"I'm sorry young master but I cannot let you pass here. Mistress Kamiru had ordered us to keep you from having contact with that girl," a security guard warned. Two of them stopped Cam from running any farther as soon as he was a few meters away from the church's door.

"Get out of my way!" Cam demanded.

"I'm sorry we cannot do that."

"I'll pay you double the price that woman give you."

"You cannot bribe us as we only serve our mistress," the security guard replied.

There was definitely no way to convince those underdogs of that woman. They were sure loyal to her. Cam decided to ignore them and ran but they stopped him.

"Young master, please be obedient for the sake of that girl's safety."

The blonde boy paused as the words rang through his ears. That woman was up to no good again and it involved Lillian this time.

"What are you talking about?" the young master asked.

The security guard sighed and dialed a number on his phone. It rang a few times then someone answered.

"Hello?"

"This is Security Dan speaking, how is Miss Lillian?" The security guard asked.

"W-where are you taking me, Mister Stranger? Did I do something to make you mad?" Lillian cried from the other line. Anger swelled up inside Cam. The woman and her dogs were going too far. How low could they get?

"Bastard! What are you doing to her?!"

"I asked you, young master, to be obedient and the girl won't get hurt. Please listen to us and get back to the mansion. I also suggest you to not speak any of this event to other outsiders for any further risk of the girl's life. "

The young master had no choice but to listen. He once again had put Lillian in a danger situation. If only he confessed his true feeling to her earlier, this wouldn't have happened.

"This is outrageous! All because of you and your brother, I lost the opportunity to obtain Howard's fortune!" Mrs. Kamiru barked.

"Outrageous? Opportunity…? Fortune? What do those words mean?" Lillian replied, not minding the fact that her hands were tied behind her back.

"… you don't know what those words mean? Are you stupid?" The woman observed Lillian's face carefully, wondering if she was just acting.

"..no… you see, when I woke up, I lost all of my memories. Phillip told me he was my brother so I trusted him. It made me sad. I did not know anyone. There are some words I cannot understand. My head hurts a lot trying to think. The person named Cam, I felt like I knew him and I remembered him but the images were kind of fuzzy."

An evil grin ran across Mrs. Kamiru's face, like she had an idea. An idea to separate the couple apart. She could add a few false information to mix up the girl's memories to make her side against Cam and her allies. What if she could trick that girl to agree to leave this place and go somewhere far away? That would be a great idea!

"Aww, poor thingy. I'll help you remember everyone!" The woman exclaimed with fake sympathy.

"Really?! Will you do that? Brother won't tell me anything. He said I have to remember it myself."

"Ah, no no, sweet heart. You mustn't trust that man! Phillip is the man that torn your family apart. He separated you and your parents!"

"B-but Phillip told me our parents passed away because of an accident a long time ago. He is my only relative now," Lillian replied.

"Oh! He had been lying to you this whole time! Don't trust that man, you hear me? I'll tell you who he really is," The woman said, grinning. "Phillip is a bad man. He goes around lying to people and steals their money. He tricked your parents to going bankrupt then kidnapped you. Every single day, he forced you to work and torture you for entertainments. Shame on him. I bet you he was the person behind your accident. Phillip probably hired a truck driver to run into you."

"N-no way, Phillip would not do that! He is a nice person!"

"That's what he wanted you to think since you lost all of your memories. So don't believe everything he said because he is lying to you. And about Cam, my dear."

"C-cam…?"

"He doesn't love you anymore. You heard him said so yourselves didn't you? He's so in love with that blonde girl that he had probably forgotten all the love for you. Cam will surely live a happily ever after with her then forget your existence."

"I-I guess he already forgot about me…" Lillian replied weakly.

"But don't worry, you should leave behind your memories of him and live with you parents!" The woman suggested.

"My parents…?"

"Yes, sweet heart, they are still alive but they live far from here."

Mrs. Kamiru smiled and hugged Lillian. She gently patted the girl's back to give her some comforts.

"Where are my parents…?"

"They're currently the residents of Echo Village which is a thousand miles away from here," The woman answered.

Lillian became quiet as if she was lost in thought. She didn't know whether she should trust this middle age lady or not. Nothing that nice lady said seemed to ring a bell. Her head is slowly aching, not knowing what was true.

"If you really want to see them again, I can send you to Echo Village tomorrow. Just think about how happy you will be after reunite with them! They'll be overflow with joys as well! What do you say?"

Were this woman's words true? Was Phillip lying to her this whole time? Who was the liar? Which memories were right and which were wrong? Lillian couldn't tell. Even though, she did not know what her parents look like, her heart felt missing them dearly. If the lady's words were true, Lillian wanted to see her family again.

"I…—"

Author's Notes: I have a confession D: Truthfully, I was going to end the story with a simple ending but I came up with another idea. Why not add more spice to the story instead of ending it so plainly :D a lot of cliff hangers will occur in the few new next chapters. I hope you won't be mad at me for doing this to you. Thank you for continue reading Liar.
