Chap 97 Saving Her
Lexi had then fallen asleep on the bed. Cass was covering her up with the blanket, and then he was going to check her out.
"You really saved your sister." Cass told Dean.
Dean just peeked over towards Lexi and watched her sleep.
"She'll be ok. "Cass told him when he then disappeared.
"Sammy if we didn't get to her when we did AGAIN she -." Dean said hating to finish the sentence.
Dean was hating himself for letting her be alone in the bar among all those guys.
"Look, we saved her before it was too late." Sam said to his brother trying to make him feel better.
Sam was then going to his lap top while Dean's cell was going off.
"Yeah. Oh hey Ellen. Yeah she did. Well. Ellen look, I don't-. Sammy and I got to her in time. Oh NO, I would of killed the bastard. No some looser. Yeah sure." Dean said closing his phone and turning to his sister to watch her sleep.
Sam saw the guilt on his brother's face. He could pretty much knew what he was thinking.
"Dean ." Sam said to his brother.
Dean gave Sam a sad look before turning back around. Lexi was stirring in her sleep. Again Dean's cell went off.
"Yeah. Oh hey. Yeah ok thanks. Talk soon." Dean said to the caller when he then hung up.
Sam was looking to see who it was.
"Gordon said he'll take over since we need to help Lexi right now." Dean told Sam when he nodded to Dean that he agreed.
It was getting late. Sam thought he would let Dean stay with Lexi.
"You wanna share with her?" Sam was asking his brother.
"Yeah thanks." Dean said softly to him when he was getting his boots off.
He was quietly getting in the bed without waking Lexi up. He laid their feeling so bad that he couldn't sleep. Normally he would leave for the bar but at this point he could not leave Lexi.
"Please no." She kept saying in her sleep while she was moving around a lot.
She then sat up quickly holding her chest with tears coming down her face.
"Hey hey its ok." Dean said to her holding her in his arms close to his side.
While resting her head on his shirt the tears were soaking his shirt.
"I-I-'m ssory." She told her brother.
"No need." He said to her kissing her on her head.
Sam was then getting up when he heard her crying.
"She ok?" Sam was asking his brother as he too was worried about her.
"Bad dream." Dean told Sam.
Sam was then getting up and sitting on the other side of her.
"Hey kiddo, its gonna be ok." Sam said to her rubbing her back.
She looked up at both of her brothers and gave them a half smile.
"Thank you. You both save me. You're both a hero." She told her brothers.
"Come on and get some sleep." Dean said to her laying her back down.
"Sam don't go please." She begged her brother when she grabbed his hand before he was able to get off the bed.
"Yeah sure." He said to her when the three of them were in the bed together.
She slept better knowing her brothers were with her. She could feel them next to her. When she rolled over she placed her hand around Dean's arm and held like a little kid who is scared. Dean felt her and looked over to her and smiled. He was pushing her hair away from her face.
The next morning Sam was already at his lap top. Dean was getting them breakfast while Lexi was still sleeping. When Dean came back he saw her still sleeping.
"Still sleeping uh?" Dean asked Sam when he was coming back in.
"Yeah. She stirred a few times but went back to sleep." Sam said when he was letting Dean know.
Dean handed Sam his coffee and roll. Dean was sipping his coffee while he sat there in a thought.
"Hey." Sam was saying when he was snapping his fingers in front of Dean's face.
"Sorry. I just cant stop thinking bout yesterday." Dean told him softly.
Sam knew this was eating at his brother a lot. Soon Lexi was waking up. She saw her brothers up.
"Hey what time is it?" She asked rubbing her eyes to wake up.
"Nine." Sam told her peeking over his lap top.
"Nine. Why didn't you get me up hours ago?" She was then asking her brothers.
"You needed to sleep." Dean said to her.
"What bout the case?" She was wondering when she asked her brothers.
"Gordon was taking care of it." Sam said to her.
She was then getting up to take a shower. She then stopped walking.
"Was I –um?" She was trying to ask them.
"No. We got to you in time." Dean told her when he knew what she was asking him.
Dean and Sam both saw her let out a relief about that. She then went into the bathroom. They then heard the shower running. She stood there in tears.
"You think she'll be ok?" Dean looked at Sam when he asked his younger brother.
"She will. She's tough plus she has us." Sam said to Dean.
After a few minutes she was then coming out and Dean and Sam had the car packed already. They saw how puffy her eyes were.
"Hey. Its gonna be ok." Dean said to her stopping her when she was coming out of the bathroom.
"Thanks." She told her brothers.
"Here's a bagel and Dr Pepper, you need to eat." Dean told her when she was trying to eat.
When she was half way done she was ready to leave.
"I need to leave." She told her brothers, when Sam was walking her to the car.
She was staying close to Sam. He made her slide up front to sit. While driving home the ride was quiet. Lexi was staring down at her hands. Dean had then pulled over and was getting out. He sat on the hood of his car. Sam and Lexi were then also getting out seeing what was wrong.
"What's up?" Sam asked his brother.
"Lexi I am so sorry, that I let this happen. I promised you I would never let that happen or anything happen to ya and I did. You two are my life. We're all we have. " Dean said to her with a tear in his eye.
Lexi was then coming in the middle of her brothers.
"Dean, you and Sammy, saved me last night. I don't blame you. Your right we are all we have, please don't -." She was saying when she stopped.
"Don't worry we would never leave you." Sam told her putting his arm around her.
"Sam's right, kiddo. We will always be here for each other." Dean said to her when she looked up at him and he wiped her tear away.
"Thanks guys. You're both my hero." She said smiling to them.
"Sometimes I don't feel like a hero. Its my job to keep you and Sammy here safe." Dean was telling her.
"We will both keep you safe." Sam also told his sister.
"We all can keep each other safe." Lexi told her brothers giving them both a kiss on their cheeks.
They were then just sitting there in the moment taking it all in.
