Chap 65 Flickering
Cass was still standing there, when they were back inside.
"Cass, oh man we forgot you." Sam said to him when they realized he was still standing there.
"So why are you here anyway?" Lexi was then asking Cass when she was standing by Sam.
"So far all I was able to find out that a Demon came looking for Alexandrea but instead found Bobby." Cass was telling them which made Lexi feel bad.
"Great, so he died then for me." She said softly sitting down slowly on the chair.
"Look you know he would of died for you, no matter what." Sam said to her trying to make her understand.
"That goes for Sam and I. Heck I would die for either one of you." Dean said to her which made not happy. She gave her brother a look and shook her head.
"Don't even say that." She told her brother sitting back almost sulking.
"Look sista, whether you like it or not I would die for you." Dean told her which made her mad.
"Dean- please stop saying that. I don't want you both dying for me." She angrily told her brothers while heading to her room.
Dean and Sam watched their sister run to her room. Dean was going to follow her until Sam stopped his brother.
"Dean, leave her. She has a lot to take in. Let it sink into her." Sam was telling his brother.
They were then heading to the basement to explore some more of the Bunker. Lexi was in her room. She was not happy what she had learned.
"I don't want any more people dying for me." She was saying out loud when she was really mad.
She was listening to her music while lying on her bed. While lying there her radio kept going on and off. She looked over to her stereo with a confused look. With that the lights in her room were flickering. She was then getting off the bed and was going to check throughout the house, but she noticed her door was locked. She could not open it from her side.
"Oh great." She said trying to open the door again, but the door would not open.
She started to knock on her door to see if her brothers would hear her.
"Guys! I'm locked in. Guys!" She started hollering out to her brothers, but again no one answered her.
Meantime Dean and Sam were down stairs when they too noticed the lights were flickering.
"I guess the wiring is no good." Sam suggested to his brother while looking up to the ceiling.
"Yeah I guess so." Dean agreed with his brother.
Dean gave his brother worried look then both said their sisters name "Lexi!"
They tried to run up stairs but the door was closed and it was also locked. Dean was looking all over to see what he can use to open the door.
"Crap!" Dean said when he took his hand and rubbed it over his face.
"Ok. Lets hope she is ok." Sam was saying when he was trying to calm his brother down.
Dean was looking around for anything he could use to open the door, while Sam was trying to pick the lock.
"Didya get it yet?" He stood there asking his brother.
"No. I'm trying." Sam said to him.
Dean was then trying Lexi's cell. " Hey this Lexi, leave a message." Her voice mail said when Dean closed the cell phone shut.
"I guess nothing?" Sam asked when he looked up towards his brother.
"Yeah nothing." Dean said when he was worried about her.
Sam kept trying until he finally was able to unlock the door. When he did they ran upstairs to find Lexi.
"Lexi!" Dean called out to his sister.
Lexi heard her brother calling her name out
"DEAN!" She yelled out for him, which made him run faster to her.
Dean and Sam were by the bedrooms.
"Dean! Sam! Is that you?" She asked hearing footsteps coming down the hall.
"Yeah, its us." Sam told her which made her feel better.
"The door wont open." She told them when the lights were flickering again.
"Ok. Lex, relax." Sam said calmly to her.
Sam again was trying the door knob but it wouldn't budge. He gave Dean a worried look.
"Now what?" He asked Sam standing by his brother.
"Lexi, listen to me. Move away from the door." Dean said when he and Sam were going to try to bust the door down.
Lexi was then moving out-of-the-way in hoping that her brothers are able to get the door open.
They were still trying to get it open. With that the lights went out.
"Crap." Sam said when he was now in the dark. He was then looking in his jacket for his flashlight.
"Lexi you ok?" Dean asked her seeing if she was ok.
"Yeah. I have no electric." She told her brother.
"Yeah, we are working on it." Sam said to her. Sam then took his flashlight out.
After a few minutes had gone by, Dean and Sam had tried picking the lock, kicking the door but nothing.
"You ok Lex?" Dean asked her when he was just checking on her.
"Yeah." She told her brothers sounding scared.
Dean then took his gun out and was going to shoot the lock off. Sam put his hand out to stop his brother.
"You cant shoot the lock off." Sam said to his brother shaking his head.
"Why not?" Dean asked his Sam with a look.
"Cause one of us CAN get hurt." Sam told him shaking his head.
Sam was going to try and pick it again. With that he was able to open it. Lexi was relieved. Sam put his hand out to her for her to take it. He then took her into a quick hug.
"What's going on?" She asked her brother since she was wondering.
"No clue." Sam said to her, guiding her back to the library.
