The week passed slowly. Eddward went to and from his classes. Coffee has become his new best friend. He had many meetings he had to go to, resulting in him not seeing Kevin as often as he would like. Kevin also has been very busy. With more football games approaching it seemed like he had practice every day. By the time he was finished with practice he was to tired to call Eddward, let a lone walk to his apartment. The day came to a close as Eddward walked out of his hall and down the street to the coffee shop. I'll get me some more coffee and I'll head home. He thought to himself. He stood in line waiting for his coffee when someone tapped him on his shoulder.

"Yes, can I help you?" Eddward asked turning around. A small girl stood behind him, she wore glasses. I know her.

"Yes...um... Professor Vincent I have your class on Monday and I was having difficulty writing your paper you assigned. I tried to catch you during your office hours but I missed you. I was wondering when would be a good time for me to come by and get help?" She asked.

"How about now if you are not busy." Eddward said not really ready to go home.

"Yes!" She exclaimed smiling in victory. "My name is Julie Stineberg." She stuck her hand out. He accepted her hand and they shook. Eddward paid for his coffee and followed Julie farther into the cafe. They sat at a table in the back where it was quieter than in the front. Julie sat across from him and pulled out her textbooks with some pieces of paper. "So we have to write a paper about our own views on the Constitution. You told us to express one of our concerns about the Constitution that we question." She said pulling a pencil out from behind her ear. Eddward sat across from her silently listening to the things she had to say. "See I love the way the Constitution was constructed. It was written in a way that even a hundreds of years later we still use it everyday. I personally think that the founding fathers were born way before their time." She chuckled. "For example we are able to amend the Constitution in a way that it evolves so it still works." She said. Eddward nodded.

"Well it seems to me that you are fascinated with the way the Constitution was constructed. You seem well aware that it was constructed in a way that for in the distant further the Constitution will still be the supreme law of the land. That the way it was written is so it can still address issues that people from that time could never had imagined to happen." He said. Julie wrote down everything he said.

"Exactly but I don't know how to write that." She frowned.

"Well think of it like this, the Declaration of Independence was wrote to address the issues the colonies had with the king. One of it's famous quotes is, 'We hold these truths to be sacred & undeniable; that all men are created equal & independent, that from that equal creation they derive rights inherent & inalienable, among which are the preservation of life, & liberty, & the pursuit of happiness...' with emphases on the last part, the pursuit of happiness, was to the original thought." Julie tilted her head. "It was the pursuit of property. However, at that time slavery still existed. Many of the founding fathers knew that eventually slavery would end. Instead of saying that everyone has the right to property, meaning the slaves, they excluded that part to help aid the future abolishment of slavery." Eddward said.

"Wow I didn't know that. I see know so like us holding the power to be amended to help it still have effect in todays day and age is really unique. I know what I am going to write about." She smiled at him. Eddward began to rise from the table gathering his things. "Oh wait Professor! Please stay a little longer, I am afraid that I might need some more help." Eddward smiled at her and sat down. While she works I might as work to. Eddward pulled out a stack of papers and began reading them. Time passed slowly.

"All finish!" Julie said smiling.

"Good work." Eddward retorted.

"Would you like to read it?"

"No thank you I believe it would be better for me to wait to read it. Who knows you might want to change some things later down the road."

"You're right, I can't to turn it in." Julie gathered her things and waved goodbye to Eddward and left the coffee shop. Eddward decided to stay in the coffee shop and grade more papers. Not really wanting to go outside and face the bitter winds of the fall. Paper after paper Eddward became more engulfed in his work when a slim hand startled him causing him to knock over his empty cup of coffee.

"I apologize Professor." An employee said. "I didn't mean to startle you. However, we are closing and I must ask that you leave the shop." Eddward nodded and gathered his things and quickly exited the shop. I didn't even realize how late it was. Eddward walked down the deserted path towards his apartment. I really need to start paying attention to my surroundings. I shouldn't be out this late.

Eddward climbed the stairs to his apartment and quickly entered his home. All the lights were off. Before Eddward always felt at home when he was in his apartment. But now he feels so lonely in his own home. Ever since Kevin entered his life they have spent an abundant amount of time together. The more time he spent with Kevin the more he felt alone when Kevin wasn't with him. Kicking off his shoes Eddward walked into the kitchen and made himself a cup of coffee.

"It's already that late? God what am I going to do with myself." Eddward mumbled under his breath looking at the clock. It's already 11:32 P.M. Eddward snatched his coffee and his laptop and headed into his study. Powering up his laptop he sat at his desk and went to work. Ping. Eddward recognized the familiar sound of his email and opened it. From the Education Hall?

Shit. Eddward thought to himself. I've been so overwhelmed with work that I completely forgot about that essay. It was mentioned in the last meeting I went to. Damn. Eddward opened up a new blank document and started to write.

Knock knock... Knock knock... Knock knock... Who could be knocking on my door this early in the mooring? Eddward sat at his desk with books piled up to the ceiling, coffee stains sating papers, post it notes on everything. Eddward rose from his seat stretching and went to get the door.

"What..." Eddward mumbled shielding his eyes from the sun.

"You look like shit."

"What?" Eddward said focusing on who stood before him." Emily. "What are you doing here so early in the morning?"

"Morning? You got to be kidding me it's five in the evening. Why do you look like you just woke up?"

"Because I did, now what do you want?"

"Rude much." She said popping her gum. "I came to drop off your suit. Remember? Bring it at five on Friday."

"That's right. I'm sorry."

"May I come in?" Eddward nodded holding the door open for her.

"What the hell happened in here?" Emily said as Eddward closed the door. "It looks like a tsunami came through here." She turned and looked at Eddward. Books lay on the floor in piles, papers stacked disorderly, and post it notes on books, the walls, even the T.V.

"I had to write a thesis." He mumbled.

"So you tore your house up. Man you have a lot of books. More than my school's library." Eddward snorted and went into the kitchen.

"Would you like a cup of coffee?" He yelled.

"Sure." She answered walking in the kitchen.

"Any preference?" He asked pulling out a box of coffee grains.

"Anything but the taste of American Literature." She said moving books off of a chair. Eddward glared at her. She held her hands up in defense.

"So what do you need?" He asked pouring her a cup of coffee then himself.

"Well I need you to put the suit on so I can see if it's a perfect fit." Eddward nodded and grabbed the suit.

"I'll meet you in the living room." He said. Emily jumped out of her seat and walked into the living room. More books! Eddward walked into the bathroom and began to put the suit on when he heard a knock at the door.

"Want me to get it?" Emily shouted.

"Yes please." Emily jumped off a stack of books and ran to the door. She threw it open to be met by a tall boy with red hair.

"Who are you?" They both asked the same time.

"I'm Emily, a friend of Eddward's. Who are you?"

"I'm Kevin, a student of Eddward's. Why are you here?" He asked eyeballing her. Who is this girl?

"Aren't students like not supposed to visit their professors' houses?" She asked.

"I'm special." Kevin said walking in. Emily closed the door behind him. "What happened in here?" Kevin said shocked examine all the books and papers everywhere.

"Weird, same thing I asked. I guess Eddward had a thesis to write. You know he just woke up." She said laughing.

"Is that so." Kevin said starting to get annoyed. Kevin walked into the living room to see more books stacked in piles along with papers. "Where's Eddward?"

"He's changing into his suit I made for him. I got to see if it fits and such." Kevin nodded and began to pick up books and put them back on the shelves where the belonged. Emily picked up papers and placed them neatly on the desk. What am I going to do with him? Kevin thought.

"Who was at the door?" Eddward asked walking into the living room. Kevin's heart skipped a beat. Eddward stood before Kevin in an elegant suit that showed off his body. Eddward stood tall dressed in an elaborate tailcoat that consisted of black trousers, a six button double-breasted tailcoat, a grey vest, white dress shirt, and a black tie. Kevin forgot to breath. "Emily?" Eddward asked as he looked up.

"My go my don't you look handsome!" Emily squealed jumping up and down. "Don't you think so?" She asked Kevin. Kevin nodded his head forgetting how to speak.

"Kevin..." Eddward said. "What are you doing here?" He asked shocked by his presence. Overwhelmed by emotion Kevin crossed the room and kissed Eddward on the lips. It's been so long since I saw him... Eddward opened his mouth exchanging tongue with the Kevin. A slight moan escaped Eddward's lips.

"I missed you... I wanted to see you..." Kevin stuttered. Emily cleared her throat. Kevin completely forgot her presence. They both looked at her.

"Quite the student eh? You know if this was high school it would be quite devious." She said. Eddward chucked and pulled away from Kevin.

"Kevin, this is one of my good friends Emily. Emily, this is my boyfriend Kevin." He said.

"She won't..." Kevin trailed off. Emily held up her hand.

"I won't tell so quite your worrying. Now Eddward let me see stand up on the table please." Eddward did as he was told. "I just need to shorten the pants a little bit okay so hold still." Eddward did as he was told. Kevin began to walk out of the room.

"Where are you going?" Eddward asked.

"Your house is a mess." Kevin said picking up books. As Emily tailored Eddward's suit Kevin cleaned his house.

"All done." Emily and Kevin both said at the same time. They glared at one another.

"Play nice." Eddward said looking at Emily.

"Now take it off." Emily ordered. Eddward quickly disappeared from the room but soon returned in flannel pajama pants and a 'I love science' T-Shirt.

"Thank you so much Emily." Eddward thanked her.

"It was my please so I'll see you tomorrow."

"Tomorrow?" Kevin asked.

"Yes, Emily will be my date to the ball. Unfortunately I can't take you." Eddward said kissing Kevin on the cheek. Eddward and Kevin walked Emily to the door.

"Okay. Oh don't forget the corsage is in the fridge." Eddward titled his head. "Hey it's a formal event so I bought us one." She winked at Eddward and left.

Kevin pushed Eddward up against the wall and kissed him passionately. Eddward ran his hands through Kevin's hair pulling him closer. Tongues entered each other's mouth. Kevin ran his hands under Eddward's shirt, paying special attention to his delicate nipples. Moans escaped Eddward's lips when they bike off the kiss. Kevin kissed down Eddward's neck gently sucking and biting making Eddward's body quiver. Eddward pulled Kevin's face back up to his so he could look him in the eye.

"I missed you so much. I haven't seen you in a week." Eddward said breathlessly.

"I missed you too." Kevin kissed Eddward quickly on the lips. Kevin began to kiss Eddward's neck more making Eddward slowly lose his concentration.

"Kevin wait." Eddward said pulling Kevin's head back up. "Not now." He said.

"Why not. I haven't felt you in a week." Kevin pouted.

"I know. I want you too but I have to finish my work and I haven't showered since yesterday." Eddward kissed Kevin on his cheek and grabbed his arm leading him to his office. "Thirty minutes that's all I need I promise." Eddward said. Eddward sat in his chair and resumed typing his essay. Kevin sat in the chair across from Eddward's desk and watched him work. Eddward's glasses fell farther down his face making him look more erotic to Kevin.

"Why was your house so messy?" Kevin asked. Eddward turned pages to look at Kevin then back at his book.

"Well the Education Hall needed us to write a thesis and I forgot about it to be honest." Eddward grimaced. "I've been up since last night writing it."

"You haven't been to sleep."

"Not since yesterday." Eddward yawned. Kevin looked closer at Eddward. I can see the bags under his eyes. He looks so exhausted. Kevin stood and went to the kitchen to make Eddward some coffee. It must be hard being a professor. I never knew. Kevin walked back into his office and placed the cup on his table.

"Thank you." Eddward said. Kevin walked out of the room. "Where are you going?"

"Ima leave you to work. I'll be back." Kevin threw Eddward a smile over his shoulders. Kevin ventured into Eddward's room and picked up some of his clothes and books littered over the floor. Maybe I should do his laundry to occupy my time. Kevin gathered all of the clothes that were littered on the floor and in his laundry hamper and began to do laundry. Kevin also managed to pick up dishes deciding to wash them. Minutes turned into hours shortly. Kevin looked at the clock and saw that it was already 9. Kevin looked around and saw that he had completely cleaned his house from top to bottom. Kevin went back to Eddward's study and knocked on the door. No answer.

"Eddward?" Kevin called. No answer. Kevin opened the door to Eddward's office and saw Eddward asleep in his chair. He looks so peaceful. Kevin walked over to Eddward. He closed his laptop and picked Eddward up bridal style. He's so light. Kevin turned off the light and carried Eddward to his bed. Kevin laid Eddward down and crawled in the bed next to him. Kevin sat propped up on one arm watching him sleep.

"You know I've always loved you Eddward." Kevin whispered. "When I walked into your class the first day and saw you I thought I was going to explode. When we were little and I first met you I've always admired you for your intelligence and kindness. I only hated Eddy for scamming us and well Ed was a little slow. I would watch you through my bedroom window at night. I always prayed you wouldn't catch me. I swore that one day you would be mine, and now that day has come. I am so happy I could die." Kevin kissed Eddward on the forehead. "I love you so much Eddward." A tear fell from Kevin's eye. Eddward stirred in his sleep and rolled over into to Kevin's chest.

"I love you too." Eddward mumbled into his chest. "Don't ever leave me." He said. Kevin encircled Eddward into his arms and held him close to his chest.

"I promise I'll never leave you."
