Thank you so much for the wonderful reviews about last chapter! You guys make me so happy every time i read them! The amount of love you send me is overwhelming, thank you. So as I promised I'm going to update from my phone for the week. It also means I can't tell how long these chapters will be so I apologize in advance if they're a lot shorter than normal.

My mom was a little mad at first for having to drive all the way here just for me to tell her I wanted to stay. Austin being his usual polite and cute self, apologized many times to my mother by saying it was his fault. But she quickly got over it, glad to see that Austin and I were more than ok. She promised she'd be back to get me in four days when camp was actually over, and unfortunately had to leave ASAP if she wanted to make it back to work on time.
As for Cassidy, well that was a whole other story.
A few minutes after my mother left, Megan and Bea ran towards Austin and I with frantic expressions written on their faces.
"Are you two ok?" I asked when they finally approached us.
"No time to talk, just come on!" Megan shouted in response.
Austin raised an eyebrow at the girls and laughed a little.
It wasn't until Megan and Bea pulled Austin and I in the opposite direction that I realized we'd been holding hands. Their tugs on us resulted in us having to break them apart and I frowned a little at the loss of contact I had quickly grown used to.
"Would you two slow down?!" I asked as they practically dragged us along.
"Do they always do this?" Austin asked me.
"Sadly, yeah!" I hoped they'd sense the annoyance in my voice, but they just completely ignored me.
"So I take it you got Ally to stay!" Bea cheered to Austin as they lead us along.
"I told you it would work." Megan smirked in satisfactory at him.
"Good job, really! Maybe you aren't too horribly stupid after all." Bea smiled at him.
He rolled his eyes at the two and I was a bit confused at first. Figures Megan and Bea have been playing fairy god mothers for Austin and I because really when aren't they. I guess they had been very much involved in motivating him and the thought made me smile widely. It's sweet that they care so much about us, you know?
"It was a piece of cake." He joked lightly.
"Seriously? Because that's not how i remember it." I stated with a roll of my eyes at him and a small laugh.
"We'll it's not my fault you're so stubborn!" He said defending himself.
"You are so full of yourself." I teased.
"Whatever. I also remember you kissing me..." He added.
"Ally you kissed him?!" The two girls shrieked in excitement.
"He kissed me first!" I defended myself.
"We're so talking about this later!" Bea squealed excitedly.
"Is there anything you two don't know?!" Austin asked.
"Nope." Megan smiled.
"Wow! Wait to go big mouth!" Austin pretended to be upset and lightly hit my shoulder.
"I am slightly offended right now." I smiled widely, not being able to play a long very well.
"You're so cute when you're angry." He winked.
I felt myself blushing, my whole face flushed with color.
"Please get a room!" Bea muttered under her breath at us.
Austin and I really didn't care enough to turn our attention on to her.
"Ok this is great and all but could you two stop flirting for like two minutes, this is important." Megan said, interrupting our playful banter.
"Sorry." We chorused together.
"Where are we even going?" Austin asked, changing the subject away from us.
"You'll see. Trust us, we're doing everyone a favor." Bea and Megan exchanged knowing looks and smiles and suddenly Austin and I felt very much out of the loop.
"Is everyone here so vague with things or?!" He exclaimed in frustration, still walking to nowhere.
I laughed a little, knowing I was one of those people he had just referred too.
"Calm down! Just a few people are expecting all four of us somewhere right now. And being punctual is must because it's really important." Bea explained a little to us, still being very unhelpful though.
"Why is this so important?" I asked with a confused tone.
"Don't worry, you'll understand in a minute anyways because we're here now." Megan announced.
I looked at the little building in front of us. This place was of the less familiar ones to me at camp, as I didn't come here ever. But nonetheless I still knew of the place, and that's why I was really confused. Why had they brought us here?
"Why are we at the camp director/councilor main building?" I asked them with a confused expression.
This place was like the equivalent of a teachers lounge or hang out at a school. It's where all the adults here at the camp discussed the important manners of the place and it's people. I really would like to know why we are here to begin with.
"You two sure ask a lot of questions." Megan commented as we walked inside.
That still didn't answer my question though. I whined in frustration and Austin gave me a sympathetic look. My lips instantly pulled into a smile and I watched his do the same. It instantly made me feel better about this. Maybe we could quickly sneak away from the two and be alone again or something! We still had a lot to talk about and it's not our fault Megan and Bea were currently dragging us to some place! I just want to be alone with him right now but that can't happen under their wing.
They led us to a room, which I assumed was an office. Who's office though i wasn't sure. Probably a camp director's I'd assume. Megan and Bea hurriedly opened the door, pulling us in right behind them. We, well mostly I stumbled in and Austin was quick to steady me before I brought more embarrassment on myself than I already had. Thank god for him or I'd be even more of a wreck. In the room were three camp directors. One was Carol and she was seated behind the desk, so I assumed this must be her office. Standing on either side of her were two other camp directors, Darren and Christy. Seated in a chair on the other side of the desk was Cassidy, the last person I'd ever thought would be there.
Well this can't be good.
I swallowed nervously and looked at Austin with wide eyes, my stomach suddenly felt like i had just done a million flips. The nerves and panic quickly consumed every inch of me. I looked over at Austin but he was just as confused as me right now.
I don't think Cassidy had any clue about this either though, because when we walked in she seemed very surprised to see us. But her state of shock quickly vanished and I swear she was almost ready to pounce on all four of us as if we were the bad guys. Megan and Bea had done something probably horrible and definitely stupid.
"What's going on?!" I freaked out, raising my tone at Megan and Bea as I got more panicked.
"Have a seat please." Darren told all four of us, not being polite but not being rude either. This must be serious.
"Personally, I think this is a waste of time." Cassidy glared as we walked in.
"Alright Megan is there a reason you required all of our time right here and now?" Carol asked impatiently as we sat down.
I had no idea what was happening right now, the room felt thick with tension and I could only imagine the evil thoughts going through Cassidy's mind right now about me. Austin sat in the chair beside me, and laced his fingers with mine in hopes to calm me. I like that he can almost always tell what I'm thinking, especially at times like these.
"We've called you all here for a very important reason." Bea started.
"You see, Cassidy here has been threatening and doing some pretty nasty things to Ally for quite some time now. Austin, Bea and myself are all witnesses to this ma'am." Megan replied with a smile.
All three camp directors brought their stares on me now and suddenly I felt smaller than a mouse. I gripped Austin's hand tighter out of nerves. Suddenly I understood everything they were doing. They were getting rid of her for good.
"Is this true, Ally?" Carol asked me.
I looked at Cassidy and then back at them, letting out a long breath.
"Yes." I nodded quietly.
"It's not true! I swear!" Cassidy piped in.
Us four rolled our eyes at her. When does she stop?!
"Well as much as we'd like to believe both of you we can't." Carol said to all of us.
"Why would we make something this serious up?!" Megan asked as if the question was rhetorical.
"I don't know, maybe because you're all out to get me and I'm clearly innocent." Cassidy added in.
"We have proof, see it for yourself." Bea said against Cassidy.
Megan rummaged through her bag for her phone and showed the three of them many pictures and videos as Cassidy just piled lies on top each other in hopes to win. It's failed pretty bad.
"Alright, I've seen enough." Carol put a hand up to motion she didn't want to look at any more stuff.
She turned to Cassidy with the most disappointed of looks, and it almost made me feel bad for her. Almost.
"Cassidy, we do not tolerate these kind of things here at Camp Eastwood. I'm sorry, you must pack your bags and leave immediately. We will contact your father to come get you." Carol finished.
"This isn't fair! I hate all of you!" She yelled and stormed out of the office dramatically.
It was silent for a moment, the only sounds heard were the sorry thoughts from everyone and Cassidy's loud fit until it died down to nothing.
"And Ally, we are truly sorry. You should have told us as soon as this started happening." She told me sympathetically.
"I know." I replied.
Austin rubbed small circles on my hand with his thumb, instantly putting me at ease.
"Megan, Bea, thank you for bringing this problem to us." Carol addressed them with appreciation.
"Trust us, it was our pleasure. We've been waiting a life time for this to finally happen." Megan let out a long breath of relief.
With that, the two girls thanked Carol and pulled Austin and I out of the room in a fast commotion. I got out of my chair so fast i got dizzy when i stood up. We followed, but not because we wanted to of course.
"Where are we rushing to now?!" Austin asked as we practically ran off with the two girls.
"And are we done yet because Austin and I were in the middle of something before you two interrupted us." I asked as we forcefully followed them.
"Yeah I'm sure you were so busy sucking each others faces off!" Megan over exaggerated.
"We only kissed like twice." I defended us quickly.
Austin nodded in agreement with me.
"But seriously, are we done now? No offense or anything." Austin asked a little impatient.
"Not quite. There's something I've been dying to do and Ally needs to be a witness of it." Megan replied as we kept walking.
"Well then why do I need to be here?!" He huffed in frustration.
"Rude!" I blurted out.
This time it was so my turn to hit him.
"Sorry." He muttered sheepishly.
"But seriously why?" He continued.
"You are really impatient and so annoying." Bea stated.
"I don't know how you stand him, Ally!" Megan teased.
"Gee thanks." He retorted back.
"But to answer your question, you aren't really needed but you might as well come to support!" Megan exclaimed.
Oh god, what were we about to do now?!
"And you can quit your complaining because we're here now!" Bea sang with excitement.
I didn't know where we were. It seemed to be just another one of the cabins here where us campers stayed in. I looked over at Austin and it seemed he knew exactly where we were. But he didn't seem to thrilled about it.
"Why are we here? I thought we were finished with Cassidy?" Austin asked.
This is Cassidy's cabin, well great.
"WE'RE WHERE?" I exclaimed with wide eyes.
Back in the office with her had been quite enough for me, and at least there were adults there that prevented her from going all psycho bitch on me! I tried to run the other way but two hands latched onto me before I got the chance. Darn it!
"Oh hush, Ally! Bea and I just really need to do something!" Megan said in an annoyed tone.
Austin and I stayed in our place, standing a good distance away from the cabin door where Cassidy would be behind. I was just too freaked out to move. The two marched up to it and knocked rather frequently. I had no idea what they were about to do but it can't be good.
"What do you want?!" Cassidy hissed when she opened the door.
I was lucky I didn't blink otherwise I would have missed the most shocking thing yet. Without warning, Megan's response was a loud slap across her face. Let's just say I wasn't the only one who gasped.
"What the hell!" She screamed.
"I've waited so long to do that you have no idea! I promised Ally I wouldn't lay a finger on you but now that you're leaving I couldn't miss my opportunity." Megan spat harshly at her.
It was Bea's turn to slap her next.
"Ally is way to nice to ever give you the slaps that you deserve, so we're doing it for her! You're a real bitch and I hope you find the decency in yourself to get over yourself." Bea told her with a cold expression.
It was like I was watching some slap fest. I watched the whole thing go down with wide eyes. We're they crazy?! The answer was clearly yes because only Megan and Bea are stupid enough to come here just to give her a well deserved slap. But the mentioning of my name brought me right out of my wild thoughts.
"I see Ally still can't fight her own battles, how typical." Cassidy sneered and looked right at me with a smirk.
Her voice was like pure venom, so cringe worthy it hurt. That was the last straw. She has insulted and walked all over me way too many times and now she is going to get it. I don't know why, but something just came over me and I felt all my anger burst at once. I marched my way over to her, really pissed off.
"Cassidy I am sick of you treating me like this! I'm sorry that you can't understand that I'm the bigger person here, and that I won't ever stoop to your level. that's not people fighting my battles, thats what having real friends is like, not that you would know anything about that. Just give it a rest already, you've lost!" I shouted at her angrily.
Austin just stood a ways back, watching this all unfold. He had already had his spiel with Cassidy during their break up, I'm sure he didn't want another one. As for Megan and Bea, they looked like they were over the moon when I spoke to her. I'm glad Austin or anyone didn't stop me from unleashing all hell on her though. I almost hit her, almost. But I willed myself not to do it, despite the fact that she real deserved it.
"Ugh! Ally you are-"
"Don't even bother wasting your breath on this anymore. You're just lucky all I did was slap you because I wanted to a lot worse." Megan rudely interrupted her.
"Ally deserves a whole lot more than just an apology from you but we all know that won't happen, so at least have enough respect to stop talking to her at all anymore." Bea defended me.
"That's all we have to say to you. Have a nice life, Cassidy." Megan smiled widely, and not even Cassidy could say anything to wipe it off.
Cassidy just stood there, dumbfounded. It was the best I'd seen her all summer! We smiled triumphantly and marched away, not bothering to look back. She slammed her door so hard that I'm surprised it didn't come right off the hinges. Her screams were very well heard as we walked away. God did that feel good. I felt really free right now, like I can do anything! I really don't have to worry about her anymore!
"Well that was something." Austin commented as we walked.
"I know." I breathed.
"We're so proud of you, Ally!" Megan cheered with delight.
"I've just seriously had enough of her." I sighed.
"We all have." Austin piped in.
"You can't even talk! You didn't have to deal with that version of her until a couple of hours ago, just saying!" Megan argued.
"Touché." He smiled.
"Thank you. You guys are good friends." I smiled at them.
"It's no big deal. She had it coming to her." Bea laughed a little.
At least that was something we could all agree on.
"We should be going to be on our way now because I'm sure you two are just dying to be alone now." Megan teased.
I rolled my eyes in response, even though it was true.
"Well, kind of." Austin laughed. I too joined in with his own laughter.
"But we expect a full report after!" Bea said to me in all seriousness.
"Alright!" I shouted as they walked off in the other direction.
Austin waited until they were out of ear shot to speak.
"Finally! I thought they'd never leave." He groaned as we aimlessly walked.
"Me too." I laughed.
It was silent for a moment, and honestly it felt really nice. I don't think we'd enjoyed a moment like this in ages. But now that we were finally alone, all the nerves came flooding right back into me. I mean, can you blame me?! A lot has happened in one day, too much. I started to hyperventilate and it didn't go unnoticed by a certain blond.
"Are you ok?!" He asked in a panicked voice.
I nodded, not really being able to speak. His eyes were wide and he looked at me like I had five heads. He pulled me in for a bone crushing hug, but oddly enough it helped put me at ease. I felt my heart beat slow to a more normal pace, and I had gained control of my own voice again.
"Sorry. I just, I don't know! This is all so crazy." I desperately let it all out into his chest.
"It's ok." He reassured, still hugging me.
I don't ever want him to let go.
"Is it though? This is stupid." I said doubtfully, referring to us.
Maybe it really was though. I know we both like each other and nothing makes me happier than that, but I don't want to make a bigger mess than we've already made, and that one's pretty big. He'a still my best friend, and I don't want that to change.
"No it's not. And I'm going to prove it to you, my girlfriend, by taking you on our first official date." He smiled down at me.
My breath caught in my throat. Girlfriend. That's the first time he's referred to me as something rather than just friend. I liked it, loved it! Girlfriend had a real nice ring to it.
BUT WAIT. Austin just called me his girlfriend! I was internally freaking out right now. And although most of my mind has been hazy today, I clearly don't remember him asking me that question!
"Are you ok, Ally?" He asked with worry.
"You called me you're girlfriend." I said blankly.
"Yeah? What about it?" He questioned carefully.
"It's just, I don't remember you asking me to be your girlfriend." I pondered at him.
"Are you really going to make me ask?" He laughed.
"I thought it was pretty obvious." He said this closer to my ear, sending shivers down my spin.
Fight it, Ally. Don't let him get to you, stand your ground!
"Yes I am! I'm not going on that date if you don't And that's no way to ask either." I said seriously.
"Alright, alright. Anything for you." He smiled.
"Ally, I like you so so much. And I know you're way too good for me, and probably deserve someone who isn't such an asshole, but I want the world to know how I feel! So will you please be my girlfriend?" He asked hopefully.
I waited a moment, just to make him more nervous. Purely for my own sick amusement. But how could I ever say no? Especially when his little speech was so cute.
"I thought you'd never ask." I teased, laughing a little.
I quickly kissed his cheek and he instantly smiled at my touch on him.
"Now about that date. I'd like some complete details about it." I started, still laughing.
He laughed with me and it made all my doubts slowly fade away to nothing.
