop talking about it if it makes you uncomfortable.

AL3110: SAME. Like nobody knows who Gin Wigmore or ZZ Ward or The Civil Wars or Marina and the Diamonds are (and not everyone even knows about Lana). And Idk why, it makes me SO MAD when people are like, "Oh, yeah, well, PLL created them. PLL made them popular". Like, I like PLL, but it annoys me SO much like you cannot imagine. PLL is not the only show with good songs, guys...I mean...there are other shows that have good music, too. And they usually don't even use their best songs (though I admit, Kill of the Night by Gin Wigmore IS one my favourite tracks by her). Oh, yeah. Mob Wives has pretty amazing music, as well.

tobyequalshottness: You have no idea how often I get told that. I think I'm just good at setting up multi-chaps. Like, that's my thing. But I drag out the multi-chaps too long. #struggle.

MizzIsTheFizz: I thought the uniqueness was pretty good in the previous chapter :)

As I now read these reviews, I realize how much they actually are totally unrelated to the one-shots. I know that's partially my fault, but please, in your review, not only tell me about your life and how you like strawberries like me or whatever, but what you thought of the one-shot. Even if it's as short as "oh, it was good" or "oh, this one sucked. better luck next time, Kayson."

Well...PSA aside, the next one-shot will be All-American Girl by Carrie Underwood, which I'm actually pretty excited about.

Please review and let me know what you thought about this chapter! -Kayson
