Author's Notes: Thank you so much for supporting me. Your reviews encourage me to finish another chapter. I tried my best to put in some ghost pepper in this story to spice everything up. Hehehe. Anyways, thank you for reading.

Phillip stared at her without saying anything. All of this time, he had been waiting for his beloved sister to come back to her conscious. He knew she would wake up no matter what but he had not expected the result to become this way.

"You… don't know me? I'm your brother, Phillip!" he confessed.

Lillian shook her head and replied, "No, I do not know you. You say you are my brother, right?"

Phillip took a deep breath and exhaled loudly. He put his hand on his forehead and gazed at Lillian.

"Oh gosh… I can't… Please tell me I'm dreaming…" Phillip mumbled. He turned to Laney and frowned. "Blondy, tell me I'm dreaming."

Lillian tilted her head. Her eyes fixed on the blonde.

"Blondy…? Is that your name?" Lillian asked.

"You don't remember me? Did you completely lost all of your memories..?" Laney replied.

"Memories…. What is that? Can you tell me what it means?"

Laney observed the girl carefully as if to look for hints that she might be faking. The patient was completely clueless about her surroundings.

"You really did lose your memories…" Laney murmured.

"Blondy! I told you to tell me I'm dreaming! You're not making it any better!" Phillip yelled.

"Too bad! You're not! She got amnesia. Deal with it!"

Phillip fell down to the ground and hugged his legs. He hid his face on his knee and began making sobbing noises.

"Women are so mean! So cold and heartless," He stated. "I feel depress…"

"You're face was already depressing enough," Laney replied.

Phillip stood up and squinted at her.

"I'm not going to be burn by you today!" Phillip declared before he walked out the door. "I'm going to get the doctor. Stay there."

He paused before exiting and turned back to Laney.

"Blondy, don't you dare lay a finger on my sister. Notes this in your head, I will protect Lillian. I won't let her get hurt. Got it?"

With that, he left the room calling for a doctor. Laney stood by the confused girl and sighed.

"I don't need to anymore. My wedding with Cam will be a week from today, anyways," Laney murmured.

"Yeah… So the doctor told me Lillian had amnesia. She had damaged her temporal lobe resulting in losing some of her past knowledge and creating a change in her personalities," Phillip explained.

Friends of Lillian had gathered to the hospital when they found out about her waking from Phillip. They were excited to see her as healthy as before but were shocked when they discovered her condition. On the other side, the confusing patient was half frightened when the new guests surrounded her. She tucked on her brother's shirt and frowned.

"Why are they here, brother?" Lillian asked.

Phillip held his sister's hand to calm her down. He smiled to put her at ease.

"They are your friends. They have been waiting for you to wake up," He replied.

"Friends? Hello… friends…" Lillian waved at her guests with a small smile.

Nori couldn't stand it anymore. She misses Lillian daily ever since she fell into a coma. It was so lonely in the mansion without her. Without even thinking, she hugged Lillian as tight as she could and cried.

"You don't know me, Lillian? I'm Nori! We work together every day!"

Lillian screamed in fear. She pushed Nori away and pulled her brother's shirt, hinting him to help her.

"B-brother! She is scary!"

Nori immediately let her friend go and ran out the room. She was too upset to control the tears that were threatened to spill.

"Sorry about that, Lillian. Nori was just sad because you don't remember her," Ash said.

Lillian took a peek at the strange boy behind her brother's back. He carried a kind smile that made her cheek flushed. Suddenly, her head began to ache. Many scenarios were rushing back to her but she couldn't see it clearly. Someone had scared her by forcing her to move to another desk. Someone had saved her from drowning in a pool. Someone had always loved her long hair. Someone had told her a story of the past. Someone had held her hand. Someone had kissed her that night in the rain. Someone who had told her 'I love you'. That person's face was blurred out. She couldn't see that someone but she knew it was the person she once loved the most.

"Are you okay, Lillian? You look tired," Ash asked.

Lillian stared at him and smiled. It was him, she thought, he is for sure that person I saw in my head. What if he is the one I loved in the past? She nodded her head and replied, "I am okay."

"That's good to hear."

Phillip scanned the guests. Someone important was missing from the group.

"Where's Cam? He's the first person I called and I would expect him to be the first one here," Phillip asked.

"I thought he was here. He called me earlier to tell me the news about Lillian," Ash replied.

"Same here, I got the information from Nori from Cam," Kana added.

Phillip looked a bit concerned. Cam had visited Lillian every single day for the past four years in waiting for her to wake up. Now that she did, he was not here.

"He's probably being held back by his mother for the plans of his upcoming wedding with Laney."

"Laney? Is that the blonde girl with a terrifying make-up? She declared to me this morning that Cam was her fiancé," Phillip replied to Ash.

"It's true. Cam's stepmother made an arrange marriage for him and Laney. Their wedding will occur on Wednesday next week."

Phillip sighed. "I think I'm going to be as confused as my sister."

Nori watched Cam leaning against the wall outside of Lillian's room. His face filled with sadness as he listened to the conversations and the voice of one girl with memory loss.

"Cam… what are you doing out here? Go visit Lillian," Nori said.

Cam put his index finger on his lip and shook his head. He forced a small smiled and whispered, "It's better this way. I will be out of her life from this moment and on."

"Don't say that. She'll remember you. Don't push yourself too hard and go see her," Nori suggested.

Cam once again shook his head. He tried his best to be happy behind his fake smile.

"I'm glad she didn't. She's giving herself a chance to start over and find someone new. Besides, I'm getting married to Laney very soon. Everything will go on and no one will get hurt. I think I did the right choice," Cam replied.

Honestly, his heart was torn apart with the decision he had to make. No matter how much he had longing to see her lively face again, he couldn't bring himself to do it. It would just break him even more than the broken state he was in now.

"But you loved Lillian! How could you just... give up like that?" Nori frowned.

"Because I love her, I have to let her go. Let her have a new start that will only bring her happiness."

"But you will be the one to get hurt!"

Cam slowly walked away from Lillian's room. "That's fine," he murmured.
