Getting to Know her

When Dean came back he had found Sam still doing some research and Lexi was nowhere in sight.

"Uh, Sammy. Where's Lexi?" Dean was asking him when he was sounding worried.

"Oh she is trying to see what she can come up with to make dinner." Sam was telling Dean.

"OH hey guys. You should see the kitchen. It was stocked up with all kinds of food. I cant believe it's still good." Lexi said as she was talking so fast that Dean had to stop her.

"Whooooo there, slow slow." He said to her when he was trying to slow her talking down.

"Sorry. Lots of can food. I mean who knows how long this place was last occupied." She said telling her brothers.

"Lexi . How bout me and Sammy get some pizza and you girls, set the table." Dean suggested when he was leaving with Sam.

"Ok that was awkward." Charlie said when both girls chuckled.

"So-." Lexi was saying when she was getting some napkins.

The room was very quiet. Charlie was looking around. Lexi knew she had to get along with her since she might be staying.

"So did you ever date my brothers?" Lexi was asking her.

"Me? Oh no. Just good friends. Helped them out a few times." She said when she was telling Lexi.

"Oh so you're a hunter?" Lexi asked her.

"No. I'm more of a Computer Technologist." Charlie was saying when Lexi shook her head.

"So you're a computer geek like Sammy? Its ok. " Lexi said to her when they both laughed.

"You know I never knew they had a sister." Charlie was saying.

"Yeah I kind a was hiding out. My dad was trying to keep me safe. What good that did." Lexi mumbled when she was setting the table.

"What do you mean by that?" She stood there asking Lexi.

Lexi stopped and gave her a sad look.

"Well, to make a long story short. Where I was hiding, they raped me." She told Charlie when Charlie felt bad.

"I'm sorry." Charlie said to Lexi when she sat down slowly hear what she was just told.

"Look it was a long time ago. You will see Dean being very over protected with me. Oh did you know we even had a half-brother." Lexi said sounding excited but still looking sad since she was trying to change the subject.

"Half –brother? WOW." Charlie asked sounding confused.

"Yeah we had but he died on a hunt." Lexi said as tears filled her eyes.

"How did he die?" She was asking Lexi softly.

"Saving me." Lexi said when a tear rolled down her face.

"Hey I'm sorry. (Charlie places a hand on Lexi's arm since she was feeling sad for her.)SO lets talk about something else." Suggested Charlie when Lexi quickly wiped her eyes.

"Its ok. Well you heard we lost Bobby as well." Lexi told Charlie when she was shocked to learn that.

"WOW. A lot has happened since the last time I saw them." Charlie said sounding sadly.

"Bobby we just lost. Have no clue how. Its funny. We were working on what killed him and next minute were here." Lexi told Charlie when she was puzzled.

"Your brothers had to have a reason." She told her when she was taking a seat.

With that Dean and Sam were coming back with three Pizza pies and some beer.

"Is this a party?" Charlie was asking Dean when she saw him carrying in the beer.

"No. We need to drink." He said to her with a smile.

"So it had to be beer?" Lexi asked her brother jokingly.

"Yes BUT you get soda." Dean said to her with grin on his face.

"Nice guy." Lexi said getting a slice of pizza. "But see what I mean." As she whispered to Charlie.

"So what did you do while we were out?" Sam was asking the girls.

"Was getting to know her." Lexi said to her brother.

"Really on each other." Charlie was saying when Dean and Sam were wondering what was said.

"So Charlie how long are you here for?" Sam was then asking her.

"Maybe a few days." She said when she was taking a sip of her beer.

After dinner, they were sitting in the den. They were sitting around talking. Lexi was sitting next to Sam.

"Hey you know she fell asleep." Charlie was telling Sam.

"Let me take her into her room." Dean said when he scooped her up in a bridal-style and carried her into her room.

Charlie and Sam were talking until Dean came back.

"Sleep still?" Sam was asking his brother.

"Yeah. She never woke up. " Dean said when he was sitting down on the chair.

"She's so tired." Sam was saying.

"So Lexi told me all that you have dealt with, from her being rape down to Bobby's dead." Charlie said when sounded surprised about it all.

"Yeah well. Luckily I wasn't there where she was cause I would of went-." Dean was saying when he was getting angry.

"Our dad took care of them." Sam said to her when he was filling her in.

"I'm sorry." She told Dean and Sam.

"Well its late we all should hit the sack." Dean suggested when they were all heading into their rooms.

Dean had to one more time check on Lexi.

"You know she is not five." Sam was telling his brother when he came up from behind him.

"I know. I cant help it." Dean said when he was going into his room.
