Chap 83 The Home of Jack
They then arrived at Jack's home. Dean was knocking on the door when a man in his twenty's answered the door.
"Can I help you?" He asked them.
"We knew Jack and we wanted to come and pay our respects." Sam said when he spoke up.
"Come in." The young man said to them.
"I'm Dean. This here is my brother Sam and our sister Lexi." Dean said when he shook the man's hand.
"Mike. Nice to meet you guys. Jack was my dad." Mike said to them.
He was making them come inside to the living room.
"This is Bob. He was with my dad during the hunt." Mike was saying.
"Bob." Bob said introducing himself.
"Dean Winchester. This is my brother and sister, Sam and Lexi. Our dad knew Jack." Dean was saying.
Lexi was sitting in the middle of her brothers on the couch. Mike kept looking at Lexi.
"So your daddy knew Jack? Just who was your dad?" Bob asked Dean.
"John Winchester Sir." Dean said with a smile. He was proud of his father.
"John Winchester. Where is that sucker?" Bob was then asking Dean.
"He died a while back." Sam was then saying when Lexi was trying not to tear up when she hears them talking about her father.
"Sorry to hear that." Bob told John's kids.
"So what was Jack hunting when he was killed?" Sam was then asking while wondering.
"Vampires. " Mike said when he was coming with some beer bottles.
"Thanks." Dean and Sam both said in unison.
"What can I get you?" Mike was asking Lexi when he was flirting with her. But Lexi shook her head no. She was fine for now.
Her brothers saw the flirtation Mike was giving to Lexi. Dean was biting his lip. He didn't want to say anything just yet. Sam was not happy either while Lexi was uncomfortable.
"Well Jack and I were hunting Vampires and I guess it snuck up on him and he was dead." Bob was then telling them what had happened.
"You wanna take a walk while the adults are talking about Vamps?" Mike was asking Lexi.
"Um- nah thanks. I think I will stay and listen." She was then telling him.
"Are ya sure? It can be boring." Mike said to her when she was moving closer to Sam.
"Nah I'm good thanks." She told him.
Bob was telling then the hunting stories of when there dad use to hunt with them.
"You know he would talk about you." Bob said to Lexi with a smile.
"Me." She said shockingly.
"Yeah. Your daddy was proud to have a little girl. Then one day he stopped talking boutcha. I asked if there was a problem and that's when he told me he had you staying with another hunter. I told your father to get you out." Bob was saying when Lexi grabbed Dean's shirt.
"What do you mean?" Sam was asking him.
"These hunters were trouble hunters." He was telling them.
Lexi was looking away when she was trying to stop tears from coming down. Dean was so mad that his dad would put her in any danger.
"Dad must of knew something, cause he got her out of there." Dean said to him.
"Good. How's Bobby Singer?" Bob asked them.
"He past away not too long ago. A demon got him." Sam said.
"Oh wow." Bob said when he heard the news about John and Bobby Singer.
Bob saw the look on Lexi's face when they spoke about where she was years ago.
"Boys lets me ask you this. There was a major problem at the house where your sister stood at uh?" Bob asked Dean and Sam.
"What do you mean?" Dean sat there asking him.
"C'mon were adults here. Something happened over there, that's why your daddy got her?" Bob asked again.
Dean gave his sister a look as in its ok. Dean looked back at Bob.
"Lexi come with me outside for a minute." Sam said to sister when he was guiding her out.
Dean waited for them to leave.
"Look, I don't know how much you know. I really don't know you much but we are talking about my sister. Our sister. It's a very touchy subject for her to have to relive that night mare." Dean was telling Bob, while Mike was listening.
"Dean I am sorry." Bob was telling him.
"They raped her every day and beat her. Please. But you know my dad. He took care of that pig." Dean said when he was then getting up to head out by Sam and Lexi.
"Dean really. I am sorry. I didn't know it went that far." Bob was telling him.
"Thanks. " Dean said heading outside.
When Dean was going outside, he saw Lexi in Sam's arms. He knew she was upset. Before Dean can say anything, she ran over to him. He held her in his arms. He could feel her crying. He gave her a kiss on her head. Sam stood down by the car feeling bad for his sister.
"Hey listen to me, Sammy and I are always with you no matter what. " He told her when he moved her face away from his chest.
"Thank you." She told her brother when Dean was walking with her down by the car.
"Sit up front with us." Sam told his sister when she looked up at him and smiled.
"Love you both." She told her brothers before getting into the car.
"Love you too." Sam said to her.
"I know you do." Dean told her as he smiled at her.
Lexi always felt safe whenever she was with her brothers.
