CHap 85 Zombies
The next day, Lexi was looking at Sam's laptop while sitting at the table having a bagel.
"Hey guys." She called out to her brothers.
"Yeah?" Dean asked her when Sam looked up from packing his bag.
"Lexi." Sam said to his sister as she sat there in a thought.
"Oh yeah. I was reading about these people, that when they get mad they turn into Zombies and never return as a human." She was explaining to her brothers.
"OK, this is I have to see." Dean said while he and Sam were coming by Lexi to see the article.
Dean and Sam were reading the article. They were shocked.
"I think we should check this out?" Lexi was asking her brothers.
"I guess so." Dean told her when they were then heading out.
Lexi had an idea.
"So Dean if I smashed all the windows on Babe you be ok with that?" She was then asking her brother.
Dean looked up quickly to her and giving her a death stare. When she saw that she hid behind Sam, since he was taller.
"What are you doing?" Sam asked her when he was wondering why she was behind him.
"I… I.. um wanted to see if Dean would turn into a Zombie." She said with a worried look.
"Zombie? Oh yeah look out." Sam says to her in a sarcastic way.
"Lex, seriously what are you talking about?" Dean asked her when she shook her head.
"Never mind." She said to him.
They were then heading to Cerro County, Iowa, while in the car driving.
"Lexi does it say how many victims total?" Sam asking his sister when she was reading the article.
"A total of 5 people were eaten alive." Lexi was saying when she shook her head.
"Ok so 5 people were eaten by a Zombie. But how?" Sam was saying when he was surprised at the article.
They were driving for a while. Lexi was lying down on the back seat. Sam was sleeping so he could drive after Dean was done. They were going to take turns driving. Since Dean was driving for a while they were stopping for some food, since Dean was hungry.
"When are ya not hungry?" Lexi was asking her brother.
"Hey I am a growing man." He said to her when he was pulling into the parking lot.
While walking in Lexi was walking in front of Sam as he guided her into the diner. Lexi felt people were looking at her. She turned to make sure Sam was still with her since it was packed.
"I'm here." He whispered to her when he was still behind her.
When they were walking to their table there was a bunch of truck drivers looking at her. She then stopped walking.
"Its ok. Dean and I here with ya." He was telling her. He was then making her go to the booth in the corner.
They were then sitting down. She was sitting next to Sam.
"You need to relax. No one will get ya." Dean was telling his sister.
"I know. It's just…" She was starting to tell them.
"What can I get you folks?" The Waiter asked them, causing Lexi to jump.
"A double cheese burger, fries and a slice of apple pie." Dean said placing his order.
"I'll have the chicken salad." Sam said when he went next.
"And for you sweetheart?" The waiter was asking Lexi.
Lexi was then moving closer to Sam when Dean noticed it.
"Ah, yeah that aint gonna happen." Dean said to him with a dirty look.
"What? Oh I'm sorry." The Waiter was telling Dean.
"I'll have a burger and fries." She she told him softly.
"You ok?" Sam asked her when he placed his arm around her.
She felt shy when her brothers asked her.
"Hey its ok, don't you worry about it." Dean was telling her when he gave her smile.
"Thanks." She quietly told her brothers.
Just then their food was coming. Lexi was eating her burger. Her brothers were talking. After they were done eating, they were then heading out.
"Hey let me drive for a while." Sam said to Dean when he threw his brother the keys.
"Do you wanna sit back here to sleep?" She was asking Dean.
"Yeah ok. Thanks." He said to her when she slid up front to sit with Sam.
"Just you and me kiddo." Sam said to his sister when she giggled to him.
She loved the nicknames her brothers would use to her.
"Let's go." Lexi told Sam with a smile while Dean was laying on the back seat sleeping.
