TNG stands for The Next Generation. This Series stars Goku Jr and Vegeta Jr and their efforts to protect the planet like their ancestors before them. Originally I was gonna have this play out like a lot of other Dragon Ball AF stories, but after watching the final episode of GT, I decided to go in another direction.

Chapter 5: Family Reunion

For 10 years Goku and Vegeta Jr trained. They were for the most part able to live normalish lives. They graduated from High School (Vegeta Jr was Valedictorian); they went on dates with girls. By far however, the biggest change in those years for Goku was the passing of Pan. After her passing Goku moved in and lived with Vegeta and the rest of the Brief family.

Dende (who is now looking older with wrinkles all over his face) summons the two back to the lookout.

Dende- Thank you for coming on such short notice, it however is time to send you to the next step of your training.

Vegeta Jr- What would the next step be?

Dende- I have talked to King Yemma about letting you train with earth's past warriors. He has allowed this and I shall be taking you straight there.

Vegeta and Goku Jr give each other a fist pump in excitement of this news. Dende teleports them to the Other World, and tells them he will come back once their training is complete, or if Tenchou comes back.

Goku Jr- So this is the other world. I can sense some strong people here.

Vegeta Jr- I sense many fighters that are stronger this us… in fact… some of these powers feel familiar for some reason.

Unknown Voice- So you must be the new protectors of Earth that Dende told us about.

Goku and Vegeta Jr turn around to the location of where the voice came from. They see two mails that they recognize from pictures. Standing a few feet from them were Gohan and Vegeta.

In shock and in unison

Vegeta Jr & Goku Jr- a...are you the ones that are goanna t..t..train us?

Gohan nods his head.

Gohan- You are correct, we are goanna train and teach you as many techniques that we can. Any questions?

Vegeta steps forward

Vegeta- NO! They will not get any questions; we have wasted enough time talking. We have train this two to be able to protect the Earth from that weakling Tenchou.

Goku Jr- Weakling?

Vegeta- Your damn right. If I was there I would have decimated him with just the flick of my finger. But no, we have to let our decedents protect the Earth now. So ENOUGH TALK and follow us, your training from hell begins now.

Gohan breaks into a smile and lets out a chuckle. Both Vegeta and Gohan turn to head to where they will be training.

Goku Jr and Vegeta Jr gulp.
