RECAP:
"That was for following me when I clearly told you not to, but this is for saving my life back there, My name is Luna, and until I trust you, that is the only information I will give you." She stated, looking at Majin's cheek and was surprised to see that her punch had no effect nor had it left a mark on his cheek. She then got dressed before hearing a crashing noise and looked to see an undead. She then looked at Majin as he said they needed to find shelter for the night. She nodded and the others followed Majin to a drug stor and promptly proceeded to board up the drug store for them to stay in that night. Luna walked to a corner and fell asleep, listening to the screams and banging throughout the night. She began to dream.
~Present~
Luna stayed in a corner, preferring to be by herself as she slept, if she was around other people. She then went to her subconsious and watched as her memories unfolded. She shivered, but didn't feel the man from earlier come close and lounge beside her, putting his head on her head/shoulder.
~Dream/Memory~
"Luna, are you even listening to me?" came an exasperated female voice.
"Yes mom, but must you tell this story repeatedly?" A six year old Luna asked.
"Because you never seem to want to retain the information I'm trying to teach you." Her mother stated, sighing heavily.
"Ok, ok, go on if it'll make you happy." Luna sighed.
"Now, as I was saying, the De Arlean Clan descends from the cross between a warrior priestess and a dragon god. The priestess's name was Zapphira Ithilwil and she was beautiful to behold but very fierce in battle and loyal to those who help or are close to her." Yasu began right where she had left off. Luna felt herself doze off, but she was absorbing the information her mother was teaching her, but she sometimes had trouble with her memory when asked questions about it. She listened as her eyes closed and she began to sleep.
Yasu had just laid Luna down when a banging was heard on their front door. She growled an oath, knowing that Luna, once awoken, would not go back to sleep unless she was rocked to sleep or talked to sleep, stormed up and opened the door. "WHAT!?" She growled, realizing that it was Vincent, her ex-mate and a squadron of his soldiers.
"Yasu, you can't raise a child alone." Vincent crooned, which only grated on Yasu's nerves because she knew Vincent was insincere in word and action.
"I've done fine so far for six years VINCENT!" Yasu replied, almost slamming the door in Vincent's face, until she heard the shuffling of tiny feet and looked to see her six year old daughter rubbing her eyes in a sleepy fashion and she cursed Vincent silently. "Honey, did I wake you?" Yasu crooned, kneeling down to the six year old's level. The six year old only nodded and Yasu picked her up, planting a kiss on her cheek before she turned and glared at Vincent, who was in turn, staring at Luna, making the small six year old uncomfortable. "Vincent, your best bet is to leave. She doesn't need you in her life. You'll never change and you'll put her through hell in the process." Yasu growled, holding her daughter protectively to her.
"You don't know that!" Vincent snarled, having to resist the urge to lunge towards Yasu and beat her senseless.
"Oh but I do Vincent, more than you know and I refuse to put Luna through that. Just leave, because you are TRESPASSING!" Yasu growled, but only received a slap to the face from Vincent and Luna cried out, alerting Oblivionis to the intruder. The dragon opened his lazy yellow eyes and lumbered over to where Yasu stood, rubbing a sore cheek.
"What happened Yasu?" he asked, being on familiar terms with Yasu.
"It's nothing Oblivionis, just some trash that needs to be removed from the property." Yasu growled, her ice ability kicking in and the temperature dropped from 75 degrees to 32 or lower. Vincent growled and lunged at Yasu, intending to kill her and take Luna away, but Oblivionis stepped inbetween and Luna and Yasu blinked, having not really seen this side to Oblivionis, even though they knew he cared about them, alot.
"Yasu, take Luna and run. I'll meet up with you later. I can't risk losing you twice now that I've found you again, and plus, Luna is a special girl. Get her away from here!" Yasu didn't have to be told twice. She ran, but not without protests from Luna.
~Reality~
Luna awoke to snoring in her ear, and she opened her blue eyes to see the perv from earlier with his head on hers. She wasn't in the mood for men coming onto, even while they slept. She growled an oath, closing her eyes in irritation as she punched him as hard as she could, sending him clear across the store where he hit a shelf of magazines and they scattered, burying him in the pile. 'Men are such pigs.' she thought, growling and standing up. She then noticed Majin was sitting there with his head down low and she walked up, grabbing his palm, concentrating as she stared blankly at it a moment before her eyes began to glow. This trance like state only lasted a moment or two before she gasps and alerts him to her presence. Majin then opened his eyes, looking into worried blue orbs. She felt an understanding dawn as she looked into his eyes, her own now hard and furious that he had been through so much. "To get off the island are two ways. One is to fly out, another is by boat." She whispered softly, her tone calm but under it was some sort of agitation. Majin could only nod, and Luna stood up, going to the back of the store to gather supplies and she began to hum a gypsy's song as she gathered the supplies.
Raidon groaned and rubbed his jaw where the smaller, and much younger, female had hit him, and he winced, noticing it was sore. 'That girl hits hard.' He thought, hearing rustling nearby and he looked to see Luna was gathering supplies as well as clothing. He grinned and stood up, silently walking up behind her and grabbing her, pulling her to him, and she began to struggle. Raidon grunted because he could feel himself throbbing with the need to claim her, to mark her, and he leaned down, his hot breath, which still reeked of alcohol, fanned her neck as his fangs enlongated, ready to place their mark, but before he could mark her, Fang bit him on his ass, in much the same fashion Comet did, but Fang had sharper teeth and Raidon yelped out in pain.
