"Hey mister creeper…" Lillian mumbled. "You said you are not a creeper

but you said you are a secret admirer. That means a creeper, right?"

"You don't know what a secret admirer is? I thought your brain was a little brighter."

"…Brother said I lost my memories due to an accident…"

"Ahh.. that's right, you never went to school again after that accident," Shane replied. He sighed and stretched his arms up into the air. "Well, a secret admirer is a person who admires you in secret."

Lillian tilted her head. His definition was even more confusing. A person who admires you in secret? What is that? It still sounded like a secret creeper to her.

"You are not saying it clearly to me."

"Hmmm… to put I simply, it means a person who like you secretly." Shane scratched his head awkwardly. "But uhhh you know… me being your secret admirer was a long time ago… four years ago."

"Oh…"

There was a moment of silence. Lillian watched the glowing red and orange radiance sinking to the ground. The sky seemed so peaceful with white puffy clouds floating freely high above.

"Is there anything else you want me to answer?" Shane interrupted the silence.

"Why do you look like those mister strangers that work for the lady? She is a bad person. Do you think she is bad?"

"The 'mister strangers' you called are security guards. It doesn't matter who is good or bad. Everyone is a bad person. No one really cares about what their boss is like as long as he or she can pay them a good amount. I know she's a cruel woman, drowning with greed but I don't care. Working under her is a beneficial job."

Lillian scowled and pinched Shane's cheeks.

"My brother is not a bad person! He is a good person! My friends are, too!" She protested. "You are not a bad person either!"

The guard faced her with a smirk on his face.

"What about Cam? Is he a bad person to you?" he asked.

Lillian cast her gaze to the ground with a frown. She didn't want to hear the name Cam as it only brought her a mysterious pain in her heart. She didn't know whether she was angry or sad that he had stopped loving her and loved someone else. It was just a mixture of both. Lillian knew it was wrong of her to feel that way but she couldn't help it. She nodded her head implying "yes".

"Ahh… so your heart doesn't have a place for him anymore?"

He slowly pushed his body toward her, making her backed a few steps.

"Does that give me a chance to finally be able to steal your heart?" Shane continued.

With her gaze focusing on his, he immediately stuck his hand in her pocket and pulled out a small device.

"Oh! What is that? Why is it in my pocket?" Lillian asked, tilting her head.

Shane clicked his tongue and stomped on the device. He turned his head right and left, checking for any followers.

"That was a GPS. It tracks where you are. Mistress Kamiru must had have slipped it in your pocket to keep a close watch on you. We better go now before she finds us. "

"Can we go look for my brother? I miss him," Lillian asked.

"Your brother is being pursued right now. It's safer for you to stay with me. I'll return you to your brother if I find any information about him."

"Being pursued? What does that mean?"

"It means he's being chased by the security guards," Shane answered.

"Then we should go save him!" Lillian suggested. She struck a super hero pose toward the direction that they came from. "Let's go!"

"Not so fast!" Shane grabbed the girl's shoulders. "I'm not letting you go back and get capture again."

"But—"

"Be a little smarter. Your brother will be fine."

"Oh… if you say so. I will believe you."

Cam stopped to catch his breath as the text, "Error: Location undefined", suddenly appeared on the screen. He was more frustrated as ever. Not only had he been clueless about Lillian's situation but he had also completely lost track of her. Oh, how such a fool he was! How could he be so stupid to think that what he had done was the best for her? As the result, he made her suffer even more. Cam sighed and stared at the map again, tracing back to where Lillian last disappeared.

A small smile on his face and a big hope in his chest. He knew where she might be heading to. His feet began racing each other, toward that special place that held his dearest memories.

There she was, walking on the road above a big stream of river, where pink carnations bloomed.

"Lillian!" Cam called out, catching his breath once again. For a moment, his eyes almost watered at the sight of the person he missed so much.

"Cam…? Is that you?" Lillian mumbled. She took a step forward then another but Shane pulled her back, hugging her softly against his chest.

"You're… Shane… what do you think you're doing?" Cam said angrily.

A smirk on his face, Shane replied, "I'm doing something you should have done but you couldn't, to protect her."

"I-"

"Getting speechless there, Cam? Just so you know, I'm just protecting her from bad people like you."

Lillian took a glance at Cam. Honestly, she was happy to see him yet she was still upset and angry. She studied his features at the distance. His blonde hair stuck out from place to place. Sweats ran down his red face as if he was running for miles. To summarize it, he was a total mess but Lillian found it cute in a way. Get that out of your head! Lillian protested in her mind. He loves someone else! He does not love me anymore.

"So there is no place for you to be here. Get away from her," Shane added.

"Sorry but I can't do that. She wants to be with me," Cam replied with confidence.

"We'll see." The guard smirked and turned to the girl beside him. "I know you think I had only known you for one day but I want to tell you something. I am still your secret admire even if it was four years ago. If you choose me, I'll take you to your brother and make sure he is safe. And I promise I'll protect you better than Cam. Will you be with me? Or with him?" with a smile, he backed away, leaving Lillian in the center between the two boys.

Cam caught Lillian gazing at him for a few minutes. His heart pounded almost out of his chest. He was anxious for her answer. Her footsteps came toward him only in his imagination. She was still where she was. Her head turned to Shane then back to Cam.

Cam widened his eyes as he watched Lillian taking a step further away from him. She had not chosen him.
