"Its getting dark." Leonidas said looking to the sky. It would soon be time to get home.
Laval was way in lead. He was about 5 feet away, but in close proximity for the guards to protect him.
He stopped twice to get a thorn or two out of his paw-like feet. His ears perked at the sound of something.
Was someone talking? Or was it something else? He gestured for the guards to be quiet.
He went towards the source, to find a albino Human, Ali. He just gazed at her.
She didn't notice him since she was listening to her music. She was so,... Pretty.
Ali stirred and looked around except behind. He would be polite and introduce himself.
But he knew, not knowing what or who she was, he couldn't. He noticed Ali was about to look behind.
"Laval!" Eris called.
Ali looked to see Laval, and screamed. The Lions looked to see Eris flying to them with the rest of Laval's friends.
Laval's reaction time was fast. He gripped her arm and pulled her back. Slamming into him. They both fell
backwards and landed on the ground with a rough thud. The guards were still telling the others to be much
quieter, until they heard Ali struggling in Laval's arms. That's when it stopped, replaced by both heavily breathing.
"Its ok. Your alright. I wont hurt you." Laval said between breaths, stroking Ali's milky white hair.
They then walked in front of the two to see Ali better. Worriz felt her soft hair, and the others just talked in confusion.
They lifted Ali and carried her to the others. She was tired, and they knew. She went under as they took her to the Lion's
temple.
James stared hard at the fire like it would spit out a answer. How could he lose his little sister like this?
She was too young. Yah she was 19, but that's still too young to die. Jackson placed a hand on his shoulder.
"I'm sure she's in a better place now."
This didn't help James. He ran his fingers through his jet black hair. This would be a long night.
