"So, since you practically became the star of my wedding, I've got to have another one." Alice joked, sitting on the edge of Bella's purple bed. The room had barely changed since Bella had first moved to Forks, and in a way it was relaxing to Alice. Their lives had been turned upside down and the room reminded her of better days.
"Alice, I'm so sor.." Bella started, but was cut off by Alice's hand covering her mouth.
"There's nothing to apologize for, B. I was kidding."
"Alice, I ruined your big day. Ruined it. Are you even married?" Bella's eyes were huge, full of sorrow.
"Jasper and I signed the papers the night before our actual wedding day, so we were married even before the wedding." She said flippantly, like it wasn't a big deal. "Plus, you just gave me an excuse to plan a better wedding." She smiled wide, practically bouncing up and down. "A wedding that you get to help plan, just like we always talked about."
Bella groaned loudly, and Alice shoved her arm, forcing her to fall back on the bed. "I mean it's the least you can do for me Bel." Alice smiled, her face lighting up in a way that made Bella nervous. "To give me the party of the year."
Jasper and Edward sat in the Cullen's living room, going over their plans. "We can't just show up, can we?" Edward asked, running a hand over his face. "Figure it out as we go along?"
Jasper sighed heavily. "No Edward, you know me, we're going in with a heavy formulated plan, a plan we've already discussed."
"I just don't know, man." Edward got up now, pacing the length of the room. "I just don't know if I'll be able to handle myself."
"You've got a week to get yourself together." Jasper grabbed his friend's wrist, pulling him back toward the couch. "I told Alice I was taking you to the beach for a break. She was pretty happy about it. Said she could finally have Bella's time. Said they would plan a whole new wedding." Edward's face was in his hands now, tense. "She was even happier to know that Emmett would be coming along."
"How am I going to leave her, Jas?" Edwards questioned. "What if something happens while I'm gone? What if she needs me? What if…"
"No what ifs, Ed. She needs you to do this and you know it. Bella needs us to make sure these people never have the opportunity to fuck with her again."
Resolved, Edward grinned slightly, his hands turning to fists "You're right. I'm going to make sure they never even think her name again."
