Chap 86 Zombies pt2

After driving for a while, they finally arrived in Cerro County,Iowa

"Hey Dean, wake up." Lexi said when she shook his foot when she was trying to wake her brother up.

Dean was getting up slowly. He looked around and saw the area where they were.

"Sam you drove all this?" Dean was asking his brother which he was surprised.

"Yeah its ok. Lexi kept me up." Sam said when Lexi shot him a look.

Sam saw the look his sister gave him. He gave her a smile.

"I was glad, relax." Sam said to her when he was then pulling into a diner.

They were then headed into the small diner. They were then taking a booth.

"Lexi, slide in." Dean told his sister which caused her a confusion of why.

"Why what's wrong?" She then asked her brother.

"No reason, yet." Dean told his sister when he gave her a big brother smile.

"I could of sat with Sammy, he's bigger." She told her brother.

"You sat with him the last time." Dean told her jokingly.

"Awww is Deannie jealous cause I sat with Sammy yesterday?" She asked her brother in a five year old voice.

"Very funny." He told his sister.

"Morning folks. What can I get you all?" The Waitress was asking them.

"I'll have 2 eggs, toast and homefries with coffee, please." Sam was telling her.

"I'll have 2 eggs, bacon, homefries, 2 pancakes and coffee, black." Dean told her next.

"I'll just have a bagel with cream cheese and apple juice." Lexi said to her with a smile.

"You sure do love bagels." Sam was telling his sister.

"Yup. Just as much as Dean loves his burger and pies." Lexi was saying when her and Sam broke out into a laugh.

"Keep laughing." Dean said making believe he was upset.

"Awww what's a matter big brother?" Lexi was asking him when she slipped her around his neck and pinched his cheek.

Sam sat there shaking his head, watching his brother and sister fool around. Just then the Waitress was bringing their food. She saw Dean and Lexi fooling around.

"Nice to see two people in love." The Waitress was saying when Dean almost choked on his coffee.

"Oh noooo. Were not together. She's my sister." Dean was telling her.

"Oh my gosh I feel dumb." The Waitress was saying when she was turning red.

"But I do love BOTH of my brothers." Lexi was telling her pointing to Sam and Dean.

"That's great. I lost my brother." The Waitress sadly was telling them.

"Sorry to hear that." Sam said to her when he saw a tear fall from her face.

Lexi knew the feeling of she would lose one of her brothers.

"He died in a weird way." She was telling them.

"Really, how's that?" Lexi had then asked her.

"He went fishing and was bit by a Zombie, weird right?" The Waitress was telling them which made the three of them curious now more about these man eating fish.

"Wow, didn't think they existed." Sam said to her.

"I'm sorry, but yes." She said when she took off into the kitchen.

"We need to chat with her to find out more." Lexi suggested to her brothers.

They started to eat their breakfast. When they were done, they were heading out. Dean through some money to cover the plates down on the table. While heading, Lexi was in behind her brothers, Dean was waiting for his sister. He was making her walk out in front of him.

"Hey look its our Waitress maybe we should talk to her?" Lexi tapped on the side of Deans jacket when she was asking her brother.

They were then going over by her.

"Hi." Lexi said to her.

"Hi." She said back wiping her tears.

"Were sorry for the loss of your brother, but can we ask you some questions of how?" Sam asked her sincerely.

She gave Sam a smile.

"Like what?" She was then asking him.

"Well, what can you tell of what happened?" Sam asked her.

"He was going fishing and since it was nice out and it just ate him." She said when she was crying.

Sam felt bad that he put his arm around her to comfort her. Lexi felt bad and knew if that was her and she lost her brothers, she would be upset as well. She moved closer to Dean.

"I don't even know you good people's name?" There Waitress was asking them.

"I'm Sam and that's my brother Dean and my sister Lexi." Sam was telling her.

"I'm Kathy." She told them.

"Hi Kathy." Sam said to her with a smile.

"I'm sorry for breaking down." Kathy started to say.

"No worry. I would be the same if I lost either of these knuckle heads." Lexi was telling Kathy.

Sam and Dean gave each other a look of what Lexi said.

"Well I have to get back. Thanks." Kathy said to them when she kissed Sam on the cheek.

Sam stood there with a smile

"You know we be the same without ya too, punk butt." Dean jokingly told his sister but serious to her.

Lexi looked up at her brother with a shy smile as they walking back to the car.

"Thanks." She told him.

They were then heading to Clear Water Lake to see what they can find out. Lexi was sitting in the back seat of the Impala.

"Ok so we need to get a boat and find out about these Zombies." Suggested Sam, when they then arrived at the docks.

They were looking around. Dean really didn't want to take a boat out. Lexi was heading down to the water. Her brothers were a few feet from her.

"Lexi! Come on back." Sam called out to his sister.

"I'll move away from the edge." She told her brother.

Her brothers were still not happy, they were just more worried than anything. While searching, Lexi thought she heard something. She stopped moving to see if she can see anything.

"Guys!" She said slowly to her brothers when all of a sudden something grabbed her arm.

Lexi had let out a yell when her brothers ran over to her. Dean grabbed his sister by her waist and moved her away. Sam saw her arm and he automatically took his shirt off to use it to put pressure on her wound.

"Does it hurt?" Dean was asking her trying to take her mind off her arm.

"Yyes." She told him with tears coming down her face.

Sam was wrapping her arm tightly to stop the blood. He gave his brother a worried look. Dean was sitting down still with Lexi in his arms.

"She might need stitches." Sam was telling his brother.

Dean had then scooped his sister up and carried her to the car.

"Sam drive. I'll sit with her back here." Dean told his brother when he threw him the keys to the car.

"Hang on sis." Sam said to her when he sped off to the Hospital.

"No. Back. To. Motel." Lexi trying telling her brothers.

"Do it." Dean said to Sam when he was then turning the car around and was heading back to the Motel.
