After the song ended, Laval asked Ali a question he wondered about since he was not filled in about it.
"Where did you live before? I mean, what was it like?"
Ali tilted her head, thinking about a description of her home.
"Well, I lived in a two story house with my Mom and brother James. We had trails that went around the woods behind the house.
There was a pond, I had a tree house and-"
"Tree house?"
"Yeah. Small place to hang out in a tree. Had electricity so I could play on my computer and Dsi for hours."
"Fascinating."
A howl made their heads turn to see Worriz and the Mother wolf coming their way from behind.
"Hey Laval. Your father told me to come get you both home."
"Alright."
Ali walked through the garden of the temple. It was full of beautiful flowers and statues.
Her black clothes stood out like white crayon on black paper as she walked through, but her white hair stood out the most.
Until she crouched down to smell some white rose like flowers, did she somewhat blend.
She then moved on to some flowers that looked a lot like a few planted in her yard. They were orange, yellow, red and pink.
"What did I call these?" She said, rummaging through memory.
"Ah! Lion Tails!" She said aloud.
She then looked around, hoping no lion heard that. Letting out a sigh of relief, she gazed upon them more.
The red ones reminded her of Laval, like if you just cut a lock of his mane out, glued it to a plant and stuck it here.
She began to feel warm just thinking of him. She remembered his sweet amber eyes, childish stature, and brawny features.
Her heart beat increased as thoughts of these raced.
"Oh gosh..." She said smiling like a itiot.
Laval strolled through the halls of the temple. He couldn't shake his mind of warm thoughts of Ali.
"I have to ask her some time soon..." He said to himself.
He struggled to think of other things. But failed. He decided sleep would help.
He changed out of his clothes into what he normally slept in and plopped into bed.
Closing his eyes he gave sleep a chance to take place. He only squinted his closed eyes, moaned, and tossed back and forth.
These thought clouded his mind till sleep did come.
The morning was bright on Laval's just woken eyes.
"Dang, darn sun..."
He hated mornings. But he got up changed his clothes and went to get breakfast.
Ali was already down there drinking some juice of some sort. She didn't know what it was.
He sat groggily on the chair and laid his head in his arms on the table. Ali giggled at it. Then she shivered from a cool breeze.
"I'm kinda cold."
"Me cold too." Laval said half asleep.
