3 Chapter 25: Mourning and Leaving
The quiet walk back to the hospital wing was far from quiet and involved very little walking. Twice Alexis and Harry were almost seen. The first was by Filch, but he was conveniently distracted by Mrs. Norris, his cat, who directed his attention to the opposite side of the hall Alexis and Harry were hiding down.
The second time was when the two third years were just down the hall from the hospital wing. Fudge and Swine were surely going to see them if it wasn't by pure chance Peeves floated out of the floor and caught sight of Alexis and Harry poorly hidden behind a suit of armor. Alexis mouthed the word 'Distraction' and Peeves immediately took action.
"Winey Swiney and pudgy Fudgy!" sang Peeves. "Come to visit Peevies Weevie?"
"Bloody Merlin," groaned Swine. Fudge seemed to be in just as good of mood as Swine at the sight of Hogwarts poltergeist.
"Yes, well, we are here on official Ministry business-"
"Ohh! Pudgy Fudgy isn't the same tubby Firstie Peeves remembers?"
"Now see here-"
Peeves made a loud raspberry sound while circling around Fudge and Swine, drawing their full attention. And, as much as Alexis would have liked to see how Peeves was going to instigate the Minister, it gave the two Gryffindors the opportunity to sneak by them through the shadows. They were fortunate enough to hear Peeves yell, "Got your conk!" before crackling loudly. The laughter was cut off abruptly, most like because Peeves had dove through a wall that blocked off his laughter from carrying through the hall anymore.
Alexis and Harry stopped just outside the hospital wing doors as a figure stepped out of them backwards. It was Dumbledore. He was still talking to their past selves.
"-three turns should do it. Tell them all they need to know. Good luck."
Dumbledore closed the doors and turned around. His blue eyes twinkled and a soft smile fell on his face when he caught sight of Alexis and Harry.
"Well?"
"We saved Buckbeak and used him to help Sirius escape," said Harry.
"And Ron?"
Silence was the answer. Dumbledore smiled grimly.
"There was nothing you two could have done," he said in a soft whisper.
"But why didn't you tell us?" asked Harry slightly angry.
"Would you have listened?" asked Dumbledore. "No, I wished to give you the chance to if you thought you could but some things in time can not be changed. There are, shall we say, set points in time. I'm sure Alexis realized this once she pieced together it had been you who saved your past selves from the Dementors."
"How did you-"
"Though your Legilimency is very strong, your Occlumency needs work," replied Dumbledore simply. "You have a habit of opening your mind before fully waking up."
Alexis nodded her head in understanding while Harry looked back and forth between the Headmaster and Alexis as if he was about to ask them to elaborate. However, he thought better of it and instead shook his head.
"Mr. Weasley saw us."
Dumbledore lifted a bushy eyebrow.
"He was a little mad," said Harry. "I think he was going to kill Sirius but then Hex, well, then Hex showed him the truth."
"Arthur Weasley loves his family very much," said Dumbledore. "I am not surprised that he would go mad with the need for revenge at the lost them but I do not believe that he would have killed Sirius Black in the end. His heart is too good for murder."
Though she hadn't believed it when Mr. Weasley's wand was trained on her, Alexis realized she agreed with Dumbledore. Mr. Weasley was a good hearted man that was lost in his grief but not lost enough to forget the rest of his family needing him.
'Yeah, my dad is pretty amazing,' boasted Ron making Alexis smirk.
"I think -" said Dumbledore. He listened intently for any sound within the hospital wing. "Yes, I think you've gone too - get inside - I'll lock you in -"
Without another word, Alexis and Harry slipped back into the hospital wing just as Hermione was about to close her curtains. She smirked as her two friends crept to their beds after returning her Time Turner.
"Any luck?"
Alexis and Harry merely smirked back at her before snuggling up in the same bed like they had during their first year. It wasn't nearly as comfortable as it had been, especially since the two of them had grown a great deal over the last two years, but they settled in next to each other naturally just as Madam Pomfrey reappeared from her office. She gave Alexis and Harry a small glance before shaking her head.
"If I told you to go to separate beds, would you?"
Alexis chuckled before lying her head down on the pillow without a word. Harry followed suit, a smirk playing on his lips as his eyelids started to drop. Only then did the two of them realize how tired they really were. It was a matter of minutes before they both fell into a surprisingly peaceful sleep.
.
The next day, Alexis, Harry, and Hermione, along with a moodier than ever Snape, when they were released from the hospital wing, found themselves in an almost deserted castle. With the school year ending, most of the students had gone on their last Hogsmeade trip or were spending their free time outdoors. However, the three friends didn't enjoy the silence for long. Dumbledore himself took them to something Alexis had never been to before and since then never wanted to go to again. He took them to a funeral.
The Headmaster and Remus apparated the three third years to a small church in a town called Ottery St. Catchpole. The amount of red heads inside said church was unrealistic and it made it quite obvious when it came to pointing out the nonWeasleys present. Mr. Weasley and his close family sat in the front along with Alexis, Harry, and Hermione all holding hands and close together.
Mr. Weasley seemed like the anchor for his family. Though tears still flowed down his cheek, he took his wife and each of his children into his arms to comfort them. He even pulled Alexis, Harry, and Hermione into individual hugs, inviting each of them to the Burrow for the summer.
Mrs. Weasley seemed to hug everyone there including Dumbledore and a very surprised Remus. He sobs were not silent but Alexis saw the strong mother figure she was and couldn't help but to grow envious of the Weasleys. She felt guilty for it of course, but couldn't help but to wonder if her mother would have been as strong and caring as Mrs. Weasley. She certainly hoped so.
When Fred and George hugged the trio it was one of the few times Alexis was sure they weren't going to try anything. Besides squeezing the breath out of them, the twins also thanked Alexis, Harry, and Hermione for being Ron's friends. When Fred said it should have been him instead of Ron, Hermione jumped at him, surprising him both with her hug and her sobs. George joined the hug seconds later along with Alexis and Harry.
The worst was Bill, Ron's oldest older brother. Alexis had only ever seen him once, at the end of her first year, and he seemed to have been Ron's favorite older brother. Bill must have felt the same for his younger brother for he was constantly being comforted by one of his siblings or relatives but mainly by Charlie, the only other Weasley boy Alexis didn't know. Bill seemed to find the whole situation his fault and refused to think otherwise until Dumbledore spoke to him alone. After that, he merely let tears roll down his cheeks.
Charlie seemed to be the most like his father in his actions and did a great amount of comforting rather than receiving comfort. He seemed most eager to help Bill out but he also tried comforting each of his siblings and parents.
The only one who didn't seem to want comfort or give any of it was Percy. His posture was stiff and his face white as snow but he seemed to be incapable of understanding what had happened. This only led to his mother hugging him tighter and trying everything to comfort him as she knew he needed. Nonetheless, he remained as still as a floor lamp.
When the funeral finally ended, Dumbledore and Remus took the weatherworn looking third years back to Hogwarts. Percy and the twins were given the last few days of school off to mourn. Their test scores would be sent to them via owl.
Tears were still streaming down Hermione's eyes as Alexis and Harry tried to comfort her when Dumbledore spoke.
"I'm afraid, Alexis," he said gravely, "I must ask your presence in my office. We have visitors."
Without even trying to hide her distain for who she knew was waiting on her, Alexis hugged her friends one last time before walking silently with Dumbledore to the Headmaster's office.
"Sugar quills," said Dumbledore as they reached the entrance. The statue moved out of their way and the two ascended the stairs.
Sure enough, Alexis scowled at the first two faces she saw only for her facial expression to soften at the next two.
"Hello Lucius, Madeye."
"Good afternoon, Alexis," said Lucius Malfoy with a smile.
"Lass," grunted Madeye Moody.
"I suppose this is about my family?" asked Alexis, directing her attention towards Swine and Fudge.
"You are to explain how you came upon the knowledge of your heritage, yes," corrected Fudge.
Alexis tried very hard not to snort, knowing Lucius found it unladylike. "You give a lot of orders, especially for something that isn't against the law to know. It is, after all, my family, not yours. So unless you ask nicely you're not getting anything from me."
Moody, unlike Alexis, didn't care if he was unladylike, thank Merlin, and did snort. Lucius smiled softly and Dumbledore's eyes twinkled with mirth.
"Now see here-"
"May you please tell us how you came upon your inheritance?" asked Swine, earning him a raise eyebrow from the Minister. He merely shrugged. "She was raised by McPherson, sir. He was a stubborn bastard."
Moody grunted in approval and Alexis almost smiled at Swine before she caught herself. No way was she giving Swine that satisfaction.
"There we go," she teased rudely. "Was that so hard?"
"Now Alexis," chided Dumbledore half heartedly from his spot by the open window. "No teasing."
"Right," said Alexis. "My apologies-" she didn't sound sincere in the slightest "- where shall I begin? How about the fact that for half the school year I thought Sirius Black was my father because of your-" she pointed at Fudge directly "- big mouth at Hogsmeade. When I finally found out I wasn't his daughter but his cousin's it was by him. That makes Lucius my uncle and Draco my cousin. Now my question is simple: why would you want me dead if both my parents were just freaking Deatheaters? Why didn't you just let my relatives raise me or put me up for adoption?"
There was silence in the office. Fudge had looked ready to leave the moment Alexis had said Sirius had told her her parents. He started moving towards the fireplace to Floo way without a word towards Alexis only to be cut off by Moody.
"Yes, Alastor?" Fudge asked nervously.
"The lass asked yeh' a question, one that's been ignored long enough, Minister."
Fudge turned towards Dumbledore for help only to find the Headmaster conveniently staring out the window. He then turned to Swine but he didn't meet Fudge's eye. With one last plea, he turned towards Lucius for help.
"I see this as an excellent opportunity for you Minister," said Lucius in a high aristocratic sounding voice. "The perfect way to cover up losing Black."
"How so?"
Alexis couldn't help but to agree with Fudge's confusion.
"Well," said Lucius slyly, a smirk playing on his lips. "Alexis is after all my niece but she is, as far as our world knows, a McPherson. To clear up her heritage to our world-" Fudge began to make an objection but Lucius continued "- and to save the Ministry from any shame I suggest you make a deal."
"A deal?" repeated Fudge. "What kind of deal?"
"A deal," replied Lucius smiling like a fox. "You announce Alexis as the heir to the Lestrange fortune as well as the Black seeing that her mother is the eldest living Black and Alexis has not been disowned or imprisoned lawfully, and we make Tomas McPherson into a war hero."
"What kind of deal is that, Lucius?"
"A simple one. Announce McPherson as an Unspeakable assigned with the task of protecting the child of high ranking Deatheaters and not a traitor to the Ministry would be in the headlines for months, maybe even a year. If you play it well you shall be able to convince the public of your heroic attempt at keeping an innocent out of dark hands and avoid bad press about Black."
"But he killed Tom!" Alexis snapped. "No one is going to believe-"
"It was never announced how McPherson met his end," said Swine grimly. "Only that he was found dead. One good article and everything works out as Lord Malfoy says it will."
"Except if I don't go along with what you say," seethed Alexis. "I'm not going to help the Ministry get brownie points when they've wanted me dead for thirteen years."
"Unless the Minister gives you what you want," added Lucius.
"I want Tom alive!" snapped Alexis. "And he had him killed!"
There was a long silence that was only broken when an owl flew in through the open window and landed on Dumbledore's arm.
"Assist the Minister, Alexis," said Lucius softly, "and he'll tell you why it all happened."
Alexis huffed loudly. She may hate the Ministry but she wasn't going to give up the opportunity to clear McPherson's name.
"Fine, tell me."
Fudge, clearly pleased with Lucius's deal enough that he was willing to finally answer Alexis's question, spoke. "Bellatrix Lestrange was a seductress for the Deatheaters."
There was something implied in that sentence, something Alexis noticed but didn't like.
"You're telling me," said Alexis calmly, "that the reason you were going to have me killed was because you didn't know which one of my mothers 'lovers' was my old man?"
No one replied and it was a good thing too for their answer would have been drowned out by Alexis.
"ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME! THAT'S THE BIGGEST PEICE OF CRAP I'VE EVER FU-"
"Alexis," said Dumbledore calmly but Alexis silenced at once, "could you tell Professor Lupin his carriage has arrived? I have a few things left to discuss with the Minister."
"That be awesome," said Alexis. "I'd rather not give pudgy Fudgy a real reason to put me in Azkaban."
And with only a quick nod goodbye to Lucius and Moody, Alexis descended the spiral staircase out of Dumbledore's office and headed towards Remus's office. She was just down the hall from it when she ran into Harry.
"How did it go?" he asked. One look at his friend gave him his answer. "You're going to explain in detail later?"
"Absolutely but only after I see Remus," replied Alexis.
"Dumbledore send you to tell him his carriage is here?"
Alexis raised an eyebrow. "Yes. How did you-"
"He's leaving, Hex," said Harry. "He's leaving for good. Snape told everyone he was a werewolf so he thought it was best that he left before the letters came in. Plus he's really upset with himself about Moony. He's afraid of what could have happened if-"
"-if Sirius hadn't gotten there in time?" said Alexis. She sighed deeply. "I got to talk to him, see ya."
With a quick hug goodbye, the trio had been hugging a lot recently, the two friends departed from each other. Alexis walked into Remus's office to find the young Defense teacher standing by his window with his briefcase and trunk at his side.
"Hey, old man," Alexis said softly. Remus turned around and smiled faintly at her.
"Kid," he said in a raspy voice. He looked tired and not just because of the full moon. "Didn't think I'd see you today."
"Dumbledore sent me," said Alexis walking inside the office further. "But I would of come on my own if I had known you were leaving."
"Well," said Remus smirking to himself, "I wasn't planning on telling anyone but once again Dumbledore meddled. Not that I'm angry at him, of course."
"Of course," said Alexis. She picked up Remus's briefcase for him. "Moony forgives you, you know? No one blames you for anything."
Remus laughed bitterly.
"But if I hadn't changed, Peter never would have escaped and..."
The two walked out of the office in silence. They were halfway to the stairs when Alexis found her voice.
"It was a set point," she said softly. "Pettigrew was going to escape and Ron was going to die. We couldn't stop, none of us."
"Do you even understand a set point, Hex?"
"You wound me, Remus," teased Alexis. "It's unchangeable... even with a Time Turner."
There was another silence but Alexis could see the difference in Remus. He still blamed himself but not as much as before. The two enjoyed each other's silent company until they finally reached the castle door. That is when Alexis couldn't hold in her question any longer.
"You said you were what happened to end my mother's friendship with the Marauders. What did you mean?"
"I mean," said Remus with a sigh as he tossed his luggage into the carriage with weird horses Alexis had never seen pulling it, "that your mother Trix was once a very dear friend of mine and the rest of the Marauders until she discovered my 'furry problem' as Sirius and James use to put it."
"And when was that?"
"My fifth year," said Remus climbing into the carriage. It started to move hastily down the road but not fast enough for Alexis to miss what Remus mumbled under his breath. "The same year I first kissed her."
"Somebody," said Alexis, waving to the disappearing carriage, "has some serious explaining to do."
But for some reason Alexis wasn't sure if she was ready for that information.
.
The last few days of school passed in a blur for Alexis. She remembered the whispers that ran through the halls wherever she went either for the fact one of her best friends had been killed in front of her or the fact that her name had official been changed to Alexis Lestrange. She remembered also being uncomfortable with all the well-wishers and very suspicious with a few of them especially Marcus Flint and Cassius Warrington. She did remember Cedric hugging her for what felt like hours, telling him he wished there was something he could do and she tried very hard to forget the fact that Cho had attempted to apologize for her rudeness to her all year. There were just something's Alexis wasn't ready for and forgiving was one of them.
Then there was Draco. He and Alexis spent an entire day by the lake discussing their new family status. Though he never actually apologized, nor did she think he ever would, Alexis could tell he wanted her to know he had no choice but not to tell her.
"I know you couldn't tell me," Alexis said after Draco backed out of apologizing for the eighth time. "We're still friends, Draco."
"Cousins, actually," Draco corrected.
"Best cousins," Alexis said with a smirk before splashing her best cousin with lake water. A crackle of laughter filled the air as she ran away from the soaking wet Slytherin who, despite himself, was grinning ear to ear.
As her last day at Hogwarts arrived, Alexis boarded the Hogwarts Express with Harry and Hermione. There was a smile playing on her lips as they closed their private compartment door. She had done extremely well on all her O.W.L.s, especially Potions and Defense, and had been promised a letter from Cedric about the Quidditch World Cup. She was still having trouble sleeping since Ron's death but over all life was getting better.
"I went to see Professor McGonagall this morning, just before breakfast," said Hermione. "I've decided to drop Muggle Studies."
"But didn't you passed your exam with three hundred and twenty percent?" asked Alexis.
"And I thought you wanted to know how Wizards see Muggles?" added Harry.
"I do," sighed Hermione, "but I can't stand another year like this one. That Time-Turner, it was driving me mad. I've handed it in. Without Muggle Studies and Divination, I'll be able to have a normal schedule again."
"I still can't believe you didn't tell us about it," said Harry, shaking his head. "We're supposed to be your friends."
"I promised I wouldn't tell anyone," said Hermione missing the tease in Harry's voice.
"Teasing, Moony, teasing," laughed Alexis. She pulled out a deck of cards. "Exploding Snap?"
"I'm in."
"I suppose."
Grinning, Alexis began the game that went on until they were nearing the end of their trip. That's when they were interrupted by the strange tapping of a bird's beak on their window.
"What is that?" asked Hermione, pointing at something very small and gray, bobbing in and out of sight beyond the glass.
"I don't know," said Alexis, immediately opening her window and grabbing it. Under close examination it was in fact an owl that was far too small for the letter it was carrying. "Isn't it cute?"
"Right," said Harry, clearly thinking the bird looked more like a fuzzy Snitch than an owl. When it started zipping around the room he thought it acted like one too. "Adorable."
"The letter is address to you two by the way," said Hermione, smiling softly at the crazy bird that kept flying back to Alexis.
Harry took hold of the letter and opened it.
"It's from Sirius!"
"What?" said Hermione excitedly. "Read it aloud!"
Dear Alexis and Harry,
I hope this finds you two before you reach London. I don't know how either of your guardians would react to a letter from me.
Buckbeak and I are in hiding. I won't tell you where, in case this owl falls into the wrong hands. I have some doubt about his reliability, but he is the best I could find, and he did seem eager for the job.
I believe the Dementors are still searching for me, but they haven't a hope of finding me here. I am planning to allow some Muggles to glimpse me soon, a long way from Hogwarts, so that the security on the castle will be lifted. Then I have a safe house offered to me by a very unexpected friend. I can't give names for the reason I gave you earlier but I will tell you this- Weasels are very family orientated creatures -
Alexis exchanged looks with her best friends to find them thinking the same thing she was on who Sirius's new friend was.
- and they seem to have added you two to that family. There is something I never got around to telling either you during our brief meeting. It was I who sent you two the Firebolts -
"Ha!" said Hermione triumphantly. "See! I told you it was from him!"
"Yes, but he hadn't jinxed it, had he?" said Harry. Alexis took the letter from his hand and continued reading.
Crookshanks took the order to the Owl Office for me. I used Harry's name but told them to take the gold from my own Gringotts vault. Please consider it as thirteen birthdays' worth of presents from your godfather, Harry, and your uncle, Alexis.
I would also like to apologize for the fright I think I gave you two that night last year when I saw you leaving Harry's uncle's house. I had only hoped to get a glimpse of you before starting my journey north, but I was surprised to see a clone of my cousin and had to get a closer look. I think the sight of me alarmed you.
I am enclosing something else for you, Harry, which I think will make your next year at Hogwarts more enjoyable and another thing to better your summer.
If ever you need me, this includes Hermione, send word. Your owl will find me.
I'll write again soon.
Sirius
Harry looked through the envelope as Alexis read the P.S. aloud.
"Seeing that you don't have a pet anymore, I thought you would like to keep this owl, Alexis. I apologize accidentally naming him already but wasn't on purpose. He answers to Little Guy but he will respond to just Guy as well."
At the sound of his name, the fuzball sore into Alexis's shoulder and crash landed on her lap.
"I got a pet," she said smiling.
"I got a permission slip to Hogsmeade and my father's notepasser," said Harry, also smiling.
Hermione merely shook her head as the train finally reached London. Hand and hand, the three departed the train and entered Kings Cross together. They watched as their fellow classmates ran off with their parents before Hermione finally departed with two long hugs and a promise to write. When it was finally Harry's turn to leave with his uncle, Alexis gave him a long hug.
"Use the notepasser to talk if Hedwig has to stay locked up," she said still squeezing her best friend. "And make sure you tell them your godfather is an ex prisoner."
Harry laughed, "Will do. Bye, Hex."
"Bye, Harry."
With a finally wave, Alexis watched as her best friend disappeared in the crowd with the purple and round Vernon Dudley. And then she waited. And waited. And waited.
"Where the hell is Moody?" Alexis finally said aloud as she became the only Hogwarts student left.
It was about then that the crowd started moving as far to the side of the train platforms as they could. That's when Alexis spotted Moody with his wooden leg, missing nose, eye patch, and current scowl that caused the guard near her to gulp. Accompanying him was Mr. and Mrs. Weasley along with Nymphadora Tonks, Moody's apprentice Auror. Tonks, who Alexis had only met last summer, was jumping with excitement, her bubblegum pink hair flying everywhere as she ran to Alexis for a hug.
"Hey, Tonks!" said Alexis
"Wotcher, Hex," said Tonks finally releasing her friend. "You've grown a lot this school year."
Alexis was about to respond when Moody spoke.
"Have I taught either of you anything? Security questions, bloody hell," he grumbled.
"Sorry Madeye," said the two girls grinning equally large grins.
"What took you so long?"
"That was my fault dear," said Mrs. Weasley. "Mine and Alastor's. We were discussing-" Alexis caught Mrs. Weasley throw Moody a dangerous glare that Mr. Weasley smirked at "- you're summer break. Arthur and I, and the rest of the family of course, would very much like you to spend it with us."
Alexis looked towards Moody only for him to shrug.
"Don't look at me lass," he grumbled. "You make your own decisions."
Without warning Alexis ran up and hugged him. Moody being Moody went for his wand but Mrs. Weasley caught him with ease. He then slowly and very awkwardly patted Alexis on the back.
"Don't get too lonely, uncle," she teased. "I know Tonks has her finally exams at the end of the summer so don't kill her in training, okay?"
"No promises, lass," Moody grumbled. "Have fun," he added awkwardly before he and Tonks headed out.
"Ready, dear?" said Mrs. Weasley.
"Of course," said Alexis happily. "Thanks for letting me come over."
"You're welcome dear," said Mrs. Weasley cheerfully. "The Granger's said Hermione can stay over for the last month of the break and Harry, well, he'll be coming over for the break as well if I have anything to say about it."
"Great," smiled Alexis. Mr. and Mrs. Weasley smiled along with her as they reached their taxi.
"Oh, a warning, Alexis," said Mr. Weasley. "We recently got a new dog."
"Really?"
Mr. Weasley smiled widely.
"His name is Grim."
HURRAY! I did! I finished! Three books down, four to go! Thank you everyone for the support and reviews! For all of you still upset with Ron I'm sorry but I refuse to change that part of my plot. I mean, would you rather I had killed Hermione? (Don't answer that, don't even think I would kill the bookworm)
Summer at the Burrow, though! Twins, Grim, and Hex all under one roof, what fun! Oh and yes, there is a very high chance that the Weasleys know who Grim is. I'm not going to down right say it but there's a 107% chance that they do.
I know Alexis doesn't real seem to be as effected by Ron's death as one would expect but she can talk to him whenever she wants so it's a little easier on her.
I am soo excited about the next book because I'll be focusing a lot more on Alexis and less on the trials of Harry. They of course will still be in there but Alexis will definitely be the main character next book
Review Responses:
tikitay13: Me too! I've been planning this for a while so hopefully it all works according to plan!
caring16: I know but he had to die (set point in time #DoctorWho reference) And don't worry about Wormtail. Although his character could have his own story like Snape, I plan a very hateful life for him
aandm20: I'm glad you're looking forward for more!
Ingrid: And I f****** love you too! And you! And you! And everyone but apparently gingers because I always kill them!
jessica02: Why does anyone die in stories? Two reasons: 1 it causes unexpected reactions in the protagonist's life and 2 because the write was like 'huh, wonder what would happen if we killed him?' But honestly, I always thought when I read the book Ron would die then but I don't think Rowlings thought Harry was ready for that kind of trauma which is why she waited until his fifth year to kill Sirius *REALLY OLD SPOILER* Ron's death brought Alexis, Harry, and Hermione's friendship together more than ever now but it's not nearly as traumatizing because Alexis can always let them hear Ron. I hope that makes sense, if not I'll try an explain it better soon
ThatGirlThatNoOneNotices: So is Alexis and the gang but don't worry he's as gone as McPherson is
Whoa it's fandoms:
Two words:
Thank you.
In the good way
Guest: the comparison of the Marauders and the New Marauders are there for the reader to catch not for me to point out though I'm glad you got it ('cept Ron is dead and not pretending) and now Crookshanks didn't catch him... He still has to serve his purpose
HayleyGoth: so if I'm evil for killing Ron does that mean I can be and evil dark lord? If so, can my name be something like... Larry... OMG! Larry is perfect! Only Muggleborns would think its lame because Larry is such a weird name that no Pureblood would ever hear that name. Or Keith, I should be Keith the Evil Dark Lord. The name itself is an assault on the ears. Keith. Keith. Keith. I'm attacking you with my evil name. Keith. Keith. Keith. Mawahahaha! I am Keith! Bow before me wizards!... Yeah that just happened...
mwinter1: I'm sorry you're upset but here, have a chapter!
pheonixfelicis07: I let them grieve for you! Don't worry about the Marauders, they're still technically there just one is more in spirit than the rest. And a Ron running around in a puberty hit teenage girl will be fun to write, I have no doubt. As for the Black-McPherson-Potter-Swine relationship I will give you one hint and only one: Gryffindor. I know, that was evil and not much to go off of (Seamus: that's nothing to go off of) but I'm sure you'll figure it out. If not you'll have to read and wait for more hints
Anyways, done! If you have any questions, or just want to, review and I'll answer them on a spare chapter that I will post the same day I post the first chapter of the book. Remember the title is Alexis Lestrange and the TriWizard Champion!
