"So, you hit it off with Roxy, eh?" Riven asked Alex. The specialists were all sitting on the ground or on beds, except for Alex, who sat on the windowpane and looked out at the scenery. Alex turned to them.

"Roxy?"

"You two were talking a whole lot," Sky pointed out, chuckling. Alex waved his hand and giggled.

"Oh, please, Roxy and I are just friends."

"Sure doesn't seem like it," Brandon said. "You kn-"

"IT'S NOTHING!" Alex suddenly yelled, his face turning red. "Can't a boy and a girl talk without having to like each other?! Is this how men think?!"

His reaction was a surprised silence. Alex cleared his throat and calmed his voice. "I mean, I know how men think. Cause...I'm a man. I just didn't know we thought like that."

The silence continued before Riven spoke up. "Oh please, you're not a man."

Alex's eyes widened. "What?" his voice cracked.

"You're still a little kid to us, dude," Riven chuckled, and Alex relaxed, laughing as well.

"I need to go to the bathroom. I'll be right back," Alex stood up and walked out the door. As soon as the door closed, Timmy turned to the rest of the boys.

"Okay, he's suspicious."

"Very," Sky agreed.

"But the kid can't possibly be evil," Brandon stood up for Alex. "Don't you think we're being a little TOO paranoid?"

"Maybe it's just his personality," Helia was on Brandon's side. "We are being a little too tough on him."

Riven crossed his arms. "I don't know. The girls noticed it too. He's being really secretive. He's obviously hiding something."

"I can't find any files of him. It's like he doesn't even exist," Timmy scrolled through his phone. "It's denying me all access to his school records as well, no matter what I try."

"That's weird, usually you can hack your way into stuff," Riven leaned his back against the wall. "See? Obviously this kid isn't trustworthy."

Alex stood outside the door, gripping a piece of paper in his small tight fists. The paper crumpled under his angry grasp. His head was bowed, hair falling in front of his eyes. One could only see his scowling mouth before he looked up to glare at the door, loosening the grip on the paper.

They think I'm not trustworthy?! Alex mentally growled. HOW DARE THEY! To them, I should just be the new little boy. How have I made them suspicious already?!

Alex looked back down at the paper in his hands. "Don't worry," he whispered. "I will not be found out."

Then, Alex raised his chin and stuffed the paper in his pocket, opening the door confidently. "Hiya guys!"

Everyone jumped and turned to Alex, who just smirked, recognizing their paranoia.

"Hey Alex. Back already?" Helia asked kindly. Alex recognized his voice as being one of the boys that were less suspicious of him. Alex likes Helia.

"Yes. What did I miss?" Alex asked oh-so-innocently, turning on his charm.

"Ohhh, nothing!" Sky waved his hand dismissively. Alex flashed his adorable smile before looking out the window, in the direction of Alfea.

Faragonda's heel's echoes bounced off the walls as she walked through the hallway, chest puffed out, hands behind her back, with the whole 'confident headmaster' look. She looked fine on the outside, her eyes calmly peeking over her spectacles that rested on her nose. However, on the inside, her thoughts were swarming.

She had told the Winx to keep her updated on Alex's doings. Roxy told her about the strange conversation with the boy about princesses. Of course, Faragonda understood Alex's point, about princesses having to work so hard, but it seemed like such an odd thing to talk about. It was so not suspicious that...well...it was suspicious!

Maybe he's plotting against princesses, Faragonda thought before mentally scolding herself. Faragonda has grown wise in her years, and she should learn to not just judge someone with first impressions. She was disappointed in herself for jumping to conclusions so quickly. Especially such horrid conclusions as this one. However, the Winx Club is a very elite group of professors here at Alfea. She trusted their judgement. Also, she did find the boy running through the halls suspiciously. Not to mention he seemed VERY afraid of Faragonda for a moment, before acting all adorable and innocent.

He couldn't hide his fear quickly enough, however. Faragonda had seen it, and Faragonda is suspicious. Very suspicious indeed.

Stella glanced over at the balcony that Alex and Roxy were talking on. She seemed to be the only one in the group who didn't think adorable little Alex was evil. Even Flora was a little suspicious! How can anyone that adorable be evil? Stella thought to herself, sitting on top of the table cross-legged. Alex had been so sweet to Stella. Sure, he was a little prankster, and sure, he had caused the Specialists a few problems, but evil? It just couldn't be possible.

To be completely honest, it would break Stella's heart if the man was evil.

Stella giggled to herself. One could hardly call Alex a man. He was so tiny and cute and, well, not manly! Not manly at all! It cracked her up just thinking about anyone calling her sweet little Alex "a man".
