Wow, thanks for all the reviews guys!

"That was crazy!" Sky gasped as he and the Specialists ran down the stairs, avoiding chaotic Red Fountain students.

"I knew there was something off about that kid!" Riven said.

"What about that Devil whatever place?" Brandon asked. "What did that all mean?"

"Wait, I recognized the name Alex said. Dévildania. The Headmaster and I were discussing how the Diamond of Jjuvios originated from there!" Timmy explained.

"He thought Stella would be there! The rest of the girls must be there!" Sky concluded.

"We got to get to the Headmaster and get to Dévildania!" Helios said. "We can catch up with the rest of the girls and help out!"

"Let's go!" Sky cheered.

"You're the guy that was with Alex in the cafe!" Musa gasped, pointing at the old man in a tuxedo.

"I knew we were being watched!" Alex said from his spot on the ground.

"My name is Sebastian," the man bowed politely. "And I'm afraid I cannot let you lay a finger on...Alex." The man looked over his shoulder nervously as Alex doubled over into another coughing fit. "Are you alright, Y-"

"YES!" Alex interrupted before Sebastian could give away any unwanted information. "I'm perfectly fi-" he hacked, blood splattering from his mouth to the ground.

Stella's eyes widened, and she took a step back. "A-Alex!"

"It's fine, everything is fine," Alex whipped his chin on his sleeve. "I do not need your help, Sebastian."

"It's quite obvious that you do," Sebastian couldn't resist a small smirk. "You should have told me it was getting this bad."

"What's getting this bad?!" Stella demanded, stepping between the Winx and Sebastian. She stared at Alex with only worry in her eyes. "Are you alright? Why are you coughing up blood? Why did you steal the Diamond from Red Fountain, Alex?"

Alex's lips tightened into a line as he stared up at Stella with stubborn silence.

"Now, if you won't leave Alex alone-" Sebastian started.

"Sebastian, do not interfere! That's an order!" Alex snapped.

Sebastian tensed up. "I highly recommend-"

"Sebastian!"

The old man looked between Alex and the Winx, looking defeated and hopeless. "Yes, Your-"

"AHEM!"

"Alex."

"Well, you can't give me orders! I demand to know what's going on here!" Stella yelled.

"You could be quieter," Alex moaned, putting a hand on the tree for support as he shakily lifted himself onto his feet. "My eardrums feel like they're going to explode."

"Alex!"

"Ohhhhh shut up! I'm not in the mood for this," Alex motioned to the Winx, "Or thiiiissss," he motioned to Sebastian, "I just want to get home without having to bend over backwards for a change!"

Stella was taken aback by the strange change in character. "Home?"

"Yeah, home! Where I live," Alex spat with irritation. Clearly something was getting on the boy's nerves and Stella had a feeling it was much more than the Winx.

"And where would that be?" Flora asked. "Dévildania, where you were taking the diamond?"

"If I told ya-" Alex pushed himself off of the tree and sauntered towards the girls. "Then I'd have to kill ya."

"Not if we do it first!" Musa threatened, but Stella held out her arm to stop her. "What are you planning, Alex?!" Musa demanded from behind her friend.

"None of your business!" Alex snapped, getting right into Stella's face, leaning onto his tip toes to reach it. "You heard what I said, Stella, about evil and good not having definitive boundaries. Keep that in mind," he hissed, turning away and groaning. "The bike is wrecked!"

"I can take you back home. Your mother waits," Sebastian offered, bowing to the boy. Alex tensed.

"Mother? Is she alright?" he asked worriedly, confusing the Winx even more.

"Nothing has changed."

Alex ground his teeth together, looking over his shoulder at the Winx. "Are you going to try and stop me?"

Stella looked back at Musa and Flora before turning back to him and nodding. "We have to."

"Then you leave me no choice," Alex sighed, holding out his hands, palms open to the sky. "I haven't done this in a while."

"You can't!" Sebastian objected, lunging for him. Alex's head sharply turned to the old man, glaring.

"YOU CAN'T STOP ME!"

Stella gasped as the ground began to tremble. "Get close, girls!" she warned, and Musa and Flora clung to both her arms. Alex closed his eyes as a red shield rose from the ground, surrounding the three Winx girls.

"Alex, NO!" Sebastian yelled as soon as the shield closed around them and Alex fell to his hands and knees.

"What?!" Stella wriggled out of the girls' grasps and pounded at the shield with her fists. "Is this...magic?!"

Alex gasped for breath on the ground, curling up into a ball. "They'll be able...to escape...we need...to...to..." he fell into another coughing fit, his body thrashing on the ground.

"You idiot, you stupid, stupid idiot!" Sebastian cried out as he knelt down beside the boy and picked him up. Stella gasped and took a step back as the boy suddenly looked so small and helpless in the old man's arms. Alex's eyes fluttered shut as he curled into Sebastian's grasp, resting his head on the man's chest and sighing. Blood now stained the collar of his shirt. Sebastian hugged him, bowing his head before turning and running into the forest.

"We need to get out!" Flora said, pulling at Stella's attention.

"Was that magic?!" Stella spun to her friend.

"Who cares? The faster we escape, the faster we can get out of here!" Musa said. "We all need to attack the shield at once!"

"That was way too much magic in one use in your condition!" Sebastian scolded as he ran towards a black limo. He swung the door open, holding Alex up with one arm, before lying him down onto the leather seats.

"Neither one of us would have been able to escape without using magic," Alex whispered weakly before coughing once more. Sebastian sighed.

"Your mother will not be happy. Neither will the witches."

"Then they've better figured out the Diamond of Jjuvios," Alex hissed, glaring up at Sebastian. "Let's get going, before they break fre-" he was cut off by a violent coughing fit. Sebastian looked at the child with sadness before closing the door and slipping into the driver's seat.

"Icy, Stormy, I suggest you do not try my patience!" Faragonda snapped, stepping in front of the Winx. "I want to know what you plan to do with Dévildania!"

"Let's just say we were helping out some friends, old lady," Icy sneered. "I thought you liked being helpful."

"And why do you need the Diamond of Jjuvios? And where is Darcy?" Bloom asked.

"All very good questions," Stormy rolled her eyes. "But we don't have time for this."

"You don't even know how to use its magic, so why are you even bothering?" Faragonda taunted calmly.

"Oh what, and you do know?" Icy chuckled.

"As a matter of fact," Faragonda crossed her arms. "I do."

Icy and Stormy quit their jittering and turned to each other with surprise. Faragonda smiled with the knowledge that she had gotten through to them. "Oh, suddenly quiet, are we?"

"How about we make a deal?" Icy turned back to the Winx with an icy (no pun intended) grin.

Things are starting to get weird for the Winx! Please review if you enjoyed it and you want me to keep writing! I'd really appreciate it.
