Raph came home in a daze. He could still hear the echo of her beating heart and hastened breath, his skin still tingled from her touches, far from hesitating, and still could smell her scent. Eventually he stopped to fight with himself and childishly went to bed without washing.
During the morning session he still feel an euphoria and earned a praise from Master Splinter, two curious glances from his younger brothers and one suspicious stare from the oldest. But even that could not put him in a bad mood.
Afternoon he defeated Mikey in Halo, he did not come across Leo and got just slightly nervous by seeing Donnie still searching for the sudden strange Foot expeditions.
In the evening on their patrol they met a group of Purple Dragons. The day could not end any better.
Leonardo led them back to home unusually through the peaceful part of Manhattan. The roofs of mostly luxury villas were impractically sloped, so they were often forced to sneak in the shadows of the walls. Such exercises usually provoked barking dog and alarms.
After silent consultation with Donatello, Leo signaled to stop just in front of one particularly opulent house, which was obviously inhabited by either a fanatical lover of history or a complete lunatic. The house was by far the largest and most decorated in the area. There were disgusting gargoyles around the roof and cracked statues instead of trees were planted in the garden.
Before Raph could show his impatience, the well-known figures in dark uniforms began to emerge from the windows of that scary house.
Leo signaled "wait" and Raph surprisingly obeyed.
Once last black body came out, four turtle fighters attacked. Foot thieves started to flee, not even pretending to fight back, but their escape was cut by Mikey and Donnie. Not even verbal fight could start, when whole luxury district was deafened by a massive explosion.
Turtles were enough away they managed to dodge. Not everyone of the Foot soldiers was so lucky. There was no time for the exploration though, the escape of four green figures was covered by howling of sirens. In the garden, next to the pieces of white statues, were laying dark bodies in a similar states.
Behind just closed security door of the turtle lair, a small private hell broke loose. Red and blue bandana were loudly blaming each other, completely ignoring shy attempt of explanation from purple one. But no Donatello´s search result about apparent Foot obsession with historical artifacts could gain an attention of the screaming turtles.
The quarrel was ended the usual way - the arrival of Master Splinter, Leonardo´s excuse for distraction and Raphael disappearance.
Raphael jumped through the window of "their" offices and found what he had feared - the empty room.
While nervously boasting from one wall to another, he came up with several plans, every one differently insane. He could let Donnie hack into the police files or at least into the list of the new patients in New York hospitals. Or he could come back to the exploded villa and search the ground between firefighters and detectives. Maybe he can go and ask Foots for the list of their last victims?
When the floor behind him creaked, he whirled and threw himself at the girl with such an intensity that they almost created a new entrance in the wall. Yuna did not seem to be shocked by such a rough welcome and reciprocated equally. Just for the second Raph thought that dusty floor in an abandoned office is not a place of his dreams, but soon after the only thing that really mattered was her soft, warm and - most importantly - living body underneath.
The moment of passion was intense, liberating, destructive and short, but none of the deep breathing body did not care. There was a long silence, and then the girl's sweaty body trembled with cold. Rafael tighter his embrace.
"ID number?" he whispered pleadingly.
She shook her head. He turned around and leaned over her. Blue eyes were shining like two sapphires, but her face was unreadable again. Raphael's previous fear started to change into anger. How dare she does not trust him! How many rules he eluded since far! How many risks is he taking to be here with her! He swallowed the outburst of anger. Does she think the same? Is she here for the same reason as he or at someone's order? And was the proximity of danger and intoxicating taste of the forbidden fruit the main reason of this almost animal attraction?
Raph sighed with frustration, put his head down and closed his eyes. Minutes passed.
Then came the inevitable: "I must go."
He knew it was useless to object. He stood and silently watched her dress.
She turned back for the last time: "Avoid the eastern harbor." and was gone.
The lair was quiet and dark, only light came from the laboratory. The light attracted Raphael like a fly. Donatello was sitting at the computer, motionlessly starring into the monitor - a sure sign of exhaustion.
When Raph tapped on the brother´s shoulder, Donnie just looked up wearily.
"Go to sleep," local rebel advised, "I'll switch it off," and to his surprise Donnie wordlessly obeyed. He had to be more tired than he seemed. Normally he did not give up so easily. Raphael looked at the screen, seductively flashing, and after a while he was clacking on the keyboard.
About an hour later he fell asleep with many confused thoughts, only certain he was the last one in the bed as usual. But this time he was not.
