Chap 90 Road to Home
Dean was driving back to the bunker since they had killed the Zombies. Sam had Lexi leaning against him, while she was asleep.
"NO!" She gasp when she woke up from her sleep.
"Its ok. Were right here." Sam said to her trying to calm her down.
"Another night mare." Dean said to Sam when he was referring to his sister.
She would wake up every now and then from a night mare.
"Yeah." Sam said to his brother.
Dean glanced over to his sister seeing her sitting up.
"You ok Princess?" Dean asked his sister.
"Yeah fine." She quickly answered her brother.
"You are NOT fine." He said to her when she gave him a look.
"Hey its ok you know." Sam was telling his sister.
"I know, just don't wanna talk about it." She told them when they then dropped it.
"Want me to drive?" Sam was asking Dean wondering if he was tired.
"Nah I'm good. Soon you can-." Dean started to tell his brother.
They drove a few more miles before stopping for dinner. Sam slid out and was helping Lexi out of the car. She then got out and looked around her surroundings.
"You know, you're safe with us, right?" Sam whispered to her before heading in.
She looked up to her brother and gave him a smile. He was right she did feel safe with them around. Once they were inside they were taking a booth. She slid in to sit with Sam. When they were done Sam was then driving back.
"You wanna sit up front with us again?" Dean was asking his sister.
She stood there thinking. She was pretty tired but she also wanted to stay with them.
"Sure." She told her brother Dean when she slid up into the front seat.
They were talking about random things. Lexi had then put her head back and shut her eyes but opened them quickly when she realized she shut them.
"Hey close your eyes, we have a ways to go before we hit the bunker." Dean told her when he was putting her head on his shoulder for her to sleep.
He placed his arm around her so she knew he was with her. She was asleep in no time.
"She is so tired." Sam said t Dean when he quickly looked over to his sister.
"Yeah I know. We all are." Dean told his brother with yawn.
"I'm ok. Why don't you get some sleep?" Sam suggested to his brother when Dean was closing his eyes for a while.
Sam drove down the dusty highway road heading home, to his bed his own bed not just a Motel bed. He was so happy since they found that place that was given by their Grandfather Henry. Sam kept glancing over to Dean and Lexi where they were Dean was resting his head on her head while her head was on his shoulder. He shook his head to them. They were almost home. When they reached home Sam was waking them both up.
"Hey hey were home." He told both of them while they were then waking up.
"Home?" Lexi asked groggery to her brothers.
"Yeah kiddo." Sam said to her when she was trying to fully wake up so she can walk.
When they were getting out of the car, before she took another step Sam caught her in time.
"Hey come kiddo wakey wakey." Sam said to her when she was snoring.
"I guess I have the bags while you carry her." Dean said to his brother.
Sam was then carrying her inside the bunker to her room. When he placed her on her bed, he took off her boots and covered her with a blanket. He had then placed a kiss on top of her head.
"Nice sis." He said softly before walking out of her room and shutting her door.
"Still asleep?" Dean asked his brother.
"Yeah." Sam said heading into his room as well.
"Night." Dean and Sam said in unison when they both closed their doors.
