Hello everyone! Hope you're having a good week! I didn't expect so many reviews on the last chapter so thanks so much for that! It made me really happy. You guys are seriously awesome.

"Tell us again what happened!" Bea demanded rather impatiently.

"I already told you everything, twice!" I exclaimed.

Austin and I had finished cleaning up the craft place a little while ago. I went straight to Megan and Bea's cabin so they could help me get rid of all the paint. It only took one shower and a lot of soap to get all the paint off my skin but my hair was being more stubborn. The girls are currently doing the third round of conditioner on me, and basically haven't stopped asking me about what happened with Austin.

"It's not my fault you guys are so darn cute!" Bea gushed.

I rolled my eyes but couldn't help the smile from spreading on my face.

"It was just our usual innocent teasing and flirting. Nothing new there. We had a paint fight and got in trouble, no big deal though. I don't know what else you are looking for." I laughed lightly.

"He liked your outfit though right?" Megan asked in all seriousness.

So glad we're all on the same page right now.

"Oh I'm pretty sure he more than liked it." I nodded with a smirk.

They instantly shrieked in excitement and I won't deny that I joined in.

"But next time do you think you two could try not making a mess! Because seriously the paint in your hair is taking forever to get out." Bea said a little frustrated.

"Sorry." I said sheepishly.

"Kids I tell you." Megan shook her head.

"They grow up so fast." Bea said.

They pretended to wipe away fake tears from their eyes.

"Would you two cut it out?" I laughed and rolled my eyes at them.

"That is no way to talk to us young lady!" Megan gasped.

"We do not appreciate that tone either!" Bea scolded.

"When did you two decide you were my new annoying parents?" I asked with a questioning look.

"Since you decided to like that no good Austin Moon!" Bea argued.

I don't even know what was happening right now.

"We got to protect our little baby." Megan nodded in agreement.

"I'm like three months older than you." I stated matter of factually.

"That's not the point." Megan defended back.

Oh gosh, sometimes I really worried about these two.

"I think I got the last of the paint out!" Bea happily interrupted.

"Finally." I said gratefully.

They quickly rinsed the last of the paint and conditioner out of my hair in the bathroom sink. I was so thankful they restored my hair back to its natural chestnut brown color. Purple and red just weren't the right colors for me. We were using a towel to pat dry my hair a bit when my phone started to ring.

We all looked back and forth between each other, all having a really good guess as to who it could possibly be on the other end. They dropped their towels and bolted to my bag before I had enough time to tell them no.

"Don't even think about it!" I shouted, running after them.

"Too late!" Bea laughed as Megan hit the answer button on the screen.

I was actually going to kill them.

"Hi Austin!" They giggled into the phone together.

"Uh, hi?" he laughed from the other end.

I snatched the phone from their hands and brought it to my ear before they could say anything else.

"Hey, sorry. That was just Megan and Bea." I explained as I glared at them.

"It's ok." He laughed again.

"Put it on speaker!" Bea told me.

"No!" I shouted.

"What?" Austin asked clearly confused.

"Nothing. Anyways what are you calling about?" I asked.

"Put it on speaker or you're grounded." Megan threatened.

"Well I wa-"

"Sorry Austin, just hold that thought for like one second please." I interrupted him mid-sentence.

I heard something like a faint "ok" but I couldn't be too sure. I pressed my phone into my chest to make sure what I was about to say would be muffled.

"Did I miss the memo or something about you guys being my parents because I sure don't remember getting one!" I exclaimed.

"Just do it!" Bea demanded.

Boy were they ever stubborn and not to mention annoying at the most inconvenient of times.

"Ugh! Fine!" I groaned in defeat.

I brought the phone away from my chest and pressed the speaker button.

"Ally?" his voice filling up the whole room.

"Sorry… again." I said through gritted teeth as I shot the girls another glare.

"So you were saying?" I gently reminded.

"I was just calling to see if you were all cleaned up yet. I just finished getting all the paint out of my hair so I thought I'd call and check up on you." he said.

"AWE!" Bea and Megan gushed in unison.

You know for being my so called parents they definitely got the embarrassing part down.

"You guys are ruining my life!" I whispered overdramatically.

If I'm going to be their teenage daughter I might as well play the part, right?

I quickly turned my attention back to the rather cute blond on the other side on the conversation.

"Yeah I actually just finished cleaning up too." I told him.

"So let's meet up at the lake in like fifteen then?" he suggested.

"Sounds perfect!" I smiled although he couldn't see it.

"Are Megan and Bea coming too?" he asked.

"Oh we are definitely coming!" Bea shouted from across the room.

"Don't make me take it off speaker!" I threatened in a whisper shout.

That shut them up.

"Great!" he laughed.

"I assume the guys are coming too then?" I asked.

"Yes they are. And by the way, I'm still mad at you for messing up my hair. That's like my best feature!" he laughed although I'm sure it was supposed to make me feel bad.

"I wouldn't say it's your best feature…" I teased lightly.

Hey it wasn't a lie. I could think of A LOT of other things that make him so attractive than just his hair.

"Oh yeah? Like what?" he challenged.

I could just picture the smirk he has on his face right now.

"Well for starters, your eyes are probably your best feature but hair is definitely a close second." I admitted truthfully.

I looked over to see Megan and Bea making kissy faces and me and drawing imaginary hearts in the air around them. All I could do was roll my eyes at them and mouth "cut it out" to them. of course that didn't stop them though.

"Is that so?" he teased.

"Yeah." I giggled.

"Uh sorry to interrupt this little thing you got going on, which by the totally cute but I'd like to get to the lake before next summer." Megan interrupted.

I nervously laughed it off but thank god we weren't talking in person because there is no way I'd be able to hide the crimson color on my cheeks right now.

"Guys!" I shouted.

"I'll see you in a bit ok." He laughed through the phone.

"BYE AUSTIN!" Megan and Bea shouted which was followed by many giggles.

"Bye." I groaned in complete and utter embarrassment.

"Bye Als."

And with that the other end of the line went silent, which meant he had hung up.

"You guys are the worst friends ever!" I groaned.

"Just go finish getting ready. We don't have all day you know." Bea laughed.

I made my way to the bathroom to fix my damp hair. It would dry wavy buy I really didn't mind. I put on my bikini and some fresh, not covered in paint clothes. I made sure I had all of my stuff before we headed out the door.

"Promise you won't do anything embarrassing when we get down there." I told them as we walked.

"Fine." Bea nodded in agreement.

"And that includes not acting like my parents either." I warned.

"But-" Megan whined.

"No buts. I mean it!" I interjected.

"Ok." She frowned.

We arrived at the lake within a couple of minutes and it was no surprise to see the boys already there.

"Fashionable late I see, as always." Austin teased as we walked up to them.

"Nice to see you too, Austin." Megan retorted.

He laughed at her comment and I might have joined in.

"Ok well us girls are going to tan while you boys do whatever it is you boys do." Bea said before pulling me in the opposite direction.

You'd be stupid if you think I wasn't going to take this opportunity to tease Austin. He doesn't really try to make his staring very discreet either so I might as well take advantage of it. I casually took of my shorts and shirt, the anticipation secretly killing him. I wore my cute bikini that made me look amazing in every way you could think of just for him but that was something he'd never know. Once my top layer clothes had been discarded and my swim suit was revealed his jaw basically hit the sand.

"Austin is totally checking you out." Bea giggled as we set up our little area.

"Oh I know." I laughed with her.

We went about our business, us girls tanning and the boys being boys. I think they were alternating from playing Frisbee to wresting each other but I was too occupied staring at Austin to know for sure. But I'm not the only guilty person here. Every once and a while I'd catch Austin staring at me too. I guess I was just sneakier than him.

"If you guys don't do something other than gaze into each other's eyes I'm going puke." Megan said, interrupting my thoughts.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"You know exactly what I mean! God just go talk to him already." Megan continued, slightly annoyed but I wasn't too sure.

"It's not that easy. He's with the guys." I pointed out a little timid all of a sudden.

"Do we have to do everything for you?" Bea asked.

"I think I'm good right here. I can tease him without even having to talk to him!" I exclaimed.

"Friendly reminder he's still dating Cassidy and not you. I don't think the teasing game is doing you one up." Bea stated.

"Stop being a little girl and start being the confident woman I know you are! Now go talk to him." Megan said, forcing me to stand up.

They pulled me to my feet and pushed me into his direction. They sure are persistent.

"Hey Austin." I greeted with a shy wave of my hand.

"Hey!" he smiled.

"Come in the lake with me." I told him, feeling a bit more confident all of a sudden.

I think my forwardness took him back a little.

"Sure." He said.

We walked into the water about ankle deep. It wasn't freezing but it did have a chill to it. I looked up at him to find that he was staring down at me and smiling.

"What?" I asked.

"Your hair." He stated simply.

Panic quickly filled every inch of my insides. Was it really that bad?!

"Oh god, I know it's kind of a frizzy mess." I said a little embarrassed.

He probably thought I looked like some untamed beast with my hair. Ok maybe that was an exaggeration but it's pretty frizzy. I tried to casually fix any out of place strands. But what surprised me was that he grabbed my hands and pulled them away from my hair. To be honest I completely forgot the reason why my hands were up there as soon as we made contact. He brought them down to my sides but he didn't let go.

"No, no. I like it." he reassured.

"Really?" I asked a little shocked.

"Yeah." He nodded.

My heart was beating so loud I think people on the other side of the lake could hear it.

"Not that I don't like your hair other ways, I just don't see your waves as much anymore." He smiled again.

After all, he was right. I stopped letting my hair be wild once I decided it was time to give myself a makeover for my teenage years. It's not as bad as it used to be anymore but it does make me self-conscious sometimes so I try not to go out into public too often with my natural hair. But god, it would be so much easier to not like him if he wasn't so sweet.

"Thanks." I smiled back.

I suddenly found it hard to look at him so my eyes fell to my toes which were submerged in the cool water. In fact from the waist down was submerged in the water. I didn't realize we had walked in so far.

"Do we have to keep standing in here because honestly it's freezing?!" he asked breaking the silence.

"Can't take a little cold can you?" I teased.

"No, I can't!" he whined.

I rolled my eyes at him. He's more dramatic than me.

"Alright Blondie lets go." I laughed.

He splashed me as we started the walk back.

"Stop calling me that!" he groaned.

"I love it though, it totally suits you!" I joked.

He splashed me again but this time I fought back. I started to run away so he couldn't keep splashing me but he grabbed my waist to stop me from going anywhere.

"Austin!" I squealed as he picked me up of the shallow bit of water.

I suddenly had no contact with the ground but I sure had a lot of contact with Austin right now. My chest was flushed and pressed tight to his, his arms engulfed my whole upper body.

"Say you're sorry!" he laughed, still holding me.

"Fine! I'm sorry…. that you're such a baby!" I teased some more.

"That's it!" he half growled.

I screamed in response and he just shook his head. He put me back down to do who knows what so I tried to push him away as my defense. It kind of worked as he started to lose his balance, but he grabbed my arm as he fell backwards so he pulled me down with him.

We fell to the shallowest of areas with a hard thump, but his body softened my own fall. Our eyes fell to each other, our gazes locking. I bit my lip nervously, but also because our faces were dangerously close and I had to resist the urge to just kiss him. The water just barely splashed over his legs that's how close to shore we had fallen at. We basically were on the shore. So I'm sure lots of people were looking at us right now but I wasn't going to look away from his eyes just to see. I didn't care about anyone else but him in this exact moment.

"Are you ok?" he whispered as he tucked a few wet strands of hair out of my face.

"Yeah." I nodded.

He gave a look that was too familiar and I wasn't sure if I should be nervous or scared or happy or what. The look was sort of like déjà vu. Remember when we almost kissed but I stopped it? Well this was that same look and feeling. Maybe I shouldn't stop it this time. There's only so long before I won't be able to resist those temptatious lips of his. One taste is all I want. One taste is all I need. It won't kill me to right? But if his lips are anything like his smile and laugh and sparkling eyes, then I'll instantly be addicted to them too.

And my addiction for him has gotten way too strong.

I was so close to his chest that I could hear his own heartbeat. The crazy part was that I could feel it beating in perfect synch with mine. The feeling was magic and beyond anything I knew. I wonder if he knew my heart was in synch with his too. I sure hope he did. I guess it's true though. Just like laughter, hearts can also beat in perfect synchronization.

Trust me, you'd think this moment couldn't get any more perfect too. Our faces were so close that our foreheads were resting against one another and our lips were just hovering. The only sounds were the crashes of the water, our own breath hot against each other's skin and our hearts beating together as one.

But trust me I couldn't have been more wrong.

"Austin, are you ok?!"

I knew that venomous voice way too well.

Austin and I jumped at the loud shrieks which cause me to fall off his chest and roll onto the other side of him. I guess I didn't have to stop another kiss because that witch just did it for me. Seriously, where the hell did she even come from?! She could seriously be a witch if she can just appear wherever and whenever she wants. I wouldn't be surprised.

Oh god, I'm so dead.

Cassidy rushed to his side and I couldn't even stand to look at her.

"Cassidy! What are you doing here?" he asked a little confused.

Trust me, we were all confused.

"Can't I surprise my boyfriend?" she teased, hitting his shoulder lightly.

She shot me a quick glare and I resisted the urge to just smack her right across the face. I really wish this was some awful nightmare so that I could just pinch myself back to reality.

"Of course! I'm definitely surprised to see you." he reassured her.

I felt really forgotten right now and I wasn't sure if that should make me relieved or mad.

"I was on my way over to you when I saw you fall so I rushed right over." She explained to him.

He nodded his head to signal that he understood now.

"That looked like a pretty nasty fall." she said, pretending to be all sweet and lovey.

She went to help him up and I rolled my eyes at her. Ugh I think I was going to puke.

"I'm ok, really babe." he reassured as he got to his feet.

I just kind of sat there, too shocked and angry and a lot of other things to force myself to get up. I tried to pinch myself a couple times but nothing different was happening.

Yup, this was a real life nightmare I happened to be living in right now.

"I'm so glad to hear that!" she smiled, throwing her arms around him and kissing his cheek.

My heart sunk to all new low.

Please god, just get me out of this horrible mess!

But I guess I wasn't complete forgotten because when I looked up I saw Austin's hand out to help me up and Cassidy standing behind him looking absolutely pissed. I took his hand gratefully as he helped me back to my feet.

"Thanks." I smiled at him.

"Well now that I've got my two favorite girls here it's going to be double the fun, right?" he said as he put one arm around my shoulders and the other around Cassidy's as we started walking.

"Right!" Cassidy said through gritted teeth.

"Yeah." I fake smiled.

"I'll be back in a bit ok. The boys are begging for a round of football right now and I can't say no. You two girls do whatever it is girls do, ok?" he told us.

Please, PLEASE don't leave me alone with her!

"Don't be long!" she winked and blew him a kiss.

I'm really surprised I just don't puke on her.

She waited until he was far out of ear shot to start raging on me.

"When are you going to learn?!" she started, already furious.

Here we go… again.

"I'm sorry your boyfriend forced me here. You can't control the fact that he still wants to hang out with me!" I defended myself.

"I warned you what would happen if you continued to see him and now you're going to get every promise I made." She spat.

"Well it's your fault I'm even here! He thinks I'm avoiding him because of you!" I rolled my eyes at her.

"And you're doing a terrible job! Just be prepared for the worst to come. I'm not going easy on you, and if you were smart you won't even do as much as look at him when this is over, got it?" she threatened.

"What makes you think you can push me around like this? I'm not just some doll your daddy bought you." I insulted.

"Sweetie I own everyone. And you're stupid if you think you can win at my own game." She hissed.

"I'm going to leave now before I do something I'll really regret." I said as I stood up.

"Finally. At least I know you've got a brain in that head of yours." She grinned wickedly.

Mom always said if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say at all, so I didn't say anything back. Instead I just walked away with the last bit of sanity I had left in me.

You heard her. I have an actual reason to be scared for my life now. I don't want to do as much as leave my cabin now. God only knows all the awful things she has in store for me. I have no plan, no dignity, and no control. What am I going to do now?

Well shit. Sorry but I actually hate Cassidy so much and that was really painful to write! The cute Auslly moments are what got me through this to be honest. I'm warning you all right now that the next chapter is probably going to be the most heart breaking for you to read. It's going to suck for me to write. Please leave a review for me to read, and tell me your favorite parts! I love you guys and thanks so much for reading!
