Author's Note: Sorry, this whole thing is very terse :( But happy mean girls day!

We wear pink on Wednesday...unless it's in the washing machine.

Butter is not a carb. I checked.

Day Seventy-Two: Lovesong by Adele

I was so glad to have Toby back with me. I was happy to be alone with him.

"How was London?" I asked as I watched him unpack some of his things.

"Fine. I was missing you."

I smiled ever-so slightly. Even though we hadn't said much, I was more comfortable with him than I had been for the last few weeks, maybe even months. It was starting to feel like home again.

"Did you really go all the way there to get Melissa?" I inquired softly.

He hesitated for a moment before nodding. "I thought she could comfort you in ways nobody else could. She's your sister," he explained with a small smile.

A small part of me was glad he didn't mention the drugs. That was all my family and my friends could seem to talk about (with the exception of A and Alison). He didn't even think about it. I was glad that my secrets and baggage didn't seem to matter much to him. It made me feel whole and pure again.

I lost myself in thought as he put the last of his things away. He smiled when he noticed something in his closet. "Are you up for a game of Scrabble?"

I gave him a childlike grin. "You bet. I'm not letting you beat me again."

I found myself laughing freely despite myself, as he was ahead by fifteen points.

"Alright, so clearly, you're better at crosswords than me," I said.

"Au contraire, I'm actually bad at crosswords. But I'm good at thinking on the spot," he told me.

I smiled as I put down some more tiles. I had only put down one tile, meaning he had beaten me by two points.

"Can we go and lie down together?" I asked.

He nodded. I stood up and took him by the hand into his bedroom. He lay down on the bed and I snuggled into the curves of his body, where I seemed to fit perfectly.

I felt him running his hands through my hair and his callused fingers skimming his fingers over the shirt I had stolen from him. I couldn't help but bite my lip and smile.

Even though he was an ocean away for what felt like ages and even though I had treated him with a cold, deafening silence before he left, I could still feel our closeness. I knew it was because I loved him.

I loved him.

So I actually literally have no time :( I'm sorry, guys. I'll respond to all your reviews in the next update, okay? It should be tomorrow, unless something unexpectedly pops up!

The next one-shot is going to be Glitter in the Air by P!nk, which I think you'll actually love. I really liked it. :)

And I have a funny story about Latin for tomorrow... :D Forgive me? -Kayson
