So here is the next chapter. Thank you guys SO much for all the reviews, I'll post more often now and I'll try to keep the chapters to 2000 words minimum, or do you guys think that is to little?
I got a few questions (Yey) so I just wanted to answer them
1. This will be a long fanfic, I'm not sure how many chapters, but alot and then I'll probably do a sequal.
2. I'm not sure how many reviews I want until I post new chapters, but like I got on the last one is amazing, I wanted to post this one the next day, but I don't want to post chapters to close to each other. But just continue to review and you'll see more of the story ;)
3. About my spelling and grammer, I know that I'm bad at it but English is my second language and I'm pretty lazy sometimes so I don't notice my mistakes when I write, first when I already posted the chapter I notice it. But I'll try and fix that :)
4. Toby will be back soon...very soon
5. Toby will meet the other girls and I'm not sure how if Toby and Ezra will become good friends, I mean after all Mr. Fitz is their teacher and even if Toby's 22 in this story he's still around 6 years younger or so, but tell me if you guys want Ezra and Toby to become friends.
You'll have to wait for about three or four weeks for the next chapter because I'm going away and won't be able to post anything else but I have the next chapter already done so as soon as I get back I'll update. I might be able to post something during those four weeks so if you guys are nice and review, and follow, and favorite and share and everything I might post earlier... ;)
The first few day Spencer and Toby talked a little, they texted as well but after a few days it just stopped. They didn't call or text, but weirdly enough, it didn't feel like they had 'broken up' they just didn't talk, sometimes they would send good night text or so. They were both acctive on each others Instagram accounts, something that seemed so childish but still. Spencer noticed that everytime Toby posted a picture of him and a girl even if they were with other people, she found herself becoming jealous.
She of course, did the even more childish thing and posted pictures of herself with friends all the time, hoping that Toby would become jealous when he saw the pictures of her and the guy she took a picture with.
She had talked to her friends about Toby, and man, how they had wanted to know everything, even Emily who always let people have their own personal life, asked a thousand question.
Spencer didn't know what to answer, she didn't really want to because if she and Toby didn't work out like she hoped to, if he didn't want to see her again in a romantic way then it would be too embarrassing and she would've made a fool out of herself infront of her friends, that's also why she would always brush it of when her friends or family would ask if she'd heard from Toby. After about a month they didn't ask so many questions, they had seemed to forget about it.
Spencer walked into her school. She was pretty tired of the blue/greyish color on the walls, it was always so depressing. She walked to her locker to get her English book had them reading. Emily had her locker only a few lockers away from Spencer's so she wasn't suprised when she saw Emily and Hanna walking next to each other. Hanna's mother was away for a month with her boyfriend, pastor Ted, and Ashley didn't want to leave her daughter alone for that long so every weekday she stayed with Emily, and every weekend she had the house to herself, even if she was never alone, either the girls would hang there or Caleb.
"Hey Spence" Her blonde friend happily said as she walked over to Spencer.
"Hey Hanna. Hi Em" Spencer replied and gave both of her friends a smile "Where's Aria?" "I think she's in the libary, she forgot that she had a french test tomorrow, she'll probably be studying every free second until then" Emily replied and opened her locker
"Kind of like you" Hanna piped in making Emily giggle and Spencer frown "Not true" "So true, Spencer you study more then I talk about Caleb"
Spencer didn't have a chance to reply until she saw her tall, dark haired friend walk towards them "Speaking of the devil"
Hanna turned around to she what Spencer was talking about and her face lit up "Caleb, hi" Hanna explaimed and walked the few steps keeping them apart before hugging her boyfriend.
"Hey girls, mind if I steal Hanna for a second?" He asked. Caleb might look like he was a bad-ass guy that didn't go out with girls, only fucked them. And that he didn't give a shit about anyone exept himself, but Caleb was the exact oppisite.
"Not at all, we have bio in five anyways" Emily replied and Caleb took Hanna with him leaving the two girls alone. Hanna waved at them before giving Caleb her entire attention.
"I have swim practice today after school but do you want to meet up after and take a coffée at the Brew? Just the two of us, it feels like it was forever just the two of us hung out" Emily said when they walked next to each other to their class
"Yeah, I'd love to. I have to study today anyways so I'll just do that before then" "Good"
After school Spencer went to the libary to study. Emily told her that she'd text her when her swim practice was over.
Spencer was nearly ever in the libary, she didn't see any point, she had all the books she needed plus more at home anyways and since her parents were almost never home and when they were they would just work, her home was just as quiet as a libary, except in the libary she'd have to see all the football jerks trying to study but just end up talking or bump into the bookshelf with their shoulders because they went next to each other instead of after.
The libary in school looked like a typical Hollywood-movie libary, with pale grey walls and wooden bookshelfs filled with dusty books noone read. They had two librarians which was just a waste of money from the school, they said it was because the libary was so big but even if it was, it was usually only about 20 people in there, and half of them wasn't even there to read or study. Either it was because they tried to but didn't seem to have enough brain cells to pick up a book in Spencer's opinion, or it was because they wanted to hook up with someone like they do in movies, so those people who did that didn't have any brain cells as well.
She didn't have so much to study, just an essay for History on world war 2, It wasn't due for about 2 weeks but she just wanted it done as soon as possible.
Emily called her after only an one and a half hour, telling her that she was on her way over to the libary. So Spencer finshed her last sentences she had in her head before packing up and leaving the libary, only walking by one pair of braincells-less people while they were exploring each others tongues.
"Hey Em" Spencer said when she saw her friend outside the libary "Hey, ready to go?" "Yeah" They walked out of the school and out to the parking lot
"I don't have my car with me, my mom gave me a ride this morning" Emily said while they were walking clearly to Spencer's car "That's fine, we'll just take my car and I'll drive you to your house after"
When they sat down in the car, the first thing Emily did was to plug in her phone to Spencer's phone and play their favorite music, something all the girls always did, no matter who's car they were in, the one sitting shotgun got to choose the music.
They got to the brew in less then 10 minutes and parked the car a few streets away and then walked side by side until they got in.
"Have you noticed how weird Hanna have been acting lately? I mean when I asked her if she wanted to have a sleepover this weekend she said she couldn't, because she was going to study." Emily said while looking at the big board of different coffees
"Well, it is our last year, and most students starts to study alot their last year, I don't think it's weird, I think it's human" Spencer already knew what she wanted so she just looked at Emily
"Yeah, I know but still, it's just so-" But she was cut of by Spencer who let out a little yelp. Someone stood behind her and covered her eyes and whispered "Guess who" Softly in her ear.
Spencer knew that voice but she didn't know from where "Ehm, Hanna? no Jason? no ehm...Andrew?" But the person still didn't let go of her "Okay, I don't know, just tell me before I lose my temper and kick you in the ribs" The person started to laugh and Spencer immediately knew who it was she gasped and before she could turn around the person gave her a quick peck on the lips
"Toby!" She explaimed, she turned around and threw her arms around him and his arms circled her waist, holding her to him "When did you get here? I totally forgot to ask which day you'd come, how'd you know where I was, oh my God I can't believe you're here!" Toby just laughed and kissed her temple.
All Spencer's worries about Toby not wanting to see her anymore in Rosewood disappeared in a second. I f he didn't want to see her anymore he wouldn't have kissed her.
"I wanted it to be a suprise, I came here two days ago, I wanted to get the most stuff ready, fix my appartment and everything, I didn't know you'd be here, I was just on my way to drive my father to the airport, he and his wife helped me pack up, and I saw you so I told them to wait in the car. I live here above the brew" They pulled away and Spencer just smiled
"But I thought you said you didn't have a car?" Spencer asked, making Toby laugh "The first time you see me in over a month and the thing you react to is that I suddenly have a car, but no, I don't. My buddy from work let me use his so I could drive my parents" Spencer nodded, still smiling and then shook her head before hugging him again "I still can't believe you're here" "Well I am" When they pulled away Toby saw Emily stand awkwardly next to them
"You're Emily? Right?" He asked and she nodded "Hey, I'm Toby. Spencer told me alot about you" He said and shook her hand "Hi" Emily replied, always shy with new people
"Well I gotta go, my parents are waiting for me, but how about we go out sometime this week? Catch up, and you can show me Rosewood" Toby asked and Spencer nodded, "yeah just text me when you're free" "Will do, see you later" He leaned in for a quick kiss and Spencer couldn't help but smile and just stare at him
"It was nice to meet you Emily, I hope we'll see each other soon again" Emily nodded and Toby left the café. Once he was out Spencer and Emily turned to each other before smiling like two idiots
"Oh my god, he is so cute! Even cuter then he was in the pictures you showed us" Emily said and Spencer nodded "I know, god, he's even cuter then I remember as well. I can't believe that he's really here"
They ordered their coffeé and sat down in the couch in the back like they almost always did.
"What are you going to do on your date then? I mean you have to show him Rosewood and repay for the dates in New York" Emily said and sipped on her mocha
"God, I havn't even thought about that. What is there to do? Take him to The Grille? There is nothing to do here. Oh god he's gonna think I'm so boring!" "Spencer, relax. I'll help you come up with something."
Emily tried to start another conversation, seeing how stressed Spencer looked, but Spencer couldn't concentrate. She had to come up with the best date Toby could ever have.
"Spencer, are you even listening?" Spencer shook her head up ans stared at Emily "Hm?" "Eh, never mind. Are you ready to go?" "Ooh, yeah. C'mon let's go"
They stood up and walked out of The Brew
That night when Spencer had just gotten out of the shower when her started buzzing
"Hey"
"Hello beautiful"
"Hi.."
"You know, I can practically hear you blush"
"Oh, shut up"
"Okay, well then I an't ask you to a date"
"Well in that case I'll just have to ask. Toby Cavanaugh, will you go out on a date with me?"
"I thought you's never ask"
Spencer giggled and sat down on her bed
"When?"
"When works for you?"
"Tomorrow?"
"I have to pack up the appartment"
"Okay, well I'm babysitting Thursday and Friday and I promised Aria to help her find an outfit for some dinner. But Sunday should work" Spencer tried not to sound disapointed that she'd have to wait so long until she could see him
She had to wait a few seconds until Toby answered
"You know what? Let's say tomorrow instead. I don't want to wait until Sunday when all I've seen you for over a month is three minutes"
"You sure?"
"Yeah, I can always unpack some other day, and since you're the only one I know here and you're busy Thursday to Saturday, I won't do anything after work those days anyways" Spencer bit her lip and tried to hold back a smile
"Okay, I was thinking we could take something to eat from The Grille and then I'll show you the best places here"
"Will you show me the kissing rock?"
"Maybe, if you're nice"
"Then I'll be on my best behavior"
"See you tomorrow"
"Sleep tight beautiful"
"You too"
Spencer stared at her phone for over five minutes just smiling like a fool at it before texting the girls
'Got a date with Toby tomorrow xx'
