Vanguard: Light Speed

Chapter 23

A Golden Sea

It wouldn't be inaccurate to state that the Vanguard world had gone through yet another upheaval in it's long history when Isaac showed Sakura the difference in their abilities and claimed hers for Team Strike Shadow. In fact ever since that happened Sakura had been doing non-stop interviews. Her latest one had her on a talk show that was essentially a modern day version of the "Tonight Show"... not that anyone knows what that is anymore.

"And we're back. I hope you didn't enjoy the video of the snake eating peanuts too muchbecause we have another very special guest here tonight. She's the several time champion of the Vanguard National Tournament's single division, one of the dream girls for male Vanguard players, and apparently the latest fighter to be added to Team Strike Shadow's roster. Please give a warm welcome to Sakura Verde!" said the host of the talk show.

I'd actually say what the host's name was, but I honestly can't for the life of me remember. In any case Sakura was wearing a light blue business blouse, a near knee length skirt, and a pair of high heels (of which she didn't look too comfortable in) to this nonchalant public affairs escapade.

"Thank you Bob. I'm glad to be here and I'm a big fan of the show." Sakura said with her public face smile.

Neither of those things were true, and for the record I have no memory as to whether or not the guy's name was Bob... I'm just using it as a throw-a-way name in order to have something to call him.

"Right well... I know you have a busy schedule so I'll get right down to the questions you've been asked countless times since your match with Isaac." Bob said.

"If it's within my ability to answer than feel free." Sakura retorts.

"My first question is... how do you feel about your father being on of the major sources of finance for a team you've been forced to join?" Bob inquires.

"It's my father's money not mine. What he does with it is his own business... basically what I'm saying is that I really don't have an opinion on the matter." Sakura quickly answers.

"Alright... second question... how do you feel about being forced to join a major powerhouse of the Vanguard National tournament's team division when you've refused countless other offers?" Bob asks.

"It does annoy me that I won't be able to defend my title as the single's division champion this year, but I'll abide by my word and do what I can for Team Strike Shadow. My contract with them only puts me in their service for this year's team tournament, so also intend to get back my title next year." Sakura explained in a polite manner.

"I'm sure the fans appreciate your modesty. Like you Isaac Barrett is one of the most talented fighters of our era, but now that you've had a chance to face him yourself... just how strong do you think he is?" Bob asks as he takes a sip of his coffee.

"Hmmm I wasn't sure at first, but he's a lot stronger than me. Isaac will have to say otherwise in case I'm wrong, but I'd say I only got him to use about 70% of his true ability." Sakura answers.

"Alright then... now I'm going to ask you a question a reporter asked Isaac during the Expo." Bob said go.

"Go ahead." Sakura said as she mentally prepared herself for what's coming.

"Asides from anyone obvious, is there any fighter you consider to be stronger than you?" Bob inquired.

"Ah thank you... I'd say there are only two people I consider stronger than me." Sakura said as she takes a moment to think about the question after one of the crewman gets her a beverage.

"Really? Do you mind telling me more about them?" Bob asks.

"While I'm in Tarrant City I stay in a house my father owns, but I'm rather bad at housework... so much so that if I ever get married I'd probably kill my husband via food poisoning if my fans didn't get to him first. Anyways my father hired a part time maid to deal with the housework, and on a whim I challenged her to a fight while she was on break." Sakura explained as she has a slight laugh with the concept of marrige.

"How did the fight go?" Bob asks.

"Oh I lost... rather badly in fact. I was quite surprised by how strong she was." Sakura answered.

"Just what is this mysterious maid's name?" Bob asks.

"With all due respect Bob I'm going to have to plead the fifth on that one. She has her own issues to deal with and I'd rather not have my career affect her personal life." Sakura says in a defiant tone.

"I suppose that fair, but who's the other person if you don't mind my asking?" Bob asks.

"Hmmm... now now Bob a lady has to keep a few secrets." Sakura said as she wagged a single finger in a kind lecturing tone.

"Okay I guess your fans can handle that much. Now then since this was supposed to be a short interview, I'm just going to skip to the last few questions... about your personal life to be specific if you don't mind." Bob explained.

Given the look on this talk show host's face... these were the questions he really wanted to ask.

"Whether or not I'll answer depends on the question, but... I'm willing to listen." Sakura answered as she was curious as to what particular piece of information he was after.

"Don't worry... I really only have one question to ask, and... maybe a few followup ones depending on how you respond." Bob said in order to reassure Sakura of his somewhat questionable intent.

"Then go ahead and ask." Sakura retorts.

"When Isaac said what he wanted from you... there was a bit of a misunderstanding about his intentions, and you said that you already had your eyes on a lucky guy. Just what is he like? Of course you don't have to answer if you don't want to. I like to consider myself different from those other hosts and reporters." Bob asks.

"I don't know what his name is or where he is now, but ten years ago I was at... well I don't think I need to say it." Sakura said as clearly recalled something she didn't want to.

In case it wasn't already obvious... she was talking about that grand earthquake 10 years ago.

"I um... I saw my mother be cut in two by a large piece of falling glass... I still have nightmares about it. Afterwards I just ran and started crying in the back of one of the food places... I kept crying having given up on living when a boy about my age spoke to me." Sakura said as she started to tell a summarized version of a certain familiar sad tale.

"Oh I'm sorry if my question brought up bad feelings, but... we're out of time. Please stay with us as we bring you a message brought to us by one of our sponsors." Bob said rather suddenly.

I have no memory of what commercial was being played, but Sakura left the stage as soon as she was given the "All Clear" signal. Instead of going straight home though... she headed towards the crew's snack table in order to satisfy her grumbling stomach.

"So how long have you been here?" Sakura said to an unknown person as she busy spreading cream cheese on a bagel.

"Oh... I thought I hid myself rather well... then again I suppose wearing something like this isn't exactly subtle." said a certain silver haired maiden.

I don't think I need to say who it is, but real maids don't normally wear a maid's dress... this particular person however was.

"Abygail, I thought you had requested the next week and a half off to catch up with your friends." Sakura points out as she starts to munch on her bagel.

"I did... officially my last shift before my little vacation doesn't end for another hour. I only came here because you weren't answering your phone, and I wanted to tell you that a few pipes burst at your home rendering it inhospitable. I already made arrangements for repairs and for you to stay at the master suite at the Marriott near your home until they're done. Unfortunately most of your clothes have been ruined, but I also made arrangements for that too." Abygail explained.

"Well that sucks... I got a cute new mini-skirt I wanted to wear today, but thanks for telling me. Still... declaring war on my... on Team Strike Shadow like that... it's a bit much for you don't you think?" Sakura points out.

"Hmm I could have sworn I had my cell... ohh... I have no idea what your talking about." Abygail mumbles as she suddenly registers Sakura's question.

"I saw the recording of that Will's fight against Teresa that was posted online, and I saw your influence in the way he fought." Sakura said as she starts to put cream cheese on another bagel.

Sakura sticks her serving knife set up onto this snack table once more into the open carton of cream cheese, but than all of a sudden she finds herself banging the knife against something that's very much solid. With her curiosity piqued, Sakura carefully digs out that something with the knife.

"What the... is this... is this a cellphone?" Sakura mumbled as she takes note of the LED screen that's somehow shining through the glob of cream

"Oh you found it... thank goodness... my mom and dad would have been quite irate with me if I lost another cellphone." Abygail said as she suddenly takes back the cream covered phone and starts wiping it with a nearby napkin.

"How do you lose a cellphone in a tub of... no... I'm not even going to finish that question. I can't forget that you're a complete airhead in all other times of the day." Sakura mumbled as she couldn't help but shake her head in response to what she's seeing.

As soon as Abygail finished wiping off all of the cream cheese on her phone and making sure it still worked, she stuck her cellphone in a seemingly hidden pocket only to suddenly take it back out for some strange reason.

"Ah it seems your father's secretary had sent me a message on your father's behalf." Abygail said as her eyes are instantly drawn to something on her phone.

"He would like you to head to Team Strike Shadow's training facility so you can formally meet the rest of the team." Abygail informed.

"Oh so she did..." Sakura mumbles as she finds a similar message on her own phone.

"Now if you'll excuse me I have a few... hmm is there something else you wanted me to do." Abygail was saying when Sakura suddenly stopped her by grabbing her shoulder.

"Don't try dodging my question." Sakura interjects.

"I still don't know what you're talking about, but if this Will chose to do something... it was certainly wasn't on any request of mine." Abygail said as she decides to play to her air headed nature intentional or no.

"I'll head straight there after I take care of something on my way, so you can just go ahead and do what ever it was you needed to do." Sakura said as she decides to let Abygail go.

I still have no idea where Abygail went after this nor do I know where Sakura went between her and Team Strike Shadow's training facility, but I do of course know where I was at this particular point in time. I was with my best friend Virgil, and we were dressed in a simple shirt and tie as we visited the final resting place of a dear friend and family member.

"How much longer?" Virgil asks in a clear depressed and sullen tone of voice.

"Like always it should be just past this tree." I answer in an equally sullen tone.

Those are the words we speak we've spoken every time we've came here for the past three years.

"It looks like your mom and your brother got here before us." I point out.

We had arrived at our destination... a single well-kept graves with 2 bouquets made up of two very different flowers carefully nestled against the gravestone.

"Here lies Corrina Hernandez, the girl who was the golden sun rising over the open ocean to her friends and family." Virgil said fighting back tears as he recited a portion of the gravestone's contents.

Virgil and I didn't come here to pay our respects empty handed, we pitched together some petty cash for a bouquet and for something equally important. Virgil placed the flowers as I took out a pair of numbered candles and and a matchbook.

"Happy 16th birthday Corrina. I hope you're having a real awesome party up there without us." I say aloud as I carefully placed the numbered candles and lit them.

Somehow Virgil and I were able to keep a straight face, but that still didn't stop the tears from rolling down either of our eyes. I said all I wanted to for now, so now it was a certain big brother's time to speak.

"Sorry that we couldn't get you the puppy you wanted this year either, but you know how mom and our brother are allergic. Normally I'd just tell you how the year went, but I have a surprise for you. This year Kiba and I are going to make the dream we had together come true, and win the Vanguard National Tournament." Virgil said as he bent his knees as if little Corrina was standing in front of us right now.

"Yeah we got a team together between your brother, myself, Raphugio though I... know you never met him, and our leader... this really mysterious girl Dalette. I could tell that she has a lot of secrets to keep, but she's a great fighter. I'll never say this in front of her, but... I believe she's exactly like the kind of woman you wanted to grow up to become." I say as I start to imagine Corrina standing in front of me two.

We said all kinds of things to the grave of someone Virgil and I cared a great deal for. We spent somewhere between 1.5 to two hours talking about our friends, how I narrowly defeated Isaac in the most grandiose of manners (which we all know was a lie for show), and many other things. When we were done and our tears had finally stopped, Virgil and I said our goodbyes as we made our way back to my car.

"Yawwwwn... say Virgil could you drive to the card shop?" I ask as I prepare to toss my keys to my friend.

"No problem, but do you mind if I ask why?" Virgil asks as he catches my keys.

"I had... an episode last night and I couldn't sleep." I explain as I take a moment to think about to follow my opening.

"Alright... no problem. Say... did you know my sister had a huge crush on you?" Virgil said as he gets into the driver's seat of my car.

"Yeah... I was there remember." I chuckle.

Soon enough the motion of the moving car helps me relax, and after a few minutes as Virgil drives onto the freeway narrowly avoiding a car that tried to beat a red light... I started to nod off... and I started to dream... to relive something that happened a few days after I was finally dug out all of that rubble.

"Shhhh... Sade, don't cry... there there your big brother is there for you." I whisper.

I was holding Sade as a baby in my arms trying to calm her down my gently massaging her back, of which one should consider impressive considering the fact my right arm was in a cast and I was under a combination of pain killers. I was still under considerable discomfort due to extreme muscle strain, but they couldn't give me any more painkillers for fear of destroying my kidney.

"Awww... aren't you a good big brother." said the nurse who's been checking up on me these past few days.

She was here to check my IV, see if I need anything, and feed Sade some formula. Actually normally she'd be staying in the pediatric ward, but I was adamant that they take a different course of action.

"Still... no luck finding my parents?" I ask.

"Not that I've heard no, but... don't give up Kiba. There can't be that many Nakashimas staying in Tarrant City." the nurse said with a smile that helped me feel at ease.

"Where's my son?!" I hear a concerned mother scream at the top of her lungs.

"Oh poor dear... this has been happening since we dug the first survivors out of the rubble." the nurse said as she overhears the woman's scream.

"Mom... I'm over here!" I yell as loud as I can in my current state.

It was my mother that was yelling, and soon enough I could hear the sound of multiple pairs of feet running towards my room. Speaking of which I actually had my own room... something about the father of a certain girl being grateful for what I had done.

"Kiba... oh thank goodness... tell me mommy where it hurts!" my mom yells as soon as she runs into my hospital room.

"Everywhere... can't breathe." I struggle to say as my mom starts to give me a bear hug.

She wasn't alone... Virgil's mom, Virgil himself, and even my workaholic father was here.

"Oh I'm sorry." my mom said as she let's go of me.

Virgil's mom rained in my mother a bit, Virgil himself gave me a pat on the back to see that was okay, and my dad... though make no mistake I know now that he was worried, but he just stared at me in acknowledgment that I wasn't one of the corpses. The only reason Virgil's dad and his brother weren't her was because they were on a camping trip in an area that didn't get cell reception when this all went down.

"Ah I'm sorry to disturb this happy reunion, but I'm Dr. Rivera. Which one of you are the patient's direct blood relatives?" as young female pediatrician walked into my room.

"That would be us Doctor... please tell us how our son is?" my father asks with a great deal of concern as he places his arm around my mother.

But again because of how my relationship with my dad was strained even then I didn't even notice that he was concerned... then again it could have been the result of the pharmaceutical cocktail flowing through me as well.

"X-Rays show that your son has a broken right arm, severe muscle strain, and a few minor cuts and bruises." Dr. Rivera explained in a calm and professional manner.

"How did that happen?"my mom quickly asks.

"Your son explained that he broke his arm as he fell when one of the stadium's section's collapsed and as or the muscle strain... he said it was to keep some of the rubble from crushing him and his sister." Dr. Rivera explained.

"I'm sorry doctor, but I don't have a daughter... Kiba is an only child." my mom said as like my father she was clearly confused by the doctor's news.

As if on cue, the nurse had carefully placed Sade back in my arm after feeding her.

"I see you had only just arrived... perhaps it would be best if your son explained... that is... if it's not to hard for you Kiba." Dr. Rivera said as she still only had my best interest at heart.

"When I was trying to get away on one of the lower levels... a nice lady helped pull me through the crowd, but... before we got to one of the ramp things... the floor broke under her. She had one hand on the ledge and another on Sade... she was loosing her grip so... I promised to be her new big brother mom... I can't let them take her away." I mumble as tears come out of my eye as I just... I just couldn't finish that story.

"Oh you poor baby... of course we'll take this little one in... isn't that right dear?" my mom said as she patted both my head and Sade's.

"If... no one is able to find her next of kin... then I'll honor the girl's mother's wishes and make the arrangements." my dad said as even he couldn't refuse the influence of the woman that stood behind him.

"Right... you're son will be here for at least another week provided while we wait for his muscle strain provided nothing comes up in a few followup tests I've ordered. It would normally be only a couple of days, but as you can see we're rather backlogged.

"Is there any medicine he'll need to start taking?" my father asks.

"Some standard antibiotics and painkillers should be all he needs... anything else will depend on the results of the test. You should also know that a tiny bone fragment nicked a nerve in your son's arm... it won't affect his daily life too much, but he's permanently lost about 10% or so of the strength in his right arm." the doctor explained.

"You here that man... you'll be out of here in no time... maybe even for our school's vanguard team tournament." Virgil said excitedly.

"I've also gotten the information for a few therapists... I'd recommend that you have your son see one as soon as possible to nip any psychological issues this will cause in the bud asap." Dr. Rivera suggests.

"Thank you doctor..." my dad said as he shook the doctor's hand.

"I just wish... Corrina was here." Virgil said as his happy face turned into one of sadness.

The doctor had turned to leave the room to check up on her other patients, but for a reason that will soon become clear she turned around as soon as Virgil said his sister's name.

"I'm sorry, but did you just say Corrina little one? Would her last name happen to be Hernandez." Dr. Rivera asks Virgil.

"Yes he did... that's my daughter's name doctor." Virgil's mother said as she answered for her son.

"Rescue workers pulled a 5 year old girl out of the rubble 12 hours ago, and put her into emergency surgery to remove her legs and left hand... they were infected beyond the point of recovery... I was told it had to be done. Anyways she regained consciousness a little while ago... in fact I happen to be the doctor assigned to see to her recovery. I left her room before I came here, and she said that her name was Corrina Hernandez." Dr. River explained.

As soon as Virgil's mom heard that news... she became as hysterical as my mom and grabbed the doctor's shoulders with incredible amounts of strength.

"Where is she doctor? Where's my daughter?" Mrs. Hernandez asked as she was practically ready to literally shake the life out of the doctor.

"5 doors down from this room on the left hand side." Dr. Rivera answered.

As soon as Virgil's mom heard that news, she bolted out the door as fast as my mom came running towards it... leaving her youngest son behind in the process.

"Go already." I say as Virgil looked like he'd feel guilty if he left my hospital room all of a sudden.

"Thanks." Virgil said before he quickly followed after his mother.

Soon the doctor and the nurse followed after so as to properly inform Virgil and his mom of his sister's condition. That just left my mom, my dad, Sade, and I... but I wasn't just going to sit there knowing that Corrina somehow made it out.

"What do you think your doing Kiba?" my mom asks she notices me sitting upright as I placed Sade carefully next to me.

"I'm going to see her." I answer as I reach for my IV tube.

"Dear..." my dad said in order to get my mom's attention.

"I don't care if this is one of the rare times you want to spoil your own son, but he needs to lie down and rest. If need be I'll tell him how Corrina's doing myself." my mom pointed out as she refused to let my father get a word in edgewise.

"He's going to her room." my father retorts.

"No he isn't." my mother said with worry.

"No I mean... he's going to her room." my dad said as he points his finger back at my hospital bed.

My mom turned her head back towards my hospital bed, and found an empty bed with IV fluid spilling on it. A second later she heard the door to my hospital room open and close.

"Just a little farther." I mumble to myself as I lean against the wall.

I was by no means walking slowly despite my condition, but because of the medicine I was under relaxing my muscles... I couldn't stand under my own power and had to lean against the cold hospital wall to keep me steady as worked my way towards her.

"Corrina!" I yell as soon as I open the door to her room.

Somehow I avoided falling over myself as I opened the door, but right as I did that Virgil ran past me crying. I know now why he was crying, but when I asked him about it later... he simply refused to answer.

"What are you doing here? You should be in your room resting." Virgil's mother pointed out once she becomes aware of my presence.

There was a step stool right next to Corrina's hospital bed. Virgil probably used it so he could look at his sister at eye-level, and in just a matter of seconds so did I.

"Hey, how are you doing?" I ask as I ignore the steady beeping of her hear monitor and look at Corrina from the top of this stool.

I finally witnessed the same sight that Virgil and his mother did. It was exactly as the doctor described...everything below her knees was gone, there was a nub where her left hand used to be, and somehow despite her fever as well as the pain... Corrina was conscious of her surroundings right now.

"I'm glad... cough... cough... that... that you're okay Kiba." Corrina said in a weak tone of voice.

"I'm glad that you're still okay too." I say as I grab her right hand with both of my own.

"Sorry... it looks like I won't be able to stand with you... and Virgil at the tournament." Corrina weakly sighs.

"Don't talk like that... you'll be back on your feet before you know it." I retort obviously with no pun intended.

"Say... just in case could you come a little closer? There's something I want to tell you."Corrina whispers.

"Sure." I said as I decide to comply with her request.

I moved my face so close to Corrina's that you could place a pebble between our noses, and use it as a bridge to cross from one person to the other.

"I've always had a big crush on you." Corrina whispers.

"Huh?" I mumble back seeing as how a 6 year old couldn't have possibly seen a love confession coming.

Corrina used what little strength that she had left in that tiny body of hers; and lifted herself up just enough to lock lips for but a second.

"Ha ha... that was my first kiss." Corrina chuckled as she fell back onto her bed.

"Beep beeep beeeep beeeeep beeeeeep beeeeeeep beeeeeeeep beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep." was the noise that Corrina's heart monitor made.

"Oh... nurse!" Dr. Rivera yelled.

Not needing any more direction than that, the nurse let years of training and experience take over as she stuck her head out into the hallway.

"Code blue!" the nurse screamed at the top of her lungs.

"Corrina... Corrina... Corrina... Corrina." I say over and over again as I hear the shuffling of hospital staff feet behind me.

Thus ends my recollection of my past and this dream, but by force rather than one naturally basking in the sun's light.

"Kiba... man... Kiba, wake the hell up!" Virgil yelled as with one hand on the wheel and the other shaking my body, he glanced between me and the road.

"Arghh!" I yell as I return to the conscious realm.

I was sweating, shaking, and my breathing was ragged. I quickly reached for the glove compartment and starting pull out various documents with a great deal of vigor, and I only stopped when I pulled out a bottle of prescription pills with my name on it.

"In you go." I mumble as I quickly swallow one of the pills in the bottle.

Within seconds the pill I swallowed takes effect, of which allowed me to relax and start breathing normally again.

"I'm sorry you had to see that again." I tell Virgil as this wasn't the first time I had one of these episodes in front of him.

"No problem. What... what were you dreaming about? I mean... you were saying her name over and over again?" Virgil asks out of a combination of concern and curiosity.

"I was reliving the moment of... well you know." I tell Virgil as he realizes that I didn't want to finish that sentence.

I may have only lightly implied that I had the condition in previous chapters, but I'll say it bluntly now... at the age of 10 I was diagnosed with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. The pill you just saw or rather read me take is one of two I've been prescribed for the past 7 years.

"Hmmm... this isn't the off-ramp that will take us to the card shop." I point out as I kill time by reading the various road signs ahead of Virgil and I.

"I know it isn't man... and I'm sure that I can explain it to Raphugio and Dalette later, but I'm taking you home right now. Between visiting Corrina's grave and one of your episodes... I don't think it's a good idea for you to go to the shop right now." Virgil said as he explained the reason he chose to drive past the off-ramp.

"How are you going to get home?" I ask.

"Gilberto is busy running his law firm, but... my mom should beat your place. I'll just catch a ride with her." Virgil retort.

"Alright." I say as I fall back asleep once more, but this time I was able to dream peacefully for once.

However I don't dream that long as it's a short ride to my house from here, and from there it's an even shorter walk through my front door.

"What are you doing here son? I thought you and Kiba were going to see your friends at that card shop you like to visit." Virgil's mom asked as she could see us coming through the front door.

Normally I'd play the role of the pleasant host, but this time around I just took off my shoes and went up the stairs to my room.

Where are you going son?" my asks, but I simply ignore her.

"Sorry Mrs. Nakashima, but your son had one of his episodes on our way there... and I thought it would be better to just bring him back home." Virgil said as he quickly explained the situation to my mother.

As I closed my bedroom door behind me I could hear Virgil holding a conversation with his mother as well as my own, but right now I wasn't really interested in any of that.

"There are so many strong fighters out there. Just what will I have to do asides from simple training to be able to keep up with them?" I mumble to myself as I lay down on my bed.

My thoughts were simply a truthful observation of the situation. I mean there was Nikki, Will, Teresa, Sakura, Jacob, Isaac, and even Sebastian of Team Red Star if you're all willing to count him. Then even if Nolan and I are truly roughly equal in skill... she has vastly more experience fighting on those higher stages than me. An ordinary every day fighter would probably think "I'll never be able to compete with those geniuses", however I decided in that moment to refuse being one of those kinds of fighters any longer.

"Just this once..." I mumble to myself as I get off my bed after only laying on it for a few minutes.

After I got off my bed I walked up to the bookcase in my room, and pulled out the copy of one of the Sword Art Online light novels my dad got for me on my 14th birthday. Then I took a deep breath and started flipping through the pages for something.

"Just this once I'll accept the power you offered to me father." I mumble to myself as I reach the page I was looking for in this book.

On that page was the four copies of the card my dad gave me not too long ago... it wasn't out of any malice that I did that, but rather for the safety of the card's well-being.

"Come next week at the Vanguard National qualifier tournament I'll give you a chance to show me the power my dad sees in you Eradicator of Hope, Abraxas." I mumble as I take the four cards in my hand.

To Be Continued

Kiba: So the regional tournament finally begins.

Raphugio: Yeah... we can only go up from here.

Dalette: Hmm... where's Virgil?

Virgil: What the hell do you think you're doing?!

Kiba: Next time on Vanguard: Light Speed "The Forrest of The Deceased"

Gilberto: Show it to me little brother... show me that you have the power to make our sister's dream come true.
