As a joke, Piper once dared Leo into kissing the first girl to walk by him. But, it had backfired, badly. That girl had been Annabeth, and, Percy had seen the whole thing.
He'd ended up chasing Leo through camp, into the woods, and halfway up a mountain. But, eventually, the poor Latino elf had nowhere else to run, he was trapped.
Percy had returned to the camp a few hours later, Leo in tow, and he looked awful. He had two black eyes, his nose was bent at an odd angle, and he appeared to be only half conscious.
"What happened!" Chiron asked worriedly as the two boys walked toward him
"He kissed Annabeth!"
"Percy... What did you do?" Annabeth asked as she came closer
"It was just a dare!" Piper yelled "You didn't have to beat him up!"
