The next day the family was coming back and Dean knew he needed to keep these people out but he also knew the man would not buy another story. When they pulled up they saw the family unloading their things into the house. Dean was walking towards the family.
"Look I don't know who you are but I know you NOT from the town or the State, who are you people?" The man was asking Dean and he looked pretty mad.
"I'm Dean. This here is my brother Sam and sister Lexi. We think your house is haunted Mr-." Dean was saying when he was trying to get his name.
"Brian Carter." He told Dean as he still was not looking thrilled.
"So what is that you want?" With that another man who was coming over.
Dean and Sam gave this man a look as who are you.
"This is my brother-inlaw Ted." Brian was telling Dean.
"So what makes you think my house is haunted?" Brian was asking the Winchesters.
"Some folks around here were telling us." Sam was telling Brian and Ted.
"Well I just think you three better leave." Brian said when he sounded like it was a threat.
Sam was moving Lexi behind him. They were then leaving.
"When it gets dark we'll come back and see if anything strange happens." Suggested Dean as Sam and Lexi, were agreeing.
That night they were staking out in front of the Carter house. They were hiding out in the woods.
"I just hope this is gonna help?" Lexi said while she sat there between her brother.
"Yeah me too." Sam told her when she saw the worried look on his face.
They were then sitting out there for at least one hour. With that they heard yelling and they were then running up to the house. Dean just broke down the door. When they ran in, they saw a girl with messy and ragged clothes on, she was screaming.
"Whoooa." Dean said when he saw the girl by the door, but the she disappeared.
"What happened?" Lexi was asking Susan Carter, who is Brian's wife.
"Our son Danny is gone." She said when she was hysterical.
"Ok lets get the girls to safety." Dean suggested when they were then following Brian to their shed.
"What do we do now?" Ted was asking Dean.
"Ok. Lex, you stay here with Mrs. Carter and Kate." Dean suggested to his sister when he saw the look on her face. He hated to leave her but he knew his sister was a strong and great hunter.
Just before they left, Lexi gave Sam a look.
"Be careful." She told her brother softly.
When he was leaving he gave her a smile. She making Susan and Kate hide in the shed.
"Can they get us in here?" A frightening Kate was asking Lexi.
"I don't wanna lie. But if they wanna they can. But were gonna salt the door and make a circle.
"Ok. What is that for?" Susan was then asking Lexi.
"This is a devils trap and the salt will keep them out." Lexi said while she was pouring the salt.
"Momma I don't wanna die." Kate was telling her Mom.
"You wont baby girl." Susan said to her daughter when they both gave each other a hug.
"Your Mom is right. My brothers will do whatever it takes to keep everyone safe." Lexi said to them when she then looked towards the outdoor and thought of her brothers.
"You three are very close?" Susan was asking lexi.
"Yeah. They pretty much raised me. I lost my mom at the age of 6 months and lost my dad when I was pretty young as well." Lexi was saying when a tear was brought to her eye.
