Author's Note: So basically...when I was eleven and first heard this song, I wanted to write a musical based off the entire album and this was kind of what happened when it came to this song...enjoy!

Day One-Hundred Twenty-Four: I've Got This Friend by The Civil Wars

"I have this friend…I don't think you know him, but…he's a little lonely," he said.

I smirked. "Like you?" I knew he was flirting with me; I could tell he was trying all night. I could play along. It was fun.

"No. He's lonely, but he's shy. Unlike me. I'd say I'm being pretty forward right now," he teased.

I contained the blush that was threatening to tint my cheeks.

"He's a real romantic. He could fall in love with anyone, but I know him. He needs the right girl. He deserves the right girl. All he really wants is for someone to want him back. But he's been rejected before, so he always hides when he likes someone."

"And what type is he?"

He raised an eyebrow. "Type?"

I rolled my eyes. "Type. Is he tall, dark and handsome or brooding or—"

"Strong but silent," he answered easily. "Do you know anyone?"

I thought for a moment. But I was pretty positive on the answer as soon as he started talking about him. "Well, there is one person I know. I don't think you know her, either. She's kind of like him. Birds of a feather fuck together, right?" I inquired.

"I-I'm pretty sure that's not how the saying goes," he stuttered.

I ignored him. "She's scared to fall in love with the wrong guy. She wants someone who'll respect her and love her back. She needs someone to be gentle with her."

"That's perfect!" Caleb exclaimed. "He's a gentle giant."

"She's very…unconfident, so I hope he's not some jerk who'll—"

"No. I'm the only jerk in our friendship," he announced.

A small smile came onto my face. "You're not a jerk…"

"This is perfect, Hanna," he continued. "They're both lonely and they're a perfect match. We have to set them up."

"Yeah, you're right," I agreed. "It'd be a shame if they never met…"

"But now, we don't have to worry about that.

"How did it go?" I asked as I took a bite of chocolate and looked up from my magazine.

Spencer leaned on the door. She looked awestruck. "He's perfect, Hanna."

I smiled as I watched her lay down on my bed. She looked so…peaceful. "It's like…he's right out of a dream. He's so sweet and kind and funny and…he almost feels too good to be true."

"Well…he's not!" I insisted. I wondered what he was thinking at the same moment. Probably the same exact thing she was thinking: she's lovely and perfect and gorgeous. Well…she was!

"Are you planning to go on that double date now?" Spencer inquired, interrupting my thoughts.

"What?" I felt my face turn red.

Spencer scoffed. "Don't act like you don't know. I already know that you like Caleb. And since we're best friends and they're best friends…it'd be fun," she insisted.

"Yeah," I decided finally as I took a deep breath. "Fun."

She took a deep breath and sighed. "He's perfect," she murmured quietly to herself.

LittleBittyAbby: Usually my writing isn't that cheesy. I get it. I didn't even leave my house yesterday. It was waaaaay too hot.

Sarah:Thanks for the opinion! Er...feedback.

MilaMizz: I don't think we're talking about the same friend. Hope you liked the Haleb :) And sorry, but I have to rant a little on this. I'm just really annoyed that the show condones a relationship like this because no matter how you spin it, it's ETHICALLY wrong. I just don't understand it. And they're making it okay. It makes me pissed. I get angry at Ezra because he's an adult and should know better than to give into his ephebophile urges (and you can't say he's not...Aria AND Alison? Irredeemable!), and then I get angry at Aria because she should ALSO know better and she just makes everything about her and oops, this was an Ezria rant, not an Aria one. But whatever, I'm not going to get into that right now. Um...okay? I don't know. I don't think my dad's ever done that, but nobody in my family takes blood thinners, either.

sarahschneider2012: Well...I hope I do a somewhat decent job at writing it, then, if that one gets chosen!

AL3110:Hmm...I wrote a fanfiction called "Forever in the Form of 15 Years"...oh, my God! I remember that one! I actually really like that idea...maybe I'll dig it up again...Thanks so much! I totally forgot about it! At first, I thought it was Jaria, but now I remember. Or are you talking about Theodora's FITFOFY? That was perfect and waaaayy cooler than mine...I miss it. Aww. You're my Danish BFFL. Well...you're the only Danish person I know, too, so...yeah.

The snippet from Revenge of the Little Liars:

"Hanna! What did you do to Alison?" Spencer asked sharply.

I sighed. "Spencer, we were just doing what was best for you. Alison was our friend like ten years ago. You're our best friend now. She's a bitch, Spencer. A bitch with blonde hair. Her and her gorgeous Chloe heels want nothing more than to stomp all over your dream of a quaint little house with a white picket fence," I explained to her.

I heard Spencer sigh on the other end of the line. "Alison is being a good friend. She even asked me to be her bridesmaid, Hanna. That's something a good friend would do, right?" she pondered weakly.

My heart broke for Spencer. No, there was no way that Alison freaking DiLaurentis would get away with this. It was so breaking the Girl Code. "Alison is not being your friend. Like I said, she's being a bitch. She doesn't love him the same way you love him. And I wasn't around love my entire life, so I would recognize when something is as foreign as love is to me. And he loves you, too. I can see it in your eyes, and in his eyes. Never did I ever think that blue and brown would make such a great combination."

"Hanna…" Spencer began. I spotted Aria walking in with Emily and quickly cut Spencer off.

"Gotta go, Spence! You know what they say: early jailbird catches the worm!" I exclaimed, pulling the phone away from my ear.

I'll put it on my profile, too. That was just a little snippet from the prologue!

The next one-shot is Ours by Taylor Swift. I've got this...right? and tomorrow's snippet will be off of "And So It Begins Again". -Kayson
