Razar flew with Eris to the Lion Temple. It was a wild day yesterday, but maybe today would be straightened out.
When they landed, talk was all about the girl they found. Who was she? Where was she from? All these questions clouded every ones minds.
But inside where she was kept, things got weirder.
Ali woke to pain in the side of her head. They had her head!
She was screaming an hollering. Lion guards were trying to restrain her.
"Where is the prince?!"
"Get him back in he-"
Ali hit them both in the gut and ran out the room. Her torn jeans and shirt revealed much of her features personal, but she didn't care.
She needed to get out of this death trap.
"James! Mom!" She screamed at the hall ways.
Guards were racing to get her back into her room. Ali didn't know it, but she had a head wound and more than likely a concussion.
She made a sharp turn at a corner only to bump hard into a brood, muscular form.
"Man, you greet everyone like this?"
It was Laval.
Ali tried to crawl away from him in fear, but two guards hoisted her up. They knew she was only scared, but enough was enough.
They carried her back to her room while she still screamed. Laval followed, hoping he could calm her since he sort of did before.
The healer was there when they got back. Once on the bed, she had to be pinned. Laval knew it had to be embarrassing for the elder to see that.
But he understood her shock. Laval asked them to let him speak to her.
They reluctantly let her limbs go, and Let Laval get closer to her.
Ali remembered Laval from yesterday. She still tried to get away from him.
"It's ok. We aren't going to hurt you." He said to her slowly approaching her with his arms held up in peace.
Ali knew he meant he wasn't armed, but the guards had their Jabakas.
"Them. They have those pointy thingy's." She said pointing at the two guards.
Laval gestured for them to put down their Jabakas. They did as ordered, putting them down and holding up their hands. Even kicking them away.
Ali calmed down some more after that. She looked at the healer, to see he only had bandages. He was safe.
Laval crouched down in front of her.
"Your safe. The guards are trying to protect you."
"Ok."
Laval dismissed the guards. The two grabbed their Jabakas and took positions outside.
The healer got to work on her wound while Laval sat next to her.
"What's your name?"
"Ali Greendale."
"Hello Ali Greendale. I'm Laval."
"Why am I here?"
"You found you after the wreak back there. Remember?"
Ali nodded about that struggle.
"Where's my mom and brother?"
"I don't know. We think they and some other survivors went another way than you did."
"Survivors?"
Ali closed her eyes. She didn't remember survivors. She was alone, but if this Cat-man is right...
"What tribe are you from?"
"What?"
"What tribe are you from? What is the name of your people?"
"We aren't a tribe. We are just plane crash survivors."
"Ah that's what that machine was called?"
"Yeah. And we call ourselves, Humans."
"Humans..."
Never rang a bell, but Laval knew that they could use help.
They talked more until the elder was done.
"You should be fine in a few days my dear." He said placing a hand on her shoulder.
Ali just watched as he left. That's when Razar and Eris came in.
Both disarmed. Friendly. Don't know 'em. That's how it was for Ali.
Ali looked back to Laval who greeted his friends. Razar talked about how her hair looked like Eris's feathers.
Eris talked about all the studying they would get to do. Laval just sat and shook his head.
