Chap 72 The Case
They were then onto a new case. They were heading to South Dakota. Strange things were happening there.
People and animals were disappearing The local Police couldn't even solve this. When they showed up at the Police Dept they were getting their FBI Badges ready.
"Say we hear people and animals are disappearing, what leads do you have?" Dean stood at the counter asking a young Police Officer.
"And who may you might be?" The young man asked Dean when he gave him a puzzled look.
Dean and Sam flashed their FBI Badges. The Officer saw Lexi and was wondering who she was.
"And the cutie?" He asked with a smile.
Dean was holding back from knocking this Officer out but he knew he had to play it cool.
"She is our intern. " Dean said giving him a fake smiling while talking through his teeth. He just wanted to slug this guy once for talking about his sister like that.
"Mmmm. You both are lucky to have such beauty learning beside you both." The Officer said flirting with Lexi.
"Look, you need to-." Dean said when Sam placed his hand across Dean's chest to stop him. Sam cut him off quickly since he knew where this would go.
"We need to see whatever you have on these disappearing's?" Sam was asking when he gave his brother and the Officer a smile.
"Yeah sure." The Officer was saying when he was typing the information his computer.
Lexi was coming forward trying to see what she can do to help her brothers out. When the Officer looked up he saw Lexi standing in front of him, with a smile.
"You have the most prettiest smile." He told her when she could see from the corner of her eye how mad Dean was.
She also knew what he was capable of doing if and when he gets really mad.
"Uhhh, here. Not much." The Officer was saying when he printed some information for what he thought was the "real" FBI.
"Thank you." Sam said taking the papers from him and leaving in a hurry.
Dean put his hand on Lexi's back as he was guiding her out of the Police Station. While they were outside, the Officer ran after them.
"Hey excuse me." He called. When they thought they were busted for being fakes.
Sam turned around slowly to the Officer and smiled.
"Miss can I have your number? Maybe we can grab lunch?" He asked her with a big smile.
"Sorry, I have a lunch date with someone already. Sorry." She said to him without trying to laugh.
"Oh. Oh ok. We'll have a great day then." He told her sounding sad since she turned him down.
When her brothers saw it was clear, they were wondering who she was having lunch with.
"So you are you having lunch with?" Sam asked when he was wondering.
"Do we know him?" Dean was asking her in a fatherly tone.
She stood there in a thought and smiled.
"Yeah. He drives an awesome car. BUT its kind of hard to pick who's better since there's two guys." She said while they walking towards the Impala.
"TWO!" Dean said excitedly to his sister, giving Sam a worried look.
She started to chuckle over Dean's reaction.
"Well as long as him-they make you happy." Sam told her when he was making her slid up front next to them.
They were heading to the diner. Her brothers were still trying to see who these boys were and where she met them. When they arrived at the diner they were getting out of the car.
"So where did you meet these boys?" Sam asked her giving Dean a look.
Lexi stood there in smiles. She was thinking the first time she met these guys.
"Are you meeting them here?" Dean was then asking her curiously.
"Just be careful around these boys." Sam told her in a protective brotherly way.
"When I am around these "boys" I always am." She said when she quoted the word boys.
"Mmmm. Yeah well I wanna meet this so call boy." Dean said looking around for someone around his sister's age.
"GUYS!" She said sounding like a five year old whining.
"What?" Sam asked when he didn't know what was wrong.
"My date is with my two awesome cute brothers." Lexi said with a big smile.
Sam shook his head when he started blushing.
"Us?" Dean said sounding confused.
"Yeah you two knuckleheads." She told him sarcastically but then smiled while she blushed herself.
"But I am the better looking brother,right?" Dean stood there asking.
Sam and Lexi were then walking inside to the diner. Dean was running to catch up. They were taking a booth. Lexi was sitting next to Sam.
"Hello what can I get you guys?" The waitress was asking them.
"A burger with fries, coke oh and pie please." Dean said to her giving her a flirty smile.
"I'll have a chicken salad and water please." Sam said when he gave her his order.
"Miss for you?" The Waitress was asking Lexi.
"A burger with a Dr Pepper please." She said when she too gave her order.
"Ok. I will be back with your drinks." She said when she turned and walked away.
"But why did you tell that Officer you had a lunch date then?" Sam asked his sister.
She looked away shy from her brothers, before looking back at them.
"I knew Dean was getting annoyed and um—" She was saying when she couldn't finish telling them.
"Yeah well I would of decked him." Dean was saying.
"I know you would of. " She told him when she smiled.
"We would do whatever it takes to keep you safe." Sam was telling her.
"I know. Thanks." She told her brothers, leaning her head onto Sam's shoulder.
Sam then placed his arm around his sister when she was wrapping her hands around his arm..
